Right, I want 2 minutes of doorstep clapping for Callum tomorrow tonight you ungrateful bastards.
Right, I want 2 minutes of doorstep clapping for Callum tomorrow tonight you ungrateful bastards.
I'm going to set fire to a car in his honour.
I did one yesterday this morning, does that count?
He means last morning.
No, next morning but only after the last one.
This weekend or next?
Are you talking about 930 or 1030 ?
The details of that Sarah Everard murder are pretty grim. If that isn't a whole life order then they need to lower the threshold.
Yeah, "grim" is exactly the word that came to mind when I read it. He clearly can't be let out.
Hope he gets absolutely terrorised in prison.
The details of the case a grim enough. Then you find out he was nicknamed 'the rapist' when he was working for the CNC driving round the M25 starkers and flashing people, generally making women around him feel uncomfortable and the Met sign him up and give him a prestige role.
Back on the weekend thing, that was actually the plot of an episode of Apple and Onion [child owners may recognise if they are fortunate] tat I saw the other day, which caused me to raise an eyebrow.
As to the other thing, some sort of life long experience of being put through a wood chipper [obviously I guess that experience would be about as long as was left of your life but you get what I mean] sounds about right for that chap.
The more I hear about Sarah Everard's murder, the more I'm creeped out by it. Opportunist cunt. Although any copper handcuffing you over Covid bullshit would've sent immediate alarm bells.
Coming from a police family as I do, someone using handcuffs as an accessory in a murder will properly send shivers down spines. About 90% of the force would be bringing the rotten fruit to the hypothetical gallows.
Proof if it were needed that you don't trust the filth.
Bit harsh, Jim and I have had our differences but I've always thought he seems trustworthy.
I'm always a bit confused by these 'Male Violence' narratives. Have I misunderstood them, or are they ultimately predicated on the assumption that men - Men - are somehow uneducated on this stuff, and that women get battered and killed because because people don't know any better, and society, etc. It seems to me that you could put us all through two years of mandatory consent and anti-violence training and the likes of him would still do things like that, because that's literally what makes him a criminal.
Male violence has been going on a while. It used to be how everyone got fed, before Uber Eats.
He pretended he was arresting her on COVID breach grounds is the crux of it. Cuffed her and got her in the car and then obviously didn't take her down the nick.
He told her he was arresting her for a breach of the covid regulations, handcuffed her, put her in a car, raped her, killed her, burned her, put her into bags and buried her.
All in all, I wouldn't be surprised if the judge errs on the side of a custodial sentence.
As fucked up as that is, I'm not sure it's in the same order of magnitude as some (if not all) of the names on here.

Maybe him being a police officer changes things.
This exchange made me lol the other day:
How is that conversation meant to go exactly?
"Yeah, glad you're well Uncle Bob, it's been nice catching up... before I go, you've not been stalking and raping women have you? No? Phew! Because you do realise I would be opposed to that, right? Yeah... yeah. REALLY opposed... anyway sorry I interrupted dinner, keep your hands off the Chicken legs you dirty bastard. Laters"
I don’t get the ‘grim’ness of it either. Yeah it’s horrendous obviously but every time you hear of something like this they’re generally raped and murdered so it’s not really that different. Especially for a group of people that lol at death on a daily basis.
It's not the rape and murder that makes this more grim than the usual cases, it's the "copper casually able to kidnap a woman with witnesses who wouldn't have thought to do anything about it because he's a copper" bit.
He'll get life minimum 40 years or something, and the twitterati will be up in arms for a few hours.
Fine, strike one sentence from that post.
It is the fact he was a copper abusing his power that amps it up. If you or I saw this on the street and thought it was awry we would have been unable to do much about it I assume, unless you were willing to call his bluff.
In the past, especially in the states there have been killers posing as police officers to commit similar crimes but for it to be the actual police officer doing it is an order of magnitude worse.
I can't imagine Giggles putting a stop to it. "What's that officer, she's skirting Covid laws? Give her one for me. Burn her body when you're done."
I imagine the only card to pull is kick off and give it the 'best call for back up then eh?' But if he's legit you're properly fucked.
And even then, if the wrong passer-by turns up they'd help him control you.
Have to go turbo cunt and live stream it, style out the stigma when you're safely at home.
He also had a history of flashing and was nicknamed "the rapist". He could/should have been stopped before it got this far.
Sorry, what?
That the conflating of wolf whistling and cat calling (that I shouldn't need to add are both absolute dickhead things to do) with rape and murder, as if they were on a spectrum was a nonsense, but perhaps a convenient nonsense for the powers that be as none of those things are problems that can be solved on Twitter, but did divert some focus from the fact the met had a copper running around doing vile things in plain sight on a watch that seemingly allowed it.
Sorry you’re saying that it’s #MeToos fault that the Metropolitan Police hired a flasher nicknamed ‘The Rapist’ and gave him a sub machine gun because they can’t tell the difference between a perverted headcase and a guy who’s a bit too forward because they’re too concentrated on what people on Twitter(a minority percentage of the population) say?
Got to say, that’s not a great review of the Met.
They probably didnt even want to murder Mark Duggan in cold blood and then plant a pistol on him but Twitter told them he was a bad man so they just shot him 7 times.
The metropolitan police is an awful collection of corrupt officers who protect their own going back to before Jimmy Saville was molesting kids under their watch.
And I'm saying it was entirely the fault of the met for letting a headcase carry a badge and that this seems to have been lost in the noise somewhat, or at least was at the time.
