Played a bit last night and followed it up with post-beers Champs tonight for the first time in an age.
Strolled to 11-2, but didn’t have it in me to push to 14 wins as I’ve gotta be in a horrendous car journey to Brighton tomorrow.

Did a few picks and got OTW Varane, FB Sancho (can sell the one I sniped yesterday) and a couple of poor boards. Did the FUTTIES pack and it has Sancho, SS KDB (93 rated) and 87 Ginter in it. I revealed a player at a time and Ginter was first. I thought I was fucked

It's dawned on me today that Futties is also a big fail so far. While the fodder's increased from opening packs the means with which to get them has also got harder. That Prem Cup has utterly fucked the PL SBC and the others are through the roof as people pile in on them and the supply of cards gets soaked up, so as far as fodder is concerned we're back to where we were.
Then you move onto the players worth packing in batch 1 and only about 10% are, which basically leaves us like any other promo, with the handful of desireable cards being absolutely unpackable.
The game is crying out for grindable menu content to improve the chances of packing the unpackable players, and there just isn't any.
I did the 95+ SS pack and then ripped the 85+ and 84+ packs.
Maddison was the best of the bunch (most expensive, anyway) so I thought I'd try him out. Nobody too exciting in the packs but Bday Dybala is pretty usable. With the influx of fodder I picked up De Paul and Cavaleiro

Worth it IMO.
Won 5 cup games to get to 18 from 20. Headliner 90 Diaz from the pick but I cant open the pack due to the Forsberg and Sancho being dupes.
Prime pack out and its monumentally dogshit. Like September levels.
My 85x10 was horrific, worse than Nep's bad.
But, two things.
Forsberg was the face card, which genuinely had me sat there in disbelief, so somehow it wasn't as bad as I thought after that and there's enough there to re-roll tomorrow.
Nothing exciting out of the 85x10 but enough to rinse it again tomorrow. I just want Kante, FFS. Prime back was 100% banter, as usual.
Finished up the Chelsea guys. Got a feeling that the fullbacks at CB meta is gonna come back as the CBs aren't keeping up pace-wise and the FBs are top tier defensively. I played Reece James and Dan James at CB + RB. Might be the end of Flashback Varane.

I am not sure he is worth 17 more than the other one. Which is the equivalent of the 93+ SS pack and a fodder pack.
After all the fodder and the 95+ SS. I am going to have 16 to play with. The 92 Kimpembe has been tempting but I have so many Ligue Un CM's
Edit: Though I just compared them again and that defending difference is big. So it depends on how you plan to use him.
