Decided to fire it up for the first time in 3 weeks and an easy 5-0 win (all goals scored within 70 minutes) over Ferdinand's team on Legendary and it should have been more.
Doesn't feel as slow anymore.
Really? I have found it more annoying this week.
Looking for some opinions.
Here are my current sides:
Bundesliga (Worth 429 according to FUTBIN)

I plan on keeping Bundesliga as its my stronger team and getting Boateng, Hummels and Lewandowski long term to round it out. Thats going to be another 400k+
Its the second team I am trying to figure out what to do.
Here are my two options I came up with:
Serie A/PSG

I got Icardi and Pastore from the TOWT SBC (tradeable) last week. So this would cost me 220k (according to FUTBIN) to build.
Obvious upgrades include IF Insigne and Sandro.
Prem/La Liga Hybrid

That back 5 would cost me 230k.
I currently have about 250k in liquid coins plus IFs of Icardi, Kruse and Pastore giving me around another 110k.
Any one used any of the players I am looking at?

Edit: If I buy Hummels now I can move Khederia and Howedes into the Bundesliga side.
Getting bored waiting for a crash that may never happen, so toying with a couple of ideas:
Bring in De Gea, Bailly, Messi, Suarez, which will still leave me with a decent chunk of coins to keep going with.
Spunk the lot on one absolute superstar, which will keep me motivated to earn more coins to improve the other positions.
Did the ligue 1 SBC last night without having to buy anyone. Probably won’t use Cavani but a 90 rated SBC player is handy for TOTS and Icon SBCs and the 20k coins and 20 packs was more alluring than selling up players as the requirements being so easy this year means players aren’t soaring in value as they did last year. Still left myself plenty of surplus players some of which I sold for about 1-2k and others kept for MM’s etc.
Pulled Eriksen, Thiago and a couple of shite TOTWs from the packs. Probably made 250k from the lot with 100 odd players added to the club, so I’m happy with that. It’s allowed me to buy De Gea (replacing my IF Adan in one side and Lloris in the other, selling both netted another 115k), SIF Sterling (replacing his first IF, which sold for 95k) and I’m now 40k off replacing Goretzka with his in-form version.
Market crash definitely hasn’t happened. I made profit on all three major sales - Sterling went for 10k more than I bought him for a fortnight ago, same for Lloris and Adan netted about 5k profit. IF Goretzka meanwhile is 40k more expensive than he was before Black Friday.
I was counting on the mls, bundesliga and japan league as im well preparded flr those leagues. I had about 50 players from the saudi league which i sold. Probably should have just completed it as its so cheap.
Going to go on a bit of a spree today and try gather as many cheap Bunesliga players as possible ready for that SBC.
I had about 50 too. Sold 20-odd as the packs look shit but don’t wanna be stuffed on the couple of inevitable Saudi SBCs that will arrive down the line.
Will upgrade Goretzka to his inform and possibly do the next POTM (imagining it’s Salah, it will be a no brainier if so) and then save for FUTmas sbc’s.
Less worried about this now. I have 200+ Bundesliga players but was concerned about meeting requirements for the better teams, with Bayern needing an 85 raging last year, but seeing as the ligue 1 big boys had such low requirements that I bought shitter players to put in the team ahead of the high rated ones I had (like Verrati, Falco, Draxler), that I imagine this year I won’t need the likes of Vidal, Reus and Thiago to trade in.
Halfway through the Ligue 1 SBC's, but I think I genuinely can't do Lille as there are no right sided Lille players on the market.
Use the RB in the RW spot then use a CM in the RM spot.
Will probably need loyalty to push you over though.

There's only one CB on the market too, so I think it's genuinely not possible until some of those players appear - you can't get away with 4 players out of position and make 95 chemistry.
Depends how far out of position and using loyal players in those out of position spots. Need one more natural player though - if you can get 8 x 10 chem and 3 x 6 chem then all good. Unfortunately I can’t take advantage as I only have centre mids left.
In general though, I use a lot of players out of position. CDMs as CDs are a favourite. As well as full backs on opposing sides.

Yeah Bayern was the only club I am worried about but like you said it shouldnt be too bad. I think I have every other team covered in a pretty basic 4-4-2 for about 65k.
Also discovered I had 60+ Gold Squad fitness cards, those sold at 700/750 each so thats nice.
It's a shame they're not selling for quite as much as last year. I have 300 of the gold ones alone.
Yeah, was a nice little earner last year but considering I use practically none of them I figured I would get rid.
How can you man not use the gold fitness cards? You rotate your players heavy?

I've got a fair number too. Good that they've crept up to the 700 coin mark. They were as low as 300 at one stage.
I've got loads of bronze ones which I use.
I have the two teams in post 960, rotate them and never need fitness. The only constant between the two is the keeper so he gets a bronze/silver single player card every so often.
SIF Young, SIF De Gea and IF Lingard
I just have two squads. Same keeper in both (de Gea) who just needs a fitness card every ten games, and so have all ten outfield from squad A in the subs and reserves of squad B and vice versa with two dedicated subs. Last year it was essential as I’d then make 10k+ every week from fitness and injury cards from packs I got from MM and Fut Champs rewards. Now the price of those has halved, its less profitable but I still do it. Also gives me more freedom to expiriment with players as I’ve 5 different leagues across my two squads so it’s simpler to find space for a desirable player.
Can anyone suggest any perfect chemistry central midfield combo's?
Bought 87 Bergkamp and turned him into a central midfielder. He's magical.
What chem? Surely he's not good enough to go that deep?

He's only 630k ish at the moment, so I have to say I'm tempted.
Looking at his stats I struggled to see it. His stamina's surely a major problem for a start.
Having faced him in CM I can see it. A lot of fut Champs players this year doing same as me and swapping out their central midfield on 60 mins in every game anyway.
Well if it works, for 630k I'd probably be up for it.
I have a couple of workhorses in midfield to do all his running for him, so he's essentially free to just be a creative genius at all times. Seventeen assists in nine games tells its own story.
I'm using him in a hybrid made up largely of Belgians and Premier League players.

Quietly improving in SB. Now im into elite 2 playing all games on world class this week.
The difference between the AI and online is mega. I am food for anyone who knows how to attack through the middle.
Go straight to Legendary Sincere, there's very little difference between that and World Class and the points difference is huge.
I actually find legendary slightly easier.
Packed Gabriel Jesus & Coutinho this week. How can I fit them in. Jesus is only 81 but I've heard he's better than his rating suggests.
Played my first match on legendary against a respectable 83 rated team and won 5-2. That wasn't too hard.
Pissing around with some club players to complete the daily/weekly objectives and I've just noticed that some mustachioed Spanish twat at Swansea called Roque Mesa has 89 short passing.

The Swansea/Leon Britton effect.
He's barely played for them but I think did quite well for his previous club in La Liga.
A lot of people were using him as a budget option early on as many felt he was close to Kante in 17 with a shadow card.
Which is fine, but he's one point off Kevin de Bruyne in short passing.
I really need to play all my games one week (I have since the first and that wasnt on Legendary) to see where I end up but after the weekend I have no urge to play the game until around Tuesday/Wednesday.

Any one investing for the MLS SBC? I picked up 7/8 Ashley Cole's last night for under 1k.
Lost 3-0 to a 79 rated side with 52 chemistry. Now that's what I expected legendary to be like. They pummeled me 10-2 in shots. The sort of goals the AI scores on legendary is just insane. Could try 100 times wouldn't score once like them.
EA have activated scream boosts from today (started at 6) until Tuesday at 6pm.

Ben Yedder became my first player to hit 200 goals today - can't wait for a TotGS version of him.
I find it depends almost entirely how the custom tactics have been set. The more they close you down the harder it is. I struggle against heavily defensive led formations as well.
I have the whole league. It appears there version of POTS comes is announced tomorrow which means we could get a special player for that league. Ive been slowly selling my duplicates for 1k,
