I like the one Phonics posted best. Get a donation page up and we'd be at $35 in no time.
Though it might be best to get one that's more customizable as our tastes (*cough* Toby) seem to vary a fair bit.
I'll go with whatever others choose, although the option to keep this one would be nice as I really like it now.
Think I've already said it but there was a nice skin when we were setting things up and testing. Can't remember the name though, soz @phonics
White text on black will burn your eyes.
I'm starting to really like this one. Even if the main post background was a slight off-white instead of white then it'd be spot on.

Style-wise though its nice.
Think it's just a money > benefit ratio. You're paying 30-50 bucks for something relatively minor only for not very many people to pirate it off you. So you don't bother.
This one feels modern with nice fonts and the blue is good. Just need the white to be a light grey so it doesn't burn. Most of the other themes seem really windows 95 and the fonts are really blocky and old school.
Isn't there a way to create your own skins? We could have as many options as we wanted then.
Why don't we create one with GoodRead Widgets built in?

+1 one for a bit darker skin if possible. The current one isn't all that bad, but I would prefer something sligthly less luminous.
Get the pre-2005 skin back in action

Alternatively you could edit Metro-Forum.xml and do Replace All
withCode:background-color: #f2f2f2;
which would change the light grey that serves as the background to peoples avatars on the right, to a slightly darker grey.Code:background-color: #D3D3D3;
Then Replace All
withCode:background-color: #ffffff;
To change the white to the old grey colour.Code:background-color: #f2f2f2;
