AD ― He really is a good poster, when he posts. But he could use a haircut.
AE ― Has he BOTTLED the football? What are you doing now, Alb? He’s not a very good poster but that’s not the point; I refuse to give up on my dream of seeing him at an MLS game.
Angel Di Mahowia ― His mugshot was probably his best ever post. I do like Mahow, however much he loves eating dicks. Life seems to have given him a tough hand recently, so it’s hard to get too angry when he complains about stepping on a crack in the sidewalk or doing a bad job of parking. I wish someone would change his name back to normal, though.
Bernanke ― I like Bernanke a lot whenever he posts, but he’s never going to be a truly great poster either. He’s one of the dutiful ones who keeps things ticking over on here, and posting more often wouldn’t go amiss.
Benny ― Seems to hardly ever post these days, and when he does it’s pretty average. Shadow of his former self.
Boydy ― Look, Boydy has his ‘mares, and Jimmy’s putdown against him was one of the sharpest posts of the year. On the whole, though, Boydy is a fundamentally good poster and TTH would be a lot worse without him. The more diverse threads he posts in the better, as far as I’m concerned, as his political views, while I mostly agree with them, can wear old after a while when that’s all he posts about.
Browning ― Good poster. I think. Maybe he should get an avatar or something.
Bruhdinho ― He’s getting there. I think he has the problem, one that I’ve had, of just being too American to be part of a lot of the conversations on here. He should post more about Orlando City.
Byron ― His merge with 7om was a good business move.
Carninho ― Alright, who the fuck is Carninho? That doesn’t even ring a bell in the way that names like Pavel do.
CJ ― Good but doesn’t post enough.
corduroy ― I feel sometimes like the novelty act has worn off with Cord. Even though I know that he’s mostly pretty genuine, the whole intense self-deprecation routine doesn’t seem to make as much of an impression as it did a couple years ago. How’s the old dog?
Dark Soldier ― Have some fucking respect for history and put the dog back in your avatar. Without the dog the last remnants of shit I gave about his posting have gone.
diljeet ― In a over-sensible world where genuine, authentic fuckwittery is hard to find, Diljeet is a heroic poster. He seems like a remnant from the days where every other post on this board needed a
, and our board is much better for it. Never change, never stop confounding all of us.
Dj_Luca ― His posting is still pretty boring, and he’s not winning Nobel Prizes these days, so what’s the point? Well, he’s still great to talk to, so that’s the point for me, but for everyone else, I dunno. He is nice though.
Foe ― Turn that baseball back around, man. You’ll never get that girlfriend if you look like a teletubby trying to be a baller trying to play golf.
FrancisWalsh ― Seems a little less cynical these days. But none the less boring.
Gray Fox ― He’s got to be one of the best new posters we’ve got recently. I’d say he’s my favorite Liverpool fan on here, I agree with most things he says and he comes off without the occasional pretentiousness of GS. He’s also had some of the best avatars on the board, KUTGW.
Hammerstein ― You’ve got to love Hammerstein for all the crazy shit he gets up to. His open-mindedness is impressive, and I like how he presents that stuff here without lolling at it. He does seem liable for the occasional ‘mare, which we all love, really. I dunno. I like Hammerstein.
Harold Flair ― You have to say that his powers of debate have waned steadily for the past few years. It’s almost a relief that he’s now resorted to just posting Youtube videos he agrees with instead of actually thinking for himself. It also lends an irony to all the times he moans about “sheep”, etc. The board was better when he was banned.
Hfswjyr ― Vowels! That’s all.
hydrocephalus ― What the fuck, post more. What are you even doing with your life? I forgot you existed. I still like you, though, which is why you should post more. There's also a chance that he's posting the same amount and I just don't notice his posts anymore. Hm.
Ian ― He’s got to be about the most consistent poster on the board, the one who’s style has changed the least in the last few years. Yeah, he’s really good. He seems like the sort of person who would make a good neighbor, even though in reality I’m not sure he ever leaves his house. He’s finally grown into his Welby-less name, as well.
igor_balis ― Shit-hot.
ItalAussie ― He’s another one who’s stayed pretty much the same. I still enjoy his posts without ever finding them very intriguing. I think partly the subject matter of the board isn’t very well suited to his own interests. He’d don a scientists’ forum.
Jimmy Floyd ― I find him more cryptic these days. Maybe it’s an adverse reaction he’s had to the Koreans, or maybe it’s just me. He’s still the person most capable of real insight on this board, and therefore still one of the best posters on the board. I hope he’ll someday break free from the corporate monster and find something better in life.
John ― I find John pretty boring these days. Whenever his nasty streak returns it’s not nearly as entertaining as it once was, and in the meantime it’s all just a bit dull. But, again, keeps things ticking over. And deserves props for what he’s just done to Taz, fucking hell.
Kikó ― Good in the transfer thread.
LeeCovFox ― One of the best posters on the board, and I’m glad Leicester stayed up. I’ve got to say, there’s something I love about reading about his life. Of all the windows into British middle-class existence that come through this board, his seems the most…I don’t know, decent? Liveable? When most people on here post about their lives it makes me want to immediately drop out of school and hitchhike into South America, out of a fear that I’ll end up like them; but Lee’s life is something I could actually imagine doing. It makes normal, dull, day-to-day life seem alright, when you get to go to Iceland and Croatia on the side, and have a loving wife. And I appreciate that.
Lewis ― I think he’s gotten a little worse, and definitely less funny. A much higher proportion of his posts seem just to be sarcastically imitating anything he doesn’t take seriously, even though, when pressed, I doubt he has much of a problem with these things. Which makes you wonder, what’s the point? At least Harold’s stupid sarcasm has a clear message. I think he also has a slight passive racist streak (there was one disgraceful post on why blacks get picked up by the police more often), but it’s not really worth arguing about. At the end of the day he’s still one of the best posters here, and I find his opinions, when he gives real opinions, on almost anything to be worth reading. And if he were to go the board could collapse in flames, so he’d better not.
Lofty ― I wish he’d post more, the big hero.
Magic ― I’ll admit it: it brings me joy when bad things happen to him. I don’t hate him as a person really, and as a poster he’s gotten much better since those horrible times right after he returned, but still, whenever I see him moaning about something bad happening to him at work, I can’t help but feeling good inside. Sorry.
mf phonics ― Seems to toe the line between decent and stupid. I don’t think he’s actually stupid, but he certainly has his moments. He’s alright.
MokBull ― I find his posting / his general existence to be a lot more relevant to me than most people probably do, so I find his posting less annoying than I probably should. I’ll tell you what, he actually reminds me of a younger, less funny Panda. And he makes me want to go to Stanford.
morris0n ― While the novelty has worn off somewhat, he’s still one of the biggest enigmas on the board. Just what is he playing at?
Multi ― I like Multi’s posting a lot, he always seems very genuine. I wish he’d post more.
niko_cee ― A good old-school Liverpool fun, seems to be posting less these days? Well, he should post more.
Obamert ― I don’t think Mert’s as bad, or I should say as consistently bad, as he once was. He seems to have settled into his identity as frat bro-in-chief, and basically focuses his life on conforming to that, which gives his posting a certain consistency it once lacked, even if it’s the consistency of shit. I’m winning that bet, no doubt.
Offshore Toon ― I dunno what’s going on with Offshore these days, or why he’s barely posting anymore. His posting was always good back in the day so he should get back to it, and back to Haxball as well.
Okay_Amigo ― When he said goodbye in Reykjavik he said, “See you later… on the internet…” I’ll never not like Amigo after meeting him.
Panda Bear ― I appreciate that he’s got to sacrifice himself on the altar of the architecture gods, but I do wish he’d post some more on here.
Pepe ― His average post length has got to be about five words, and one smiley, but given that he’s a quality poster.
Pleb ― I think he’s got a mental disability, so I don’t want to criticize him too harshly. He means well, at least, and he’s improved at Haxball recently, so I’ll leave it at that.
QE Taz ― As I said, Freud would have a field day. His entire life seems to be built upon the practice of repression, repression of anything and everything (like the fact that Roberto Firmino will be shit), and so I guess MELTDOWNs like we’ve just seen shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. But the thing about Taz is that he’s entertaining enough of a poster to make his ban be a genuine loss to the board, and the sooner he’s back the better. I’ll never tire of his language.
Regista ― Yeah, he should post more about his life. Unless his life is boring, which it probably is given the amount of time he spends making the football threads on here. Thanks for always doing that, mate.
Sandman ― Has sold his soul to the corporate devil, it seems, which is a shame if it means he posts less about random obscure films. If he were one of the most active posters on the board I’d be very happy.
Serpent Gazeux ― Has stayed the same, though his posts have lost of a bit of mileage now that he’s got what he wanted in his job.
Simon. ― Seems to be living the dream, honestly. Fair fucking play. If I could switch lives with anyone on here it would be him, no question. He should go to Vienna.
SincereTheRebel ― I like Sincere a lot. He’s like a more likeable, slightly more sensible Diljeet. He’s always, well, sincere, which I like a lot.
The Merse ― I like the Merse, and his life imploding around him was great reading, I have to say. Just… don’t get those fucking tattoos.
The Late Night Thread ― What we need.
7om ― I like him, but his posting is pretty dull. He’s better in Haxball and the like.
Toby ― Needs to stop engaging the likes of Harold to the extent that he does, because there’s literally nothing more boring or soul-crushing to read, on the board or in the entire world, than a debate between those two. Other than that he’s alright.
Utotri ― His mental Eurovision posts are always a highlight of the board, and they seem to get better and more mental by the year. Good Haxballer.
Vim ― He should post more about his university life. Unless it’s completely boring, but he’s got to get up to something. Post more about your life in general, Vim.
Waffelz ― He has improved a lot, though possibly become more unremarkable in the process. I like Waffelz and he, too, should post more.
Yevrah ― Still one of the best posters on the board, no question. I do enjoy his old man’s confusion about things like Twitter.
Most of these seem to be just calling the person boring or telling them to post more, which is either a reflection of the board or just of myself becoming more miserable. Hopefully some of it is still worth reading.
