Fulham vs Aston Villa late afternoon and then Liverpool Vs Real Madrid after that.
Fulham & Liverpool for me.
Leave off the big game of the weekend why not.
Definitely not even turning on the telly for either. Will be at a match in Newry during the champions league final anyway.
I'd like to see Villa back because Fulham are a joke club and I want to see JT's lap of honour at Stamdford Bridge.
Hopefully Madrid smash the dippers.
2-0 to Madrid would be the perfect result.
I really don't know who I want to win the Champions League. I hate them both.
I agree with the general dislike for both teams sentiment, but also having to pick one I'm leaning toward Spikes mentality. I just kind of want to see Liverpool get schooled.
At least I like Zidane. In fact if Real didn't have Ronaldo in the team, I wouldn't mind them so much.
Anyone but Liverpool/John Terry.
I haven't made my mind up on whether I can be arsed with this.
A 96th minute dodgy penalty that Ronaldo misses but scores the rebound. A knee slide in front of the Liverpool fans while shushing them and cupping the ear.
Nothing worse than the Fulham bandwagon fans with their cucumber sticks and Zone 2 travelcards. I'm old enough to remember the same thing happening when they came up in the late 90s and early 00s. Friendly club, is it? Lovely.
I’m very excited and hopeful about the CL tomorrow :)
Mitrovic will make a woman of John Terry.
I've travelled up to Liverpool for it. Make it happen boys!
It’s in Kiev mate.
Anyone got a working stream for BT Sports 2? Fancy having it on all day.
They’ve got the match live streaming on YouTube/showcase. I don’t know if they’re making the build up free as well?
What do I do now....shit...I didn't realise.
Tradition dictates you should be robbing the players houses while they’re playing.
Mccoolys I think but then it's only round the corner. Mate lands in an hour then it's game on.
I'm already vomiting just from a few radio clips of scousers this morning. It's vital, VITAL that they lose tonight.
Hala Madrid.
I'd take a Liverpool win on the proviso that it'll be in ridiculous circumstances. And Ronaldo might cry.
There’s only one Ronaldo. There’s fucking millions of Scousers and Plastic Scousers waiting to be unbearable.
I hope big Andy Robertson has a good game for Waff's sake.
So does my father in law. :/

Edit: that’s the advert.
https://youtu.be/CTLMDo682pU <that’s the stream. Says it starts in 6 hours.
The day of the final and I don't feel nervous in the slightest. That's me telling me that I don't think we're in with a chance, but we've got nothing to lose.
It's the hope that gets you.
You coming down Baz/Mike?
Sorry Tim. Watching at home, the beer is stocked. I've watched every match here, don't want to jinx us ;)
I cannot. You can have a drink with my wifes mates if you want.
My Liverpool supporting mate has his wedding today. First dance set up for 8pm too. Might ask him how it was after the game. :p
Poker from 9pm-1:30am, then the final at 1:45am
#Knackered
I love it when BT Sport chucks us freeloaders a bone with these final streams. I bet they haven't shifted a single subscription off it ever.
England U21 are losing one nil to China in the Toulon Cup on Freesports.
Starts at lunchtime. I told my wife I would meet her for lunch. :face:
If you lived in a good country it would be on wherever you go to eat.
I know. :(
And there wouldn't be a time difference in the first place.
Heard that Ryan Sessegnon is only eighteen.
Pizza ordered to arrive at 19:30.
Also done the kids eat free thing even though she doesn't eat pizza and will have been in bed over an hour when it comes, so I get a free 10" pizza, 2 small chips and 2 jellies*, to go with my 14". Come on you reds!
*I don't like jelly.
Oh wow Fulham down to 10.
The commentator said something about [The] Villa cutting back if they fail here. Is that because they have been laying out Premiership wages for a quick[er] return? I ask because I have fond memories of Zimidy SEETHING about Alan Hutton every week during their shambles era, and there he is today, so he must be scamming far more than his actual worth out of them.
Laois 4-13 1-12 Westmeath
http://hoganstand.com/livetracker
Fuck the Villa.
John Terry :harold:
Many would agree it's the best way to go up...
Simmer down mate, I'd rather win the league to get promoted.
[The] Villa looked hopeless without Gabby Agbonlahor, and Fulham will finish last next year.
This game was fucking shit.
Even with 10 men, fulham defended well. Villa looked clueless though even with the sustained pressure.
That trophy is a bit too good for this. It should be a shitty little plate, or one of those engraved glass awards that local businesses win.
Really enjoyed the Playoff final there - very little end product but was a good ‘battle’ and some of the tackles were solid.
Be interesting to see if Fulham buy Mitrovic from us now, and what happens to Villa? Johnstone, Snodgrass and Grabban only on loan, Terry might retire and a few of their players are getting on a bit (Hutton, Jedinak etc)
They'll buy a whole new squad with their parachute payments.
Pizza came bang on 19:30.
Just had beef stroggy. Getting ready for the GU cheesecakes.
I got an Asda pizza, but where as the usual narks stick to the two scoops of everything quota like their jobs depend on it (which they probably do), the woman who made this one for me was just piling stuff on like it was her last day.
I have £5 on Madrid to win in 90/Ronaldo to score/A red card shown and £5 on over 4.5 goals.
Lol at the corporates trying to do YNWA.
How has that Liverpool line-up made the Champions League final? I reckon they're gonna be bummed.
I love that they want to americanise football finals with this shite music before it.
Got the time wrong.
First match I watch all year. It better deliver.
Is that Keylor Navas? Lol.
Simmer down Hoddle.
The strike was literally right at Navas.
If 'Trent' had scored that it would have been a shocker.
What a snide little cunt Ramos is.
I reckon he's dislocated that.
United fans worry about Keylor Navas more than Madrid fans.
SalaHAHAHAHAHAHA.
And there's goes the only hope that Liverpool had.
Adam Lolana coming on in CL final hahaga
Lol
:(
Poor chap.
EDIT: heartless bastards.
Send for Daniel Sturridge.
Fuck sergio ramos. What a cunt.
I'm annoyed we didn't get to see Solanke stinking it up.
Guess there's hope he'll come on later.
If it was anyone else you would say accident, but there was enough awkward holding to think Sergio Ramos meant that.
Gutted for Mohamed. Damn. Hope hems good for the WC.
That's some going, injuring yourself doing a backheel pass.
Yeah no question, Ramos absolutely intended to do that. I'd want Madrid to win, but Ramos getting both legs broken would be a nice little addition.
Hope Ramos scores an OG that's the deciding goal now.
The destruction of the WC squads this game.
Chicken wing tackle. On report.
I've got Ramos as anytime goal scorer. He's the man.
Ramos meant to pull him down, but there's no way in a million years he knew he was going to cause him an injury.
Bit of a bore this.
He didn’t intend that you tarts. He pulled him down on purpose, but he hardly had him in an armbar. He just rolled awkwardly.
Klopp :harold:
Someone get the seethe-o-meter out.
Ronaldlol.
Klopp's such a bellend with his gurning and screaming his head off. Get some self-control you fucking toddler.
I love how the crowd just turned as soon as Salah went off. :D
Why doesn't Klopp just stick Gini where Salah was and slot Lallana in the middle? Wijnaldum can be the brainless option out instead of lumping it forward to nobody.
If he tapped out, he'd still be playing.
Nah, Wijnaldum hasn't got enough going forward. Need him in the middle. Lallana can be our Smicer.
Karius
:D
Beautiful.
That is amazing.
That's fantastic, I'm glad I bothered to turn this on :D

Can’t see is us coming back here. Ah well :(
That'll be a defining moment in CL history.
:harold:
That's the dumbest shit ever relative to the occasion.
Benzema.
What a fucking clown. :D
Him appealing for a foul topped it off.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Holy shit...
Oh.
Fuck off.
Football expert me haha
Islamic revival.
Ronnie, mate.
Holy fuck, what a goal that is.
This has picked up a bit, huh? Are we going to get the same amount of wanking over that one as we did over Ronaldo's?
I was thinking he was a mongo for attempting that when he shaped up for it.
That's going to piss Ronaldo right off.
Mate.
Holy fucking shit
From the ridiculous to the sublime, holy shit. That's one of the best goals I've ever seen.
I'm off for a wank.
Zizou's stroke victim impersonation was a highlight too.
4-1 here. Late Ronaldo penalty and shirtless celebration.
The more I see it, the more ludicrous it is.
Bale is the new Rinaldo.
Ronaldo you twat.
Karius
Karius getting put on the transfer list as we speak.
Gotta love Steve McManaman, a winger, giving lectures on what's an easy save for a GK.
:D
Ramos has donned Mane senseless getting him booked there.
EDIT: My stream's a bit behind it seems. Lol. Poor lad.
Just fucking sub him.
Haha.
Who the fuck is that clown?
I haven't seen the first one, but is this up there with the worst goalkeeping performance of all time?
This is the sort of performance that ruins careers.
This is just sad in a really pathetic way.
Well, he's going to never live any of that down.
Lol
Scouse tears
This match has been woeful as a contest by the way, with both teams accepting Real had won when Salah went off.
Well lads this couldn't have turned out any better. What satisfaction.
Karius should probably be investigated for match fixing.
That pass by Modric.
I need a goal (Ronaldo would be ideal) and a red card for my bets to come in.
Feel for Karius. It's not his fault he's shit.
It's been great for laughing at Liverpool, but as a football match this has been a garbage final.
Ronaldo probably wants to murder that fan :D
:D
Ronaldo's going to hate that wanker. :D
Was that a Scouser completing the seethe? :D
Zidane was definitely lolling at Karius there.
Fucking hell, Klopp has lost six consecutive finals :D
Zidane's goal is still better.
I do appreciate the Champions League is a huge deal for the players, but I swear you didn't used to get literally half of them crying.
Utterly fucking beautiful that
Karius will probably need therapy after this. What a shitshow.
Gary Neville BANTERING half of Liverpool into a coma on Twitter. #scenes #whatatimetobealive
Bale’s off then.
Come to Liverpool, fella.
I'd bankrupt Newcastle just to bring Bale there. As for Karius, it's the first one that gets me. The shit punch can just kinda happen but Benzema's was just dumb.
What's the 'keeper bealing to the fans for? They've done worse in finals.
Steven Gerrard is the real winner tonight.
Karius fucking it up just makes it extra special.
Can't fault the outfield players. In good hands with Klopp in charge.
They were dogshit.
Bale's first is the best goal I've seen in yonks. Incredible. Marcelo with the weaker foot cross too, love that guy.
Even without the Karius howlers, Liverpool a bit disappointing second half? I don't know if it was Salah blues but I thought they'd have the energy to really go for it once 2-1 down.
Villa lost
Liverpool lost
https://youtu.be/h4UqMyldS7Q
It looked to me like Ramos locked Salah's arm in his when he went to the ground. Is that a fair assessment?
I hate Liverpool. but Ramos a nasty player. Really dirty, and probably the cause of Salah's injury through foul play.
EDIT: Going through the match thread suggests that this is basically accepted knowledge. What a bastard Ramos is. :D
Egypt and Spain could meet in the first knockout round of the World Cup. I hope they do, Salah's fit and scores 3 to knock Spain out.
Ramos is one of the last proper defenders about. Snide, aggressive and can actually defend.
Yeah he's a cunt but I'd love him at United. Best CB in the world.
Quite disappointed that wasn't a picture of Smalling tbh
Obviously he doesn't know it's going to end with a dislocated shoulder but he knew what he was doing with his arm. It was calculated.
Bale's goal as good as it was does anyone else think De Gea or another top class keeper saves that. I honestly think Karius could have done better with it. The less said about the other two the better, but surely at the very least it means we buy a new keeper or stick James Milner in there for a season.
It looked a lot more central on the replays, so I think the height and dip might have deceived him a bit. I'm not putting it in the 'could have done better' pile, but it wasn't unstoppable either.
We were debating the Zidane/Bale thing where I was watching it, as soon as he scored it. I was the only person in the room who thought Zidane's was better, but it was.
The technique on Zidane's is completely out of this world, but Bale for the spectacle takes it for me.
Whether he would have gotten to it or not, Karius didn't even try for Bale's goal. He never fully extends his arms.
Overhead kicks obviously require a certain technique, but you are basically directing it towards goal. You can't pick your spot with them. Zidane picked the top corner out with his ten minutes before it hit his foot, which is why it will always be better than any bicycle/scissor goal.
Anyway lads, sign the petition:
It seems to mainly be seething Egyptians rather than Scousers, and aren't they the biggest bunch of spirit-defying cunts in the whole footballing world?Quote:
Sergio Ramos intentionally kept Mohamed Salah's arm under his armpit, causing dislocation of his shoulder. Not only missing the rest of the game, but also missing the FIFA World Cup 2018... Sergio Ramos represents an awful example to future generations of football players. Instead of winning matches fairly, he uses tricks that defy the spirit of the game and fair play.
Hot take: Would Zidane be a successful manager at another club? Will we ever find out?
Also, it's astonishing that he's pretty close to being even more successful as a manager than he was as a player. France next, I assume.
Why would we never find out? He'll get sacked by Real at some point one would assume.
He does well to keep everyone going and interested (although botching the league raises questions there), but the squad he has at his disposal is clearly ninety per cent of it. Even at the height of 'Pep Watch' I was willing to concede that he was doing something different. Madrid play the same as everybody else. They just have good defenders, the best midfield in the world, several quality attackers, and Ronaldo wasting big teams on his own. Arsene Wenger could win the Champions' League with that lot. He's more Luis Enrique than 'Pep'.
Juventus.
Hold on. Talk of salah being out of the world cup with a dislocated shoulder? I'm not very smart, but from what I can remember. Dislocated shoulders can be popped back in and you can continue perfectly fine in a few minutes. One of you man is a doctor I'm sure. (is it @ItalAussie?) please confirm a diagnostics.
I’ve never dislocated my shoulder, but I’ve dislocated my knee more times than I care to remember. Even in the event I’m lucky enough that it goes back in on its own, it’s atleast a couple of weeks before I can comfortably walk on it, never mind run around. It’s swollen, agony to move and stiff as fuck (OI OI) for the first 5 days or so. It’s bloody difficult to dislocate something without damaging ligaments or tendons in the process as well.
your fucking sons deserve die of cancer, you motherfucker
Slightly deflated after that match last night. After the Salah ASSAULT the match was lost for Liverpool.
Real's experience and slyness out did us. Not to mention a worldie and a meltdown.
It was very sly of them to be a much better team.
Sergio Ramos the greatest ever captain.
Twitter and Facebook are outstanding reading. People calling Ramos scum and then saying someonenshould have broken his legs in the same breath. Never change, you entertaining crackpot bastards.
How many times was Ramos ‘fouled’ last night? Not sure how officials still fall for his thing. He is such a twat.
Anyway, disappointing. Firmino didn’t really turn up and we didn’t make the most of our good start. Would have liked to see Can on earlier for a bit of drive in midfield as Wijnaldum wasn’t really adding anything. Lallana is clearly a spent force, but hopefully a summer off will help him. Alexander-Arnold and Robertson were both superb.
I find it hard to put into words how ordinary Real Madrid are. This obviously sounds stupid after winning last night for the 4th time in 5 years, but others here have said similar. Liverpool defended pretty much perfectly last night, undone by a one-in-a-million strike and two pathetic errors. Only once we had to really chase the game towards the end did they begin to look dangerous.
Lol at the pitch invader at the end preventing Ronaldo from scoring and getting his shirt off. Small victories.
Amusing to see Liverpool fans as graceless and frothing at the gums with conspiracy theories as usual. The Ramos challenge on Salah was an accident.
My theory is that Klopp's style of management leads to teams not being able to mentally cope when they truly hit a big pressure moment, hence why his teams have bottled it so much in finals. They get so overwrought with The Occasion and Passion that when they come up against a team full of cynical pros they get turned over.
Real won because they handled the pressure and had a (much) better squad.
Obviously Ramos didn’t mean to dislocate Salah’s shoulder, but he definitely knew what he was doing. Ramos has shown time and time again that he has no problem potentially hurting somebody - remember him kicking Messi at the end of the 5-0?
Apart from the Europa final against Sevilla -(although it was Sevilla after all) it’s always been defeats to mega clubs who are far better equipped than Klopp’s teams. I’m not worried about his record in finals. I don’t think anyone else would get us anywhere near as far as Klopp did.
That same debate was had where I was and I was also the lone voice of sense. Bale's goal was terrific, but that Zidane strike was just ridiculous. You can imagine some physical beast of limited ability fluking something like Bale's, but Zidane's was pure technique of a level very few players could even imagine producing.
Klopp’s a bigger chancer than ‘Pep’.
Zidane is exactly the sort of manager Real Madrid need: a massive name that has the gravitas to keep the players in check, but also big enough (unlike, say, Mourinho) to rise above the basket case politics. They should keep him forever.
When I was in Spain in January he seemed to be right on the point of being fired, but the PSG win turned it all around.
He could just headbutt the boardroom into submission. There's a key difference to last night's sides: Salah went off and they had no real talisman to fall back on. Meanwhile, Madrid had Bale on the bench and Ronaldo was seething all night when nobody passed to him. It's a team that's been largely the same for three years, too. Liverpool are always looking to replace someone big (Suarez, Coutinho, Sterling, etc.) and they all seem a little disjointed. Although I think Lovren and Van Dijk look like a unit, the rest of the squad lacks cohesion.
It's a shame. What Liverpool were doing in the first half was a proper team job. Pressing together and really upsetting Real. Salah wasn't running the show.
Niko should have blogged his 'Binman in a Blazer' theory and founded a business school off it.
I'm going to see if the council have any jobs going. I want to be PSG coach within two years. Or at least Toon boss.
I should have known. Players miss games because of dead legs, thinking about it. Moat of them are made of glass.
I've never seen a moat made of glass.
Most
Well last night was disappointing. It was going alright until Salah went off. They looked out of ideas after that really.
A few chickens came home to roost. Klopps trust in Karius backfired big time, but I am absolutely certain he'll still start him come August. He doesn't seem the type to hang his guys out to dry. That and Mignolet must have killed his dog or something.
Having the same player 3 times over in midfield only gets you so far as well. The selling to buy policy also came up. Madrid could bring one of the best players in the world on off the bench, whilst we got a couple of half fit guys who have barely played in 2018. And it was them or Dom Solanke.
That and it was one of those games where it all went wrong.
We could use a summer of big spending, but no selling. I can't wait for the Salah sale stories to start.
Salah’s going nowhere til he lifts the PL trophy in a red shirt. :joy:
That would be some statement if Cardiff could pull that off.
I was around a room full of Liverpool fans. I was being harsh on salah at the time. I blamed it all on fasting and his bones being weak because he isn't eating.
I’m sure that challenge by Ramos had a direct impact on his decision to basically chuck the ball into his own net.
If you use slow motion you can just about see Ramos slipping Karius a bunch of notes in that challenge.
It was funny when the Liverpool goalkeeper was crying around the field, I didn't see any Liverpool players with him. I must have missed it but i imagine Klopp consulted him on the field.
Last night really was glorious. I was pissed as a fart and couldn't stop laughing every time I watched the 1st and 3rd goals back.
Last night I felt Bale's was better but it had just happened. On reflection I give the edge to Zidane. The concentration waiting for it to drop, the placement and how he hit it was just perfect.
He only thing that gives Zidanes the edge for me is that a good goalkeeper would probably have saved Bales.
How is Zidane having time to weigh it up a mark against it? Especially when the ball was coming straight out of the sky, meaning all of the power and placement was from him.
Not sure how it's a seethe? For what it's worth I think Madrid win, even without two goals being thrown in the back of the net they were clearly the better team. We played ok for half hour with Salah but they always looked comfortable to me.
As for Ramos he obviously doesn't know he's going to injure him, but it's a cynical challenge and I think anyone can see that. Not even sure the ref gave a foul did he?
He won the ball clearly in the tackle. He just decided to put salah in a sneaky crippler crossface on the way down
Tbf Salah is just as much up for hooking arms as Ramos but nope Ramos is basically Anderson Silva or some other mental shit.
https://i.imgur.com/GCfzzZy.jpg
Lol
Karius is broken.
About five minutes in last night, Lovren went straight through the back of Ronaldo. It's a defender roughing up a forward.
Anyway, I'm sure it's just a Liverpool conspiracy.
Ramos is the first player ever to foul or injure someone by the looks of things today.
Next year is your year.
I've barely noticed karius all season. I thought he would be the cup keeper but he has featured in half the premier games looking at his stats. For some reason, I thought he was Estonian :cab:
I've got nothing to be bitter about. Last night was a great tragicomedy.
It was hilariously sad for both Aston Villa and Liverpool.
Want one of those jerseys
I like how none of them look happy.
Cracking goal to put Coventry ahead.
Fuck you Ian.
And another belter. Soz Disco mate.
Coventry deserve nothing nice, so fuck this.
Barry Scouser offering Sergio Ramos out on Twitter caps the weekend nicely. What a shower of absolute twats.
The comeback is on lads.
Derrick Williams. I'm going to guess Blackburn, something rings a bell there.
Not a fucking clue what league Doyle even plays in.
Looked him up there to see if he was actually Irish or if he was English and 2nd or 3rd gen and this was not what I was expecting.

There's the floodgates opened.
EDIT: And Doyle does a bit of a Karius on it.

Given his clearly valid reason for doing it (other of course than being allowed to tattoo whatever the fuck he want's on himself after all), it seems like that prissy lady is clamping pretty deep into the mud here.
Is she a mud shark?
Clomping*
'We demand he has the tattoo lasered off or covered up with a different tattoo' is the best demand ever. Yeah, love. We'll get right on it.
He should cover it up with a bigger Gun.
He should put a large machete on the other leg to antagonise the anti-knife cunts as well.
Jesus Christ.
That's about as low as I've seen.
It's not even the right weapon.
Club is bought by a bunch of thugs and murderers - No comment
Man has picture of gun - BAN THIS SICK FILTH!!!
This is a wank story, but pulling up all the other stories about him to create a 'victimisation' story is equally wank. He lives a pretty colourful life by the standards of the rest of the England squad, who he also earns more than and is mostly better than, so he is obviously going to be a paper-seller. The other week they were trying to read racism into how they referred to Harry 'Harry Kane' Kane having a nice fiancee in comparison to Raheem Sterling having a 'long-suffering' girlfriend, as if Kane also has a history of filling women in and having club fixers pay prostitutes off.
It's a bit lol for them to have a go at him for both buying a cheap plane ticket and hiring his own plane.
Piers Morgan is raging about it. I guess he's just pro-cannon based warfare rather than guns.

 I’d fucking love it if this ruined them, love it.

Doubt they’d struggle to find another billionaire owner.
Depends. In an ideal world he flogs it to someone useless, calls in his loans and they Portsmouth the fuck out of the scenario.
Hell of a week.
We're fairly fucked with him. A rampage down League One would be terrific, though.
GS always said this would happen. He is probably stood up at home like Hugh Jackman taking his applause under the stage.
Speaking of Chelsea owners. Anyone see Ken Bates' comments on the racism/bullying charges? His ability to say the most cuntish thing at any time is quite impressive.
Ken Bates was lolling off 'controversy' (as it was known then) before the OUTRAGE crowd were even born, so they might have met their match this time.
Burke missing a club game to play against the USA is an odd one, especially when Rovers are badly in need of wins.
lol as if Ramos might actually have knocked him senseless.
Aye.
Ghost Ramos must have done the same thing to him in the first leg against Roma when he did the same thing (re the second spaffing).
Did this collision occur before or after Karius rolled the ball out in exactly the same way (as the comedy disaster) just before Isco hit the bar?
I've not read through this thread (obvious reasons), what was the opinion on the chicken wing? The Australians were all over it but I just can't see it myself, even adjusting for how mush of a sneaky git Ramos can be.
lol at Chris Sutton telling him to pipe down and keep it to himself.
If he was concussed, it's his own fault for playing on.
Someone made a good point during the week about Salah taking some of the blame for being a complete 'me me me' twat and going off the field bawling like a child, instead of trying to rouse the rest of the team a bit. Most players are complete fucking pussies these days.
In fairness, it would for sure have been a very mild concussion. Or he should have blacked out from the initial hit. And, being in a CL final for the first time and being pumped up on adrenaline, I'm sure you tend to ignore the shoulder-angel telling you you prolly shouldn't play on, mate. Maybe he made it "worse" by playing on, mind you.
Of course it all stinks a bit of him whacking his own head into the wall when he got home and heading off to the doctor the morning after.
As for Ramos, I don't think he did any of all this "intentionally" as such, I think he's just a fucking sharp-elbowed and cynical defender who plays a bit rough. There's no way - even him - would think during the split second where him and Salah locks arms that "ah brilliant, this happens to be a perfect occasion to perform the forbidden Judo moves to dislocate shoulders!". As for the head-whacking of Karius, it was hard to see I think but it doesn't look all too intentional either, more like he's roughing about and accidentally hits Karius (who is behind him IIRC).
Yeah. I mean, I can sort of understand him of course - given Egypts, what, first ever world cup is coming up thanks more or less to him. But still, you look at that time Ronaldo got injured and came off in the Euros and just went fuck it and became a fucking spastic on the bench, spurring the team on. I think there was some footage from that tournament that came out as well where he's basically motivating the whole team and telling people in the dressing room relax you can do it etc, sort of fucking with my otherwise very set perception that he's the massivest of cunts.
Didn't Ronaldo cry when he went off?
So what you're saying is that, having sustained a shoulder injury, and fretting about his fitness for the World Cup, Salah should have been out on the touchline whirling his arms about?
And this would have stopped Karius fucking up?
Real Madrid are no France, sadly.
I'm not saying that exactly no. I'm just saying there's some merit to Giggles claim that a lot of players are pussies these days is all. And maybe he didn't need to flail his arms about, but maybe he could have shown some spirit as well, told Lallana fuck it you're up, you can do this, whatever. I just took Ronaldo as an example of a player who is also generally mopey who even him managed to show some fight in a deciding moment.
Of course, it's hard to dislike Salah for anything he does anyway, and it's easy to dislike Ramos. But the latter is a winner and a leader and the former is not, that's just how it is.

“That was brought up by some prick,” Southall snorts. “Piers Morgan is a prick. What gives him the right to say what can be on your body? If Sterling had tattooed a massive cock on his leg I would say: ‘It reminds me of Piers Morgan.’”
I don't get why people hate Ramos (aside from priapic Liverpool fans and their conspiracy theories). He's a fucking awesome defender, scores goals, gets sent off for mashing people and has won everything. Outstanding player.
He was on about Piers Morgan.
I love the idea that it makes any difference what a player does when he goes off, it's not a fucking film script guys.

I knew cameras were bad in the 90s but...
Poor guy. Clattered so hard in the head he was pixelated for the rest of his life.
That’s a screenshot from Carmageddon innit?
The Spectrum port wasn't up to much.

They didn't understand the true dangers of concussion in those days.
Concussed so hard he turned into Minecraft. RIP with the angles :(
I got as far as him starting with 'Bloody Hell' and realised they're probably making the quotes up.
The gift that keeps giving.

Will Firmino say he got a cold because he caught a drop of my sweat?
Bloody hell, there's no way those are real but i'm lol'ing either way.
"He could have played if he got an injection for the second half, I have done it sometimes but when Sergio Ramos does something like this, it sticks a little bit more."
Why didn't they just add "...'and Sergio Ramos thinks you're a bitch,' uttered Ramos." lmaooo
