I bought the 83's for under 2k and 84's for under 4k, so nope, will need to wait a bit.
I don't really need the coins at the moment anyway as I'd like to see what TotS players I get from the SBC's before investing anything else in players. In theory we've got another 9 pretty cheap major league ones to do and some decent stuff to come in the RoW ones too.

Legendary still avails enough points to get there and if you're banging in 5 goals a game you'd do it.
Same. Maybe not as weighted as we would have thought. Pretty sure I am the only one who packed Pope on here but I did get 92 Martinez and 90 Giovinco on the last round.

Nah, I bought from all the major leagues, so I will get the profit eventually.
Not sure what to make of Lukaku. I've only played two games with him, but his agility and balance are so shit even with an appropriate chemistry style that 685k is looking too good to turn down.
Oh and he'd probably be much more effective online, but in Squad Battles his strength is nobbled somewhat by the boosts the cpu get in that department.
I've done rather well this week. I've missed either 2 or 3 sets of games and lost 2. But sit nicely on 78k with 30 mins remaining.
Now comes the task of linking Son into the team. Slapping Dembele in the centre should be good. I may also buy Pogba with my winnings. I'm assuming no good pack pulls.
I'd also like to do the SBC again on Wednesday. I need a RW and ST now.

Leaves me with 130k to improve the team. I can put it all on a Pogba, or a new RW/ST.

I haven't yet, but have been tempted, albeit his shooting puts me off a bit.
His jumping is like 40. Cant imagine how he competes with c.ronaldo at the back post. I was tempted to do him but that stat put him off.

A 92 Icon for peanuts was very helpful.

Blimey, promoted to Division 2 for the first time (online seasons) and the first 6 games have ended up in 5-1, 6-2, 10-4, 8-1, 4-0, 4-0 defeats. It's the first time I have noticed a difference in standard between divisions, every other division has felt fairly similar to me.

In the third game I get a quick goal and looking strong. He gets a lucky one from a corner and then all of a sudden he's winning every 50/50, walking past my defence with ease and my De Gea is falling on his arse trying to let them in whilst his De Gea is looking like the best ever.
His second goal was a long ranger right at De Gea who literally palmed it into the net.
I've been trying this myself and fuck me it's hard work. Made the semi's once, been battered twice and in the fourth attempt now I pull a goal back after being 2-0 down, my opponent quits but somehow I don't get the win.
What the fuck is all that about?
Oh and my defending is terrible. My players seem to actively move away from the ball.
It's because the defending type is on tactical.
I'm assuming you changed it to legacy offline and they don't let you have it online.
Yeah, course, but that's the same for everyone.
This is the issue i had. I didnt want two different defnding modes offline and online so i just stuck with tactical. Took a long time to get used to it but im ok with it now
If you ever planned to play online, surely leaving it on tactical and getting to grips with it was the only real way forward.

It took me a few months to learn tactical. Looking back through the thread, it wasn't until early November before most of us were competing with tactical on legendary difficulty.
All Premier League players 82 and up are selling for stupid amounts. I just sold my 82 Fernandinho for 7k. Bailly is back up to 9k and Valencia is back up over 12k. I'm assuming this is people preparing for tomorrows SBC again.
I'm looking at a few new players to the team. I'm currently at this:
Thanks to some trading I've got myself 150k to spend on those 2 spaces. The only problem position I have is Herrera. He's not amazing. However I can go PL regardless with him there. The alternative is to switch the 3 to the Roma 3 whilst I can do it without loss. Nainggolan is a far superior midfielder, but then I lose out slightly on the full back.
I could spend on Pogba and have maybe enough to upgrade 1 of the two forward positions, or I could buy someone like 84 Wilson, with Hazard as a RW on 7 chem. I could also bring in the Birthday Mahrez for up front, or one of his IF cards for RW. The biased fan in me also really wants Firmino. Aguero also an option.
I'm saying all this assuming I get one of the crap cards in tomorrows SBC. Though any of the strikers or right wingers would be very welcome.
Get SIF Mooy to replace Herrera.

Oh and they will overlap for a day iirc. So if you need a TOTS for Prem SBC there should be cheap one in there for you.

My friend (who is currently on holiday) has asked me to do the SBC for him. If he provides me with his X-Box username / password am I correct in saying I can log in (on my console), open up FIFA and have access to his Ultimate Team?
