Is the Aussie woman's fur coat some kind of cultural appropriation as well? Is she part-mink?

This Chris Kaba stuff is peak silly bollocks. How did that even end up in court? Every police officer should just quit.

I don’t know where else to post this but felt the need to vent my amusement. There’s a brother and sister on the school run. She’s called Cayenne, he’s called Brian.

The more you read into this Chris Kaba case, the more mental it is that there was ever a criminal charge brought. Would like to think that things might be different today now that the full-on insanity of the BLM era is fading.

Mr Kaba's cousin Sheeda Queen said the family was "devastated" by the outcome.

"The acquittal of Martyn Blake isn't just a failure for our family but for all those affected by police violence," she said. "Despite the verdict, we won't be silenced."
You need it, don't you, Sheeda? The police violence. Without it, you'd have to face up to reality.

I'm probably being hard on Sheeda there. The real bad guys are the campaigning lawyers using her and people like her as sock puppets.

The CPS charging meeting must have been quite lol.

"Erm, he's tried to run a copper over and the other firearms guy says he was about to shoot him himself."

Yeah, but, you see, black lives matter . . .

Wait, he'd also shot someone himself in the days immediately prior?

I don't really know much about the internal workings of the CPS but can only think there must have been unreal levels of political pressure/influence on it, probably from our old pal the mayor.

I honestly don't know how the police put up with it. I'd have quit long before this. Talk about a thankless job.

The other problem is the profitability of talking bollocks about these issues. There's people on twitter going mad about the verdict who have previously wanted the police to raid the houses of people who disagreed with them on twitter

Deborah Coles, director of charity Inquest, said: “It is difficult to reconcile the verdict with the evidence heard at the trial and the shocking reality of an unarmed black man being shot in the head.

“It is clear from our work that when the police kill, they seek to operate above the law.

“This verdict must not now be used by the police lobby to further dilute police accountability.

“We know that Chris’s death is not an isolated case but part of systemic racism and stereotyping that equates black men with dangerousness.

“For decades, black men have disproportionately been killed by the police.

“However, the conviction of one police officer does not stop the violence, racism and misogyny entrenched in police culture and practice.

“Real justice and accountability is when the deaths and harms of policing stop.

“To achieve this, we must urgently redirect resources away from police and into communities.”
I'm trying to construct the world that this idiot imagines she's living in. Calling him 'unarmed' when he was trying to run people over with an enormous car is outrageous, for a start.

Member of a gang, lengthy record, implicated in a shooting immediately prior, trying to run police officers over. Sometimes you've got to say there's some personal responsibility at play here.

It doesn't help, I don't think, that people don't generally appreciate that armed officers are trained to shoot to kill, for the very reason that they should only shoot if they think there is an imminent threat to life. This wasn't some random yankee style stop and search execution.

What's particularly fucked is that the media were banned from reporting what a piece of shit the deceased is, but they were perfectly able to bang on about institutional racism within the policeforce. The Officer involved will in all likelihood lose his job regardless now, even if it is via a sideways step into another (non-frontline) job, because he will be treated as if he was guilty anyway, such is the level of earth salting that went on.

He should demand an inquest into the decision to prosecute really.

Have these SJW's responded to the fact he shot someone in the run up to his death? I ask because how does that reconcile with this?

We know that Chris’s death is not an isolated case but part of systemic racism and stereotyping that equates black men with dangerousness
I mean, in this case, it seems clear as day that he absolutely was.

Deborah Coles could really do with the Andrew Neil treatment.

Sadiq made this tweet when the officer was referred to prosecutors in March 2023 (not charged, that was later):

My thoughts are with Chris Kaba’s loved ones today. His death has had a huge impact on Londoners, and in particular Black Londoners. Anger, pain and fear has been felt across communities, along with a desire for change and justice.
If the fucking mayor is saying that before you've even been charged with anything, how can there ever be justice? And of course Sadiq must have known full well that CK was a bad guy at the time he tweeted that as well.

This is something that needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency given the state of the population. Keep sticking it to the old.

There is no legal age to stop driving in the UK and Mrs Duncan had renewed her driving licence earlier in the year.
Yeah, fuck that. The fact you can presumably just fill a form in to renew your driving licence, totally unchecked, at such an advanced age is absolutely insane.

Fuck taking a "cognitive test" or whatever as well. If you want to keep driving at that age you can pass your test again or hand the license over. Although I imagine the line of driving instructors who would be willing to take the doddering old cunts out for re-testing would be a very small one.

Just get them to do a lap of the top gear test track seeing as it's no longer in use. Could send them off 6 at a time for extra lolz, only the top 3 get their licences renewed.

Saw a bloke tip his electric wheelchair just getting on the bus today. Took three people ('cos I'm mostly useless in these situations) to get him upright. His head was bleeding but the old fella wanted nowt to do with an ambulance. There's a stubbornness with the old that you need to conquer to stop them driving.

The simple explanation is that these people are pro-crime, especially when black people are doing the crimes, because they can only conceive of crime being down to a comparative lack of opportunities. Until the Chris Kabas of the world have every opportunity afforded to them, their crimes are entirely natural and rational, and anyone/thing attempting to stop them is oppressive.

Where does it end? Is the black Levi Bellfield (or the white one, for that matter) doing his crimes because of a lack of opportunity? Or is shooting people in nightclubs OK because of racism, but raping and dismembering women isn't? We need a clear set of guidelines.

The BBC coverage of the story today is led by this: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3dvdmzxz82o

Feels like a proper sand-shifting moment to me in terms of a fundamental rupture taking place between the hoi polloi and normal people.

    https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndoh/pr...ney-laundering

Sir Maejor Page, 35, of Toledo, has been sentenced to 42 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Helmick after a jury convicted him of wire fraud and money laundering for defrauding donors of more than $450,000 that they collectively gave to his nonprofit “Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta” (BLM of Greater Atlanta) based on Page’s false representations. He was also ordered to pay a $400 special assessment fee.
Page used the donations to BLM for his own personal benefit. He purchased entertainment, hotel rooms, clothing, firearms, and a property that he intended to use as his personal residence. He attempted to conceal the purchase of the property by using the name “Hi Frequency Ohio” and asked the seller to sign a nondisclosure agreement that would have prevented the seller from listing Page as the actual buyer.

I like the Vaping association's comment at the end that children will be turned to the black market, like it's not the fact they are so readily available in the first place that's the issue.

The government plans to introduce legislation to ban the sale of disposable vapes from 1 June 2025, allowing retailers time to sell their remaining stock.

I like the fact that a black market springing up is used as a reason not to ban something.

Where does that logic end? Organ Transplants? FGM? Suicide? Rape? All illegal. All have black markets. Would the Vaping Association support the legalisation of these practices?

Michael Buerk laying the smack down:

He said on Radio 4's Today show: "I think it's really different. I'm looking at television in particular... There was more of an appetite for seriousness."

He went onto explain his point: "It was only last week I think this programme decided that the most important thing that happened in the world was that a drugged-up faded boyband singer had fallen off a balcony.

"Even the 10 o'clock news which normally are good on these things thought it was the second most important thing that had happened in the world.

"And I think there was a wider agenda or wider appetite if you look at the news these days, they seem to be hammering away at the same half dozen stories. While whole continents go unmentioned for month after month."
    Someone call 999.

I once went to a pub where a man was selling meat and cheese from his coat pockets. I assume he had just robbed it and needed the money for some gear.

Why are we giving these mooks the time of day? Why do we give a fuck what St Kitts and Nevis think about the slave trade?

3 of the top 10 slave holding countries today are in the commonwealth of course and none of them is the UK.

In similar paedo news, I'm all for this AI paedo getting locked up, but where is the logical limit of this stuff? If I draw a really realistic picture of some naked child is that a crime? If AI generates something in the style of a renaissance master which has naked children, is that a crime? This is straight out of Brass Eye again, isn't it? Yep, 16:54 in the paedo special.

https://www.404media.co/email/bdb85a...-688059d94faf/ this was a pretty interesting read about why AI CSAM isn't a victimless crime.

And yes you should be locked up.
