Channel Nine has told Queensland health authorities that they risk Origin III being a “technical failure” as a television spectacle.
As it stands, Nine’s commentary team of NSW-based pundits such as Phil Gould, Ray Warren and Andrew Johns won’t be allowed to travel to Brisbane for Wednesday’s decider.

“They’re welcome to come but they will have to quarantine for 14 days,” Dr Jeannette Young said.

Argentina smashing the All Blacks in the forwards.
25 - 15 Argentina.
The All Blacks were never in it.
That was as poor as I've ever seen us play. Argies had the same game plan that England used in the World Cup, and we came up with the same result.
Dan Coles is a fucking moron he needs to be dropped.
The squad definitely has an attitude problem and I blame Sam Cane who is the weakest All Black captain of my lifetime.
I hate that Cheika was involved in that win.
Second loss in a row? That can't have happened very often in recent years, Shirley?
Has to be the first time it has happened without the Springboks involved.
Just watched some videos of this Paasi bloke and jeez, him and Walmsley in the same team is gonna make a few of the younger lads who face us think about switching to Union. Looks a beast. :flex:
The last time we lost back-to-back was in 2011.
These Georgians are an ugly lot.
Considering their national vehicle is the 'ute' why are Australians seemingly unable to pronounce 'u' [you] properly in any other word? Day-boo? Fuck off. I'm not sure even the yanks roll with that. Poomas? Seriously
Dayboo and dahhta always take me aback.
That is just a Union thing normal people dont have that problem.
@niko_cee
Do you say maroon as 'maroan' all the time, or is that a specific Queensland team nickname?
Im half bogan so everything is maroan.
The misses and her son say maroon but they also use the Queens english when pronouncing France, dance, glance etc
The guy who presents Supercars always says dahhta.
Yep Im guilty of that one as well.
I pronounce debut properly for some reason.

The last New South Wales side to win across the border was pretty good, even carrying Braith Anasta.
We're gonna do 'em tomorrow Queenslander cobber.
Bloody oath!

Walking round the house like.
:D
Might drive down to the border and scream at all the cars on the NSW side trying to get in.
Yeah I know a couple Sam.

I like how a couple of defeats have sent them into existential meltdown.
It has been very enjoyable living in Brisbane this week where every second person is from New Zealand.
We've got them down that left edge.
Cameron Munster, or Josh Papalii for killing James Tedesco.
Munster feels like he will be the next future Bellamy Immortal.
Valentine Holmes has been rubbish. Everyone else excellent.
I'll get a lifelike Wayne Bennett mask and wear it when I'm stressed.
All is forgiven Wayne it is time to come home. :(
lols at Cameron Smith selling his book around, sets Brad Fittler's heroic return to club coaching back ten years, and wins an Origin shield in a fourth different decade (either side of not coaching them for seventeen years). What a day. I bet Anthony Seibold has smashed his entire house to bits as well.
:D
Seibold coked out of his brain crying into a Souths polo.
Smith's book would have to be boring surely?
Mark Hunt knocking Gallen out cold in the first 10 seconds will cap off another great year for the big fella.
You would think so wouldn't you. He probably could write a great book calling everyone names, but he's the last person in the world that ever would. He's also too much of a CHAMPION BLOKE to make an interesting pundit, and too conscious of his legacy to walk into any old coaching job (or Gold Coast shirt), so it will be interesting to see what he does. He should come to Super League and do a couple of seasons at scrum-half without ever breaking into a sweat.
Moving to England would actually be a smart move.
12 months is such a long time in the NRL. Did Inglis really beat his missus or is that false memory?
Just caught up with Origin, lol at that not being a penalty try. No one was going to catch him (he was closest to the ball when taken out, going full tilt and is, apparently, 'the fastest man on the planet'), the ball stopped in the in-goal so it wasn't going to run out, if the logic is he might have fumbled the grounding then when would you ever award a penalty try? Someone could always drop the ball. I get some of the slippery slope logic about how far from the line could someone like Addo-Carr be and be extremely likely to score, but the answer is surely quite far out if he's in a footrace with someone to get to a ball which has stopped in-goal, and in the instant example, he was nailed on to score.
You're never getting a penalty try that far out. He could have pulled up or had an asteroid hit him in the time it would have taken to score. Elsewhere, the new Lebanon coach is... Michael Cheika, apparently as a prelude to a full-time code switch. Imagine him seething at the bunker.
Half the Waratah squad will turn out to be Lebanese.
Cameron Munster cleaned out $4000 worth of beer in one bottle shop near Byron.
One sleep untill Christmas for that bloke.
@Lewis
Bailey Hodgson must be pretty good?
He's meant to be quite good, and even if he ends up back here in two years playing reserve grade over there will be better for him than waiting around here.
Good to have Saints back tonight.
Catalans started like a train last week against Leeds, but couldn't sustain it.
They'd basically had a five week break before that Leeds match (they phoned it in at Salford two weeks before), so it will be interesting to see how they go tonight.
Dropping like flies, man.
I don't think I've seen an exciting Super League game since it came back. Jack Welsby is a proper natural.
