How the hell did Morocco make it to the World Cup anyway.
Had to check if Taarabt was still in the team. He isn't.
Unlucky for the two non-European sides. I'd have picked them to post an upset or two in another group.
Yeah, this is the group of death. I really like Morocco and Iran. Think the group really could finish in any order.
Does Morocco and Iran have a single decent player between them?
Morocco have some decent individuals, but overall they're both a lot weaker man for man than Spain. That Portugal squad really isn't all that.
It's more that they're both really well coached. Iran's defence should be one of the best at the tournament.
This is worse than H.
Portulol and Spain to go through.
Morocco are my second team due to being Cov's closest link to the World Cup outside Jordan Henderson's loan spell.
Morocco all the way.
Whichever of the European pair loses the first game will go out. It's a great group though and will probably feature the largest amount of cheating of any group in World Cup history.
His record as a club manager is absolutely shite, which for me only highlights his tournament-winning genius all the more.
He's never been to a World Cup. Ivory Coast had that bloke last time, and for some reason Sven the time before that.
I do love those that crack the international style of management. They all feel like real enigmas.
I loved them both, but while Hadji signing for us made me believe that anything is possible Chippo didn't jump to Villa when we went down. Shout out to the lesser spotted Youssef Safri too.
Bayliss is clearly not long for our world, Spurs have been watching him all season apparently. Stevenson was the player we feared losing last year, he couldn't get in the team this season.
One of those where they'll buy him but he'll go on loan or play U-23s. Thomas, Harries and Stevenson have gone to Leicester, Swansea and Wolves respectively in the last year and the only way I see any of them playing any time soon is maybe Harries now that Swansea are down.
I think Bayliss could end up getting there eventually though, he's a slightly less poncy version of James Maddison.
Spain
Portugal
Iran
Morocco
Could be a shock here though.
I think this could be a very good game despite a potential low score.
Looking forward to seeing Azmoun as I've heard a lot of good things.
Should be good, troops.

Apparently I can’t upload photos. Brilliant.
Morrocco could be fun. Sexy Herve on the sidelines and some nice technical players.
Ziyech is a player. Belhanda was amazing with Giroud at Montpellier when they won the league but I couldn’t tell you where he is now.
At least this should be competitive. Hopefully.
Got $10 on Iran let's go!
We have a woman on commentary for fuck sake.
Back home (so like ten years ago now) there was a woman who would do commentary once in a while. She was quite good. Better than most.
I mean I regularly watch women's football ("i got black friends!") cause it's the only version we're actually good in (both Orlando and USA) but idk I can't imagine there weren't some former men's footballer who could do this as opposed to Aly Wagner (former US women's player).
Apparently it's the first time a woman has called a (Men's!) World Cup match in America. Woopee.
I'd rather a woman who is good in the role (no idea of she is) than a male who is shit.
Women as summarisers is great, but high pitched voices of any kind doing what our North American cousins would call the 'Play-by-play' is quite offputting to me.
Yeah this chick is solid
Ya to be fair to her she's done well I can't really complain.
Everyone in Telemundo is dogshit. I miss Televisa / TV Azteca.
I'm all for women officials. We had the first female ref in the league a few years ago when she had to come on as sub ref and she gave us absolutely every decision going, it was fantastic.
Morocco was donning it early on but Iran is looking better now.
This has been turgid as well. More massive diags going out of play.
This has been great, along with every game so far.
Bar the finishing I think it's been a decent game.
Yes, it's been alright. Better than the ultra defensive shitshows that have been the rage for a long while now.
I think the ball is a little light once again (as it always is), but nothing like South Africa proportions.
Why is it mArocco?
