So he "won" his appeal on the basis that the way he was treated was unfair (woken in the early hours of the morning to deal with the case rather than it proceeding at 8.30am as he'd previously been told) rather than because his excuse was deemed reasonable, by the sounds of things. The government lawyers conceded the case on that point, there was no judgement taken by the judge.
Ultimately, he's either blatantly lied about having covid when he says he did or he's attended public events unmasked whilst knowingly being covid positive. Throw the gluten-free book at the cunt.
