That tackle on Salah in the box there is an example of something that's always confused me. Why is it if you were tackled late outside the box you'd get a freekick but if you're tackled late inside the box after you've had a shot it's not a foul?
I thought the exact same thing.
Matip the playmaker.
Gateshead smashed Blyth 3-0. That'll teach 'em. Matchday 18 of 42 :|
I don't think there's anything less sustainable than non league trying to play 42 game seasons. Even a bit of rain normally causes teams to have 5/6 games in hand.
Aye. That match was originally postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Also, that 18/42 appears to be a mild lie. That was our 25th league game. Top goes straight up, next six go to playoffs.
We look ridiculous. The favela cunt already looks up to speed so that's injury to Salah/Mane covered and that midfield depth makes claims of us being light there so good :D Trent and Alisson stay fit and we're getting no less than a double.
Some 'professor' slag on QT has just said on Zouma: "anyone who can treat a small animal like that can probably treat a small child in the same manner". Peak white people shit :D
It feels like you’ve drawn every single game this season against anyone half decent or away from home. I think the defence will get exposed too much in the Champions League to win it. Fuck knows who is winning it though. City won’t, they’ll lose in a lol fashion. Chelsea aren’t winning anything with Sarr or Alonso at left back. Real Madrid’s pensioner midfield won’t be carried by Vini all the way.
Man Utd are going all the way
Whoever beats Bayern wins it.
Not sure there can be any argument with the Martinelli sending off, I thought he could have gone for the initial one the clown.
It's Phonics on Arsenal lads. Move along now..
I don't see the red. Both are borderline yellow and given the poor lad doesn't know he's on a yellow, you'd give the benefit of the doubt. Put it like this, some English sweetheart like Saka or Foden ain't getting the same treatment, the favela tax is high.
Not to mention it’s happened before.
By borderline I mean there wouldn't he uproar if either of them weren't given as isolated moments in a game. Factor in thay they've just occured B2B and punishing both results in a red and it's a bit autistic to go through with it when you can see the player is riled up momentarily and just needs to be talked to and calmed down (after brandishing a yellow obvs).
The ref has clearly decided between both offences that the first one in his mind is a nailed on yellow card, so when he goes and does the second one moments later, internally the ref now has a dilemma. It was odd to see, but he's 100% right in my view. He'd be doing himself a disservice if he bottled it and let him off with the first one, even if the audience would be none the wiser.
I've just watched it. "Borderline" :D
You are an even bigger mong than Magic these days.
Nonsensical reply about Ronaldo, Greenwood or accusing me of being a paedo in 3, 2, 1....
Jesus, you ok hun?
It's about reffing the game as a human rather than a computer. There are emotions involved, if a player lashes out by all means get him off but Martinelli just has the red mist at being dispossessed and carries out 2 soft offences.
Literally everything you say is just complete bollocks. On any topic.
It's top tier officiating from Oliver.
The Don logic is just first rule of refereeing (always make the most cowardly available decision) - although this time he didn't, so fair fucks to Michael Oliver who is probably the best there is as far as England is concerned.
That flamboyant Spanish ref always seems great to me but apparently the fans over there think he's awful. Maybe they just hate Llamas.
Fans always think their own refs are awful, because they're emotionally charged idiots.
Victor Gomes is my new favourite after AFCON.
Bit early to be on the sauce.
Well clearly he never saw Woodgate's Real Madrid debut.Quote:
Jürgen Klopp has described Luis Díaz’s full Liverpool debut as “one of the best I ever saw” while insisting the new signing needs time to adapt to the Premier League.
The great thing about Ronaldo is that while he might be a lumbering oaf these days at least he'll definitely score any good chances that come his way.
Southampton are a proper mess defensively. Fun to watch but I wouldn’t be surprised if Man Utd score 4/5 as Southampton are the perfect team for them.
Broja might score a few himself mind
United are juuuuuuuuuust about threatening to look like a competent football team lately.
With the caveat that we're playing the worselisest teams in the league and failing to put them away.
The proper teams, like Middlesbrough, still show you up. Levels.
That Sancho goal was definitely going to roll into the goalie if the defender hadn't slid in, wasn't it?
100%.
I don't want this to come across the wrong way, but Luke Shaw's arse is looking unusually sizeable today, even for him.
That is a beautiful finish from Che Adams
Nah, lads. United are playing so much better under Ragtime.
How’s he not booked Luke Shaw there? :D
Not phwoar at all, unless you're a fitness coach looking for clients.
Stonewall pen on Maguire there.
Maguire is a useless lump.
