The 'farm system' is genius. Lewis would love that, United would own Bolton, Oldham, Accrington, Macclesfield and Salford and have all of them packed out with young players from around the world.

But yeah, $34 million a year for Zack Greinke to play about 1/5 of those games? Nice work if you can get it.

That's insane, I thought you were talking about being 11 or something. Switching teams do your direct rival at the age of 20 is unheard of.

I think I was annoyed by then making a scapegoat of GG so thought it only right to go with him. Has to rank up there as one of my less good decisions.

On the topic of supporting, I used to be a Djurgården suppoter in Sweden, which I suppose I still identify as if someone asks, but I don't really give a fuck about that team - or Swedish football - at all anymore, and I'm not really very fussed about how our national team does now either now that Zlatan doesn't play for it.

I used to support Pompey but since they went so low in the system now I mainly just support Arsenal, which has sort of become my main team overall that I care about (much to my own frustration, as I'm not sure why I took a liking for them in the first place but I think it had something to do with Ljungberg & Bergkamp back in the day).

I used to follow arsenal heavy up until about 5 years ago. But once arsenal started winning trophies and wolves ended up in league one. Wolves needed more of the support.

Arsenal fans are comfortably the worst in the league. Even the ones I know are the most unstable fans of any club I’ve met. It’s like they never grew out of their 10 year old football fan stage, you just know they all wear Arsenal pants (which often get in a twist) and have the full bed spreads.

Im 99% sure since the first FA cup win in 2014, arsenal have won more trophies in english football than their london and manchester rivals. None of them compare to a league title, but they all count.

See, you can swap them for Wolverhampton pants but they’ll still twist at a moments notice.

Do you only have one pair? I just buy new ones when they fade. Just like when it happens to trainers. I’d wear jeans three times before getting them washed.

I too have vaguely started watching baseball every now & again - I think it’s because it’s the NFL offseason. I’d like to get into the NHL & NBA too, but it’s just too much sport for one life.

I'd like to get into NBA but I just can't be arsed bar playing the 2K games.

I gave baseball a bit of a go when I was last in America and it wasn't too bad.

Baseball's weird, it's a sport in the same way fishing is a sport but I don't hate it or anything.

I'd love basketball if it wasn't filled with so many freaks. Maybe if they put the nets like 6 feet higher there wouldn't be so many giant ogres on the court. Could be worth.

See I quite like college basketball but NBA isn't as good. At least in college when you watch the top teams their really good but they make mistakes which makes it pretty competitive. In the NBA the amount of points scored is just ridic.

I thought not watching the NBA because they don't make as many mistakes as their collegiate counterparts was asinine but not watching basketball because the players are athletic is by far the more riveting excuse.

    One point for house Mok.

I never understood the appeal of bake-off. Or any competitive cooking show.

But they're popular enough that the fault is likely with me, rather than the show.
