He's pretty damn good on an anchor, might try on a Shadow when they stop being extinct on Monday with there being so many Salah's flying around the right flank now. Alaba as a CM supersub was something I was hoping to do as well, and after 2 games with him as a closer coming on for Rijkaard I can honestly say that is far more than a fringe benefit of upgrading at left back, he's an animal of a defensive midfielder.

Bit annoyed I can only get RvP from the FUT Birthday SBC's due to still not being able to undo my closed double NAT, hence only being able to find matches on dedicated servers (DKT and Fut Champs). These online singles matches can fuck right off.
Meanwhile, I've been a bit good in Fut Champs of late, perhaps due to being more relaxed knowing I only need 11 wins for auto qualification and not particularly bothered with qualifying at all, having taken a few weekends off. I've gone 24-10, 24-11, 10-2 (wish I'd known it had been reduced to 11 wins that weekend for AQ, didn't realise at all), 9-3 and 12-4 in the last couple of months. Were I playing full weekends throughout the month I'd be looking at Elite weekly and monthlies for that.

The centre back Kolasinac looks bonkers. Far from a colossus in the air but apply a Shadow and you've got a centre back with high defensive work rate and ninety six sprint speed.

It’s not new news. Happens every year - post refresh the guys that were upgrade Silver to Gold become common as fuck.

I only bothered to qualify once (and only did 7 games) because getting to 18 last year was such a fucking chore.
I lost in the final of a DKT earlier 4-2 (he got 3 goals really early, I was then all over him and pulled it back to 3-2 before he got a bullshit 80th minute penalty), should be able to do it tonight or tonight though.
Given it a miss as I realised I wouldn't be able to play much this weekend or next and then I'm away for a couple of weeks.
Did play a good 5 or 6 online seasons matches though and I never got to hear the final whistle as people were leaving so early. As soon as I'd score second most of them left, only 1 made it to 3-0.

I just finished Kaka. Opened the prime players pack. MOTM, Argentina, LM ....fuck you FIFA.
I'd only get rid of Roberto Carlos to bring Bale in, which hopefully I'd be able to do from the pack rewards.

This week's IF Aouar with an Engine card on him looks about as good as a midfielder can be. For eleven thousand coins he's a deeply silly bargain.

Kaka bagged 3 in the first game I played and had about 40 stam left by the end of the game. This was his second goal. Title is overkill but
Picked on Auba for 66k during the market crash. He does not feel as fast as I would have thought. Probably down to his dribbling being so low. He is OK. but on as a RCAM, I prefer raffael. Only played a few games with him, this goal being the best one. I can almost guarantee that after 70 minutes against legendary on SB, I can score 3 goals.

Haven't played much at all lately. Spent all my coins when there was this focus on PL packs which was like 300k got basically nothing except for a MOTM Willian card. Seems that now you can sell anyone 83+ for silly money so made I think 250k from that in 24 hours. Which PL player should I buy?

Finished the Prime Ronaldo SBC, played a few games with him (he's obscene) but was almost instantly bored.
The fun in this game is in the grind at the start and it's too easy to pull a good team together if you use all of the options available to you to do so. With that in mind, I've set up a third account and I think I'll make it pack only (for at least the player I use in the team) and see how we go with that.
I played a few games last night with Giroud up front as a placeholder in a half finished hybrid side and he was absolutely superb. Six goals and six assists in four games.
His performance has all but convinced me that I need to get Lukaku in place of Batshuayi for my main team. That extra ability in the air made a huge difference.
Aouar is a bit lightweight but technically he's flawless. With the engine card applied he's like peak Iniesta with a bit more pace.
I bought neurer for 91k. Tried him for a few games and he really is a beast of a goalkeeper. Ive been using low rated bundesliga goalkeepers since fifa start. Should have got neurer much sooner. He comes for all crosses and saves all close range shots without even diving.
Also played a few draft games and managed to get toty kante and if pogba in a midfield two. I don't play with high end cards but they were by far, the best two played ive used in fifa. Running with the ball with pogba is such a satisfying feeling. Kante is just all over the place like birdshit. Its crazy how good he is. I really need to start using the high end cards now every played is available for 12k.
I was looking at a new right back and saw zanetti was cheap but he has 48 jumping. No good for those back post headers vs c.ronaldo.
Pogba is indeed great to run with, he seems to glide with the ball it's a brilliant animation.
