Nakamura gives me proper old school wrestling goosebumps.
Is that tragic?
Problem is that Smackdown can't afford to lose much but they have to to make the 'shake-up' a thing.
They've done a better job of building up what they have so you'll probably see Raw benefit from some of the work done on Smackdown and then SD get the guys who could do with a bit of a career rehab.
Please to see Nakamura turn up (it's safe to say I've never been so happy to see a violinist) though that whole bit was a bit weird. I hope it's not actually going to be the seed for a feud with Miz because having him come off a Wrestlemania match where he deserved to be given the win only to have his face kicked off by Nakamura...
If Nakamura puts in the work and applies himself, I believe he could be the next Smackdown No 1 Announcer
I'm assuming they'll shuffle everyone about a bit and end up with different but more equally balanced rosters, although I think they'll still want their favourites on Raw. Hard to think who else could come up from NXT, DIY and Asuka maybe but other than that everyone is still rather new.
I'm watching some Raw recap, and I think they've missed a trick not giving Roman Reigns Undertaker's gloves.
He should've come out in the hat and coat as well, not too dissimilar from what AJ did after beating Cena

That might have been a bit much, since you can't be seen mocking him, but having his PURE STRIKER gloves would be good for his gimmick.

Such shit fans.
Miz running like John Cena is brilliant.
Also, the Andre trophy looks like it's made of butter and cost about five pence.
Not that different from Mojo himself, then.
Nice to see Nakamura coming up (the violin bit was pretty good) but feuding with the Miz? Not sure that's a great idea, neither of them really need to lose their next feud.
Shibata had to go to hospital after his mental match with Okada.
13 moves were made last night, some odd and some expected. All but one from Smackdown to Raw so far:
Bray Wyatt
Dean Ambrose and IC Title
The Miz and Maryse
Heath Slater and Rhyno
Alexa Bliss
Apollo Crews
Kalisto
Mickie James
Curt Hawkins
And David Otunga is now going to commentate on Raw with Byron Saxton heading to Smackdown with JBL and Tom Phillips.
I'm guessing Kevin Owens and the US Title will go to Smackdown, Sami Zayn, a tag team and one of the main Raw women. Maybe Titus O'Neil and another midcarder to fill some gaps.
Charlotte has to go to Smackdown, that was obvious before last night but even more so now. She's faced everyone on RAW about 67 times while winning her 36 championships.
The Miz and Ambrose opening was the most entertaining opening to RAW in years.
Good of them to remove any shred of doubt about who was winning the Orton/Wyatt rematch.
Wyatt created the match (in kayfabe) of course he's losing.
He was losing whatever the match type was, gimmicky disaster-to-be or a straight singles. They could at least pretend to give a toot.
I hear JBL might be getting the sack for bullying other wrestlers.
If anything, I think moving Wyatt to RAW makes him winning more likely. Simply because no one will be expecting it now at all. They did something similar with Edge beating Cena after being drafted or something I think.
What I would like to see happen (never will though) is KO goes to Smackdown (that part will surely happen) and Wyatt wins the belt. KO then acts like he's the World Champion on Smackdown but Shane creates a tournament for a new belt which pisses off KO. Before the final match happens, KO cashes in his Universal Title rematch (which he explicitly said on TV he could have any time he wanted before anyone says THIRTY DAYS.... but I fully expect WWE to forget all about that) with Lesnar and wins that, nullifying the tournament and turning the title match into a contenders match. It's kind of similar to what they did with JBL back in the day when he "won" a World Title and then Batista got drafted and so he never got it.
Unfortunately, as I say, it'll never happen. They'd never give someone deserving the rub over Lesnar. They'll just feed him to Roman at Mania.
But yea, not sure it's changed anything in the Wyatt match, he was never getting it back. He never should have got it in the first place.
Said somebody fifteen years ago. I would be sacking Braun Strowman. If he can turn ambulances over, everyone he touches will almost certainly die.
I liked that the ambulance falling over made the noise of an anorexic stepping on a slightly creaky floorboard.
Surprise, surprise Cornette likes JBL.
So when is Haitch going to sign The Young Bucks to feud with The Delete Brothers?
Shibata has had great push this year and is definitely a future title holder. Okada is just a freak he has had nothing but quality matches since I have started watching NJPW and I highly recommend going back to his match v Omega followed by his match v Suzuki.
Shibata's Japan Cup run is worth an eye as well especially his very stiff match with fellow strong style mentalist Ishii. Ishii's 4.75 star 1st round match v Omega is another cracker.
The best thing about NJPW is how much they rotate their roster.
Thank Christ they didn't break up Zayn and KO.
It's a whole load of meh in comparison.
I'm into Feb 2001 and while I know the payoff for the Linda McMahon coma story is going to be great it really is incredibly creepy. Can you imagine the meeting where Vince pitched it?
To himself.
Bischoff and Cornette are going to on the same Table for 3 (along with Hayes, but who cares about him) which could be good.
Remind me what your trawl is? Is it all the TV shows or something? When I'm done with mine very soon I think I'll make a start on some of the WCW stuff.
I started at the first episode of Raw and watched all the PPVs too, I might consider folding Smackdown in once the first draft happens.
Are you watching every match on each PPV?
Most of them, at this point the mid-card is pretty great so there's no need to skip very much.
Okay so Shibata's injury is an almighty work.
William Regal as Commissioner.
What year did Mark Henry have sex with the old lady?
When the old lady gave birth to a fully grown adult hand because someone punched her in the stomach was the day my wrestling dream died. I never tuned in again.
2000, I watched that not long ago. In the grand scheme of things it's firmly in the silly bracket, it's nowhere near as bad as the corpse rape stuff or even some of the general attitudes on show basically every week.
I was 12. A fat man was having sex with an old lady and they gave birth to a hand. It wasn't the bad sexual politics of it all that put me off.
Stop wasting your time and watch NJPW you cunts
Speaking of Network trawls, Cody/Goldust vs. Rollins/Reigns for the Rhodes' jobs / tag titles isn't on the level of Malenko / Scotty 2 Hotty for biggest surprise classic I've found on the Network but it was still a corker of a match.
EDIT: Onto Hell in a Cell '13 and the opening tag match of Rhodeseses vs. Usos vs. Reigns/Rollins. Cole and Lawler both start talking about there being three men in the ring at any given time.
I bet NJPW waste their time on commentators who understand what they're commentating on.
Metlzer said it's probably to cover something else.
They just call it like a sport.
Just a case of my internet autism kicking in.
