WWE is the televisual equivalent of a soap opera but instead of slagging off Ian Beale in the pub you put him through a table. It's very short term storyline wise, it's obvious who the good/bad characters are and you can dip in and out without losing track of what's going on. Think Neighbours with shiny red giants.
This season of GoT has been very WWE.
