I was a Train Conductor, which is a different job in the UK than over there. That said it isn't just selling tickets, you have operational responsibilities and have to pass regular knowledge and safety tests to remain 'competent'.
Now I am a planning manager responsible for crew movements.

Those massive houses might look tempting from afar, but trust me, they are always in disgusting suburbs and you definitely don't want to be living in those places.
Yeah, I mean it works on a smaller scale within the UK. You can get a bigger house for less money in Northern Ireland than you can in England but I don't see you all wanting to move here.
Massive houses are overrated anyway. You will sit on the same couch every single evening regardless.
There's a reason why houses are worth a lot in certain areas and less in others. Good old market forces, dontcha love'em.
