My view on the three multiple segment SBC's so far are that none of the cards are particularly worthwhile for what they cost, but may come in handy for league/nation based objectives.
TOTW Rumoured to have OTW Partey and OTW Odegaard in it.
Partey is going to be a beast if he is actually in there.
Finished off the New Allegiance friendly objectives and packed an 84 Corona in the reward pack. Spent a little to finish off the Hybrid Nations SBCs and packed IF Niane, Sirigu and a fair few 82 rated cards.
I've played a few Rivals games to work on Jota, and Mitrovic has been an absolute wrecking ball up top. He scored all 5 in a 5-4 win, including the winning 90th minute penalty. Absolute hero.

Lys Mousset is absolutely mega for a silver btw - worth a look. As are Mengi and Tuanzebe
10 matches since I placed in Rivals. I haven't quit out in a single one yet, but that's now 9 losses and one draw.
If I wasn't on the cusp of getting Jota from it I'd literally have wasted my time.

I'm literally playing people I can't even create chances against. I just continually run into their swarming brick wall of players, lose the ball and get my arse handed to me on the counter.
Yep same here. I started off in division four and I haven't won a game since. I'm now in division five and hoping to get dropped down again.
Same problem as you. On attack I'm against a brick wall and on defence my opponents walk through me like I'm not even there. Incredibly frustrating.
Rare mega from the silver stuff gave me Koke (I had a tradeable version) and a duplicate untradeable Joe Gomez. RIP

I found playing 1 depth drop back made it more competitive and mitigated the raping on the counter somewhat, but it's so fucking boring.
Picked this up after not having bothered at all with last year's version.
Passing seems nice and I can hold the ball up well but I struggle to create chances (are long shots useless?)
Also is there a way to body check/muscle someone off the ball? Whilst defending I constantly get into situations where my CB is side by side with the striker but they seem to slide past no matter how physical the striker is.
Packed Havertz and Adama from my first Rivals megapack which puts me close to 150k coins already. Might just save up and put them towards an icon I want/will use all year, a lot of players seem massively overpriced atm.
I found out the online FUT friendlies were linked to your Rivals elo last night, so I've self relegated to division 6 and 741 skill rating.
I don't understand. What does self relegated mean Yev? I'm desperate to get down to Div 6.
I put on a youtube video (for something to watch), went into rivals games and let my opponent score and quit immediately afterwards. You lose about 30 ranking points each time. I did it about 10 times.
You don't need to let your opponent score, you can just quit as soon as the game kicks off, but they don't get the win if you do that. Also, don't score own goals to give your opponent the win. EA are not fans apparently.
Just be wary that quitting out will still count as one of your 30 Rivals matches for the week, and you wont get any score towards reward packs.
Won't that massively affect your multiplier as well?

Prices are down massively (Witsel SBC close to 120k). I am going to buy pretty much one of everyone on the lower end of the 84 (under 4k), 85 (under 7k) and 86 (under 10k). Will either make me money or save me when an SBC pops that I really want.
Also going to buy big bulk on players like Pizzi, Oyarzabal, Grimaldo. I feel like wide players and CBs do well during SBC's and those guys are under 3k at 84 rated
With Witsel dropping in price, I'm very tempted now. Unfortunately my rewards for Rivals were pretty dead, highest rated card being an 81.
Bought a load of Azpi's at 6k and Grimaldo's at 4k, so of course they've dropped in price.
