How is everyone doing in squad battles these days?
I was going to try and push for Elite 1 this weekend (and I'm on course to do it), but I'm not sure I can be arsed to play another 24 games on legendary over the weekend with the teams I currently have and if the market won't crash that won't be changing anytime soon.

Mine were somehow worse, with the final trolling delivered by getting Hylton as my loan totw.

How has mustafi, got two IF cards? Shouldnt the first card he got in week 1, just be upgraded? I thought that was how the system worked.
Only OTWs and the new PTG Cards get upgraded. That’s why you hear of SIF (second in form), TIF, et al and why the OTW and PTG cards are so much more expensive.

I've been having a look at other Icons who might be worth gearing a team towards and 86 Shevchenko with a Hawk fits the bill. He looks obscene.

Always takes a few days for the ultra-rare NIF players to deflate as they’re not being packed en masse. Also, no prior experience of this, but I’ll speculatively hypothesise - everyone spent their cash and coins on the promo packs, which have now disappeared, so less packs are being opened.
There’s just far more complexity in the market now due to SBCs, and the bigger rewards through FUT Champs, daily rewards, SB etc. Where once (prior to 17) the market simply saw slow deflation throughout the year, with spikes in individual prices caused by TOTW, we now have a complex beast. Even the likes of OTW and PTG cards deflating standard IF cards for those players has had a big impact.
I for one am a fan. Was a far more casual FUT player until last year shaped the economy so and basically encouraged a club building strategy.
Surely its only salah who will win POTM? Few weeks ago, i loaded up on basel players and the whole of the swiss league. There was a basel LB who got an IF yesterday. I bought 8 of them for less than 11k. Hopefully an IF is needed for the swiss league. Sold several basel players for 1.1k this morning. Over 300% profit on each player.
I was going to buy IF ginter a few days ago after but decided not too. Searched again this morning and he is on his SIF at 84. Going for 30k. Might have to test him out. as sule has become very clumsy. Giving away three penalties in two games across the past two weeks.
Went from having just over 500k to just under 100k with various investments. I think i know what im doing now, so it just may work. IF Lewandowski by the birthday of jesus.
