The media are a total snore about it but then I imagine any team with one accomplishment to their name are the same.
It gets brought up in conversation as a stick to beat the English with than it does by your average English football fan in my experience.
No interest in watching the documentaries and shit about it that keep getting cranked out.

You won a World Cup. Like any of the rest of us wouldn't be celebrating it still if our lot had. I'd be balls deep in everything about it if we had.
The BBC have had some decent stuff on the go for it. Radio 2 had a musical thing earlier that was pretty decent, and 5Live had an hour-long show where members of the squad narrated the tournament from their point of view.
My old man saw England win the World Cup; absolutely fuck all chance of any of us doing so. Bastard.
