Did anyone notice Corbz saying Ep-schtein? Unbelievable scenes.

Brexit was a coup, there's no doubt about that, but Cummings should get no positive credit for a tory majority should one come, he's up against the worst opposition I can ever remember and I still can't believe they agreed to an election.

What a load of shite that was.

Corbyn is hopeless on Brexit, and Johnson will just say any old bollocks he thinks people want to hear (even more so than most politicians).

The questions were crap as well.

Even Corbyn's answer to the fun question at the end managed to be anti-Semitic, a truly magnificent display from the great man.

Boris is a proper buffoon and school bully. I would probably rather have him as PM than Theresa May but only just.

Which is why his ability to be crap at PMQs absolutely baffles me. The situation is made for him and he still trips over his own dick in that. He's surprisingly less witty than I thought.

The buffoon bit hinders him. What I've realised since he became PM is he's actually pretty thick. Learned, but thick. Corbyn is thicker, but it still shows through quite badly.

In the days of Cameron, Brown and Clegg, all three of them were more intelligent than the current two, and we decried that at the time as the worst crop of leaders ever.

Cameron thought he was smarter than everyone and wasn't.
Brown knew he was smarter than everyone and held them in contempt for it.
Clegg was exactly as mediocre as thought and managed not to even hit that bar.

Funnily enough add them all together and you probably get Blair.

In hindsight I think Nick 'Cleggers' Clegg was an intelligent man hell-bent on wasting his own time. Why was he even a Liberal Democrat? And I don't mean 'lol join the Tories'. Why, if you were a pro-European 'centrist' with any sort of ambition, wouldn't you just have joined New Labour at the height of both their popularity and their Euro-mania?

Because the modern Lib Dem is just a non-Eton bred Tory that liked Reggae in sixth form. If politics was a school disco, Cleggers would be against the wall seething at Tony Blair while shouting 'women say that they want nice guys, but really go for men who are jerks'

As expected, Corbyn did slightly better than Johnson in the debate but Johnson did what he had to do - kept on referring to Brexit even in the last question and didn't make any major gaffes. All this means is that the Tories are still on course for a 30-40 seat majority which is my prediction for the election next month.

Did Corbyn do better? Everything I've seen from people who wanted him to do well is that it was a colossal missed opportunity and he made himself look a bit useless while Johnson did his mugging for the crown bit.

I thought he did well and I'm not a fan of the guy. He didn't do well enough to make huge gains in the polls and massively increase his popularity as his supporters might have hoped though.

If I knew that thousands of men between the ages of 12 and 92 were masturbating to the sight of me at 2.10pm every weekday, I reckon I'd go mental pretty quickly.

The Corbyn lot have been all over her for ages iirc as she espouses centrist/Blairite views. Of course they wouldn't give a single fuck if, say, Mark Labbett from The Chase espoused the same views. It pays not to be an attractive woman.

Twitter has gone into such a hysterical meltdown this election that I genuinely fear for the mental health of some prominent figures in the arts and creative world if Boris wins a majority (Armando Ianucci, I'm looking at you).

If Jezza somehow wins a majority or forms a government then my take will be fair enough, crack on old boy. I don't understand the bile going around either from the Brexit will of the people weirdos, or the remain loons.

I recently stopped following Ianucci, Baddiel, half the Guardian sports writers, and a few other comedians.

My Twitter feed is so much more refreshing and positive.

I don't think the Brexit Party standing down makes too much of a difference, maybe in a couple of marginals but nothing beyond that.

My thinking behind my prediction is pretty simple, at the last election the Tory manifesto had very little positive things in it and they've definitely improved on that. They almost got the majority last time and this time they will.

He was monstrously wrong about where he appears in the list of earners, but bang on about PAYE.

Depending on what the increases are nobody who is seriously rich will be paying them, leaving those who aren't (but are still on a bloody good wage) to carry the can.

Or in other words, it won't work.
