Wow. I didn't see that coming. Get in.
Who do we reckon Brock will fight? Josh Barnett?
Slightly annoyed I ruined this for myself. I'll watch it in full later today. Pretty shocked.
He'll face Mark Hunt. Wont be too great but will pull in the money.
If anyone missed it, watch the Polo Reyes/Dong Hyun Kim fight which was on the early prelims.
Fucking mental fight, up there with the Korean Zombie v Leonard Garcia fight.
I've also just found out that he's a different Dong Hyun Kim.
I'm delighted Bisping won. Absolutely delighted. I just didn't see it happening when the fight was made.
If you're up for it you could probably pull another ten hilariously incorrect predictions I've made in this thread, starting with me saying that Lombard would finish Henderson.
The Henderson finish was nasty. Probably worse than versus Bisping.
I know adrenaline must be hard to channel but Lombard was clearly out of it from the standing elbow.
Also RIP Kimbo Slice. His infamous backyard fight video is one of my most watched things ever. :(
What a hero Bisping is.
Hopefully he keeps it for a while now that's he gotten over the hump in big fights.
Also the whole card was fucking brilliant. Especially all the prelim fights.
Bosse v O'Connell last night was madness.
Rory's nose :(
GSP Announces his return :happycry:
I enjoyed the main event. It wasn't the chaotic warfare the previews were trying to sell but then it was never going to be. A tactical striking battle with very occasional flurries was basically what I expected, and that's what happened.
Joanne Calderwood should definitely have seen a bonus. It wasn't the fight of the night, but she was fighting a girl whose last fight was for the title and the champion couldn't finish her, so I have no doubt that finish was more impressive than one nobody knocking out another nobody who's been away for five years.

Zuffa has accepted a $4.2 billion bid to sell the UFC.
Garry Cook :face:Quote:
FloCombat sources indicated that the majority of the money for the deal is coming from the Dalian Wanda Group and Tencent Holdings. But WME-IMG and the Kraft Group would act as the faces of the new ownership group, at least in North America.
Our sources reiterated once again that Dana White will be staying with the company. His current shares in Zuffa will be sold as part of the deal, but he will be granted new shares to stay on in his current promotion capacity. A new CEO will be selected to handle emerging international businesses; the name we were told is Garry Cook.
Garry Cook has been in charge of everything outside America for years now anyway.

-Takanori Gomi vs. Jim Miller
Woof.
The fox prelim card might eclipse the main card for good fights.
Press conference was just about Lesnar really. Owned it.
There's something seriously shady about his testing exemption. I reckon they knew they were going to bring him back at least as long ago as the original card announcement and just held off announcing him because they knew there was absolutely no chance he wasn't full of gear.

Hunt is great.
I see him knocking out Brock 'Juiced to the gills' Lesnar early doors.
Brock will run circles round him.
arielhelwani: UFC just announced that the new main event for UFC 200 is Brock Lesnar vs Mark Hunt
arielhelwani: Jon Jones is out of UFC 200, per Jeff Novitzky. He has been flagged by USADA stemming from a test on 6/16.

MMAFighting: White said this is “devastating” for Daniel Cormier “in every way it could possibly be."
arielhelwani: White says he's like for someone to fight DC on short notice but it's unclear whether he will remain on the card.
arielhelwani: White: this is the way it should be. We have the best (drug-testing) program in all of sports.
arielhelwani: White has not disclosed what the banned substance that came up was.
arielhelwani: If DC doesn't get a fight, unclear what if anything he'll get paid, per White.
arielhelwani: White: Jones might get two years for this (via USADA).
arielhelwani: Daniel Cormier is now going to speak.
arielhelwani: White's final words: "this sucks. This is unfortunate."
MMAFighting: Cormier: I’m very disappointed. I worked really hard for this.

Dana looks like he's about to throw up.
Boxer povetkin failed a drug test for the wilder fight but they then cleared him the other day claiming he was clean all along. Funny moves.
I guess Nate was right, they're all at it.
Jones is a fucking disgrace. Lifetime ban.
He's hosting a press conference right now and is obviously denying any wrong doing.
He looks like he couldn't give a fuck though.
For fuck sake.
He's made his money. The bloke had a worldwide Nike sponsorship for a couple of years.
So it's not just coke this time?
Rumours circulating that Anderson Silva will step in to fight Cormier. Cormier will do him in a round.
Bisping (he wants two titles the hero), Mousassi and Cerrone (because why the fuck not) have thrown their names into the hat.
Silva makes the most sense but I agree with you, DC would batter him.
Cerrone will fight anyone on any night because he's a fucking headbanger. What's Chael Sonnen doing these days? He'd usually be all over that.
This Belal Muhammad bloke is a madman. He should have been finished three times so far, and he's fighting with fucking contact lenses in. I've never heard of that before, and I'm surprised it's allowed.
Fuck me.
Cormier down to third on the 200 card against Anderson Silva, Meisha Tate the new main event, with Lesnar v Hunt in between.
I'm going to tune in for the Lesnar fight tomorrow. I've seen a few people say that if Hunt can chin Lesnar it'll be lights out but if it goes to a mat game then Lesnar might make him submit. Should be interesting, either way.
Lesnar's submission game is quite basic. He done Shane Carwin with an arm triangle but Carwin was absolutely shattered by that point having spent the first round punching Lesnar all over the place. It's not impossible that he'd win by submission but it's far more likely that he'll just pound him out if he gets Hunt to the ground.
Whoever told you it's 'lights out' if Lesnar can't take him down wasn't lying though. Hunt will take his head clean off if he catches him.
Silva will be lucky to last thirty seconds.

Joey Diaz. :D
I stayed up until this fight (I wanted to do the whole thing but I was shattered and really want to stay up for the next two events) and it was great. He's got a cracking chin, especially after the third as it looked like a huge shot. Had Joubain really fucked in the third too.
I thought the first was more impressive, because it was the only one Jouban followed up on in any way and the follow up consisted of shitloads of elbows.
There's a shot landed in the Roy Nelson fight will make your beard fall out.
Tempted to stay up for the Silva and Lesnar fights. Might even have a flutter on first round KO in em both (Cormier and Hunt to win) to make it more interesting.
What time do the events start in the UK ? 3AM for main card?
There's a live Cage Warriors card starting on BT2 now.
Paddy Pimblett. :D
That's better than anything the Chelsea youth system has thrown up. He looks like Mackenzie Crook with a Snapchat filter on too.
Oh for fuck sake. He's megascouse. MEGAscouse.
And he's said 'we know that' about twelve times so that answers my question from the other week.
Almost certain Boubacar 'Black Out' Balde was just introduced as 'Blacks Out'. A bold move for their first televised show.
TEAM KAOBON represent!
