I've taken the one week hit and subbed Richarlison in for Walcott. I had planned to do it after the update, but I'm fearful of a price change for Walcott with this phantom injury he may or may not have and their prices are aligned at the moment. So, get Walcott on triple captain duties as he's bound to have a career best gameweek.

Swapped Azpi for Mendy, who is apparently the PL assist leader, which meant that I had to get rid of a City player. Out went David Silva, in came Ozil. Let’s see how this one goes.

Swapped the former for Dunk just before the deadline, and Milner stealing on for a waste of time sub appearance keeps them on the bench.

After getting overly positive about Arsenal picks in pre-season I've since reverted to type and have started backing whoever is playing Arsenal when we have a big game. Worked a treat in Arsenal 1 - 1 Liverpool where my 3 LFC guys got a total of 5 points or something. Had to use a free hit for that though so this time I took a 4 point hit and I've somehow ended up with actually quite a reasonable team.

Managed to keep Ings on the bench in my draft team with a rare 20 minute sighting of the lesser spotted Mesut Ozil.
Although it didn't matter as I'd still have lost, only by a more infuriating margin.

I'm having a surprisingly good year in the main game (well inside the top million which is uncharted territory for me) but now comes the hellish nightmare that is the Christmas run. Does anyone have a way of hacking Guardiola's phone or something so I know when to stand down Raheem?
My idea is to warp the team a bit during the holidays to avoid mostly City players. Still sticking with Hazard and Kane for now as I reckon they will maybe only miss one round of games (Boxing Day?).

I've definitely held on to Sterling for too long. Going for Alli as my spurs attacker this week over literally any of their other players has been incredibly painful as well.

I used my wildcard originally out of boredom during this rounds fixtures, but I’m pretty happy with my team now as I managed to get Salah, Kane and Auba all in and my rest of the team doesn’t look horribly shit either. Obviously this is all on paper and I look forward to my 20 point game week that follows when you think you’ve nailed tour transfers.

I've been on the run of my life in this since the end of October. Placed about 502,000 now, never known the like. Pity about the shocking start largely caused by Salah not turning up.
I was doing okay until November. I was absolutely abysmal during December and went from 3rd to 9th in one of my private leagues, and I'm about 200 off the top now. I've had another shocking week unless Sterling does something magical tonight.
I've also hit unprecedented heights this season, but the guy in my mini-league that I really want to beat is 700th in the world. Fucker.
