Ajax are tasty too.
Also put a couple quid on Napoli, Sporting, Ajax, Hull, Blackburn and Tranmere for the lulz which returns £600.
Napoli and Napoli -1.
I love this game.
:moop:
I blame Taz.

I have no idea who the fuck Paul Haley II is but La Computadora as it's known this week likes the cut of his jib. He won the Memorial Health Championship last year on the KFT. I like the sound of that sponsor, got all angles covered. Presumably their main business is in health, but if that fails they do a cracking memorial to make up for it.
Are there any free APIs available with live bookies odds? The only aspect of my spreadsheets not automated is that and it’s highly annoying, especially for golf.

AC Milan vs. Salzburg

Shakhtar vs. RB Leipzig
My horse came 4th today.
I like Forest at almost 3s and I like Bournemouth at over 5. Maybe a little of Brighton too.
On the treble and BTTS treble too.
£5 on Martinelli to score, Arsenal win and Koulibaly sent off at 170s
Edit: apparently koulibaly is on the bench. Fuck off Potter, you mong
It will be Azpilicueta off anyway.
Arsenal -1/-2 is tempting but odds aren’t as good as I thought they’d be
Get a whiff of our price
On all manner of Liv bets but the pick is Salah to score in both halves at 20.
If it wasn't for this prick Henley I'd be legally classified as a high net worth individual.
The Computer raking it in.
Detry missing a T10 with a bogey on the 16th sums my selections up atm. Rancid.
Detry is a great golfer and was a good pick for this but in contention Sundays you might as well have me out there swinging a roll of wrapping paper. God help him if he makes the Ryder Cup next year, which isn't impossible.
I was too late with the golf picks this week :(
Top effort Jim, a good return on the stake despite the fly in the ointment.
I came out about 2.5x up although I massively overstaked on Scheffler. Today's 62 a nice touch for sure.
Nam Dinh v Hai Phong
Missed it :( Low odds one, yeah?
Was 2/5 when I looked.
Osasuna are 3/1 to beat Barcelona. It’s 1-1 with 25 mins left and Barcelona have 9 men. Am I missing something?
Edit: never mind it’s just 10 men, pique was on the bench when he was sent off.
Do like these stages of EFL and trying to read the lineups like the savant I am.
Decent Wolves lineup against a very inexperienced Leeds lineup of mercurial U18 talent and backup players. Wolves -1 and Wolves&O2.5 double.
Anything from The Computer this week, Jim?
Yeah, I've had it sent to psychological experts but they have just shrugged their shoulders and sent it back.

On Villa. Hopefully Eriksen and Casemiro don't see action till the game is gone.
William regal dropped a classic “I had a bet at 10/1. It came in at twenty past four” line while commenting on AEW dynamite this week.
Is he still wrestling? That's mad.
Nah commentating.
Jericho and to a lesser extent Billy Gunn still do though. And Sting.
Big Tony four shots clear after two rounds, pursued by titans of the game such as Tyson Alexander and Carl Yuan. I'm choosing full confidence in a changed man.

Solid return from Bez & Green. Shame Dahmen is bottling it.
My last 12 months on Sky Bet I am stakes 3390 returns 6154. When are they going to ban me? I'm almost feeling belittled.
Filthy.
Darwin Nunez golden ball (EW 4 places)
Kane being 7/1 for top goalscorer seems decent value
England, France, Portugal to all finish bottom of their groups is a very generous 57,000/1. Worth a quid.
Is it?
If France manage to finish below both Australia and Tunisia, it will be a top effort even by their standards.
Markets pretty tight this week, computer almost going on strike apart from these four minor fancies.

Glad it's you as well. I only do PGA Tour and it returned fuck all. Might end up doing a single bet at below par odds just for involvement.
Clear out of here this weekend lads, the good times are back in here for the next month. I might even do a <1.1/1.2 odds system bet and fully relive the golden days.
Any WC bets?
You should jack your job in and just do what James does Jimmy.
Obviously you're tooboringsensible to do so, but it would make for an amazing thread. After your first Million you could go to Vegas and put it all on red or black.
I've just had Bruno G added for top goalscorer, most assists and golden ball on 365 so lump on boys.
Choo choo.
Since Taz feels insecure at mention of sports other than pleb-ball, these are my highly scientific World Cup bets:
Winner Spain 8/1. I have them as the second best side, narrowly behind England (7/1). Strangely, being in a tough group with Germany (10/1) might actually help them. A 2nd place finish would send them on a possible route of Belgium-Portugal in the next two rounds as opposed to hitting Brazil in the QFs. Semis onwards is basically a toss-up or decided on smaller things.
Semi-finalist United States 14/1. I quite fancy the chances of whoever comes second in England's group. Their run will face the winner of Group A (which might be the Dutch, but also might not be) and then likely Argentina. However, if not Argentina there are quite a lot of routes to the spot being Denmark or Poland instead, which would be winnable on their day for Wales or USA. I'm taking the States, with fresher players and more depth, over the taffs.
Golden Boot Robert Lewandowski 40/1. I am stunned that Lewandowski is so long, ranking alongside Karim Adeyemi, who off the top of my head could play for almost any of the 32 teams. Poland play Saudi Arabia in their second group game, by which time the hapless geordies will already have been thrashed out of sight by Argentina. Poland may well have drawn with Mexico first up and will fancy a hatful to set the Mexicans a tough target in the final match. If Poland qualify - which I think they will - a second round match with France seems a candidate for a nice 5-3 defeat in which our hero can run up another couple and take his tally to six or seven. If France are upset in Group D, the possibilities are more delicious yet.
South Korea to lose all group games, 6/1. Portugal and Uruguay should be clear to progress from this group, but I can't understand why the market thinks Ghana inferior to the Koreans. Korea scored just 13 times in 10 while qualifying from by far the weaker Asian group, while Ghana have a number of progressive players and ejected Nigeria. I have them 19th of the 32, with Korea 26th. If this 6/1 is maybe a 4/1 or 5/1 for the Ghanaians to win that match, it represents great value for me.
Golden Ball Lionel Messi 8/1. Argentina to reach the final is 10/3, and for me the two bets are almost the same thing. He is fav but how can you turn this down?
Total goals 171+, 2/1. There were 169 goals at 2018, and I haven't exactly seen defending come back into fashion since then. Stone age cloggers like Iran and England will be a drag on this but some group stage mismatches should help it along. It's also a good interest bet.
Pens scored (inc shootouts) Over 37.5, 5/6. I haven't done the sums on this, but in the VAR age you just need one monster shootout and surely you've won the line here. Also an interest bet.
Group G Serbia to qualify 11/10. I have Serbia rated 11th in the tournament, higher than Switzerland (13th), and besides, I think it's high time the Swiss got dumped out of one of these things early. Cameroon could be spoilers as they're no mugs, but I can see the Serbs giving Brazil a game while the meek Swiss limp to a 2-0 loss.
Denmark to progress further than Belgium, 11/10. I feel this shouldn't be odds against, purely because Belgium have 3 noteworthy games in their group and the Danes have 1.
Most assists Pedri 25/1. Spain have the odd glut in them and Costa Rica/Japan may be ripe for a 6-0 with Pedri assisting four. Messi, Neymar et al at 5/1 for this seems short.
"which would be winnable on their day for Wales or USA"
:happycry:
This is why pleb-ball isn't for you, son.

They all Skybet, Jim? Might deposit on my mums account and join you.
Our sweepstake at work is £25 a pop. Imagine blowing £25 for fucking Saudi Arabia or Iran lol.
£500 to charity is the selling point. I was not sold.

Pandemic Princess 2030 Kempton
Yeah, terrible. Was sent a tip showing a massive stake on it :D
I drew Argentina in our sweepstake, which I'm pretty happy about. One guy got Qatar and Saudi Arabia as his 2 choices :D
That would be Mahow if we did a sweep.

The far superior Jimmy Floyd Method has Ghana 19th as opposed to worst. I have England best and Costa Rica worst. We shall see who prevails.
JFM:
1 England
2 Spain
3 Germany
4 Brazil
5 France
6 Argentina
7 Portugal
8 Belgium
9 Holland (the JFM does not recognise 'The Netherlands')
10 Denmark
England have three games set up perfectly for bottling. If Iran can scum a 1-0, England will cower and finish with 2 points bottom of the group.
Actually, Wales will probably do them in the last game.
I've had these from the first round of games:
Qatar - Ecuador o2.5 @2.62
Iran +1.25 vs England @2
Senegal vs Netherlands +1 @1.85
USA DNB vs Wales @1.8
Saudi Arabia +2.0 vs Argentina @1.95
Argentina - Saudi Arabia u2.5 @2.2
Tunisia DC vs Denmark @2.8
Probably have the + and unders in Germany and Spain's first games as well.
As another regular in this thread might say, the computer knows all. Possibly. It is this computer's first outing.
Not a chance there will be less than 3 goals in that Argentina match
The underdog ones all look pretty stinky when applying the common sense test, which is probably why the spreadsheet likes them.
Oh, my bad, I messed up the formatting. Should be Senegal +1 (asian) vs Netherlands.
Given how public this now is, I doubt anything dodgy will go down.
£10 on Qatar 1-0 and £10 on Qatar 1-0 with most goals in the second half.
Cheeky £3 on Qatar and Almoez first scorer.
Is that how they won the Asian Cup?
I'm on it, purely because of FOMO. 13/2 I think it was.
I get banned for Phonics having a 4.7% abv rather than his usual 4% Coors but the usual suspects make a mockery of a continent because of blue-tick twitter posting shite. I guess they have to get their kicks somehow now that Ukraine have been outed.
You seem to be in some kind of weird existential crisis, caught between the evil white man and the favouritised #BLM minority. My advice is to load up on gammon and join the winning team. Team 2 has no future, as the Ayatollah is finding out.
Qatar 1-0 first half is surely the bet now. That way NOBODY will know.
It's nonsense. They'd bribe the refs if anything.
And people lolled at Jim saying that 14/1 bet on them to make the knockouts was daft.
888 Sport offering £5 free bet every time your team wins when you stake £10 on an outright win pre tournament, seems pretty decent.
I have also backed:

Saudi TQ @8
Belgium NQ @4.75
Morocco TQ @3.25
Cameroon TQ @5

Free £10 bet on Ecuador, Netherlands, Argentina -2.5, Denmark, Poland, France-1.5 and Croatia @ 115s
Ah bollocks you edited it before I pressed quote :(
[/Omg] was my favourite bit of an all round excellently formatted post
I have money on Iran and Iran 1-0.
Plus England not to qualify from their group.
Ecuador provided scenes today. Too much nerves and bias to get on anything in Iran game beside Taremi FGS at about 15. Is also penalty taker and an incredible penalty winner (:baz:). Very hard to see where else a goal comes from in our starting XI.
I'll follow with Taremi FGS.
This game has started well so I'm on BTTS, O2.5 and O3.5.
I just realised I’ve bet on Asian Handicaps instead of normal - got a 3 fold of England -2, Dutch -1 and USA -1 - if the US win 1-0 does it effectively become a double or am I clueless as to what the difference between the two handicaps are
Masterclass from Mahow today.
A Taz-esque run :(
I'm also on overs 2.5 and 3.5 in this game which doesn't look likely.
Can you bet on Argentina to win 4-0 or 6-0 tomorrow please, mahow
I got you.
https://i.ibb.co/RhMFT7K/33-B83864-7...8146748-D2.png
Definitely finishing 4-0. Hopefully there’s a decent cash out at half time as I’m in meetings all day in the office (for once lolz) which is annoying. Imagine if they’re 2/3-0 at half time I’ll be getting at least £300/400 offered
I want to bet on O 4.5 in that game though...
It has to come in eventually I suppose
It is part of my bet builder so it could still come in and I can still fail.
Godspeed Waff

Bet builder off to a decent start.
Also got £5 on Argentina to win both halves & most corners in each half + the same for France.
£300 cash out at the minute. If it’s 3-0 at half time might just cash it out if over £500 as not sure I’ll be able to watch much of 2nd half.
Edit: nvm it was chopped off, back to £200
Bet builder already dead because Argentina can't time their runs properly
The dream is over. At least I can let it run now
Im on -3 but piled more on -2 at evens at HT.
Dream's dead, Waff.
I blame the two above. We go again.
It's all Taz.
I wasn't on any Argentina handicap.
Trying to get on Eriksen Golden Ball for the narrative at 50/1 but it's suspended everywhere.
Back up on 365. 66/1. £25 on.
Honestly think that's a terrible bet, narrative or not
Fuck outta here, Igor
He’s been brilliant for Man Utd and if Denmark get to a semi final (which isn’t hugely unlikely) he definitely has a chance as for them to get there he’d have to be playing well. Plus, narrative init
I'm sure (from previous memory) that Golden Ball gets awarded going into the final, so you'd do very well for it not to be from one of the finalists.
Yeah, if you're looking for a Modric repeat then it's final as a minimum, and Denmark aren't getting to the final.
Messi already has the 'narrative' award sewn up, even if Argentina are shite.
Weird behaviour regardless from Mr Igor

Mbappe hat trick 22/1.

Done another correct score treble of 5-1 France, 2-1 Croatia and 3-0 Belgium. Thought we were off to a great start again. At least the handicaps have come in.
Expect some bore draws.
I'm going on overs all day.
Done a load of Japan player cards (Sakai, Endo, Kamada, J Ito) plus Neueur. 1000/1 lol
Overs plus Musiala to score.
Overs finally coming in!
Edit: Over 2.5 and 3.5 in the Spain/Costa Rica game.
In game on O6.5 and 7.5.
Let's hope for a fisting.
If they're nerd smart (which most football people aren't), they'll foresee a possible 6-6-6 finish in this group and go for a glut here.
Didn't think they'd do it.
Still 6 minutes left for the eighth if they want it.
Got on 6-0 at HT
Over 3.5.
Belgium -1 at 4 after Canada price has crumbled.
This guy is relentless, check the time of my post, you ferocious fangirl :D
Rodriguez FGS at 20
Skipped the first game. Overs in this one though.
Proper gammon pricing on South Korea at 6. I've piled in.
Mitro AGS + O2.5
Raphina 2+ shots/Brazil over 17.5 tackles/Serbia over 6.5 shots.
Wales
Bale FGS.
If Senegal -1 and England -whateverthefuckwewant also come in, I may retire.
On Enner FGS.
England -4
Actually -3 at 9/1
I don't think we've ever beaten USA in a meaningful match and the USA/draw double chance is 7/4. My bets are hedged.
Seems fairly short - 9/1 to win by 4 clear goals?
USA leave gaps so big you could fit me in them. Baz knows.
Saka 2 or more goals @ 20 for me.
I've bottled -3 but I got 4 figures on -2 and -1. Proper gammon night. I might go powder my face before KO.
Fear not, obvs still massively up, my disgusting friend.
Tonight's performance suddenly makes sense.
O2.5 and Lewandowski to score.
Get on 0-0 lads.
Are Poland going to go for it this time? If they sit back again you're not getting over 1.5, never mind 2.5.
Surely the thought after Argentina lost was to ensure they didn't lose to Mexico and then try to win the GD battle.
If not then fuck knows what they're doing. Playing for 3 draws?
Play for a clean sheet and hope to nick it 1-0. Seems to be in vogue.
Hopefully they come out to score goals.
If they play for a 1-0 they're surely out. I can't see them getting anything against the Argies who will probably need to win and so it's going to be a GD slugfest with the Mexican's who will know exactly how many goals they need.
Although the Polish mentality is always horseshit so who knows.
Even if this comes in (highly doubt it) Poland are just wank.
This is a terrible team.
Lewa 1+ shot on target was 2/1 on William hill.
Messi 1+ shot on target is 2/1 on paddy power.
Max £10, but lewa has just come in.
Penalty missed, woodwork hit twice and Lewandowski missing a good chance near the end.
I'm cursed.
Edit: Mbappe to have 2 or more shots on target and Eriksen to have 1 or more. RIP Mbappe.
Mon Denmark at those monster odds.
Spain 3-0 @ 29
Betfair with a boosted Richarlison to have 1 shot on target @ evens.
£10 max only.
Richarlison 2 or more at 15.
Well there goes my money then.
And a minute later, he's off. Ffs :D
He did not manage it, he was useless.
Should have steered well clear when I saw the Taz bet.
Will hill have Brazil to beat Cameroon at 2.0.
Even if they rotate, they should still throttle them on the break.
Pepe and Nunez to be booked.
Kane and Foden to score, England to win, 3+ goals @ 10/1
Free £5 bet builder for England game on PP. I just done Henderson, Allen, Ampadu and Williams to all be booked
I think I fancy cards in Iran-USA as a rooting interest. 90+ booking points in the game 6/1.
My man Mateu Lahoz to deliver.
Sorry to do this to Jimmy but:
Hosseini/Hajisafi/Ezatolahi/Musah to be booked
Joe Allen/Maguire to be booked
Wales to WIN.
Tunisia to win & BTTS (the French side looks crap) and a card multiple across both games.
Denmark -1
My horse is gonna win on Tuesday.
Costa Rica 24/1 to win today, sticking my £5 free bet on it.
The Germany dicking odds were poor so I've got on Sane and Muller AGS and Over 3 goals at 6.
William Hill boosted Spain and Germany to win both their halves, so let’s hope they don’t take the foot off the gas.
EDIT: lol
It seems I'm cursed even when I don't post in here.
I had £10 on Spain to win on enhanced odds.
Over 5.5 in Brazil game at 10.
Could have been epic scenes but done alright off these.
Japan TQ vs Croatia @2.5

Argentina handicaps. :nodd:
Had a tidy 12.50 on Argentina-1 and Messi ATG. Will return £30. As I'm a coward, as soon as they got the second I put £5 on Australia+2 (returns 27.50), which is basically a rubbish cash out, but I couldn't face the pain of a late Aussie consolation ruining my evening. Guaranteed £10 or £12.50 profit isn't bad though.
Phew
The last 3 are where you'll become undone.
If it’s looking good going into the Spain game I’d be hedging the shit out of that backing Spain NQ.
Of all the 'second tier' sides Morocco offer the biggest threat to Spain. Could easily see Spain going 1-0 up and shutting up shop only to come unstuck.

Forest and Brighton at evens.
Waiting for over 2.5 goals in the remaining PL matches today to return £600 off a 7 fold on all PL matches today being goals galore.

You've had some good bet builders recently. Post them pre-match you cunt so I can get on and curse them.

Fine :D this is mainly for interest but I think Brentford at home and Liverpool's lack of midfield could set up another game like the Villa match.

And it's now cursed, minus the Toney leg.
I've also got this:

Was the Toney injury news late, didn't seem to be on Flashscore when I checked.
Post a new one again Lofty, I dare you.

I will be repeating the winning bet from the Arsenal Brighton match for the Arsenal Newcastle match. Tonight I always fancied Brentford to get something but never thought Liverpool would implode so badly they'd be hooking VVD at half time.
Brighton Fulham double at 5/1 looks value tonight.
Tournament of Champions
Schauffele 11/1

Bit reluctant with Willy Z and his spray-on trousers, as he hasn't played since August or something, but ye cannae doubt the computer.

Obviously the one I didn't get on...
You can get 8/1 on Leicester City to be relegated with some bookies. Get involved.
Surely another loss for the Fosse and it'll be endin' for Brendan?
Time to get on draw and Atalanta, 2-0 down at HT.

That's what I'm on tonight.
Andy Madley reffing Liverpool Wolves tonight, last match he handed out 9 yellows (including booking a sub who wasnt on the pitch), get those booking point bets on chaps.
Never bet on cards in a TV game. I've found this out the hard way over the years.
Cards in an FA Cup third round game between Premier League opponents surely never going to be a goer - it's not the sort of game that is going to carry a sufficient amount of intensity or needle to let a ref lose control.
The only betting portal that works for me isn't yet offering odds for the 2023 V.League?
Is it available on your site? If so, what odds for Hanoi Police (aka, CAND, CAHN, Vietnam Police) for the title?
They only just got promoted, but they've sucked up a lot of good players, as they are corrupt as fuck.
Nothing on mine either. Got Bangladesh, Gambia and Iran Div. 2 but not Vietnam.
Sony Open

Oof, you've reminded me.
Sony
Harman 18/1

Lingmerth 150/1
Streb 250/1
Echavarria is also showing long at 750/1 if anyone wants a mad one, but I'm trying to wean myself off those.
Had a betbuilder on 365 last night, every leg came in and was shown to come in on their site. Check at full time and they chalked off Pereira shot on target having previously shown it as in, letting me down for £180 :moop:
Some twitter kick off about it from others but not confident they will get anywhere.
Seen that mug arguing about a world cup treble that was like argentina vs france final, argentina to win, messi golden ball, and he doesn't understand related betting rules? Of course he rolled out the 'I'd already promised gramps I'd buy him a new motability scooter' at the earliest opportunity.
There's been a few fucks in the papers doing this recently, always been an opportunity to mug the counter girls off but apparently they don't even train them now, just need someone to sit in and watch the zombies play the machines.
Supoosedly other bookies paid out that shot on target :moop:
These bet-builders seem to be very in with the twitter tipsters and the zombies that follow. All the trappings of accies with the added enjoyment of having to keep a count of how many touches the left back has made with his left foot. I'm certainly surprised it's led to disagreements on stats and potentially higher instances of match-fixing (Oxford booking vs Arsenal?).
Are those guys paid by bookmakers to promote stupid kinds of bets? I wouldn't rule it out.
Many are affiliates, yes. I don't use them myself. I find a good rule of thumb in any match that looks tasty (like last night) is: result (unless too close to call), over 2.5 goals, over 2.5 cards, over 6 corners, pick a dangerous player from each team over 0.5 shots on target. Usually comes out at decent odds.
If one team is clearly going to smash the other (Arsenal v Brighton, United v Everton etc) then swap the SOT bet for all the attacking front line of the favourites over 0.5 SOT.
Shots on target always intrigue me. Is there a point at which an aimless punt upfield, that happens to end with the 'keeper [and would have gone in without them intervening] becomes a shot on target?
Oh I know, OPTA even had it as a shot on target initially though so I am grinding this axe for a while yet. I know from friends if you bet regularly and moan enough at them they usually throw you something to shut up.
I feel more sorry for the guy who had Jorginho tackles in his bet that they voided because he didn't start, feels very naughty that one.
I had a look at the ol xG table for the first time in a while last night. West Ham being in credit while sitting in 17th is a good laugh.
As if you needed any other proof xG is nonsense.
What do you mean in credit? Understat has them as biggest underperformers and 9th on xPTS.
Levante pretty much broke xG last season.
Understanding xG was a great step forward in my life. I now treat all its doubters like I treat people who don't like sport: with utter contempt.
xA probably even better.
My Lofty Special on the Liverpool game being let down by Salah not getting a shot on target. :moop:
£15 on Palace at 3/1.
I’ll be utterly shocked if they don’t win with this Jorginho-Gallagher double pivot
Ive gone with lots of goals, cards, fouls and corners at 70/1 for this Arsenal game.
I can get killed for this... But VN prime minister to resign within 24hrs. Odds available anywhere??
And there he goes...

Wholesome.
In addition to my usual card bets I've got money on Paul Mullin to score.
Edit: And Ollie Palmer for a goal too.
Fucking get in there my son.
Never staked so much on a 3/1 shot in my life. Should have been 5/2. Margins.
You'll be getting banned from whatever bookmaker you use. I got banned from Ladbrokes years ago for seemingly small time shit.
I'm surprised I haven't been thrown out, am about three grand up on golf in the last two years. I do help my cause by losing on other sports, though.
Sometimes I think it's patterns more than money won. I got booted from Ladbrokes because I saw a pattern that if Godolphin had more than one horse in a 2yo maiden then bet on the second string. I was up at least £1k over the course of a flat season which isn't mega money but I didn't really bet on anything else horse racing related outside of the big stuff so maybe I got flagged as potentially having inside information. This was about eight years ago so no idea if the pattern is still profitable. My second go round with Paddy Power was pretty middling.
I'm not too clued up on golf but on football the things that bookies chin you for are 1) betting on the obvious misprices that 100 other people are on 2) betting on lines that are value compared to betfair, or that shorten significantly before the off 3) regularly betting anywhere near 100% of the maximum allowed on the selection.
No idea what sort of stakes you're on Jim but chances are it's not too hard for them to manage the risk they take on from your bets by just laying it off elsewhere. Hell they might even have you pegged as a sharp player and value the information your bets give them.
I'm not doing 2) or 3), but I'm pretty much doing 1). I use the same formula that I developed in the first lockdown and would be amazed if others haven't cottoned onto it independently by now, but maybe if there is a herd I'm sufficiently detached from it to evade the censors. It's about 85% data and 15% vibes, the 15% can be crucial in avoiding bad selections but presumably also costs me sometimes, and probably keeps me safe from the algorithms.
Manc has had a better start to 2023 anyway so I can't be that good, but I've found I'm amazingly good at staking in the last year or so. Might just be a lucky run.
Yeah thanks Jim, good shout.
I won my first bet with Stan James about 15 years ago which was a 3 team accumulator, and they limited my account to £2. They went under, so needless to say I had the last laugh.
How can a bookmaker go under?
'Nah, Stan, we can't go with the market on this one. Red Rum 100/1 I reckon.'
They were just hopeless when it came to adapting to being an online bookmaker, must have been headed by a bunch of absolute boomers because Stan James circa 2015 was proper hall of fame gambling. They were bought out by Unibet rather than going bust though iirc.
I'm still claiming the last laugh.

Selling my horse today. :cab:
That was short-lived.
At least it didn't need a bullet.
It still might.
Profit on it, Baz?
Selling to another stable or Iceland?
What happens if you can't sell a horse? Do you take it in turns to go in and muck out the stables until someone takes it off your hands?
Shipped to France for meat.
Who would buy a horse, nevermind a shit horse that other chumps have bought and now want to sell?
It's quite something when it turns out Bazbot wasn't the worst financial decision Baz made in the last year.
Collectively I guess, but individually it’s not even close.
34 of us are in the horse syndicate. I’ve only spent £1k on buying, training and caring for her.
Bazbot was an immediate £5k loss, or £8,667.84 if you consider how high it got.
We'll have a vote and see whether we want to move her up north for a little while and stick at it, or look to just give her away for re-training.
How did Barrington Sr take it?
Wasn’t arsed. Not much phases him tbh.
Actually I repaid his £1k and he sent it back, so I sent him £500 and think we left it at that.
Plus then £400 to TTHers who took me up on the repayment promise, so it was more like £6k immediate loss, vs £1k.
Owning a horse for a year > Bazbot
Lot 225 if anyone wants to watch it live.
I watched for about a minute and I think it's given me an aneurysm.
Making money off horses is a mugs game, I've seen enough of the wife's bint horsey friends try and fail.
Can you not take it to that massive gypsy fair that I've always assumed was up that way somewhere? Sure I've watched a doco of some mug buying a horse there.
Not sold :jayjay:
What happened to the 900 guineas?
Quite the life you lead baz.
You should’ve just created a tik tok channel about garden soccer and made a mint of the youngens.
Anyone's bookies offering odds for next President of VN?
Mr To Lam, particularly.
I looked last time and it appears most UK bookies don't offer odds on politics beyond UK/US.
Ta. I couldn't find anything either.
Southampton u21s are currently @1.70 to win in half an hour and they have at least 4 first team starters in the squad. Seems a bit overpriced
They’ve caught on. Dropping rapidly
Got on at 1.45.
I had £500 on at 1.4 just before kick off, and then stopped and thought "WTF am I doing?" and cancelled it.
I see they won 1-0.
Arsenal record at Goodison not great but Saka Nketiah 1 SOT each 3/1 boost seems like free money on Sky.

Tonight I am thinking of Poveda and Helik in the Blackpool Huddersfield fixture and Bradaric and Danilo in the Juve match. All of them picked up two cards in the last five games.
Bradaric and Danilo are on my radar too.

Horse Racing is a complete basket case this season. Form has well and truly gone out of the window. Avoid Cheltenham at all costs.
All set up for Ahoy Senor to bundle his way through every fence and steam roll up the hill in the Gold Cup.
I’m just glad all these short priced favs have started to look a bit average in the last week. It’s shows how shite racing in general is though when Mullins has 3 massive favourites for their respective races at Cheltenham lose last week odds on and he still wins every race with his 2nd and 3rd string.
Let’s see.

All aboard PSG then :harold:
Both teams are a bit shit. Mbappe will probably be the difference
Woah woah woah, I was under the impression turtleboy isn't fit. Goals galore it is then.
I watched Bayern the other day for a bit and they had fucking Choupo-Moting up top.
Opposing the NARRATIVE with Liverpool -1.0 above evens tonight. Make it 1.6.
Onana Bajcetic card double for me.
I'm on Doucoure/Robertson/Bajcetic, Coleman/Fabinho, Onana/Henderson, Doucoure/Bajectic/Coleman and Onana/Mykolenko/Robertson/Bajcetic.
All 50p bar the quad at the end which is only 25p.
It's a good thing Giggles doesn't come in here. Cracking bet tbf.
Mbappe only fit to come on as a sub. The 16 year-old is going to start it seems which leaves me a little conflicted but Bayern it is.
Fancy Giroud to terrorise Forster and friends tonight.
Had a bit of bad luck with the cards lately but it seems this bet:
https://i.imgur.com/tDkwg1J.png
Actually should be a winner.
Twitter are sure Eccles was booked (especially by those who went to the game) and Skybet have now changed it to him having received a card.
Bet365 are wankers with stuff like this so don't hold your breath.
Zinchenko 9/2 to get booked, free money
No idea why Dortmund are favourites even with Potter at the helm. Chelsea’s record with both these full backs is v good
I have Gabriel/Bernardo yellow card double so fuck VAR. :eyemouth:

I’m all aboard this bookings thing because why not.
Kessie and Bruno.
Bookings
I'm on quite a few.
Are the booking odds for this game pretty shit?
A little below average. Bookies probably think it has the potential to be a bit spicy.
I've got Malacia/Kessie, Bruno/De Jong and Araujo/Fred/Gavi for this game.
Burmy gone to Liv. Goodnight, sweet prince.
https://i.imgur.com/jQBXFYZ.png
So close to a big double with cards tonight. Also had a couple of close misses but I did hit on a Juventus/Nantes card bet @ 10.
Really loving the card bets.
Also, that Eccles change has been massive for some. Just seen this on Twitter:

I think the market may well be sleeping on this one.
£10 on Barnsley, Derby, Plymouth, Sheff Wed, Leyton Orient, Salford and Shishkin @ 88
Alex Moreno & Ben White, Mings & Gabriel, McGinn & Jorginho, Xhaka & McGinn, Moreno & Jorginho plus an Odegaard single (who is massively overpriced) for bookings in this game.
Also signed up to Kwiff before the match to put on Rangers/Bayern/Man City/O2.5 Young Boys & Bern and they put on a random £20 free bet which happened to be Arsenal O1.5 in the first half.
So mon another Arsenal goal.
Missed the start of this one. :(
Bookings bets galore for the 3 o’clocks incoming.
Got on Emi Martinez in play due to his time wasting which has saved the game.
His booking was never in doubt today.
Unlucky Waff.
Shit day for accas.
Trying Bajcetic/Trippier/Joelinton card treble.
Few doubles for me in the game. Hoping for a spicy one.
Little on Newcastle to win @ 5.25.
...
The red has been a killer.
Would still be decent if Joelinton could pick up a card.
And there he is on the floor injured...
Olesen bringing home the bacon.
Didn't get on that in time, you're on fire at the moment. You'll be getting your account restricted you keep landing these :D
Kristiansen/Sabitzer, Dewsbury-Hall/Martinez, Bruno Fernandes/Maddison, Faes/Shaw, Fred/Mendy, Castagne/Kristiansen/Martinez and Dalot/Fred/Castagne.
Mon a bloodbath.
Soumare and McTominay to be booked (singles) in play.
I'm seething.
I got on a boosted price Man United to win, most corners and Leicester most cards bet just before the game kicked off.

Napoli are a mega price tonight, aren’t they? What am I missing?
£10 on Napoli/Burnley/Blackburn/Fleetwood/Stockport @39
£5 Napoli -1/Madrid/Plymouth -1/Bromley @ 122
Yeah, imagine they'd take a draw and Frankfurt look dece but this is the best club side in Europe we're talking about. I'm on us -1.
Bollocks to this playing safe away from home mentality, Napoli should destroy Frankfurt. Their defence is pants and the big lad will torture them.
Added Eastleigh to the 5 fold which returns £770 thanks to Ladbrokes’ bonus thing they offer. Don’t think I’ve ever won a bet midweek.

Not a tip as such but heard all four of these Christian Williams horses have a good chance today.
Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Barnsley, Plymouth, Wycombe, Leyton orient and Falkirk all lovely and overpriced today. Just a case of picking which ones don’t prove the bookies correct.
I will win today.
Yeah I can’t believe the Boro price.
West Brom away is always difficult, hence the Boro price. But I am confident.
Card bets for Coventry/Sunderland:

Fuck off, Dumbarton.

Andy Robertson winning me a double (with Clyne) card bet at the death
Knappe coming back from the dead to T6. Legend.
Yeah nice tip cheers, covers my bets for this afternoon.
Jake Paul to win @ nearly evens
Anyone got a decent stream for this Fury business?
Betting on a fixed fight :D
I don't know but it means someone definitely wont be giving it their best shot so I wouldn't put my money on it without knowing the winner. At least when I had a sniff of Newcastle at half time when they were 25/1 I knew they were gonna go for it.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fp63RLkXwAEwApb?format=jpg
Jake Paul in the final round apparently.
:D
Blackburn could be value tonight, Leicester looked absolutely wank on Saturday.
Was driving so missed most of the tips from the guy I follow and he landed card bets @ 19 & 6.5 today :(
Also missed my piping hot Blackburn tip.
I did indeed.
Thankfully I got on the superboost Bet365 offered on Alvarez & Foden to have a shot on target each plus an accy of Brighton/Eastleigh/Derby/Wrexham/Man City -1.5.
Everything else I actually managed to get on was a bust.
$10 at 5/1 on Vietnam U20 v Australia U20. Just about to kick-off.

Nice, I saw your post but when I looked they were already winning so too late.
Few bookies spamming McIlroy as the choice this weekend, is that the consensus?

Speaking of ponies, I like the following for Cheltenham:-
Facile Vega @ 4 - Supreme Novice. Was poor last time out but all that’s done is give him value
Better Days Ahead @ 11 - Champion Bumper
Imagine @ 8 - Martin Pipe
Shoot First @ 5 - Pertemps
Corbetts Cross @ 4.5 - Albert Barlett
Will put a Yankee on that just to win and not ew in the next few days. Think I’ll just wait until the days leading up or the days itself for rest of bets as much better value ew then compared to now.
Busquets/Araujo/Carvajal, Camavinga/Nacho/Kessie & Kroos/De Jong/Rudiger.
Card bets I'm on for El Wankico.
Following last week's successful punt, I'm on Burnley, Millwall and Rotherham today.
Going to apply the same (nonsensical) logic I came up with on some singles/doubles/trebles in other leagues to see how that goes:
Hradec Kralove, Viktoria Plzen
Bordeaux
Bochum, M'gladbach, Mainz, Union Berlin
Livingston, Rangers, Ross County
Yellow cards in Middlesbrough-Reading game: Tommy Smith, Jeff Hendrick
The ref for the united match has had a few card happy matches so all aboard the card bet train.
Freuler/Gueye, Doucoure/Worral/Colback, Onana/Shelvey/Godfrey.
Also got a double/double between the two games of Onana/Colback/Shaw/Robertson.
O1.5 in Liverpool/United, Leverkusen/Hertha, Wolfsburg/Frankfurt, Betis/Madrid, Reims/Ajaccio, Toulouse/Clermont, Lyon/Lorient.
Inter, BTTS in Liverpool/United, O1.5 in Roma/Juventus.
Reims/Genk/Antwerp/Braga.
BTTS in Liverpool/United, Betis/Madrid, Roma/Juventus.
Saint Gilloise & BTTS/PSV & BTTS/Leverkusen & BTTS.
Chelsea Women DNB 5/1
Liverpool/United cards:
Harvey Elliott
Dalot/Robertson/Bruno Fernandes
Fred/Shaw/Fabinho
Elliott/Antony.
Also on Rashford AGS as well as 2 or more goals and 3 or more.
Fabinho/Fred/Darwin on bookings watch for me.
Fabinho/Robertson/Fernandes bookings here. Meant to stick a fiver on but fucked up and put it on twice so now there's a tenner on it.
United to win.
Hopefully the ref can start handing cards out for fun.
Edit: McTominay to get booked.
A Rashford goal and a Harvey Elliott card would be very handy right now.
Edit: Little nibble on Bruno to be booked as well as sent off.
I think you’ve been on 99% of the outcomes and lost every one
Got on McTominay in play for a booking, O5.5 just before the sixth (just got on O6.5 too) and I had a bet builder come in.
Card bets aren't easy in general though, but low stakes and if they come in they come in big.
Also I have no idea how Bruno hasn't been booked. He's had a couple of naughty challenges, had a couple of dives and even slapped a lino on the arm
Lazio at even money.
I need to stick to the Golf.
On Felicity FGS to give some interest to this otherwise dour affair.

A few weeks sgo, I had VVD making a tackle as part of an acca. bet365 did not count it, but every other stat tracker did. Took them a week to cash out
Fancy Brighton Brentford Chelsea treble.
Lightly Squeeze 66/1 in the 2:25 at Sandown EW (5 places)
I'll take you on with Hardy Du Seuil 12/1.
Brad Todd with the 1 2 3 in the Kenya Open.
Do they not do Crufts markets anymore?
Cheltenham week and I’ve zero excitement for it.
I was like that throughout the jumps season but have quietly been getting excited for it the last couple of weeks. I think it helps that a couple of Mullins’ bombed out at the DRF so not quite so many short priced favs. He’ll probably still win mind.
Day 1 looks fun - when was the last time the Supreme had so many runners? Jonbon x El Fabiola, two big field handicaps for the lolz, Constitution Hill setting records and an excellent Mares Hurdle.
I've absolutely fucked myself at work and I'll only have Friday off.
Perfect for watching Ahoy Senor romp it up the hill having smashed his way through every fence
Facile Vega (13.30), Corach Rambler (14.50), Marie’s Rock (16.10) trixie
Minella Crooner (17.30), Bad (16.50), Jonbon (14.10) trixie
Facile Vega, Jonbon, Tekao (16.50), Oscar Elite to be placed (14.50), Honeysuckle not to place (16.10) 5 fold
Corach Rambler to place, Love Envoi (16.10) to place, Sir Allen (16.50) to place and Conny Hill to win (15.30)
Then I’ve got loads of EW Yankees involving some do the following:-
Doctor Bravo (13.30) 25/1 - lovely price
Strong Leader (13.30) - 40/1
Happygolucky (14.50) 14/1
Iceo Madrik (14.50) 55/1
Teaclipper (14.50) 25/1
Zanahiyr (15.30) 80/1
Samuel Spade (16.50) 18/1
Metamorpheus (16.50) 20/1
Jazzy Matty (16.50) 20/1
Mister Coffey (17.30) 11/1
14.50 and 16.50 ahould both be paying out at least 6 places whoever you bet with
Betway are letting you put £20 on a Irish winner on day 1 @ evens instead of 1-100.
888 sport £20 on first race money back if in top 4. Sky bet £20 on first race money back if it loses. Shame Sky racing odds are horse shit compared to other bookies.
Okay excitements setting in.
Betfair with a £2 free acca for this shit.
Someone throw something up.
Paddy is £5 free bet. Stick it on Facile Vega, Jonbon and Marie’s Rock
Facile Vega
El Fabiolo
Corach Rambler
Constitution Hill
Marie’s Rock
Byker
Gaillard Du Mesnil
All sorts of singles and multiples.
Was meant to only be doing ante but the temptation to deposit into my [mum’s] skybet is real.
Constitution Hill evens Bet 365.
Gone all in on these.
Max £10 lol.
My mate said he put £20 on it. Doesn’t have a max for me either.
The bastards only let me have a tenner.
Let's get the right thread this time.
Draw treble:
Blackpool/QPR
Paris/Amiens
Porto/Inter
Max 10 for me.
This thread when Vauban romps home.
That couldn’t have gone any worse that 1st race. We go again.
Only £47 down now 😎
Corach Rambler 😎
Some horse. Marie’s Rock is pissing the Mares’ so Facile Vega can go fuck himself
What happened there? I was making a small fortune up until that.
Should have went to the stayers hurdle after all. Looked absolutely awful. Need Sir Allen top 4 for £150.
This is great though. De Bromhead seems like a great geezer
Byker lost by a nose :-(
4 of 7 winners today. Obviously well up but would have been so much more if Byker shaded that.
13.30 - Gaelic Warrior
14.10 - Gerri Colombe, Thyme Hill EW
14.50 - Captain Conby, Call Me Lord EW, Icare Allen EW
15.30 - Edwardstone, Greaneteen EW
16.10 - Galvin
16.50 - Third Time Lucki, Sizing Pottsi EW
17.30 - Better Days Ahead EW
I have put money on the fav in the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th race though as Day 2 usually is a day full of them.

Fuck horses.
Late night acca:
BTTS Santa Fe/America de Cali
BTTS Atlas/Olimpia
BTTS Tolima/Equidad
BTTS Philadelphia/Alianza
O2.5 San Luis Quillota/Santiago
O2.5 Alajulense Women/Saprissa.
£5 returns £395.
Wednesday picks:
Impaire Et Passe
Gerri Colombe
Run For Oscar
Edwardstone
Delta Work
Andy Dufresne ()
A Dream To Share
Good Land is Connell's third runner of the meeting, the other 2 winning yesterday.
Bit of comedy from Fergie there.
Stuck a fiver on Bruno Encanto for name significance reasons.
Also quite liked the name of that Real Whacker one [didn't back it though].
Quality interview with the part-owner, JESUS CHRIST! :D
Let's give draws another go:
Cardiff/West Brom
Huddersfield/Norwich
Sunderland/Sheff Utd
10.50 down for the day with one to run. 😎
Been having a dogshit festival until just now:
https://i.ibb.co/TT6NjV6/Screenshot-...34-Sky-Bet.jpg
Lovely jubbly. Shame about Andrew cocking it up.
Well in Lofty.
I had a little nibble today and made a very small profit.
I’m very much in the mud.
Mighty Potter/Shishkin/Flooring Porter/Luccia 4 fold to save the festival tomorrow.
Corberts Cross 14.50 Friday apparently.
Valspar
Rose 20/1
Hadwin 22/1
Suh 28/1
SDC
Schaper 25/1
Cheltenham
I quite like the look of Stage Star in the opener tommorrow. He'll have to go some to beat Mighty Potter, but he looks a tank. Datsalrightgino ran into him in January at the course and has every chance in the Magners Plate.
Thursday picks:
Mighty Potter
Maxxum
Shishkin
Teahupoo
So Scottish
Luccia
Stumptown
I used my free Paddy Power fiver on this EW at 4am:
Mighty Potter
Hector Javilex
Shishkin
Blazing Khal
So Scottish
Magical Zoe
Stumptown
And my free skybet win only fiver (not £2, losers) on Notlongtillmay.
Does that not prohibit best odds guaranteed Baz? Or do you think they'll get backed in?
Today's:
Some tasty odds there
Bet365 have bumped Shishkin to 7/4. Usual max £10 shenanigans though.
Yeah, I can put £20 on. Must be dependant on specific accounts. Same with Paddy Power, I get £5 each day in my missus’ account and the mothers but my own account gets £1 each day lol.
That Shishkin drift and boosted odds is giving me the absolute fear
Gone in quite a bit today after a small profit yesterday.
I expect nothing but tears.
1:30 I've got stakes in Mighty Potter and Appreciate It (place).
If Mullins dares to ruin my day with Appreciate It then we riot.
Also, I see someone is waiting on £1.5m with Shishkin in Ryanair and GDC in the Gold Cup. Denise will have a sniper ready to take one of them out. Not that they’d pay him out the full lot anyway, be lucky to see 20% of it
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FrV9hMpXoAA3EQv?format=jpg
This one?
The odds are wonky (8/1 on Shishkin? How long ago was this bet made?) and someone plugged the 7 fold into a calculator and the real payout would be £137k.
Salvador Ziggy (place to 4), Captain Morgs (place to 6) and Maxxum (place to 3) needed in the next one for me.
That’ll be another ban on the way for Paul Townsend with the way he swings in front of Mighty Potter and his stablemate putting an end to their face (not that they would have won but he got a ban yesterday in a race where he pissed it)
I've just asked ChatGPT to make me an EW accumulator for Cheltenham tomorrow:
Gala Marceau
Gin Coco
Dawn Rising
Galopin Des Champs
Vaucelet
Allegorie De Vassy
Iroko
Quote:
I cannot say for sure if these are the 7 best horses, as the prediction of horse races involves a high degree of uncertainty, and many factors can affect the outcome of the race. However, based on the information available to me, these are the horses that I believe have a good chance of winning their respective races. It's important to note that there are many other factors that can impact the outcome, such as track conditions, weather, and the performance of other horses in the race.
Shishkin and Fury Road.
https://i.imgur.com/5wEhf3s.png
This is pretty much the only thing that can save my day.
Also still have Blazing Khal and Lot of Joy in a Lucky 15 (Ziggy place and Fury Road loss so far) and a Win/EW on Rapper.
Everything else has died.
Paisley Park rolling back the years would be sound
Seddon ✅
Toggle Spoiler
‘Mon the Princess in the next to save some face. She was backed into 8s at one point but has drifted in the last hour again. In my other Yankee I had Dashel Drasher and Mill Green. Would have been sound if I put them in this bet over Paisley Park and The Changing Man but whatevs
Took some manipulation with the wording I used (recite it's own words back to it about looking at recent form, jockeys, etc) and threw a load of data at it, and links to the list of horses etc. Took a while but we got there in the end.
Could probably do a better job of it, in terms of giving it data, but I just did it on a whim while in a webinar.
After a great Tuesday, it's been pretty shit since. Let's finish on a high.
Lossiemouth
Pembroke
Corbetts Cross
Galopin Des Champs
Vaucelet
Allegorie De Vassy
Imagine
Today's:
He’s always been favourite. I’ve been on him and Imagine (shoot first too but NR) since last week so hopefully the ponies are saving the best to last.
1.30 - Blood Destiny
2.10 - Saint Sam EW, Milkwoid EW, First Street EW
2.50 - Corbett’s Cross, Dawn Rising EW, Saint Palais EW
3.30 - A Plus Tard, Ahoy Senor EW
4.10 - Vaucelet
4.50 - Elimay EW
5.30 - Imagine, Spirit of Legend EW
What the fuck happened to Corbett’s Cross. He would have pissed that on the run in.
Decided to knock himself out on the fence instead of jumping it.
Absolutely dreadful from the jockey. Fuck me.
Wouldn't be Cheltenham without a fav bottling the last. Special effort.
Gold Cup is looking juicy.
Phenomenal.
Ahoy Senor was looking good there as well. Double whammy as he took A Plus Tard out as well. Ah well.
Could basically start a twitter tipster account.
Heard Lynwood Gold in the 2.25 Uttoxeter could be worth a sniff e/w.
It’s been drifting like a barge all morning. Was 33s, now 66s. Had a dabble regardless.
Dog shit, applogies. An owner tipped it so one of those you can't discount.
Bushy Park getting a lot of mentions for the midlands Grand National.
Rob Holding 13/2 inplay to get booked feels overpriced.
Price on Real Madrid is making me so rock hard. Some wild handicaps may be in order too as they're due a proper heagy win against these uninspiring bastards.
I quite like Hatton 25/1 for the Match Play.
I would if he wasn't due to play the mac in the last 16.
Jonsson Workwear Open
Lawrence 25/1
McKibbin 35/1
365 Kane over 1.5 shots on target 2/1
Croatia -2 @ 5.5 as Wales seem to be having to play Smiffy's sister and her mates in their starting XI.
Acca fucked by Carlisle so covering all the Croatia handicaps up to - 4. Wales 1-0 incoming.
:happycry:
Fuck Croatia.
EW Treble (27/1) & Trixie at Market Rasen tomorrow:
14:35 Grandads Cottage
15:45 Halondo
16:53 Booster Bob
Olly Murphy, innit. 22 of his last 24 runners finished in the first 3, or something daft like that.
Booster Bob non runner now? I like Superstylin in the 15.10
Grandad's Cottage pissed it, shame there was a rule 4 deduction on that race.
Masters? @Jimmy Floyd @Manc @Ben
I'm working on it atm.
McIlroy is hard to look past but it depends on odds. My spreadsheet needs completely reworking because the PGA Tour changed the layout on their stats pages the wankers. If it gets quiet at work tomorrow I'll try fire it back up.
Texas Open
Kirk 28/1
Rai 50/1
I'll have a deep dive into the Masters over the weekend.
I'm currently trying to convince myself that a one-legged world number 995, at 50/1, is decent value.
Tiger
I never bet against Jon Rahm at the moment. I wouldn't put it past him.
Also love how Morikawa steps up on the big occasion.
Cameron Smith and Matt Fitzpatrick are others I'd be tempted to go for.
Had $2 on Man City 5-0 at 55/1 and Man City 6-0 at 125/1.
I've stuck a couple bets around Uncle Roy bringing Zaha back to life.
Some good bets this week:
Penarol to beat Cerro @3.6 (correct price 2.0)
Trans Narva to beat Harju @2.2 (correct price 1.5)
JS Kabylie vs Chelghoum Laid over 2.5 @2.05 (correct price 1.48)
San Diego Loyal to beat Tulsa Roughnecks @2.05 (correct price 1.5)
BTTS accy and Forest single.
Brighton & O1.5/Liverpool/BTTS Leicester & Villa.
Plus a load of card bets.
Masters
We're doing the full field again folks. I love this shit. Bolded players are the ones I have backed each way at the price. Probably need to back another shorter priced player for a proper position, but oh well. These are all Skybet 8 places E/W.
Toggle Spoiler
Rose is tempting. I might put him down for FRL.
Man United/Newcastle/Fiorentina/BTTS Leipzig & Dortmund/BTTS Barcelona & Madrid.
Bees at that price  Real Madrid tasty too.
I’m in that Masters competition again. You have to pick 3 golfers where the odds add to 150/1 or higher, aim is to finish the week with the lowest score.
Just waiting on the odds list but I guess I should have Chris Kirk and 2 shorties.
EDIT: Done
McIlroy 7
Scheffler 7
Kirk 150
Masters
Finau 22/1
Sung-Jae Im 33/1
Vietnam V.League 2
Trieu Minh v Pho Hien
KO in 3.5hrs.
Nothing dodgy, Trieu Minh only just promoted, Pho Hien should take them.
I would have McIlroy, Scheffler, Rahm and someone 130/1+ in that scenario. If any of those three are outside the top 10 I'll be very surprised.
Ah I should have stated, for the 4 picks one it is combined over 200/1.
Same. The big three plus Sandy Lyle if it has to be. Or, realistically, I would go big three + Harris English.
Bet 365 have a boosted treble on the big three finishing top 10 6/1.
Good effort, couldn't find a market for that one.
Yeah, bizarrely most websites used their old name, so some sites had it down as Hoa Binh v PVF.
Anyway, big game tomorrow as my team, Ho Chi Minh City host Hanoi. They beat us 0-6 last season... they are probably a tad worse then last season, whereas as we are fucking terrible. Going big on a win for Hanoi.
https://gyazo.com/098156b2a17ad676dda81f25ad01ecb6.jpeg
Brentford price is maaaad.
Irish National
Panda Boy 12/1 - Brassil knows a national horse when he sees one (numbersixvalverde) and this 7yo looks open to buckets of improvement. Going could be an issue.
Now Where or When 14/1 - I can't see this one out of the frame. Absoutley loves the track and his close third to Kemboy LTO is probably the pick of the formbook.
Jon Rahm 1/25 - Impossible to ignore this mentality monster.
Nice picks, I think The Goffer is a good price E/W if your bookie offers extra places.
Thought PB had that going over the second last. Great knock nonetheless.
Bet365 have super boost Haaland over 0.5 shots on target at evens.
Madrid handicaps look a bit tasty tomorrow. Will wait to see if Chelsea go to a back 3 with Silva/Kante playing before deciding though
Bit of an arse in the results tonight.
I had a cheeky outside each way bet on Benfica to win the Champions League at 80/1 when they had Enzo Fernandez and were unbeaten everywhere.
Fuck you Enzo.
Harbor Town
Henley 50/1
Si Woo Kim 70/1
Hadwin 100/1
Spaun 125/1
Computer likes Cantlay from the short priced guys, but I'm opposing that on moral grounds.
Henley looks great value at 50/1, good showing last week.
RBC
Cam Young 20/1
Lowry 28/1
Tom Kim 33/1
Ho Chi Minh City FC v Binh Dinh
Kicks off in 40 mins, nothing dodgy going, but we are shit.
Ahoy Senorrrrrr
Would have been a banker round Aintree if Derek Fox was onboard. Hughes slightly gives me the fear.
Boosted 3/1 on 365.
:(
His engine is absolutely ridiculous, he just gets too many fences wrong. If he manages to get his jumping 80% then I don’t think a single horse touches him. Still a lovable hunk
Edit: probably wins with Fox onboard. Replays show Hughes goes far too early. He was 5 lengths clear and bolting along, no need to go for it that soon
Anyone wanna spam sky’s freebetfriday tweet with the wrong answer at 10am and see how many people copy?
I see the housewives have already backed Rachel Blackmore into favouritism from 20s yesterday to 9s for the National
Some phenomenon. My mum bets on her horse every year as her only bet of the year.
2021 and 2022 would have been a good year for her. Even more so if she dabbled on the big races at Cheltenham as she sweeped up there too
I had three 2nd’s (both Lucinda Russell horses and Bo Zenith - the formers both trading 1/4 and 1/3 respectively towards the last fence )yesterday so hopefully more luck today.
1.45 - Thomas Darby EW 28/1, Complete Unknown 7/1
2.20 - Captain Conby 12/1
2.55 - Found a Fifty 7/2, Pembroke Ew 33/1
3.30 - Pic D’Orhy 3/1
4.05 - Top Ville Ben EW 50/1, Bill Baxter EW 25/1
4.40 - Apple Away EW 17/1
5.15 - Go Dante 7/1
Top Ville Ben
I remember that won for me on Boxing Day one year.
That loose horse won me the race there for Bill Baxter
For the first time in forever I completely abandoned my yankees and went for singles only. Might be slightly sick if Go Dante wins the last lol. 3 wins in a row anyway, sets the bank balance up nicely for spunking it all on Scotland to bring it home in the National.
Toggle Spoiler
I’m on that also. A guy in my betting syndicate who is very selective and profitable with horse racing bets is in very big on it.
We went to Cheltenham one year and he dropped £5k on Faugheen then didn’t bet again until the Thursday.
I've just put 5 whole English pounds on Delta Work EW.
Also backed Born By The Sea, A Wave Of The Sea, Capodanno, Cloudy Glen and Recite A Prayer.
Fiver on each, all EW.
I've got £1.50e/w on Roi Mage and Le Milos and £1e/w on Lifetime Ambition and Gabbys Cross.
I've also bet that all the horses will have a fun time.
I'm on Delta Work now so RIP to the train.
Enjoy D'Allen
Delta Work will do well to stay onto 4th/5th like last year. Coko Beach has a much better chance
They’re all getting lolled past from the back of the field by Corach Rambler anyway
It's a cavalry charge, if it wasn't AP McCoy would have won it more times than he did. The Topham yesterday was a mini preview of the carnage.
Backing against Newcastle again at a tasty price.
Howe loves a petty vendetta so I'm hoping for a 'here's what you could have won' result.
Mon Brighton for a tasty double too but the one I'm loving is a 4 game 3pm prem BTTS accy (leaving Everton out).
Quid each on Big Dog, Enjoy d'Allen, Velvet Elvis, Capodanno and Mr Incredible. Win only because I go hard
Got an Aintree acca.
Jonbon, West Balboa, You Wear It Well, Flooring Porter, Shakem Uparry, Gaillard Du Mesnil and Blizzard of Oz (what a name) all to place bar Jonbon which was a win.
First two are in, I expect the rest all to fail now.
Let these protesters stay on the course and let them get trampled on pls
Also on Betfair's boosted "Aint That A Shame to finish in the first 6".
Absolutely pissed it. My fuckin horse. Mon the Perthshire
That extra week after Cheltenham really paying dividends for quite a few horses. 10lbs well in, Corach Rambler probably should have gone off 10/3 fav in hindsight. Great move from Fox to ride it more prominently. Gave me a great spin along with Roi Mage.
Obviously it’s hindsight but I can’t believe he drifted to 11s at one point. He’d have won with that extra 10lbs anyway
We all did.
Forest are free money today. Fancy West Ham to get something too.
Took a chance on Sung-Jae Im at 80/1 to get well in the mix.
Cantlay's going to win this.
Hopefully he doesn't. Slow cunt.
Hopefully he does, mon the computer.
He took about 15 minutes to do a chip and a putt on the last hole. Dirty money. And he's just chipped it into a hazard.
Morals look to be winning after that chip.
Surely that goes backwards into the water when he hits it.
Edit: I'm stunned he hit it that well.
Edit: Spieth super unlucky in the first two holes of the playoff. Cracking golf to end it.
Absolute all in on Sweden to win Eurovision btw
Put money on Liverpool to win 6-1 when they were 3-1 up.
Fucking beautiful result.
You can see how naive Leeds are under Gracia. Even worse than the American pretender. Conceded 5 in their last home game. You can't do that against the attacking players Liverpool have.
Henry Cavill next Bond, all in.
A relatively unknown actor in his 30s? Had a fiver on Nicholas Hoult at 100/1.
Relatively unknown? He was Superman as well as The Witcher.
Apparently it was also between him, Sam Worthington and Daniel Craig the last time.
Isn't he a bit pretty to be Bond? I always see Bond as half-rugged rather than a show pony.
I was alluding to the recent Bond producer quote that they want 'a relatively unknown actor in his 30s' to be the next Bond which I agree excludes Cavill. That's why I think someone like Hoult who has been in loads of stuff but isn't a household name, is a good shout.
James Norton.
James Norton is a good shout, that is the level that producer hinted at. It's basically not going to be any established Hollywood leading man.
He should also do it in his West Yorkshire Happy Valley accent instead of his native posh one.
Them Chelsea odds :D
They should be at least 7/2.
Fwanky Lampard is a terrible manager. Bring back Gary Pothead.
Also, bring back Abramovich, unless he hasn't been thrown out of a window. By accident of course.
The main thing to come out of last night is Napoli getting dumped out so City have a free path to the trophy. Milan, Inter and Real shouldn't be of concern to them.
Bet 365 Superboost last night Benzema and Vincinius Jr over 0.5 shots on target. Paid it out at half time despite the latter not registering one all match, glad I noticed and cashed out because they've since tried to claw it back :D
ISPS Handa
Nakajima 33/1
Higa 35/1
8/1 for Crewe today. Lump
£10 on Your Own Story & Rabaud in the Scottish National and Hurdle respectively @ 40s
I quite like Famous Bridge for the big one.
I done a trixie as well with the above two and Tellmesomethinggirl at 3pm. First leg is in.
Edit: just realised I took SP for Your Own Story for the trixie. That’s annoying.
I bet a lot of bookies don't refund singles on Chaldean there :moop:
Edit: Willy Hill and Sky have.
Dortmund can go top of the Bundesliga with a win this evening. Stick your mortgage on Frankfurt 4/1.
Brighton will obviously take my entire wealth, just take a pick:
-1@5
-2@11
-3@34
Mitoma AGS@4
Shaw to be shown a card@4
Whose got Newcastle plus 5 goals in their betting slip this afternoon?
Man Utd to win
Lindelof yellow card
Bruno shot on target
Mitoma shot on target
70/1 with some random boost on Bet365
Load of card bets plus Sir Marcus FGS and AGS.
Taz is going bankrupt tonight.
Mexico Open
Rahm 11/4 NAP
Tosti 200/1
If Rahm even brings his C game he completely outclasses this field. Should be 2/1 and I don't say that lightly for a golf tournament.
Corach Rambler must have been the greatest certainty to win the Grand National in years. The horse who finished 2nd to him at Cheltenham has just went and beat the Cheltenham Gold Cup 1st and 2nd at Punchestown.
Holding to be booked tonight.
Yannik Paul out in Korea 22/1.
If you buy the Racing Post everyday it would cost you £145.60 a month.
If you lose £125 a month through betting you fail the government’s proposed financial vulnerability indicator.
Lol wot
If you're gambling £125 a month you have a problem, so good.
I don’t but it’s still lol regardless. Your money, do what you want with it. £125 is fuck all in the grand scheme of things.
Mexico Open - Hojgaard 28/1
Rahm turned around a bogey start to put himself in a nice spot. -4 playing shite. :eyemouth:
Looked at his card first then looked at the leaderboard. 'Austin Smotherman', the usual lucky dip Canadian, and some pistol-wielding bandito straight off the Tequila Tour. Don't mind his chances here.
https://www.oddsportal.com/football/...5nOUAe6/#1X2;2
Some incredible shit going on here. Get on any DC United markets you can while it lasts.
DNB @67 with Betfred is the best bet you'll ever see. Correct price is about 4.3.
I must be doing something wrong, no bookie I have checked even lists that match.
BTTS treble at 6.something in prem.
Also a 5-fold BTTS on the early Bundesliga games at 15.something.
It only stuck around for a couple of hours.
https://i.imgur.com/vQOD11t.png
My chances of getting that paid out are probably a 99/1 shot in itself.
The reason that happened is that bookies don't bother trading games themselves any more. They just copy the price of whoever put it up first or whoever they think has the best idea of what the odds should be. If you know who that is, and they've put it up with low liquidity (it doesn't take much to move the price), you can hammer one side (in this case Cincinnati) and take the other at lol prices at other venues.
Who did the hammering here?
Dunno. Someone with deep pockets and some handy contacts.
On the goverment betting laws, I would like to see them tighten up bookmaker's social media because there is definitely underhand shit going on. Sky posted a loser as a winner a while back then deleted and posted a long odds winner that looked blatantly photoshopped, before that went too.
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi hat trick 200/1
Jon Rahm is going to have to really up his game to turn this around against Tony Finau, who is playing unbelievably well.
Finau was very smart not driving that last hole, and instead playing it with an iron because he had a 3 shot lead.
I went for Brandon Wu on an each way bet, but he keeps finding the water. The twat.
Good job Rahm is mentally invincible.
Vardy back in the goals and a great record against Everton means I'm covering him anytime, to score 2+ and the hat trick.
15/8, 12/1 & 66/1.
You've got to be seething he wasn't on that penalty.
Absolutely :D
Wells Fargo
Cam Young 20/1
An 125/1
I-talian Open
Shinkwin 70/1
Fulham 9/1 looks a bit tasty.
Not with Cedric in over Tete
Italian Open
Campillo 28/1
Migliozzi 45/1
I've gone big on Guido. Very much a case of if not when.
Fargo
I think Jim has it right with Cam. I can see Hovland being in the mix at a similar price.
I wanted Guido but no dice from the computer. He's got to start winning pretty much now if he wants into the RC.
It's that time again boys, Brighton and handicaps, cards galore for the favela cunts, it's gonna be glorious.
A couple of games into the SEA Games, we are now approaching the time where the likes of Laos, Myanmar and Timor Leste start throwing games. Timor actually won yesterday, so we may have to wait a game of two for them to start accepting some brown envelopes.
Philippines have shocked everyone by losing all games and being knocked out already, however, traditionally they don't get involved with shenanigans, which is a shame.
Bournemouth tasty price and I'm also on goals in the Spurs game.
City -4
Leeds 15/1, mon Big Sam.
Raise Cain 67/1 EW Kentucky Derby
Ran backwards hahahaha
Home team double today
What's the argument against backing Ukraine at 8/1 for Eurovision? I'm still seeing Ukraine flags everywhere.
I think the argument is Sweden are going to win/you don't get the sympathy vote two years in a row.
I quite liked Poland's song yesterday, make them dark horses [I have no idea about the odds]. Slovenia as well.
It's not about sympathy, it's about self-righteousness. If the judges have them anywhere near the top ( @-james- ) they're worth the punt I reckon.
Yeah, but it took a historic public vote to skewer the results last year, I don't think they'll get that again [to the same level], particularly not if one of the more traditional favoured/non-hated countries is in the running [ie Sweden and not the UK].
Looking into it, they came 4th with the jury last year. I remember their song being shit so they must have had plenty sympathy from the judges.
Their song is pretty flat this year but it could come to life in the final if the bloke learns to sing. It also finishes well and is towards the end in the running order (whilst Sweden are 9th).
I'm gonna go for it. 365 have boosted the odds too. I've also seen some people tip Italy, which might be worth an e/w at 33/1.
Ukraine 4.5 for televote winner might be the one, actually.
6.2 on the Betfair exchange
Good shout. I need to switch back to Betfair.
Good bet. I've backed them and Sweden in this market. Finland are way too short everywhere.
Sweden have won imo. The current price of 1.5 is still value (advised in this thread at 2.1 a month ago btw :charm:). Should be a landslide.
Of course there could be 400 hidden televote points for Ukraine but it's a lot less likely than last year.
I'll throw this out there:
1 Sweden
2 Israel
3 Finland
4 Spain
5 Ukraine
6 Italy
7 France
8 Norway
9 Armenia
10 Czech Republic
11 Austria
12 Switzerland
13 Moldova
14 Belgium
15 Croatia
16 Slovenia
17 Australia
18 Estonia
19 Germany
20 Lithuania
21 Poland
22 Albania
23 UK
24 Cyprus
25 Serbia
26 Portugal
This market is so silly. UK 8th fav in the outright while also fav for last place and almost rank outsider for top 15.
Sweden Finland forecast is the wages earner.
Sweden to win
Israel W/O Sweden and Finland
Ukraine Televote winner
Spain top 5 finish
Ukraine top 5 finish.
Finland are 4/7 to win the televote and Ukraine are 4/1.
I think Norway might be the surprise bet here.
Armenia and Czechia to finish top 10 as well. Singles.
I had a ‘to score in 90 mins’ treble yesterday on Mitrovic, Rashford and Wilson. Rashford didn’t play, so it won as a double.
Done one today on Haaland, Toney and Mac Allister @ 13/1
Also KDB to assist Haaland 7/1
Mitoma is @ 2.37 to have 2 or more shots on Bet365.
On Betfair he's at 1.25.
https://i.imgur.com/iFdj3LE.png
Has hit 2 or more in 7 of his last 8 matches when starting.
I'm also on 3 or more shots at 5.5 on Bet365.
No Toney, Haaland has scored so let’s hope for a Brighton pen later.
The amount of times Mitoma has chosen to cut it back to someone or take an extra couple of touches instead of shooting is infuriating.
PGA Championship
Scheffler 15/2
Schauffele 16/1
Finau 22/1
Fowler 66/1
McCarthy 175/1
An all-yank lineup. Hopefully jinxes the actual result. I am sorry, lord Jon my God, for I have forsaken you.
175/1 price gives me horrible flashbacks to Mito last year. FFS Mito.
That was horrendous. Same weekend as my Toon top half bet falling short despite being on track at half time too. From £5k to no k.
I wanted to back City but having seen the prices, HALA FUCKING MADRID.
Edit: On the draw.

Nice one. That's decent. Just want to see what the other 25p bets were.
As long as you're up, that's the main thing ;)
I had another 11 25p pre-match bets (3 or 4 of which were let down by 1 player) and I put two 25p singles in play which lost.
Looked into a loan for some home improvements and apparently a lot of them want to see your bank accounts now and will reject you if they dont like the level of gambling they see. One to be aware of for the big players in here.
They're called addicts Lofty lad.
Taz shared a Java script years ago to edit that stuff out.
If you ain't putting all betting transactions through Paypal, fix up. They even give a few days of free credit so you can do your balls beyond your overdraft limit when the going gets tasty
Fair enough. I have multiple bank accounts but whenever asked I just have one. :baz:
Yeah just have a Monzo or whatever that's betting only, they've no way of knowing that it exists.

These are all EW 8 places with skybet
Rashford to score.
Even tho chelsea are shite they could be a good bet sunday against Newcastle. Popes had a hand op and the rest of the squad have been on the piss last 2 nights in jesmond and cosy joes, allegedly.
Baz, are you watching this fam? Load up on Fulham at 5/1.

Glorious.
$5 on Mainz at 10/1.
They pay out if you’re 2 up
$2 on Hummel's next scorer at 25.
All PL matches over 2.5 goals.
Beside's large on Fulham, I'm on BTTS accy minus Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool games.
I've had a nibble on Fulham. Will also probably get on some cards.
In Belgium right now so can't acces Bet365 because my VPN is wank so Betfair it will have to be.
Paddy Power doing a free £2 bet builder on premier league games.
Memorial
Hatton 22/1
Scott 45/1
Porsche Open
Paul 22/1
Ferguson 40/1
One of them is due.
Tight market this week, Cantlay was my only recommendation when I ran it earlier and betting on him is like betting on it to be cloudy tomorrow.
Bet365 have boosted Haaland to have a SOT at evens.
£20 max.
Choo Choo.
Edit: Seen on Twitter that some were capped to £10 and there are some who were allowed to go £40.
Martinez AGS plus some card bets obvs.

Cheers Haaland.

Struggling to stay away from Spieth for the US Open. Someone convince me otherwise.
The price?
Computer loves Schauffele, I'm checking the motherboard as I really don't enjoy backing him. Such a boring golfer. Talking myself into brickie growler.
My spreadsheet reckons 25/1 isn't too bad, especially considering the similarly priced guys around him.
I like Speith. I like BDC more.
Bryson is definitely worth thinking about if he's at long odds. I don't expect the setup to be miles away from what Oak Hill was like.
Of course if he makes any putts then Scottie will win easily. There's always that threat. I'll have think some more.
Bryson was 50/1 when I last looked, I think.
Who's the 3000/1 shot amateur making it to the final round this time?
Right, decisions made. Six man outfit.
Brooks Koepka 11/1
Justin Rose 35/1
Rickie Fowler 45/1
Hideki Matsuyama 45/1
Phil Mickelson 175/1
Eric Cole 175/1
Scottie might win by twelve, in which case fair play to him, but I'm not arsed at 6/1.
I've gone all in on Cam Smith 25/1.
I was put off by his stinky driver, albeit LIV stats are a sweepstakes at the best of times.
Done a Yankee for all of Dettori’s rides today
Broke even with Slick Rick despite him playing like a cunt on Sunday. This week, absolutely nothing in the Travelers market, but taking a piece on Meronk (10/1 at 8 places) for the beamer, along with pennies each on local hands Thomas Rosenmuller, Philipp Mejow and Jonas Baumgartner who are all 250/1 and up.
PGA - Tom Kim 33/1
DP - Larrazabal 28/1
I’ve stuck £25 on American Rascal in the first today. Only 4/1, was 17/2 last night. Annoying
150/1 winner and 66/1 in second. Fuck me
I'm on the working men's club horse from the north east for the gold cup after seeing it/them on the news last night. Wise Eagle
@LongShotValue on Twitter having a lovely run of form.
Could have alerted us to his existence 5 days ago :D
Crazy stat.
Does that mean that there were quite a few long odds winners?
Think that’s betfair starting odds and the 150/1 odds went for a lot longer odds. Still, loads of unlikely winners
Guido at 66/1 is tempting.
Rocket Mortgage: Hodges 90/1, Norrman 150/1
Guido going from T1 to T33 within six shots. Never change.
Can Andy Murray reach the final without having to face Djokovic along the way? Cos he’s like 40/1 and looks fresh. Surely an EW bet.
Yes.
Although he would have to beat the top seed, Carlos Alcaraz, in the semi-final (assuming Murray wins all his matches and Carlos does too).
Grass isn't his best surface but he's only played at Wimbledon twice.
Murray will have a tough match next though, either Thiem or Tsitsipas.
All in then. CmonTimAndy you beautiful British bastard.
Himmerland - Ferguson 30/1
John Deere - Schenk 28/1
Annoyingly the maximum stake allowed at those odds was 1p a line and they stung me for a Rule 4 on top, still the best Lucky 15 I've ever landed stake to return ratio:
https://i.ibb.co/sQkBGNS/Screenshot-...g-Internet.jpg
Beastly, Diljeet.
Liable 4.50 @ Sandown.
Well that tip was dogshit.
I did warn you about Tsitsipas/Thiem.
All roads lead to Hatton 18/1 for the Scotch Open.
High five. Hatton and Hovland for me.
The absolute state of Hatton on the 18th.
Do we get a long form rundown of the field for The Open, Jim?
If I have time today.
Hovland is jumping off the page.
I don't have time for full-field (there are some mega randomers in the bottom half, as befits the Open) but here are my outright each way selections. The elephant in the room here is that Scheffler 15/2 joint fav is probably value, but honestly fuck him.
Viktor Hovland 20/1. Close in three of the last four majors, Viktor has made the leap to regular contender and he's going to win one at some point. We have limited evidence for him on links courses but his two Opens have been T12 at Sandwich and T4 at the Old Course, which suggest an affinity. It's hard to see him not being at least adjacent to the mix come Sunday. I backed him last week and he did play well in spurts albeit not well enough to contend. Maybe he will peak at the right time.
Xander Schauffele 25/1. Although Xander is a bit of a serial bottle job in majors (18 top 20s and never better than a T2), I think the market is a bit too cool on him here. As I understand it, the back nine on this course is going to have a big left to right wind off the Irish Sea, certainly on the first three days, and this will surely suit a man who can hold his high draw into that wind. Your faders and cutters, like Rahm, DJ and co, will be struggling a little bit more I think on these holes.
Adam Scott 70/1. Scott ballsed up his big chance at the Open in 2012, but I reckon he has one more run in him, and this tournament can support an older winner (Els that year, Darren Clarke, Mickelson and Stenson being recent examples). He has a favourable draw I think playing with Scheffler and Fleetwood on the first couple of days, and if he can maintain what has been a sneakily strong putting run of late (normally his weakness) then I don't see why he couldn't be value at these odds.
Byeong Hun An 125/1. I'm not sure why Benny jumps off the page at these odds - Wyndham Clark was the longest odds major winner for a while - but it all lines up. He's on the up after a couple of poor years, he played well in Scotland last week, he was top thirty here as a very young man in 2014. Asian players tend to play poorly at this tournament - no top two finish since Mr Lu in 1971 (they tend to be machine-schooled whereas links golf is more about feel and imagination). However, I like Ben to play well this week.
Daniel Hillier 300/1. This is a very long shot indeed, but better to be early on a player than late. 24 and from New Zealand, he won the British Masters a few weeks back on a putting hot streak - perhaps more instructively he was 3rd in Germany the week before without the putter firing. We have very limited info on him in links golf but New Zealanders traditionally go well by the seaside and he did play at Sandwich in 2021 so shouldn't be overawed by major golf. Why not.
Thanks for the insight lads, fingers crossed it's a productive weekend.
Koepka 18/1
Hovland 20/1
Fox FRL 66/1
All in on Hovland.
Also Scott and the two Kims.
You need to work on your algorithms.
Hiding in plain sight. :eyemouth:
I've made many a pretty penny out of Brian Harman over the years but he's not winning a major.
He's a good "top lefty" bet but that's about it. Bloke is about 5'2" with shoes on and that will catch up eventually.
Yeah last weekend should show it's far too early to be wanking off long shots yet. Only takes three bad holes and it's all over.
He's holed literally everything today and also pitched in from a daft position on 12, that luck won't hold.
I don't play the exchanges these days, but Harman is a lay for me. Two days of pissing rain coming, he hits it shorter than everyone else which will be exacerbated, his freakish putting run can only revert to the mean. Someone (Spieth) is bound to have a run out of the pack and Tommy looks solid as.
You'd imagine Harman will be caught eventually.
Rahm, Hovland, McIlroy, Fleetwood, Young and Day are waiting to pounce.
It's lining up very nicely for Sunday.
FFS he's started playing like peak Tiger again. All these 'world class' dickheads getting beaten up by a nerdy little elf.
He started shakily with 2 bogies today but Harman appears to be recovering really well. Now -12 with the chasing pack on -6.
If Rahm can find another big round tomorrow, I wonder if Harman will begin to feel the pressure on the final day from someone who's been there and knows how to win a major.
Harman is building a commanding lead, though. Some of the others need to start pulling their fingers out.
Beautiful long putt from Alex Fitzpatrick (the younger brother of Matt Fitzpatrick) to give him a birdie at the 1st hole. Great start takes him to -5.
Matt Fitzpatrick is +2 for the day and currently on even par overall.
Harman has been absolutely flawless today. Which is a shame, because take him out and it would be an all-time finale.
The chasing pack have been so disappointing today. I expected better and the conditions have been the same for everyone so that can't be used as an excuse.
McIlroy is a great player in the rain and could have got nearer but his earlier rounds weren't good enough. Harman has been so consistent throughout. Surprised by his levels.
Rahm the mentality monster too soggy today.
Harman won it with that freak run on Friday morning. No one got within three of his Friday score at any point. I thought a few others would get to 9, 10 and 11 under and he would stay where he was or fall back, but they all just went nowhere after Thursday. He shot 70 today, but 75 would still have won it.
Just another example of the weather of the north west of England making for one of the worst sporting weekends in living memory.
Glorious sunshine this week too.
Got this today:

Fuck Denise.
And now they've closed my account, lol.
Have you been following anyone's tips?
I made a decent profit for fully two and a half years (have been rubbish this year) and they never did anything. It must be done on repeat patterns.
Whatever it’s based on, it’s an absolute con.
Yeah, I thought I'd sneak under the radar though as my units were low.
High volume though and obviously patterns shared with others.
It's madness that they're happy to let people who lose keep betting but when you're doing well they don't want your custom.
Withdrawn the funds I had available in my account and I've still got 98 bets open.
It has always been the way. You can't win consistently, they won't let you. They let the addicts hamner it because even if they strike gold they'll be in again tomorrow staking it on another dream.
I can't remember the numbers but for all regular bookies it's a very small proportion of users that account for a very large proportion amount of revenue. They'll do anything to keep the addicts on board. It's far more important to them than having accurate odds.
Someone I know, who is overall a profitable gambler, went on a losing streak with Redbet [now defunct], did near 5 figures over a couple of months or something. They flew him out to the Champions League final with hospitality tickets.
And yeah you'll fly under the radar for ages if you just bet your own stuff. I've had multiple accounts go because some massive tipster has put up a bet I was already on.
I'm not sure it'll survive a Labour government, at least not in its current form.
There have been several doomsday sirens over the past decade but sports betting has pretty much remained untouched in the UK. The lobbying power must be out of this world. You're probably right though. Always rated the Tories.

Speaking of which, Europe are lengthy as fuck for that. 15/8 at home with Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman already locked into the US team at the expense of far better golfers. Yes please.

Liverpool unbeaten PL season 125/1

I'm on Da Nang. Is there a reason why the other one isn't being listed? Too dodgy?
Perhaps, it may go on tomorrow morning. I'll keep checking.
Up on Sky Bet now. Double @5.29.
That double has been backed in to 9/1 so either you're moving markets with these tips or the mafia have lumped on.
Free £5 bet on the double and £50 on Danang single.
Interesting. I still haven't heard anything dodgy from my usual connection.
Could just be people, like me, putting 2+2 together.
I went for Danang + draw, rather than unders. Hope we all win.
Choo Choo.
I'm finishing work early and heading to the game. Kickoff 11am your time.
Will update during the game if it's worth cashing out.
There's no cashing out for the boys, I'm afraid. If its looking ropey you'll have to do whatever is necessary to make Mahow happy.
Noted.
Sold Fulham season goals @48 on Spreadex.
15 minutes gone and Binh Duong miss a sitter.
Way more open and end to end then it should be. Did these guys never watch Austria-Germany??
Still 0-0 here.
Danang take the lead.
Edit: notable reduction in the pace of this game. Binh Duong been passing it around at the back for 5 mins.
Danang 2-0.
Half time here 0-0. We missed a point blank header just before the break.
Hopefully the 2 managers have a chat at half time and realise what needs to be done.
Surely 5 minutes of passing it round the back all but confirms it?
Danang 2-1 now 👀
I've got my finger over the cash out incase I see a goal before paddypower do. Both teams started to get the message apparently.
3-1
I've also got a little treble on SLNA to win as well, and they just took the lead
I cashed out at £220, instead of waiting for £240. Nervy as fuck here.
Top work, thanks! Nice way to start the weekend.
So, will there be more profit to be made from this relegation group you reckon?
Massive.
Cheers.
Big up, JA.
