I'm 10pts up on Fay, with Cooper, Hunt & Adams to play versus Alex Smith & the Minnesota DST for him.
Up until the Fournette TD & the real Eli showing up we just needed to cover Alex Smith's point total & I'd have been in a good position, but now the gap is only 10 there's some pressure on Cooper & Adams to not be a pair of useless fucking cunts this week.

About 20pts up on Fay, and my projections for his guys are 220 yards, 1TD & 35 rushing yards for Smith (18.3pts) and 3 sacks, 2 INTS & 7-13pts allowed for the Vikings (11pts), meaning Kareem is probably going to need to get double figures again for me to have a shot at victory this week.

Gives me much more of a buffer if Alex Smith does well and/or Hunt doesn't now. Up by 28.5pts with Hunt v Smith & Vikings DST.
If I go crazy with projections & give Smith 250 yards passing, 50 rushing & 2 TDs, with Minnesota's DST getting 4 sacks, 3 INTs & a TD while holding Chicago under 14pts, Kareem would need about 19pts to cover that, so assuming Smith falls somewhere between my two projections we should be looking at around 12pts being the goal for Hunt tonight.
Fingers crossed we don't actually need him to score that much in the end, but even if we do it's certainly not an unreachable target. I'm apparently an 83% favourite, but I was higher than that against Pleb a couple of times & look how that one ended up.
Both fantasy teams winning, Eagles win and Cowboys/Giants both lose. Today is a good day.

Find it hard to believe the Vikings won’t score 8pts, so it looks like Fay’s lot are staying undefeated.
Nuk Hopikins has done his best to drag me back into it in my Dynasty league, but I don't think we are overcoming the injuries to Shepherd and Clay. We need 43 points or so from the Vikings DST (the Jags got 35 on my bench....) and Jordan Howard. It's possible, but incredibly unlikely.
My main league is long gone with me being over 40 points down at this point with Diggs left to play Vs Thielen. Even if Thielen gets injured on the first snap and Diggs goes bananas it's not going to be enough.
Also lost in my 4th league, but seem to have won in TTH and the autodraft league. All told, a pretty shite week, barring the dynasty miracle.

The ideal game would be lots of short passes to Howard that get them down the field and then when they get to the 1, constantly throw pick 6s so the Bears never actually score.

Literally woke up at the exact time the game ended. Chicago you are Gods
Needless to say the comeback didn't happen, so we move to 2-3 in Dynasty (that half a point loss in week 1 still looms large) and fall to 6th place. A match up with Fay and his league leading lot is not the way to bounce back.... but I said that last time we faced the league leaders (who are now bottom after we beat them and started a 3 game losing streak).
Despite a horrific week in our main league, we remain 4th and just about in the Play Offs. We were top before this week but dropping to 3-2 is shit. Team seems to have fallen off a cliff thanks to injuries.
Just patched together my main league team for the week and ended up looking like this:
QB- Siemian and Brissett (Mariota comes in if we get any positive news, though not sure for who. Luck being out and Big Ben being old Yeller leaves us really weak here).
WR- Diggs, Allen, Marvin Jones- Not sure why Jones was sitting there on free agency, but anyone against the Saints is worth a punt. Got rid of Taylor Gabriel for him.
RB- Todd Gurley and.... ready for it.... Elijah McGuire- I may well bottle this one because I'm not sure I can play someone so high risk, but if he's the starter Vs the Pats then fuck it.
TE- Reed, because you have to.
Flex- Buck Allen and Agholor- Agholor was another pick up for this week, another punt.
This is a shambles considering how strong we looked coming out of the draft. We had Luck (he'll be back week 3 no worries), Mariota and Ben (perfect cover until Luck was back) at QB, Gurley and the obviously amazing Crowell at RB, Reed at TE and then a WR core of Beckham, Green, Allen and Diggs. Now we're in complete ruin. Just goes to show that drafts really mean next to fuck all.
I'm tempted to use the number 1 waiver in my main league to pick up Sterling Shepherd, seeing as he seems to be back this week, or if not... next week. The league has no weekly waiver wire (which is shite) so you only really need waivers if someone is dropped and then becomes a viable add within that 2 day period. The only problem would be who to drop with Tyrell Williams the only real option on my bench. Alternatively I could drop someone from the starting line up I posted above (so McGuire, Jones or Agholor) but then if Sterling didn't suit up I would have to start Mark Ingram or Crowell this week.
I’d drop Agholor out of those three. Ingram should be fine as a FLEX if needed too.
Just realised I couldn't start Ingram as I already have 3 RBs and for some reason our flex positions are restricted. One is WR/RB and the other is WR/TE. So I could start him over McGuire and drop McGuire but I can't drop Agholor and play him. I'm still tempted to drop Tyrell because I hate playing 2 chargers, Keenan Allen is more than enough, but I guess I could drop Agholor and start Shepherd/Williams.
I'd be leaning towards dropping Williams too.
