I don't know if we even have Uber but from what I gather you go on an app and then the closest car comes and brings you wherever. Thats what our taxis do anyway.

Don't use it very much at all though. Pretty much just when I'm in London. Apparently it's pretty shit in Belfast as there aren't enough cars and it's more expensive than the two large local taxi firms which cover the whole city anyway. Think they've both got their own apps now too.

They're actually not on that basis. Both based in the city centre and cover all parts of the city.

think my rating is skewed by a couple of spackers getting confused and saying i didn't turn up for my ride when they parked about half a mile from where i actually requested it. neither cunt answered the phone when i tried to tell them they'd gone to the wrong place, either.

Mine is 4.54, I've had a few cancellations where they wouldn't take my dog after I called, but refused to cancel to try and make me pay the £5 fee. Fuck you, if you don't want to take me, then you cancel. Those have definitely cost me.
I've also gotten one star reviews after being on time, sitting silently in the back, and giving them a tip. It seems random at times.
It's easy to be anti-Uber when never needing a cab and having a phone with no space for extra apps tbf.
I just get a taxi the proper way.
