Doesn't Wilder keep talking about wanting to kill somebody in the ring? Would be quite fitting if his corner let him get his head caved in.

You have to hold your L and keep it pushing. The corner did nothing wrong. You have to protect the cash cow. Wilder is just looking for excuses. There seems to be similarities between AJs first defeat and Wilder's where both of them just didn't seem right as soon as their opponent landed the first punch. AJ directly didn't start making all these crazy excuses.

    Fuck him

"According to an article in The Observer, McClellan participated in dog fighting.[14][15]McClellan's trainer and family admitted that McClellan was involved with fighting pitbulls, and on one occasion had used tape to bind the jaws of a Labrador shut before allowing his pet pitbull "Deuce" to kill it"

Its weird for me, because ofm, not an animal lover at all. I don't own and never will own an animal. Yet, I read stories like this and have seen some awful videos on animal cruelty and it really bothers me. Yet, i can watch a man saw off another mans head of 10 minutes and watch it like its nothing. While eating cereal at the same time.

    Why would you, though?

We'll pretend for a minute that that's not the behaviour of a fucking deviant because I'm curious as to why.

    https://www.theguardian.com/sport/bl...on-fury-boxing

In other ways it’s a puzzle that Deontay’s gone for this line of mitigation. When David Haye claimed his 2011 defeat by Wladimir Klitschko was down to a broken little toe, he was widely pilloried, despite standing on a table to display the toe in question for the news cameras. Wilder may or may not have been aware of this pillorying when he produced his own whys-and-wherefores.

Then again, there is still time for him to reveal a broken little toe’s part in his downfall on Saturday night, and thus unify the biggest excuses in boxing. Arguably that would also involve some kind of rehash of Mike Tyson’s 10th-round KO by Buster Douglas in Tokyo in 1990. That, you might recall, was credited by Tyson to the excesses of his sexual diet. Or as Mike put it: “I was fucking them Japanese girls like I was eating grapes.”

Cringeworthy. Why the quasi-theatrics with the delivery? He sounds like a right pecker.

Why wouldn't he? It is understandable. He has won 2 of the 20 rounds so far. He needs to get it together.

Hopefully, Fury keeps is together. Last time he was on top of the world, he fell off very bad and went AWOL for a few years.

Maybe the hood on his head was too heavy and it is affecting his delivery.

Fury isnt getting the credit he deserves and glovegate is in full swing. I hope someone is watching Fury because he could fall over again.

Edit: More weirdness that indicates Fury cheated

    Lucky.

Dillian put Povetkin on the floor twice in the round before and Povetkin was looking like he was slowing down.

Yeah, it was lucky in the sense that it was exactly what he needed in a fight he looked to be losing, but it was perfectly set-up and executed.

It was such a brilliant finisher. The sky commentators, as usual, were going over the top on the ineffectiveness of Povetkin but Whyte did look comfortable. Brutal uppercut, amazing.
