What a fucking goal
That's an outrageous finish.
Villa have absolutely dominated these this half. What a performance.
Shame they bottled it against Man Utd twice and to shite like Brentford and Burnley otherwise they’d have been right up there. Still, what a season from them
Villa have been outstanding second half. I like Ange's Spurs but Champions League football would be great for Villa.
It’s bizarre how Villa have been pretty average for weeks now because today they’ve looked the real deal.
Jesus, Arsenal. This was supposed to be the year.
The house always wins.
Liverpool still to go to Villa. Another bloodbath incoming.
This for Liverpool and Arsenal feels like the Arsene Wenger Arsenal days where they'd go out of every competition in the space of a week or two in February. Only difference now is they've postponed it to April.
That finish by Watkins :chief:
Am I reading it wrong or are these two teams not 2 points behind Man City with 6 games to play?
What a terrible afternoon for sky sports
Yeah, that's Blockbusters.
I'm only going under the assumption that the implementation in Football Manager is accurate mind you, but you get drawn against two teams of each pot and one of them is at home and the other one away, so seeding seems to have no meaningful impact once you are in the group stages.
I believe you still have teams separated into 4 pots. You then get a home and away game from a random draw against each pot. You can get lucky and get the two easiest teams from each pot, or you could get the two hardest.
I actually think people will prefer the new format once they get used to it.
Perfect weekend for Manchester blue.
Grief.
The away treble must have been tasty odds.
Havertz and Jesus can't play together.
Didn’t nail it.
Leverkusen
Kane must be seething.
Went to the game today. I’ve always been not Pro Nunez but thought there was something that could be worked with this past week and seeing him in the flesh for the first time since before Christmas has 100% changed my mind. 4th/5th choice for chaos, he’s a decent option but he is not it and he is never going to be the man. he is literally an attack killer at the minute.
Far too safe these past two games, Gakpo was the only player who dribbled and took someone on today and when he did we consequently looked a bit more dangerous the rest of it was just shifting the ball left to right with no real plan of how to break them down once they scored.
The drop off from Mane, Salah and Firminio with Jota off the bench is massive now and that’s probably what costs the league more than anything else.
It was a Good Ebening.
He still does it all his interviews too – I love him.
What an organisation. That said, no harm he's gone.
Pochettino refusing to let palmer play off the right again. It’s like he never watched the Sheff Utd mess
This Chelsea back 4 would struggle to keep clean sheets in the championship.
Palmer
Happy now? :D
3rd top scorer in the league, mental stuff. Most goals by a Chelsea player since Diego Costa. 3 more for the most since Drogba in 2010.
Perfect hat trick
You could get eight that this rate.
Does Southgate play Palmer?
Southgate's choice paralysis will kick in and we'll wind up with a compromised midfield three or something.
I've seen a lot of stuff about Branthwaite playing for England, based on this display he's closer to being returned to Easter Island.
They were comparing Bruno goal contributions to Salah a few years back when I said he was a poor player. You can't be getting to the top with a complete lack of physicality like this chinless lad.
He’s about a foot taller than you Mr Hobbit
One thing I'll say against Pochettino, all this arguing over penalties is seriously unbecoming. Tell them who's taking the fucking penalty.
Madueke needs sending to the reserves for having done this twice. Under Sir Alex or someone he'd be playing for St Mirren next year.
What was the pen even for?
It's a team of children who think they're playing an individual sport. 5-0 up though, fuck the scousers.
