Gelson has been great. 11 in 7 so far, all in Rivals. Just a super nippy, clinical finisher. His gold card was an early-game hero so I had to get him in.
I would have been tempted but I just didnt think it was worth it with Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria and Atal.
Did another 87*10 last night and got 96 Gomez. Means I am likely to relegate the POTM Messi from my la liga side right as he moved into the Ligue Un side.
Update to the above, I remembered I have 98 Foden to ran him instead of Bruno for a game last night.

Very reasonably priced. Renato looks possible but not sure I'll be able to stretch to Kante. We'll see what these packs bring.

I managed to do Kante + Sanches after getting some decent fodder from the packs. Pretty much completed FIFA now I think :cab:
I think every game I have played since yesterday has been against Kante.
I jumped back on for the first time in 8 days (probably the longest I've been off the game since release) and opened up a few of the player picks and a couple Ultimates, and packed 98 Acuna finally. I might play a few games now I have him and 97 Dybala in the club, his original Showdown card was utterly fantastic all the way up to May.
The player picks were shit unfortunately. That Kante looks ridiculously cheap too, so I might do him for the hell of it.
I've done Fati + the silver stuff today and with the subsequent fodder have also added Thiago Mendes, which means my Ligue Un side is now all above 90-rated (playing Marquinhos at CB) :cool:
Tomorrow I'll make a start on the WL games to unlock the Swaps token.

92+ PP for a 88 rated squad.
I had 98 Acuna, 97 Alba and 94 Dias on my dupe untradeable pile. Used the latter two and got 98 Lewandoski from the pick.
Did the 91+ the other day and got Varane, which opens up some nice options down the left with Hernandez and Kante.
No idea why I'm playing this still, but I guess I'm enjoying using these mega players and building different teams.
Definitely reinforced my feeling that the main way to be successful is to pack someone mega early in the game cycle and build from there. The rating difference between gold Mbappe and the average early team is far more pronounced and then it just becomes cyclical as you win more and unlock higher tier players at a quicker rate.
I think my goal in the next game is to play more competitive matches and focus more on building my main team rather than having a breadth of high-rated squads from different leagues.
Despite my postings in here I really am not playing much of the game at this point but I do keep on top of content.
Hoping that after this week and futties ends we get a set of FIFA 22 kickstarter objectives.
