I will try and do that. I receive around 200 a day although 95% of them are external which makes it feel like about a thousand.

Don't worry, today I have discovered the chink in the froggy customers' armour: the Labour Day bank holiday. Been sat around here reading up on 90s football for hours.

Were you doing that anyway or has the thought of Euro 96 inspired you?

Wife is keen on emigrating to Canada, a mate of mine did similar last year and now lives in a fucking mansion compared to the average UK house and I know he isn't making a mint. I would be up for it but the only person I know in my industry contracting over there is massive mates with my boss so can't really ask. Been searching about on some sites but not seen much relevant to my current job.

Supposedly I qualify on points even without a job offer and both of our jobs are listed on the 2020 skills shortage list but finding relevant vacancies is a ballache.

I was a Train Conductor, which is a different job in the UK than over there. That said it isn't just selling tickets, you have operational responsibilities and have to pass regular knowledge and safety tests to remain 'competent'.

Now I am a planning manager responsible for crew movements.

Smiffy probably got in on a tourist visa, shat the job after 2 days and then moved back to Wales.

I think Dav was there for a while. I was hoping to move there a while back and asked him about it. My takeaway from our chat was that they absolutely drown you in paperwork and if you miss a beat, you're out.

Jimmy I love ya, but you conflating allowing to be manipulated by your employers with "work ethic" comes from the same malfunctioning part of your brain that makes you vote Tory. Although I am happy to admit that me conflating being a lazy, ineffectual member of staff with sticking it to the man probably probably comes from the same malfunctioning part of my brain that makes me vote Labour. Eh, what you gonna do.

Its probably one of those questions you're better off not knowing.

Saw a youtube video yesterday of some guy buying a €500,000 house in Texas and it was a mansion, lucky to get four decent bedrooms around here and they would had a swimming pool, triple garage, bar built into the swimming pool and every room was huge.

I've always wanted to move somewhere else. Our house prices and cost of living are a joke. The mrs is too tied to her family though, so I don't think it'll ever happen.

I made the mistake of doing that when I bought my first house. I looked within 10 miles of where my sister lived in Australia and could've got a fucking mansion with pool, etc.

You’d have to live in Australia though. That’s not a slight on Oz, I more mean that it’s all good saying about leaving home but a lot harder to do it. I know I definitely couldn’t live in another country again.

Why would I want to live in France? I'd be happy to move to Australia but she fears the 'killer Aussie animals' stereotype too much.

I’d love to move to Texas. Demoralising seeing the amount of house you get compared to here.

Just have to accept a hurricane may come and knock it over or flood it.

Those massive houses might look tempting from afar, but trust me, they are always in disgusting suburbs and you definitely don't want to be living in those places.

Yeah, I mean it works on a smaller scale within the UK. You can get a bigger house for less money in Northern Ireland than you can in England but I don't see you all wanting to move here.

There's a reason why houses are worth a lot in certain areas and less in others. Good old market forces, dontcha love'em.
