This is an interview about that Tavistock centre if half the stuff he says is true, then heads need to roll.

I'm only five minutes in and up to now I thought the "experimenting" on kids thing was a somewhat sensationalist take, but it appears not. Fucking hell.

Facebook took this guys page down that he states was just posting objective clinical facts, from which people could use to assist their decision. This is somehow even worse than I thought and is absolutely blowing my mind.

"Political belief and ideology over rational scientific argument"

A worse use of science than some of the absolute drivel spouted during COVID.

Luckily we know that the slippery slope fallacy is exactly what the name suggests, otherwise you would have to question why certain people are so keen to entrench the idea that kids can make informed decisions.

I knew there'd be at least one major thing in my lifetime that we'd look back on in decades to come and think what in the fuck were we doing? What I didn't realise was that I'd be able to work out what it was before I died.

But it's this, absolutely no question about it.

Gender-affirming care, baby. Imagine the lols to be had if we applied that standard to all healthcare.

I figured that they must have been caught up in their [step]dad being attacked, but it being completely random is a bit of a weird one. Why would you try to force your way into a house? It seems like something that would slow you down for very little protection.

My question was "why the fuck would you open the door upon hearing gunshots and a load of agro in the street?"

Would you know what a gunshot would sound like? I’d definitely have had a nosey to see what the noise was. Maybe use the window in future.

I have a rule in life that's developed over the last few years. Never open the door unless you're expecting someone you want to see. At absolute best it'll be hassle.

I assumed she heard a noise and opened it to see what the fuss was and then the geezer running from the gun notices and beelines for the door. Don’t think she was letting him in

A better rule: keep your door locked at all times. There are enough chancers who try door handles never mind shit like this spilling into your house.

The ring doorbell is the curtain twitcher's dream ticket if you are that nosey.

Well, the alternatives are some kind of explosion (to which the same answer applies), a car backfiring or a firework (neither of which are worth your attention).

So yeah, maybe have a little look out the window, but opening your door to what could be a gun - in fucking Liverpool of all places - is just silly.

Lots of revisionism about the pandemic/lockdowns today I see - Sunak's also said that scientists were given too much credence at the time. The school's thing is moot - many schools were having to close or partially close due to staff absence before the official closures.

Will Quince seems to be trying to piss off every headteacher in the country today by spouting this made up nonsense about schools having to close 1-2 days a week and then saying schools need to find the money in their existing budget to pay for fuel price increases.

Everything these days is revisionist because people only have the ability to think in the short-term.

It doesn't seem like the October energy price cap increase will wash but everyone stomached the April one "because Ukraine" even though the warning signs have been there for years with regards to selling off domestic reserves and Europe relying on just-in-time deliveries from a notoriously sketchy nation because they remained cheap. Any voter with a memory span longer than a week should be looking to punish these cunts for their 12 years of corruption and neglect, but no doubt their mates on Fleet Street will run a headline that will make them all forget and the "but look at the alternative" argument will prevail once more which is obviously inane.

He also declared a national holiday on Friday to allow Argentines time to "express themselves in defence of life, democracy and in solidarity with our vice president".
It would take about ten dead royals for us to get an emergency bank holiday, and these cretins get one for a misfiring gun.

President Fernandez, former president Fernandez and her husband, also a president Fernandez, corruption, defrauding the state, sounds like Liverpool and its mayors.
