I'm not claiming that these five ingredients make the ultimate pizza, but that when on the correct pizza the listed ingredients particularly shine, or bat above their average.
I have omitted mozzarella because that goes on basically every pizza and is obviously #1.

I've never got anchovies on pizza despite liking them in other forms.
Can't beat a pizza puttanesca. Anchovies, olives, capers, basil. Probably about a month's worth of sodium all told though.
