My wife gave birth to our son (by c-section) yesterday, and as happy as I am with the addition, this is fucking tough.
So, having your body cut in half to get a person out of you, turns out that’s quite tough. Turns out your body doesn’t work properly for a while. Turns out a 2 year old doesn’t get this. Turns out she still wants to climb on mum. Turns out mum could be hospitalised again if she does. Turns out this upsets 2 year olds. Turns out my wife can’t feed baby without my help. Turns out I struggle under this sort of pressure. Turns out not being able to help upsets my wife.
