3 Pokemon weak to Psychic leaves me worried. I had an Umbreon planned but Bill's Eevee fell at some point before the Ghost gym and the next Dark type would be Houndour and Murkrow in Kanto, so it seems Gengar will have to be my go to guy for killing any Alakazams in my path. Anything useful I should keep an eye for in the next few routes?

I really need to finish my Moon Nuzlocke, but I have no drive for the required E4 grinding.

Didn't get to use Haunter yet but his ability to pass through Pokemon sounds awesome.
Edit: Just used him against someone who didn't know he had that ability, he thought his goal was locked down and Haunter just strolled in.
How did you get the EX ones?
I can't ever find an opponent, it just searches for ever.

I lost my first match today in a room battle (christ it took so much longer than a league/regular/just hit play battle), the guy had a pretty beastly deck. One of his Pokemon seemed to get multiple rolls on attacks every single time.
Booster packs? Did you have to buy them?
My deck seems pretty shit. I don't have anything good that can move 3 spaces which seems a massive disadvantage. Just hitting play takes me about 10 minutes to find a match.

I always end up chucking a few quid at free games if I like them/think I'll enjoy them.
They cost 300 gems I think so you can grind to buy it and the boosters give you 6 characters and some card things with at least 1 EX Pokemon.
I just tried playing now and I couldn't find anything in 5 minutes so sacked it off.
I currently have 600 gems so may have to look at them. Is there anything else to spend gems on?
Just won a match because the guy had a Bellsprout on his goal spot that kept getting purple moves so I couldn't beat it. I then move my Scyther into position so I could surround him and he attacked my Machamp to prevent it, got Sweet Scent which pulled Scyther closer and killed himself.
1 win and 1 loss in my matches today so I only have 4 of the 10 points. I lost to some dude who had Jolteon and just blitzed through me in about 3 turns. I hate when stuff like that happens.

Yea, it seems like it. I wasn't able to open it properly but I have both in my inventory and still have 300 gems as I was only able to purchase one. I'm getting nowhere with trying to buy a 2nd though, keeps booting me to the title screen.
I really want to get a Taillow as there's an early mission that needs him. I was so sure he'd be one of the mission prizes but constantly not getting him has annoyed me. I don't need 7 Fletchlings and 5 Beedrills.

How do you do a "room" match. My phone just keeps saying something about "GPS settings".
Open the menu for messages (button to the right of the big play button) and it's in that drop down menu thing.
Yea, but when I click on it it just says "Unable to find a room, please check GPS settings" or some shit. No idea how that could be an issue.
Tried out my EXs in a match. Genosect is amazing, Greninja is decent, Manaphy is a bit shit but works well with Greninja. Undecided on if I'll keep Manaphy in the deck.
Looks like Genosect is one of the best Pokemon in the game, based on the fact there's a whole bunch of "plates" that only work with Genosect. What a boss.
Got a Charizard which is cool but will be hard to use as he's a one move.
Just lost my first duel because of a stupid rookie mistake.
Assuming you still have Charmander I would be tempted to buy a Charmeleon and set up the evolution chain.
It's easy to do just put Charmander in your deck and when he's in click the two dots underneath him on the edit figures page.
He can move 3 and I would assume Charmeleon is 2 so it would give you more freedom over where Charizard goes.
You can only evolve once your 'mon has taken someone down. If your Charmander is pants, you might never see Charmeleon let alone Charizard.

It started well for me, last 6 hours or have been trash.
I had a mammoth game earlier, took about 12 minutes or so, sadly I lost as I was a bit too defensive. Was my favourite game thus far though.
I just had a BS "time up loss" despite never in a million years taking that much time. Something fishy is going on with it every match and it's pissing me off.
It didn't help that I actually landed on my opponents goal during the match but I was surrounded when I did and died. When did it ever say being surrounded took priority over winning?
I definitely prefer attack to defence. Block their entry points and you are solid.
Had 2 matches today and won both after bizarre moves from my opponents.
In the first I moved into position to win and his only choice was to battle me with Ho-Oh and hope he got the kill. Instead he moved Ho-Oh away. Maybe he was giving up, but it felt weird as the KO would have sent me back to square one.
The second was better though. He had a Lucario one square past his entry point and I planned to jump over it. The turn before my jump he moved a Sliggo (sp?) off his bench from the other side. This meant if I jumped over Lucario he could move Sliggo into a position where he was 1 square away from surrounding me (and blocking the goal), giving me essentially 1 turn to kill either Lucario, Magmortar or Sliggo or else he would surround me. I fully expected him to either do that or engage me in battle using Lucario or Magmortar. Instead, after I jumped he switched Sliggo with Leafeon. I know Leafeon could move that extra square and thus kill me by surrounding, but he didn't get the chance as I just strolled to the goal.
My deck is shaping up but I'm not sure who the 6th guy should be. Currently have:

Lapras is basically kept for the boost provided by Manaphy. I bought another pack today and got a 2nd Genosect EX and a Mew EX in it. Mew is, unfortunately, a bit shit. Right now I have a Jolteon (Rare) in that final spot but I barely ever move him off the bench. I need to find something useful.
Can someone tell me what the Cubes do? I know there are some you can sell and some that give you EXP, but I mean the ones that are like "Cube R" or "Cube C" and don't seem to do anything.
Picked up a Ho-oh and Lugia but can't select either. Any ideas?
What do you mean can't select them?
If they aren't there at all, go to messages and claim them. You may need to fusion some mons to make space.
You are right. Pretty annoying because you have to spend coins to get rid of Pokemon.
You can sell Pokemon for coins if you don't want to fusion them.
I've only just found out about the whole 'story' bit, I honestly just thought it was duels and room matches only.
I got an EX Snorlax today in my 6 packs and not much else. I've rejigged my deck up slightly because of my decent plates.

Plates are: 2x Hurdle Jump (can jump over an enemy pokemon), Pokemon switch and X Attack.
Feel like that gives me a balanced team, I feel like it's prepared for longer fights but can go in there and grab some quick wins too thanks to the three 3 steppers and the hurdle jump plates.

Hurdle Jump is the best, I use it every match.
One of the missions required Mudkip and I forgot to take him out after and he's bossed a few matches for me thanks to Manaphy powering him up. I fucking love Manaphy. I just stick him at the back and let him make Greninja, Lapras and now Mudkip (until I boot him) stronger. I wish I had a water type I could evolve.
Shuppet is the most used? Strange, I have him, but have not used him. He's awful except for his walk through people ability.
He's one of only two that has 3mp (Gastly being the other).

Edit: Regarding Taillow, it seems it's RNG from boxes. He's not in the material exchange shop which is balls.

In the 3rd tower there are 3 levels in a row that require Taillow. It's fucking stupid.
Oh and the level in tower 2 (I think) that needs Pikachu for some reason doesn't work with the Rare version.
Seem to be facing the same team every time I play now. Lapras, Venusaur, Jigglypuff, Darkrai and 2 Poliwags. Which has led to me losing a lot. Getting kind of bored now.
I came across a mental team just before bed last night.
It was something like Latios, Lugia, Latias, Rayquaza, Lucario and another.
Needless to say, I got fisted.
But the prick wanted to win by time or whatever but I kept managing to just keep in the fight. After a while he ended it in frustration so I guess I got a moral victory.

I want one so bad. I cleared all the missions multiple times to get every spinner prize thinking he HAD to be one... he wasn't.
That doesn't sound bad. I have Lapras and he's alright but nothing special (he's better with Manaphy). Poliwag is presumably shit other than moving a lot (don't have him though so not sure) and Venusaur can only move 1 so he's easy to avoid. Is one Darkrai that much of a problem?
The problem was the sleep spam. They had re-roll cards too in order to have two chances to put my figures to sleep and then jump over them and quickly bear down on goal.
