not sure how wise it is, and it's pretty uneven, but i feel like sterling is gonna get enough points to justify it and i just felt like i'd regret sticking with zaha and sigurdsson

Pukki and Sterling were the only ones who scored more than 3 this week.
i mean watch him score 30 this season now, but gut instinct is that him and norwich generally will fade away quite quickly. was also keen to get abraham and mount in before they get too expensive as, injuries aside, i assume they'll play a lot this season. called it on the opening day - chelsea will play some good stuff and be very fun to watch whilst also finishing about 8th.Quote:

Without me looking too hard, what's the wildcard business and why are a lot of you using them now?
I really need to make some big changes in mine. I'm absolutely seething that I took out Aguero and left in Kane. I assumed Aguero's tantrum coupled by Jesus's goal meant he would have spent a few games on the bench but alas, he starts, he scores and I'm left with John Merrick upfront.
My reasons for using the wildcard were very simple - I wanted to make lots of changes to my team. I had 3 or 4 players doing next to nothing and felt having two Liverpool defenders was no longer viable (I was actually wrong on this). Now I have a team with Aguero, Sterling, De Bruyne and Salah and hope to benefit hugely from this. Fingers crossed none of them get injured on international week!! I'm 8692 in the world and already had one disastrous week so things going well for the most part. :thbup:Quote:

Had a good week after the wildcard which is a first. Thought that City being shit would’ve made the week average at best, but it seems everyone else got burned by that too.

I started 442 with Digne, Walker, VvD and Zinchenko and the points haven't been coming in defence at all.
I need to move money from defence into midfield/attack and get in the cheaper players who look the part, Cabellos, Abraham, Tomori, Lundstram, Cantwell etc
Am trying to decide if it's worth getting Pepe. Arsenal have an amazing run and he should be locked in with Lacazatte out injured. Is he likely to be on penalties? I know he scores loads last season.

As part of a long, convoluted plan, I transferred Rashford out for Callum Wilson (gives me 0.7, next week cantwell out for a min value mope giving me 1.1, next week schmeichel for ederson to give me 2.1, then i use the funds to either bring Rashford back in for Ashley Barnes, or Richarlison in for Maddison and Jimenez in for Barnes the next week) and just hoped I wouldn't regret it.
Was sat having a shit listening to the dying embers of tonight's game on 5live, commentator said "30 seconds left for southampton to get something from this game", and I literally grinned to myself like a weirdo whilst thinking "wouldn't it be class if bournemouth hit them on the counter now and Callum Wilson scores". First time in my life I've been a bit spooked while wiping my arse for a reason other than a bit of blood on the paper.
