It's a bit different to the premier league one most are used to, in that you can make subs within the game round at the end of each day, meaning you get a second bite at the cherry if someone is shit. So not best practice packing your bench with 4.0 valued Panamanians.

If I recall from 2010 this one is so much hassle to manage with the subs and the changing limits, and the points system is a bit of a farce. Do players still get points for ‘entering the box with the ball’?

OK I did a team. How the fuck are you meant to have a team in the latter stages though? You can't field a team of only Frenchies and Germans or whatever even if you pick the cheapest ones.

I have no clue who is starting but I am still playing.
I've decided Messi captain is the only way to go, mainly because the three teams in his group should on paper have no idea how to stop him.
Otherwise just loaded up with talismanic creators and picked cheap defenders from the duller groups.
I also picked a few Argentines because their group seems wank. Not Messi though, because he doesn't have the BOTTLE.

I don’t understand the gameweeks. After Uruguay played I triple-captained Suarez cos he had Saudi Arabia next game but I’m not sure if I got triple zero cos he didn’t play on the Saturday? Can’t seem to log in to check atm.
Took out Lewandowski for Cavani this gameweek.

Used my wildcard to get in players from nations that haven't secured qualification.
The players I brought in for the first set of games (Gazkinsky, Costa, Cedric and Guerreiro) scored a total of 4 points between them.
However, Golovin and Sanchez (2 of those taken out) scored 0. The only one who did anything that was subbed out was Cavani.
