Well, moving to London has killed FIFA for me. 6 mbps, 20 sec ping is the best I can get in my block, so P2P and FUT Champs is ridiculously unplayable.

I'll be moving out at some stage in the new year I imagine (probably in with the gf), so I'll do a bit more due dilligence on whether there's fibre when it comes to looking for another place.

Abandoned the multiple teams method due to getting fucked off at coming up against super teams online and standing even less chance than normal. Sold TOTY Messi (taking a pretty big hit) and decided to build a team utilising better versions of players Premier League players I was already comfortable using.

Still a WIP in terms of finalising the squad and I'll whack it up when it's done, but suffice to say 90 Son is a close to a cheat player as I've used in this game. Phenomenal.

Never tried the 89 but I got on really well with the 88.

I was doing a 4-2-2-2 pre-game before switching to a 4-3-2-1 in game to take advantage of chemistry so I needed someone who was a CM/CAM who was effective on the wing. Didn't get to use him for many games but he was a handful for defenders in each of the games I used him in.

The 89 looks grand if you do the same or put him just behind a striker.

Only downside is the lack of finesse shot trait which is what makes Son amazing though.

Depends on what the rest of your team is and how good you are at defending.

If, like me, you're a bit shit go for Can as he's brilliant. If you want a bit more of an attacking option definitely go for Mkhi.

Also, I've missed Lewandowski so much. 22 goals in 16 matches with 5 assists since I bought the don back.

Hoping that if/when I win the DKT I either pull his 98 or manage to get someone that I can sell to fund him. I'll probably get the cheapest one.

Nearly all of the TOTS players are at least good, the issue comes trying to get them into a team and the amount you pull from obscure leagues (that make that a nightmare) is unreal.

I had another three cracks tonight and pulled another three shit ones, with only one walkout. I could put them back in, but I think I'm done too - The reward weighting on good cards from the untradeable TOTS SBC vs the tradeable one (where I had no problem pulling half decent and useful players) is so skewed.

After twice losing in the final of the DKT I finally finished it off. Opened my TOTS reward right there and got exited when I saw Chile. Even more so when it said ST. The disappointment when it was Paredes and not Sanchez, I can't describe.

I decided to turn my unused DKT players in for the tradeable SBC. The good thing is I got away with using 2 full squads of my red FUT champs rewards. I figured it's at least 20k back in discard per player, without putting any coins towards it so why not?

First pack I sent Nacho and Rudy. Got a Bruma back from it. I'll be sticking him on the bench. Him coming on late in games should lol past tired defenders.

For my second pack I traded Callejon and Gylfi in. This happened:

In shitter news, I've just pulled an IF from the worst TOTW ever.

I'm trying to sell him for 600k+ while he's going for that. Only 8 of him on the market right now so it's a maybe. Could add 2/3 players if my plan works out.

Sold for 620k. Comfortably the best pull I've ever had on any FIFA. My 88 Mertens was 700k at the time but he's untradeable. Brings me up to 740k to spend.

I had tried 88 Eriksen as my left CM, shifting Herrera over to the centre, but I was struggling. It's very attacking and Eriksen is clearly a CAM, not a CM. If Herrera went on beyond the ball and I lost it, I was screwed.

Just a case of where I want to spend the cash. I can afford all of the TOTS CAMs as well as looking at 89 Mkhitaryan and 92 Hazard. That'd still leave me enough for a version of Emre Can or Kanté for the middle CM.

Plenty of other options on where to go too.
