Nah they weren't that bad. Certainly not bad for £35. Pretty comfy with thick enough socks too. And bonus my browny belt matches.

Got myself a pair of these in the sales (fifty quid! :drool)
And bought myself a plain matching green sweater from H&M.
Do you skate m8?
Associating skaters with Hi-Tops is very 2003.
Nah I love hi-tops. I got a pair of white Tretorns for $25. $25! Am i a deals guru or what
I've lost all concept of shoe prices outside of Switzerland where the mark ups are absolutely ridiculous. It's about an $180 RRP for any Nike/Adidas/Puma main brand shoe. It's like 80-90 over there right?
edit: Absolutely sorted for next years St Paddys
It's 80-90 if youre a sucker. You can usually find that kind of stuff for $50-60 somewhere, the $25 was a black Friday deal.
While European clothing prices are fuckin outrageous (in the Czech Republic shit brands like Abercrombie sell for 6x their sale value in the States), in Japan its even worse. i'm pretty sure it's dishonorable to spend anything below $200 for an American brand, they all wear preteen clothes and spunk their whole paycheck on them. Cultural supremacy eh
You're the whitest man alive, phonics. Give it up.
I went a bit Luca today and bought myself these in celebration of having finished my Christmas shopping.
They're a bit swish but spending >£200 on footwear is mental.
Planned to go on a spending spree of sorts today and came back with socks and a plain t costing £18. Wild.
Having a little look at the sales. I'd like some boots.
Can't make my mind up on these - http://www.marksandspencer.com/leath...ts/p/p22400101
The tan ones. Fuck paying £75 for the slightly better colour.
Yay or nay?
They're alright but I prefer brogue ones. I'm sure you could find some others for a similar price.
Yeah, probably.
I don't really like brogue boots.
These (and their brown equivalent) are on my list: http://www.riverisland.com/men/shoes...y-boots-287715
What pants do you wear with boots?
I had to stop wearing my hightops once I fully switched to skinny jeans (well, Levi 511) because they rode too high at the ankle and it looked dumb.

I'm a twit
Do you mean trousers?
Skinny jeans are fine with hightops. I've never had a problem with them.
Depends on the foot size/leg circumference ratio.
Got one of those Winter hats with the flaps. I'm going to be the next Dappy
I quite like these but I'm worried they might be a bit too red in person:

Topman shoes are really shit quality, or at least they were last time I bought a couple of pairs. Fell apart in months.
Most decent high street places will be alright for quality - it is just Topman specifically that I'd say to avoid. M&S are very decent quality for their price, but obviously not much use if you don't like anything they have in stock.
If you're willing to splurge a little bit you could just try specialist high-end places like Church's or something? They would be fucking expensive, but would last forever.
I just ended up ordering those ones last night anyway.
He can now. It was a while ago that he was skint.
Got some stuff in the sale:

The coat and bag are for work
Lads:
Think that's the exact pair I had at about 13. Not sure they warrant a drool but they were pretty comfortable.
Did your wife approve them first?
I haven't bought them just now you uncool goon. I bet you had two stripe you backward cunt.
You're projecting again.
Yeah well I'd be able to get a 4K projection on to your titanic cranium.
They're nice.
&
The latter are up there with my favourite trainers I've owned. The colours are never as bright as on the right and I don't think they come off as 12 year old shoes.
Are you an ethnic, Dino?
Sure, in some sense.
Those top ones look like something someone's mum would have worn in the early 90s.
They are both horrific.
Going suit shopping later with The Reid along with @Baz and our Dad.
Is it okay to wear braces with a waistcoat?
Like I wanna wear braces cos they look cool, but it seems a waistcoat is what separates a work suit and a proper formal suit, so I could do with wearing one of those too.
