Upon first reading I thought you were correcting the ID check from last week to 14 years ago and thought the drugs had very much won the war.

I got ID'd recently (I'm 38) but it was by someone who was a bit special so it was more awkward for all concerned than life-affirming.
I often wonder if they have to ask every once in a while just to fulfil some kind of quota. I get asked and it's got nothing to do with mistaking my age.
I got IDed last year but she was about 18 so probably didn't make much distinction other than people older than about 20 all being really old to her so it didn't count for much.
