Playing so many games in such short order is idiotic. What's the point? None of these are actual lions teams. If you have to have a midweek schedule, then it needs to be against suitable opposition. Leave the test team to play the weekends.

As shambolic as that tour was they were always going to get murdered, so I don't know what input the schedule/set-up had. I have fond memories of Austin Healy's midweek trolling extravaganza back in 2001.
Splitting the teams kills motivation, if the midweek guys can't play themselves into a test spot (and vice versa) then what's the point?
