So this is something me and Pleb have been talking about co-running for weeks/months but we've just never got the ball rolling. I would have done it on my own but it's a game that sometimes requires the host to make decisions that may effect things and I wanted someone else to bounce those decisions off before making them as it would be my first time trying the game, though we've both watched a lot of games so we should know what we're doing.
I don't think we want anymore than say 12 players for our first game and we already have confirmed interest from Mahow, Gray Fox Ian and Thommo via Discord. With the 3 in the thread that brings us to 7 so far. The only thing I would say is inactive players would kill this as everyone has a powerful role (to some degree) so please don't sign up if you plan to be inactive. My preference would probably be to do this one evening, rather than stringing it out over a week like we do with Werewolf. We've not yet decided if we'll play on the forum or on Discord, but both options seem to be viable.
I should point out in a bit of a TL;DR way that it's got several key advantages over your standard Werewolf. For example, every singe player has a power of some description, whether you be the big bad or the humble town Librarian.
Another is that, your involvement doesn't end in death. In fact some roles have powers to give you information if you die in certain ways. You also get to vote 1 time after death.
The game comes with 3 standard scripts, Trouble Brewing, Sects & Violets and Bad Moon Rising. Think of those as essentially easy to hard modes. Trouble Brewing is a great way of dipping the toe in the water. There are custom scripts beyond that, but I'd be surprised if we got there.
If it's going to be done in one go over an evening then I'm probably out.
Well looking at it, it seems the official forum version is longed out, with voting periods being 36 hours long... so if people would prefer to play via the forum slowly we can do that.
I can't imagine given how obsessed we all seem to be with this game that this'll be a one and done, so we can try different ways and find out what works.

I'm torn because a shorter version would mean killing Mahow in record time, but I think it would work much better for most people if over a longer period of time. I think it's only the active members on TTH Discord that would want to do it in one evening.
It's better suited to being done over one night on Discord.

I'm less fussed about trying a forum version. In part because I just tend to have less time.during the day than when I used to take part in these and catching up on a load of stuff at once feels like a chore.
So that brings us to 7 players for either version if Ian is out of the long one and Offy is out of the short one.
I guess we just hope for a few more sign ups and see which version they are willing to try. I’m open to either version, as I said, I imagine both will happen at some point pending interest.

I like the sound of allowing dead people to participate and not revealing the roles upon death. I'd be shit at a short Discord based one but would definitely be up for a traditional long forum one.

Which is why I advised "at the very least the intro" which is like 10-15 minutes.
They go through the rules and the roles that they are using that game.
Some basic rules for those who aren't familiar with the game, and I welcome those players that are to add on to this:
Private conversations are allowed between anyone, except during the nominations phase. I don't really have a way to police these, but I would just ask that no one screenshots their roles to other people as this would kill the game. Other than that, all bets are off.... and obviously you can tell people your role privately, but they'll know you could be lying.
Once nominations begin there is no more private talking and all conversations must be in the thread. Any player can nominate another player and it doesn't have to be seconded. They must make a post explaining the reason for the nomination, and then after that, the player who has been nominated gets to make 1 post defending themselves. After that, everyone else votes on whether to execute them or not. Voting goes round the circle in order and you simply vote yes or no. 50% of the living players need to vote yes for the person to be put on the block. Once someone is on the block, they will die unless someone else gets more votes than them during the same nomination/voting phase. In the event of a tie, no one dies.
Dead players cannot nominate any more but they can still vote Yes 1 more time. Once it's gone, it's gone so the dead players should use their votes very wisely. Dead players are still playing for the team they were on, whether that's the good team or the evil team.
We go on until the Imp is dead, or until there are no good players left. If we get to 1 good Vs 1 Evil, then evil wins.
Anyone can also talk to me or Pleb at any time to clarify rules etc. I'll be randomly visiting all the profiles so people can't draw any conclusions from that.
I've sent my randomly assigned roles to Pleb to get his thoughts on.... we'll be looking to kick this off today at some point, with 11 players. We've left Ian and Lofty out this time as they said they weren't available, but we will include them next time if we can/if it works. Sorry Lofty... feels bad after we couldn't get you into Fantasy Football either... we'll find a way to include you!

The official forum thing recommended 36 hours for a nomination period but hopefully we can get done quicker than that to keep it moving. Right, I've just finished a very long conversation with our Data & Statistics Champion (James). He's shown me an extensive dossier made up of thousands of research papers which concludes that Mahow must die. I must stress that this is not James' opinion, and nor does he have one despite watching thousands of these types of games a year, but the evidence is damning.
I know it isn't time to nominate yet, but I'm going to be on mobile later so it'll be easier to quote this post.

The "rules" are very similar to normal werewolf, you execute people and try and make sure they're the bad guys. The key is using the roles and the expected numbers to work out who is who and what is going on.
There are a couple of roles that can have a big impact on the game, but I don't want to go into what they are for fear that people will take it as confirmation they are in the game. If any of the other players want to give a general run down of the big roles people should be looking out for, that would be ok.
Hopefully this picks up once Mahow dies.

Firstly I'm one of only about four people who actually knows how to play this game plus I've also won a game of werewolf solo as a werewolf so I refute your "absolutely useless at these games" bit.
Secondly, as I have outlined before I am ok with dying here. I've tried to speak to many people but either people aren't checking their PMs, are hesitant to talk to me or don't realise that talking outside of this thread is absolutely vital. As such I haven't been able to ascertain many roles within the town and therefore I don't know if there are any other expendable characters in the town.
I will claim now that I am the Librarian, I have learnt some information (I know that there is a drunk in the town whose information is horseshit) but I will not learn anything else from the storyteller. Because of this I am expendable and would rather I die as opposed to killing off someone else who has a role where they learn more information as they go along. I am on the good team though.
Also, because of my role I know that there is an outsider in the town. In a game of this size there should only be one however Spikey is claiming that he is the recluse. This along with my information regarding a drunk means there are a few possibilities.
1. We have a third outsider who is not being forthcoming which means we have a Baron in play
2. Spikey is lying about who he is (a common evil tactic as the recluse may register as evil to good characters)
3. My information is wrong somehow.
We need to know who, if anyone, is the third outsider before we kill anyone. If no one comes forward I think we should kill Spikey as I believe he is lying if there is no further outsider.

The town do seem very reluctant to kill today so I'm inclined to move on if the Offy vote fails too. If anyone objects to moving on and intends to nominate again, please let it be known before we reach the point where Offy is either safe or is killed (which requires 6 votes either way, he's current 0-2).

For what it's worth, I waited until now to mention it because I wasn't sure if being killed by the Imp counted as "being executed", but I know understand that it's in everyone's interests if I'm open about it.
I think I'm going to allow conversation while I await confirmation on the night time activities this time, in the hope of speeding the game up and allowing a nomination phase tonight. Going forward (As in from Night 3 onwards) though there shouldn't be any posts or conversations at night. Those who wake in the night always have the option of sending me their choices in advance if they can.
I may have explained badly when conversations are allowed, so that's on me. But yea, conversations should be happening during the day both publicly and privately, and then once nominations open everything should be public.

I really can't get a feel for this game at all. How are we to move forward if we learn nothing from the deaths? Are we not just killing at random? I don't get it.
Some roles can learn from deaths, some roles gain nightly information. It's about striking up conversations with people, either publicly or privately, and collating your information to work out who is good and bad.
Part of the risk is you could be in conversation with an evil player and giving information away to that player about your role, which could put a target on your head for the demon.

One thing I don't quite get is that the graphic on page 1 says there's only one outsider, which would be me. Presumably a scenario exists where someone else's role (i.e. a Baron) means that we can have additional outsiders, and Spikey could be telling the truth.
Does the existince of a Baron just mean two random people are assigned additional outsider roles?
One of the possible minions in play is the Baron, which results in 2 additional outsiders.
I keep trying to do a he said she said series of points but getting lost in a circle of confusion.
Offshore (chef) knows 2 bad guys are sitting next to each other. Spikey (recluse) may register as bad, so he could make the pair, equally, maybe doesn't because he doesn't register as evil, or isn't sitting next to someone evil. Offy and Spikey had a pre-existing plan to kill Mahow, before roles were handed out, so either the way the seating plan worked out played into their hands or they came up with that plan. I don't think it was a deliberate plan and am inclined to believe their roles. Mahow says he's the librarian and his knowledge (of a drunk) conflicts with Spikey being the recluse as that would mean there are two outsiders when the game says there is one. Now the guy on the other side of Spikey claims to be the saint, yet another outsider. The added kicker here is if there are three outsiders [does the baron make this possible?], and one of them is the drunk, then that person doesn't know about it and thinks they are someone else?

This is what happens when you don't kill Mahow. Given the bloke is watching videos of this game for fun, he probably knows how to confuse everyone and what I'm seeing now is a mess. Get. Rid.
The idea of the game is to gain information from other players in order to start to deduce the evil team. Day 1 is always a crapshoot because it's mostly a guess. But certain players have roles which can reveal more each night and even with each death.
We're already starting to build a picture now of some of the board and 4 hard claimed roles.
It's always worth killing someone in this game script of a day as there's always that chance of hitting the Imp and it's literally the towns only way of fighting back, unless we have a Slayer in play.

Lets get some discussion going. In my private conversations with people I've come across these good roles: slayer, virgin, investigator, librarian. It would be quite interesting to hear what roles other people have come across.

So I feel like at this point I should come out with my own information.
I am the Investigator and in the first night I was woken to be told that either Baz or Mahow is the Baron.
If we take everyone elses information at face value, we know the Baron is in play as there are 2 claimed outsiders and Mahow has seen a Drunk. I would suggest this confirms Mahows information.
We also have Offy claiming the Chef who saw that one pair of evil is sat next to each other. If this is also true, then that means we should be looking at SvN as he is next to Mahow or we should be looking over at P_3 or Manc as they are next to Baz.
I've heard from P_3 and calling a Saint bluff this early is not overly wise, therefore I think we should be killing Manc unless he has some good reason for us not to.
I've just realised Pepe voted when he's not evening playing. :D
So Offshore was executed. He was the chef who told us 1 pair of evil players were sat beside eachother.
Then Boydy was gimped. He was the undertaker but didn't get to find out Offshore's role.

I am the librarian, I can confirm that one of the names I was given was Baz.
As to my defence it's two fold. Firstly we have an investigator who whilst he has seen me as a potential baron and yet he feels the person who should be killed first is @Manc. Due to other evidence.
Secondly it was my information that led the town to realising that there was a baron in play as we only knew of one outsider (Spikey) at the time. SvN the third outsider was silent and then claimed he was the strongest outsider in the whole game, a common evil bluff as the town will be wary of killing him.
As with the first day I am fine with dying, I have been given all the information from the storyteller that I will get and as such I am expendable to the town.

I wanted to confirm this during the vote but thought it might be taken the wrong way- I won't leave votes open waiting on dead votes as they're too rare. Dead players who want to vote will need to do so early. They can always PM me with a list of players they want to use their vote on if they ever decide on something definitive.
Once we reach the latter stages where more players are dead than alive, i'll obviously revise this.
A lot hinges here on what Baz is. He's been seen as both the Baron and the Drunk, and yet could be neither.
If mahow genuinely is the Librarian, then Baz is the Baron. Just a lowly minion, but still a bad guy we can execute. Additionally, mahow himself could also be the Drunk, and have been given duff info at the start.
If Mahow is not the Baron, then Baz must be the Baron. If Baz is the Baron then Mahow's other Librarian person (who I know but won't reveal) is the Drunk.
I really don't think I'm the drunk because of reasons I'd rather not share yet. I'm not a Baron. If we're not killing Mahow I'm happy to not execute anyone today.

I thought last night was worth a shot at a potential Imp kill, but if we have already lost the Undertaker that's a vital piece the evils have already taken out.
If everyone is being honest so far we now still have 3 evils alive and 4 good. We also don't have any more information gathering roles either if this is to be believed. There are still some players yet to reveal their role(thommo, Niko and has Baz actually claimed a role?) either publicly or privately.
So if everything thus far has been truthful, we need an evil dead tonight or else it's game over. If one of you is actually the slayer I feel you should use your shot today on SvN. While I don't have a read either way, the Saint is the best defence for an Imp to hide in plain sight and it is worth checking. If it isn't him, we can ignore the possibility of having to decide to risk losing the game by executing him later.

The town can execute a dead body if they don't want to kill anyone but do want to kill (this is more appropriate in the more complicated versions of the game, it wouldn't really come up in this one) and the Imp can choose to kill a dead person and sink the kill if they wanted to bluff a certain scenario.Quote:

After I died, three people PMed me to ask my role (and I answered them all honestly). They were Baz, Mahow and P_3. Possibly one of them is evil and was looking for info? Possibly they were all just nosey. Possibly they were good and looking for info to help the town win. Who knows, but it's some extra info for you.

So mahow told me that he saw the Drunk as either myself or one other player. Baz came out and said he was the other person that mahow saw. However, if mahow is evil, all this information is completely bogus. We'd still have a Baron in play, as GF saw that on night 1 but we'd have no clue who the Drunk is.
My role is a fairly solid, knowledge role. And my information has been consistent from night 1. However, I've been disregarding it assuming I was the Drunk as it didn't fully add up with what others were disclosing.

The investigator also saw him as a possible Baron and I see him as a potential drunk, however I'm starting to believe that my info may have been tampered with somehow.
I also think it's very strange that we've had two ghost votes against me.

I feel like we may have missed people tonight as I don't think we've had a situation before where we've got another nomination after someone was on the block and so they may have assumed we were done. I still need nearly everyone to vote on Baz. Keep in mind the vote phase won't end until there are no more nominations from anyone, no matter how things go with the Baz vote. Only Baz and Mahow have spent their nominations so far, on each other.
Right, so, things don't seem to have become any clearer overnight. Is there anyone who can explain to me what Baz is 'soft' claiming here (or if what I think is wrong)?
Is he alluding to the fact that his role gathers information on a nightly basis - ie is he the fortune teller? Are there any other info gathering roles? The undertaker has been claimed. Does the empath get different info as people next to them die - ie does the next nearest alive player become their neighbour or does their power cease if their immediate neighbours die? If it's the former I suppose he could be claiming that, but then his 'I'm not telling x, y and z' makes no sense, if it makes any sense in any scenario that is.
If we think Fox is on the level then either Mahow or Baz is the baron. Mahow claims to be the librarian and came out early with suggestions there is a drunk in the town - which would be his power if it were true. Of course, were he the baron he would know that there are more outsiders than the gameboard suggested, but he wouldn't necessarily know there is a drunk would he? He could have come out with that and then had three people claim the other outsider roles, putting him in a bit of a bind no? As that hasn't happened he either got lucky on a gamble, or he is telling the truth.
There are other alternative realities requiring various levels of scheming and/or epic trolling from Browning.
Fox, seeing the various outsider claims, could have gambled on claiming to be the investigator. He didn't come out with it straight away as he wanted to see if anyone else blew their load as a rival investigator.
Mahow could be lying or, in a barely believable twist, could be a drunk who thinks he's the librarian? Is that possible?

That is not the case.
To answer the role questions from Niko:
The Empath does indeed gain new info whenever their neighbours die. They would get a read on whoever they are now sat next to (amongst the living players).
The Baron would know (because it's part of the role) that more outsiders are in the game, but would not know any further details regarding which roles/players they were.
Drunk Librarian is indeed a possibly combination. The Drunk could think they are any of the townsfolk roles.

I believe if Niko maintains he is the Slayer, he should publicly use his shot on SvN and then nominate P_3. This should give us all the info we need. If Niko is not the Slayer then he simply wont do it and we should nominate him.

So I'm going to choose to follow and explain the info to get to my vote.
My info is that either Mahow or Baz is the Baron. If the Baron is in play we would have 3 outsiders. The Recluse and the Saint came forward on day one. The usual outsider count is 1. The only other role that potentially affects the outsider count in this script is the Spy, but I don't think game 1 we would be handed a Baron and a Spy.
I didn't reveal my info to anyone but Mahow came forward with his claim of Librarian seeing a Drunk. This confirms my own information. This is the only thing I am sure cannot be incorrect in this game. If you believe me to be good/evil, Mahow must be the same. The Demon could not bluff that without it being easily ruled out.
Mahow saw the drunk as being either Baz or Thomma. As we know Baz must be the Baron, Thomma must be the drunk and therefore his gamelong info of a 1 reading must be wrong. This then means P3 and SvN are in the clear. The only other person left in the game is Niko and he's the odd one out.

I can make a good argument for either of Thommo and Mahow but will nail my colours to the mast with Mahow as that is what everyone has wanted since day one.
Let's start with the second minion role. It must be a Spy due to the evil lot rightly picking Boydy to kill on the first night, the evil lot knowing that Thommo is the Drunk Empath and the evil lot knowing not to nominate me before due course. Mahow at this point is the Spy and his evil crew are Gray Fox the Imp and Nikko the Baron. This would agree with Offshore's clue as only Niko and Gray Fox are evil neighbours with Mahow appearing as a good Townsperson at Browning's discretion. Gray Fox's and Mahow's fake role and info is picked out to be credible and Niko hides as a Slayer. As the game wears on and the evil team notices that hardly anyone goes ahead with executing Mahow, a plan is devised to sacrifice Gray Fox and make Mahow the new Imp. And during the Virgin-gate phase Niko sacrifices himself to save Mahow, (I was specifically asking Mahow to nominate me), as it would be obvious to me that he is lying about being the Librarian. This brings us to today where Thommo's power is finally showing a change due to Mahow, the final piece of the puzzle. TL;DR I nominate Mahow.
The other version swaps Gray Fox for Thommo the Imp, as he and Mahow gangbang me but I'll let them take the win for their plan.

Spikey was indeed the Recluse as I think everybody knew. Tough role especially for someone who hasn't played before because it doesn't really do anything except make him look suspect. He did the right thing coming out early doors as even if he wasn't believed and was killed.... the town wouldn't really have lost much as the role wasn't gaining anything.
SvN was the Saint again to the surprise of no one. I know Spikey was asking why he would come out when he did.... my view was he had to come out. If anything he had to come out sooner. The town were scrambling to find that third outsider and him coming out provided vital information that told us it was indeed a Baron game. Shame that it wasn't then followed up for a good while given there was a Baron ping on the investigator...
thommo was the Imp and he was the Imp the entire game. I'll be honest, and it probably easy for me to say given that I knew.... but I could not believe how easily the town bought his drunk Empath bluff. In a game where no one was really claiming a strong information gathering role, the Empath could have been huge to the town, but they quickly accepted "Nah he's drunk" with no evidence to back it up and let him sit there all game not even killing his neighbours to get another read. If he had been the Empath, he would have been playing a tragically bad game. When SvN questioned why we accepted him as the drunk I was praying people would push that further, but nope.
P_3 was the Virgin and I was impressed with his level of commitment to trying to solve the puzzle, but unfortunately he and Gray Fox who had most of the public discussions seemed to have Tunnel Vision for this one world view. There was a point where I felt he held the keys to the game and was desperately hoping a townsfolk would nominate him to prove them both as good. In fact Gray Fox suggested it.... and then didn't follow through and do it himself despite being a spent investigator. P_3's strategy seemed to be to bait the evil team to nominate him, which is fine in theory, but lead to him coming under fire when his power didn't go off. Never mind, he played a good game and was unlucky in the end.
Baz was...... the Monk, believe it or not. He made smart choices too protecting P_3 almost every night, so I assume he believed in P_3's claim and hadn't found a more useful role to protect, mainly because there wasn't one. Not sure why he was bluffing everything under the sun towards the end, but that's Baz.
Manc actually was The Mayor and was another who I thought could have played a big role to helping the good side when they looked down... but alas he was killed by the town. Had Thommo tried to kill him in the night, I definitely would have bounced the kill to someone else and tried to throw town a bone, but I wasn't given that option.
Offshore was..... The Drunk. Now I need to confess to a small oversight in the set up, but it wasn't a mistake. I did overlook the fact that the Chef 1 I gave to Offy could technically be correct information if Spikey has registered as evil. There are many ways to make this work though, but the official reason is Spikey did not register as evil to the Chef. What this meant in effect was town was given correct information that they maybe shouldn't have had. You could argue that makes it harder to find the drunk, but in reality, the information was still factually wrong, and there were plenty of other characters who COULD have been the drunk without changing the game, such as Baz and Boydy whose power's never triggered. That said, whichever of them was the drunk, I think most of the town were just willing to accept it was Thommo and move on. Would have been interesting to see what happened if Boydy had gotten that drunk read....
Boydy was The Undertaker who died without getting any info. A real lucky shot in the dark as far as I can tell, unless he came out privately to an evil player. If he did, he really needed to identify them to the town, but there was nothing he could do dying so early. A shame because this was probably town's best role.
Niko was The Poisoner whose poison.... did fuck all in the entire game. SvN was the first poison target meaning he actually could have been killed on Day 1 without losing the game which would then have confirmed a poisoner in play.... but he had no way of knowing that. After that he poisoned Manc on night 2 which only would have mattered if Thommo had tried to kill him.... and then he poisoned Baz twice before finally sinking a poison into spent Gray Fox. These weren't necessarily bad choices, picking Baz could have been huge, but Thommo never tried to kill P_3.
Gray Fox..... poor ol' Gray Fox... was the Investigator who was told ON NIGHT ONE that Mahow was a potential Baron. In fact let's couple these roles together because Mahow was The Baron. Right. So the investigator ping told you it was Mahow or Baz. The chef ping pointed you to Mahow sitting next to Spikey. On top of that, Mahow blatantly changed his story after (correctly, I might add) accusing Offy of being the drunk on the first day and then all of a sudden his ping was Baz or Thommo? And none of this told you Mahow was actually the Baron? I was face palming so hard at points. I guess that's easy for me, knowing the answers, but yea, Gray Fox as one of the fans of this game before we started is going to be absolutely kicking himself. The Baron knows with 75% likelihood that a drunk is in play.... and if 3 other outsiders came out, he only had to pretend one of them was lying... and if people didn't believe him, so what... the Baron is expendable. Yea.... this was the only place where I felt like there were huge clues missed.
All in all though I thought from the start that the script was harsh on the town (it was completely randomised) and I think I can do better with future games. Before running this I considered the Baron a weak minion but taking out 2 good roles and putting in 2 shit outsiders is much more powerful than I ever accounted for, which lead to probably some balance issues. But I think it's something we can iron out, along with timings for voting etc. For the town to get to final 3 with only 1 strong info role which died without getting any info was a hell of an achievement especially for so many new players. I enjoyed it at least, and I hope the fact it was a tough game hasn't put people off too much.
I invite any discussion about private conversations etc, because obviously I only see half the game. I also invite any discussion around whether people would want to play again and any recommended changes etc.
My banter poisoning* would have been the best choice, and would have made the game a whole lot fucking easier.
*Thommo the night he killed Fox and not P3.

Props to Mahow and Gray Fox for inviting private discussions from minute one. And niko and P_3 later on. Certainly made it easier to get absorbed. Kind of annoying getting nowhere near though!

IIRC I initiated all the PMs I had with townsfolk and not many got back to me. P_3 is by far the townie I had the most interaction with and I think he was quite astute all game. I'll be stunned if he's never watched an episode.
You were closer than you think. P_3's posts at the end basically implied (to me at least) it was pretty much a coin flip, and had he put Thommo up on the block, I feel like the town would have had not much choice but to vote on it. Then again, I'm probably wrong, and it would probably have just lead to Thommo nominating Mahow and everyone piling on.
But in hindsight I really needed to give the town at least one more information gathering role. I've already had @Gray Fox ask me if he can be the co-storyteller next time which I'm all for. I can then chuck Pleb into the game so he can show you all how to win the champions league.

Thommo has watched just as many as me and GF has watched more (along with Browning and Pleb).
To be fair, I don't think anybody played badly, especially for a game with so many new players who don't know the ins and outs of all the roles. As I said, in hindsight I should have given the town at least 1 more information role, and I probably shouldn't have had 2 of the 3 more experienced players both on the evil team, but yea, it was all completely randomised as I didn't want them gaining an advantage due to the fact they could try and work out what I would do. I hope the balance will work better in future games, but this was my first attempt too.

It definitely picked up after a slow start. That GF post really was the turning point. I bet Mahow couldn't believe his luck.
We were in a hole when our only further info gathering role died on night one.
Unfortunately my coin flip choice when I came out with my info was P_3 or Manc. At that point I'd asked P_3 if he was a Ravenkeeper and he hinted that I was on the right lines so I left him and went for Manc. Had I gone for P_3 the game might have played different.
He even messaged me on the final day telling me he thought he was surrounded by evil but just didn't know who to pick. I'd have voted with him either way.
I guess some bad luck combined with my tunnel visioning into Baz being an evil bastard doomed us all. My detective agency has been shut down and a review by Trading Standards is underway.

My plan was to do another one (pending there being enough interest) the week after next as I'm off work that week, but I wasn't expecting Werewolf to pop up. I can't really remember how long Werewolf normally lasts. To be fair, I was at work this week and it didn't really take up too much time, so if we miss that week I'm sure any other week would work.
There seemed to be a decent amount of activity in the evenings for votes so maybe it'll work better if we had stricter timing for when Nominations/Votes should happen. But yea, as people start to learn the roles and learn what claims do and do not make sense, I think it'll make the games more interesting.
It was possible to work it out (@SVN), although it is obviously easier from a backstage perspective. I was pretty sure between you and P3 you probably would so I was slightly surprised when no one did the reverse engineering on Thommo.
Yea, I was saying to Pleb from about Day 2 that it was going to be extremely difficult to work it out. Once people have a handle on all the different roles I think they'll work more out though- for example they'd pick up that Thommo really wasn't playing at all like an Empath. Literally the only thing that happened that I was shocked no one noticed was Mahow changing his story as to who his 2 pings were, everything else was only easy if you knew the answers.
One of my favourite moments was Gray Fox and P_3 having an in depth discussion that seemed to be working towards a virgin check, but then it all getting cut off by Spikey running in and nominating Mahow for no reason. :D But of course, he was right.

I've messaged Offy who seemed to think the numbers for TTH Werewolf were too low, so if there's enough interest in doing this again instead, I'm open to doing it with a view to starting at the weekend/Monday. Having looked, the official rules say the maximum player limit is 15 and I doubt we're going to get to 15 to be honest.... but if we can get to around 10 it should be viable. Anywhere between 10 - 15 should work. I'm off work next week which is the only reason so try and do this again so soon, otherwise I would have waited a bit.
@Gray Fox is meant to be helping with the running this time meaning @Pleb should be free to play.
Let me know who is interested and hopefully we can make the numbers work.

Yea, I was a bit worried that first game would put some people off because it was kind of unbalanced. That's what I get for hitting randomise and leaving it all to fate. It was seriously fucking hard for the good team with no strong info roles. Of course, even if it had been perfectly balanced, the game won't be for everyone.
It's the main reason I'm keen to do another one to see if I can do better if I put some thought into the script. After this one, I'll likely give it a rest for a bit.
