Look I really think we all should get behind Liverpool as the only British club in the champions league.
Positive comments only, or John said you're getting a warning.
Irish club.
Niko.
The space is unreal.
This is horrible.
Getting silly now.
Silly and amazing
Double figures soon!
If Danny Ings scores...
We’re in the final lads. Kiev here we come.
What an incredible performance. Jurg has absolutely bossed it, tactically.
I'm a twit
Jinxed it lad.
That's why it isnt over.
That Mongolian freak has been the only Roma player trying.
Hahahaha.
Baz getting Roma back in the tie here. What a lad.
Liverpool
I know Roma haven’t conceded a single champions league goal at home this season, but can you really see this Liverpool team we’ve watched tonight not score at least once? Salah won’t be fasting yet, so we’ll be fine.
I'm a twit
Any other team 5-2 would be insurmountable but the bin dippers every chance they'll bottle it.
Also lol at that Ings sub now.
Get that pitch dried out Roma.
Despite Baz and his massive clanger, we’ll still go through, I think we’ll win away too especially if they play that high line again.
All the bitter man utd fans.
Did Ings even touch the ball?
'Hope' for Roma only means Liverpool taking it seriously next week and maybe a small boost for Stoke at the weekend if players are rested (although I'm not sure that can really be afforded). Whilst Liverpool could easily ship 3 in Rome, they'll probably score that many as well. The proper shit your pants time will be when they're 3-0 up with 10 minutes to go in the final.
The worst thing next week will be the atmosphere. We'll need an early goal to settle the nerves and then we'll be fine.
Also, we really shouldn't be bringing on Danny Ings in the Champions League. He is so far below the level required it's not even funny.
Chamberlain's dead apparently, so that's just 3 midfielders left and Henderson is on a booking - how does that work? Can you still get banned for the final or is it harder now?
Lolling past Roma and the having half the youth team just come up short against Real would be
Where's Lallana at the minute?
Croque monsieur.
Injured. Came back in a league game recently and lasted ten minutes. Can see Klopp playing Woodburn against Stoke.
Lallana is probably still trying to choke out that Spurs reserve.
Fuck off Liverpool.
Headline next week: Liverpool out on away goals due to defensive fuckup.
I've already had the nightmares. Roma are 2-0 up in the 80th minute and chasing the 3rd. Look to the sideline and there's Klopp sending Ragnar Klavan on. Cue calamity between him and Karius costing the 3rd goal.
Liverpool played worse once salah was taken off, than roma played when salah was still on.
I think everyone's reading a bit too much into the last 10 minutes or so last night. Roma scored a good goal and were gifted another by the ref (that's never a pen and how he 'sees' it from his position I have no idea - did the line-dweller give it?). The comparisons to the Barcelona tie are not justified. They were probably the better side in the Nou Camp and were very unlucky in both the scoreline and the manner in which they conceded the goals, as opposed to last night, where they couldn't really have complained if they'd been 8-0 down after 80 minutes.
It's just that there have been so many "spectacular" comebacks in the CL this year and last year, that people will sort of think that a 3 goal deficit isn't too bad.
But it does leave Roma with some sort of chance, so at least something could happen in the next leg which is nice for the sake of viewing it.
Just occurred to me that Henderson, Milner, Gini / Can / Ox would be the worst midfield to lineup in the final in ages, surely?
Barcelona turned up to the away leg thinking they'd won the tie already. With a bit of luck, Klopp rests everyone for the Stoke game and drills into them they need goals.
It all rests on whether or not Liverpool score. If so, it'll be tough for Roma to do it. If Liverpool don't score, I could see Roma taking their time and picking off the three goals needed.
lol
Yeah if it was Mourinho, it would have ended 1-0 instead and they would have a MASSIVE 1 goal advantage (but no away goals yay).
