I'm not even going to bother trying to get Shearer if Yev has been playing from the beginning and seemingly gone balls deep in it and is only now close to getting him.
Yev has been sitting on about 5m for most of it.

What do I need to do to achieve that? I've only had one sit down so far and have 9k. I've not played this properly since FIFA 12 where it was just about buying cheap and selling high, but there seems to be so much more to it now. I see a lot of mention of SBC, I know little of it, other than you can get a good player at the end of it (think I had a brief attempt at getting Giovinco one year before selling the game), I have no idea how it's used as a money maker.
The web app looks so bad I'm genuinely wondering if I'm using the right thing.

In game Ben Yedder goes up front, KDB to CAM, Vieira to CDM and Pogba to RCM.
Carlos would be the better option for me as I need the icon links. No way to get Marcelo into the team

You're misunderstanding the system. The value refers to the cost of doing to the SBC compared to the cost of the pack you get for doing it. There's no way they could build a system based on the randomly generated contents.
I know it's random, but I thought the average value of the pack contents may have come into it or something, hadn't figured it was just to do with the cost of the pack, thanks. So you still need a good bit of luck to make money from SBCs, how are people making millions of coins from them?

Do all the coin unlocks from the store - that'll get you over 100k and over 100k can get you a very good team.
Oh and once you get into SBC's you'll be hooked, they're great fun.

750k for Rijkaard seems accurate. Did him for about 500k with the guys in my club included. I'll need to spend 125k to replace the guys I used who are from the EPL/La Liga and have 45k left. Given I expect Gold 1/2 from this weekend league, I should have replaced all of those by next Thursday.
220k of my Riijkard fund came from selling Fernandinho, whose place he will take, and whom I made 50k profit on, which was nice.

You can get a good enough prem side for dirt cheap now.
Begovic, Matip, Bakayoko and Jesus is about 10k. Will sort your spine out no end.
Throw in players like Son, Matic, and Mahrez who are under 2k and you will have a squad good enough for SB's in no time.
Son is the best value player in the game. Stick a Hawk on him and play 4321 and you'll legitimately never need to upgrade him.
12 of the 16 advanced SBC's down and only cost me about 50k so far. The packs I'm stocking up look very good indeed, but not sure when to open them. Do I do it now and hopefully benefit from the pack weighting not being totally fucked, or risk it until after 6 and hopefully pull one of the upgraded beasts?
Finished off all of the Advanced SBC's. Probably spunked my load too early doing the Cultural one as the Spanish/Bundesliga one costs far too much still, but i couldn't resist the rewards. Coins are down to 419k, but I have the following packs to open.

Sama - I haven't added it up, and I might get shit rewards, but there's a fuckton more coins worth of packs than the 120k or so I invested to do it. If you can be arsed, I'd thoroughly recommend it as a way to get the coin balance moving.
Everything about him. is better than his gold card. He feels stronger, a little faster with better dribbling and interceptions. He is amazing. Regret not buying him sooner. Makes me want to buy some icon now given i hear they are that good. I didnt really think the elite players would feel that much better but if IF goretzka feels like this, i can only imagine want vieira and guilt feel like.

Essentially. Many predicted that his NIF would be needed for the SBC because it was already a high priced card. So they bought to do/flip.
His price bombed after the announcement.

Got IF Moses and Gundogan from the Lunar Ultimate pack. Selling the duplicates in it netted a further 30k as well.
Barca Coutinho, one of the players I used in the Rijkaard SBC that needed replacing has dropped from 30k yesterday to 15k today with the packs being opened. I've bought up 2 of them and will add another shortly. Come the Liga SBC he'll go for 30k again at least.
SIF Kimmich is selling for about 120k but they have upped his ranged to 230k. It was previously 190k. Wonder if that is any indicator to an upgrade coming

That SBC with all the eights is a fucking nightmare. I completed it without spending a penny in the end, but a squad with a requirement of eight golds, rares, and nationalities, with eighty eight chemistry is the creation of an utter fucking pest.

They have increased the price of the eintracht frankfurt wingers. Max bin is now 17k
There was an active SBC which is mental. About 5 of the potions are locked but if you have the right players, they go for 10k max bin. Robin Van Wolfswinkel from basel is one and two korean right backs for a specific team which I had all three.
I was on reddit early and someone made a thread which I now can't find. On the player performance screen, check the popular suspected winter upgrade players as it appears to show you there new overall rating. I'm not playing right now to check, but on the screenshot, there was a 90 rated kimmich.
