That happened either last week or the week before as well. Shambles.
Marlon Mack & David Njoku both having breakout games this week. Hell of a run from Mack, although he's going to come up just short of his second TD.
I'd seen tweets before from the Gamepass account, which is presumably Deltatreas themselves, but not from the NFL (presuming the NFLUK is affiliated).
After this it was a real bad weekend for it to be so bad too.
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/u...-a7986676.html
OBJ and Landry just turned up.
I wish they wouldn't, I'm playing against both of them.
Desmond King is a fucking dumpster fire, he failed to tackle Blount twice on the same play last week, then whiffed on Darkwa earlier & now just starfish jumped in Eli's face instead of sacking him & Eli just watched him & chucked it to OBJ for a TD.
Big Ben? More like Big Benched :roflol:
Panthers are getting dangerously close to blowing this comfortable lead against the Lions.
5 now.
Big Ben :harold:
Even Joe didn't get picked 5 times.
Fucking Duke Johnson.
No idea how Crowell gets more snaps.
That was a shite onside kick Cleveland.
That throw by Tyrod
Great run from Duke Johnson. Definitely not looking good for Isaiah Crowell's hopes of getting a full workload this season.
Fuck off Fournette
90 yards completely untouched. That one play has put my TTH tie right back in the balance.
I really do like how Fournette runs.
Well that escalated quickly.
Flacco with a 52 yarder to Mike Wallace on the first play of the game.
Lol.
Terrence West injured? Why hello there.
And that could be Beckham gone for a while.
He's making Ronaldo's tears look quite tame.
Literally all but one of the Giants WRs wiped out in one game, and it's the one where I play Eli in fantasy.
EDIT: Oh good, now Eli's fumbled too. I knew i shouldn't have given him another chance.
Wilson already getting a sack meaning that Cam Newton is full on trolling me and I should of started him in fantasy :moop:
So Baltimore has woke up then?
:alan:
Woof, Brissett and Hilton are a mean team.
Great start from Oakland :D
Looks like Gurley's TD is going to be called back too. Not just called back, turned over, as it happens.
Stunning ref call in the Seahawks game.
Niners look set to win their game in OT then.
Gurley :D
Not just losing the TD but the ball too.
Fucking lol at Brissett.
West has gotten injured (and probably wont be back) and now Carl Davis who is playing because Brandon Williams is injured is now injured.
Death, taxes and Ravens injuries...
Manning :D
Oh Eli, never change.
http://cdn.barstoolsports.net/wp-con...9.24.03-AM.png
Fewer pixels than Eli has career interceptions.
He's such a cunt :D
Alex Collins first rush of the day goes for 5, second goes for 25.
GIVE HIM THE BALL.
Xbox GamePass gone down
How the shit did Flacco get out of that and find Maclin.
Christ.
Mixed day for Tavon Austin so far.
Straight up bad day for Wilson though. Poor Pleb :(
Zadarius Smith inches away from a sack on Oakland's TD play :(
Has something happened to Gurley? Seeing a lot of Tavon Austin carries at the minute.
Sling it deep to Mike Wallace still works after all these years.
Broken Fibula? Fucking hell, that's huge if that turns out to be the case.
Who, OBJ?
Yep, my GamePass has just caught up. They're 1000% fucked this season then.
Fractured ankle instead.
Would still be out for the season but should be ok for next I'd imagine.
Did the commentator in the Rams game say they dicked Russell Wilson on that sack? :D
Packers extra point team not doing themselves any favours today.
Peter Kings voice should be used as torture by the US military.
Matt Skura now injured.
Crabtree :harold:
Open as fuck and he falls over.
Totally ignored Cooper beating his man & running open into the endzone on that play as well. Obviously.
Maclin injured.
We're going to have to start pulling lads in off the street.
Nice pick by Sheldon Richardson there.
Fucking loved that effort at a diving tackle by Dak.
Got nowhere near it but I love it.
https://i.imgur.com/cTvP9Dw.png
Fucking Goof.

US Vice-President Mike Pence has walked out of a National Football League (NFL) game after several players refused to stand for the US national anthem.
Mr Pence said he could not be present at an event that "disrespects our soldiers, our flag" after abandoning the game in his home state of Indiana.
President Donald Trump tweeted that he had asked Mr Pence to leave if players kneeled and said he was "proud of him".
:harold:
They've engineered an expensive protest to protest the protests.
ROCK FLAG AND EAGLE
When will these halfwits realise it's got naff all to do with soldiers?
WE GOT BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN SOLDIERS SALUTING A BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN FLAG AMERICA
Die in a well, Trump.
Dolphins OL coach has resigned after a video came out showing him snorting coke or a 'white, powdery substance' as NFL.com puts it.
If it was during a game who can blame him?
Before a team meeting so close enough.
I'd love to see one of their big names go on a knee next week and see does he really have the big balls to follow up the big talk.
How does that work if you get fired, do you become a free agent? Presumbly people like Prescott and Elliot on rookie contracts (or whatever they are called, if they are) would love a bit of that.
Elliot could piss in Jerry's mouth and still get a mega new deal.
Getting to see AP in the UK twice in one year
Because obviously he smashed it the first time.
Also, everyone is getting a 20% refund for Game Pass within 30 days.
I look forward to seeing him inducted into the Saints Ring of Honour within the month.
Goodell has been scared by Trump :harold:
It will be both incredibly amusing, and really rather sad, if they all end up toeing the line and 'respecting the flag'.
I noticed Mike Ditka's opinions was, predictably, well-balanced. Or should that be fair and balanced?
They've nothing to be scared of. I can't speak for all teams but from reading Denver stuff it seemed like fornecery swivel-eyed loon giving up their season ticket because RESPECT THE SOLDIERS there was another going, "So, er, are there season tickets available?"
Eifert's comeback comeback comeback year is done. He needs back surgery and is going on IR.
I don't get why any of them would toe the line. What is Trump going to do, ban the NFL?
Presumably it'll be greedy team owners (or rather, team owners) being threatened with losing money somewhere.
Watkins has decided to bitch and moan again:
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/s...er-five-games/
Quite funny as he said this earlier in the week:
“Two years ago, it would’ve probably been different,” Watkins said, via ESPN. “I would’ve probably gone to the media and been saying whatever, trying to get the coach’s attention. That’s how I used to do it back then. Like, ‘I need more targets.’ Then that comes to the coach, and me and him have to talk.”
And he had what looked like a possible TD in the Seahawks game but decided to stop running. I'm sure there were a couple of other routes that he quit on too in the game.
Zeke's ban is happening now
A week late :moop:
"However, the NFLPA is expected to re-file the case with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and seek a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction in order to keep Elliott playing, according to Gabe Feldman, director of the Tulane Sports Law Program."
Just fucking accept it already.
I don't really know much about it, but the power to suspend someone over illegal acts which have never been tested, proven or even alleged in actual court sounds more than dodgy, but then I guess the NFL (like most US Sports) are pretty much a law unto themselves.
They're shit scared since the Ray Rice incident. They were caught pissing in the well once and don't want it to happen again.
May record and watch the Panthers game tomorrow. Here's hoping Cam and Funchess carry on being fantasy relevant
Funchess wont, he's had his two good games per season.
Edit: He had four 8 or higher point games in his rookie season (13.1, 12.4, 9 and 18), three in his next season (8.8, 11.6 and 9.3 although he also had a 7.9) so he should have one more in him.
Bowman has been cut by the Niners which makes sense despite all the apparent shock. He was a great linebacker but the injuries have fucked him. He can still defend the run but he's got nothing physically to help him defend the pass.
We've been mooted but I don't see it for two reasons. The first is that we've got fuck all cap space and the second is that we've found our new MLB next to Mosley. 'Peanut' Onwuasor has been brilliant and he's worked hard after going undrafted.
No doubt we'll take a look at him, because we pretty much get linked to any defensive free agent that was good once but probably isn't anymore.
What the fuck is the deal with college football overtime? Watching Michigan/Indiana & it looks like they play two full periods of overtime, and get to start at the red zone :cab:
Ruining my recording of Auburn/LSU as well.
EDIT: Yeah, it's madness.
Ed Orgeron has the voice of death himself.
I actually much prefer the college overtime system. Test the offence/defence in the critical scenario (red zones) and give both teams a chance to score regardless.
There was some serious upsets in the college game yesterday which means my bets were fucked, all starting on the Friday night Clemson game. National champs my scrotum.
National Champions the year previous means little depending on how many seniors or pro declared juniors that team had.
I've not seen them yet this season but presumably Alabama are just going to run over everyone like they always do.
Yep and yep. Clemson are still pretty solid but seemingly they have zero depth at QB.
Bama are pretty much secured in the playoffs already because every other contender seems to have shit a brick. Penn State have a Heismann lock which might make it interesting if they get there, but Bama have history of being able to stuff a star RB (Fournette went 35 yards on 17 carries).
On a side note, Allie LaForce is pretty much perfect and is the highlight of my Saturday, every Saturday during the season.
Her and Michelle Owen
Maclin inactive :(
11-0 against rookie QBs at home though so fuck you, Trubisky.
Any GamePass problems yet? Being unable to sign in, for instance? :moop:
Nevermind, they sent an email about it three hours ago :D
EDIT: Nope, still won't let me in. Did second time, despite putting in exactly the same details. Same problem on Xbox & web, strangely.
Even McCown and Kerley are donning the Patriots pass D.
Our defence
Rodgers might be hurt. Took a hit & stayed down, now he's been taken to the sideline.
Yeah it didn't look good. That's game over if he's done.
Golden Tate fucking loves playing against the Saints.
Andrus Peat just buried some poor Lion  Nice bump from Thomas to allow Ted Ginn space for the catch & run TD.
Brilliant start.
I forgot how shit the Packers defence has been this season.
Patriots :harold:
At least we know that the Browns will be taking a QB.
If Collins could sort out his fumble issues he could be fucking mega.
Stafford :D
Absolute fuck all protection :roflol:
Texans defenders now injuring other defenders :D
Texans aren't going to have any defenders left by midseason at this rate. Just as well every Browns QB is obliged to throw at least two picks per game.
Packers defence showing up for the first time in year too.
Nice to see we're back to being shit this week.
Edit: Not on Flacco at all.
Shit bobble by Perriman and then a good catch by the defender.
What can't Tarik Cohen do?
Cohen suddenly a QB then.
CJ Beathard is a great name.
We're stomping the Lions so far. Even more shockingly, a lot of it is due to the run game.
Green Bay are so lucky Keenum is absolutely shite.
Non-existent apparently.
I know that's they way they've gone with the interpretation, but that not being a TD is madness. He has the ball for several steps, and breaks the plane with it in his hand(s) before it came out.
Assuming you mean Montgomery, it sounds like it was overturned as a drop, rather than being short of the goal line.
Yeah, incomplete pass. The only reason he 'lost control' of it was because he was reaching for the line.
Laquon Treadwell making his first contribution of the season by murdering a Packer.
Rodgers might have a broken collarbone. Not good news :uhoh:
RIP Aaron Rodgers.
And actually RIP Sam Bradford, they're saying his career is potentially done.
Really? Blimey.
If that's true it's a shame as he was finally playing well at Minnesota. Still, timed perfectly for Teddy to slide back in without any awkwardness.
Vikings are properly shitting the bed on their time management and avoidable penalties.
4 and 30 with 4 seconds left and hail marying :cab:
I fancied Joe Flacco to have a good game this week. Luckily I thought that about Monday or Tuesday & I'd come to my senses by Wednesday (by which I mean 'shifted to Brissett').
Shame for Bradford. A good QB but just made of glass.
The Ravens are such a confusing team.
Kevin Hogan just chucking the ball on the floor in the endzone :D Browns have to take a QB with the first overall pick, which they're obviously going to have again this year.
Only question is, which one's the right one to take?
What the fuck?
He got tripped by a team mate? Stunning :D
Rainey you beautiful fucking beast for knowing you weren't tripped by a defender.
Brees has finally thrown an INT :(
Not entirely sure how that isn't a catch, considering Michael Thomas had the ball in his hands when he hit the ground, and Slay only had one hand vaguely on the ball, but it's been upheld so whatever.
EDIT: That's a pretty weird TD from the Ravens :D
Rainey
Officially confirmed Rodgers has a broken collarbone.
Makes our game with them in a couple of week much easier, but still rubbish to lose him for most/all of the season.
Officially confirmed Kamara can jump.
He sure can
Is there a healthy Packer remaining? Sounds like they've lost at least another two.
EDIT: We're fucking shitting on Detroit like they're the 2008 Lions.
Lattimore
Fuck me the Lions are being mauled.
What a monster catch by Treadwell.
2 catches in one game? My word, he's going off on one.
Flacco is a mong, you have to know where the line of scrimmage is.
He was at least 2 yards over.
Elite QB play from Flacco.
Hell of a catch from Marvin Jones there. Here begins the comeback...
EDIT: Are the Packers using the same fitness regime as Baltimore?
Mosley
:face:
What a pick that was by Harrison Smith.
Refs in the Pats game are on the take.
Sack them all.
Yeah, that was a very dodgy call.
How the fuck is there still a whole quarter left in the Saints/Lions game? Way too much time left for Stafford to score more points :uhoh:
Even with his 4th quarter record, he defence is being held together by string. Not a chance he overturns from that far back.
Kiko Alonso carrying Taylor Gabriel downfield for about five yards then calmly putting him down on his feet :D
EDIT: Good week for us in the NFC South. Not sure the Cardinals will be able to do a whole lot against Tampa, but even so it's worked out very nicely (assuming we don't bottle this one, anyway).
Justin Tucker
What a magnificent man he is.
There's still 12 mins left on the Saints game. How?!
Campanaro is a serious weapon when healthy.
Ravens continue to be confusing.
There may also be life in the Lions yet.
I told you, they always come back. You can't kill them.
Doesn't help that we've stopped scoring any points of our own in the second half, mind.
Just seen that Trubisky is 5/12 for 82 yards :D
Howard :harold:
The fuck in the Rams match?
103 yard return TD for the Rams then Fournette pumps in a 75 yard TD with his first carry.
That was an amazing return.
Peterson :eyemouth:
Thank fuck I'm not playing him again this week. Well, unless I am in one of the random leagues, but I don't care about them.
That spin move from Pharoh Cooper was horrible, and yet it worked :D Also AP can still play, it seems.
What a punt :harold:
Breesus :D
Lions have this.
Fucking end this game already!
I told you. They do it every game & we're a bunch of bottlers.
3rd and 2 and we pass.
We just got 8 yards on two running plays.
Oh fuck off.
Don't try and strip him, just take him down ffs.
Garcon's knee was down there, right? Top catch if so.
We can be miserable together, 'how.
:face:
The play calling is infuriating at times, all they had to do was run at 3rd and 2.
They'd have likely gotten the first down and in the locker room now.
CAMERON JORDAN IS A LITERAL GOD :pards:
EDIT: That smiley's changed since I last used it :D
Two running backs averaging 4.9 carries a run compared to a QB who is struggling to fuck.
Yeah, let's give it to Flacco.
Weddle is brilliant but he's a dick, they're nowhere if he just takes the man down.
Howard is on the 10/11 yard line if you take him down, keep it tight. We don't need a turnover there.
What a game the Saints/Lions have played today. Typical Saints football, mind. Points all over the place.
It's even more insane, though, that we've scored 50pts but Snead & Thomas have combined for less than 50 yards.
Hey, remember Chris Ivory?
Our running backs had a combined 25 carries, Howard had 36.
San Francisco losing all their games by a field goal :D
Interesting free kick there :D
The Saints game is STILL going!
Kansas have been absolutely horrendous so far.
That blocked punt return TD was brilliant.
Looked like half of the Rams on the pitch were in a giant huddle plowing it in.
If you;d have told me a few years ago I'd be siding with Colin Kaepernick I'd have laughed in your face but if it's true he's suing the league owners I hope he fucking wins.
Yep I hope he cleans them.
It would be brilliant.
I mean, other than "some money" i don't know what the satisfactory endgame is. How much money would he have to get for it to actually hurt them collectively?
I get that even a 8-figure sum would be amazing if he was putting it to good causes but that's not going to REALLY hurt the 32 owners.
Forego the money for an apology from the owners
Has Keenan Allen gone off injured, or has he just not had a catch for about half the game?
EDIT: Not injured, just seen him. AP is running wild today - just mugged off Brent Grimes.
Melvin
Fournette injured. Didn't look good either :(
Jags are fucked now.
Black Mamba striking against the Steelers
Kobe Bryant's playing for the Chiefs now?
Fournette apparently cleared to return.
That was brilliant by Brown.
The celebration though, shit.
He stole it from De'Anthony Thomas:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_uQW8XimU8
I've been a fan of him since that game. He was only given 2 rushes. The first was a 91 yard rush TD, the second was a 64 yard TD run.
I'd have given him the ball a couple more times, personally.
He did this the next year at a Bowl game too:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0pQ3RI9Gm0
Jaguars :cab:
53 yard attempted field goal on second down.
Marrone must have had Myers in his fantasy team.
James Harrison is a machine.
Stuffed at home by the sodding Giants. Fuck's sake.
Fuck.
Holy shit.
Kev. :(
Just watched the Giants/Broncos game. Fucking hell that was shite all round.
Genuinely a bit gutted about Kev. Even though he's not been on it he was a big part of my initial NFL-watching experience.
He's rocking Cadles in heaven now.
Cecil had best be involved.
I've not bothered with almost any coverage since he went. Just stuck to red zone and the BBC games.
Bowman has signed for the Raiders, if anyone cares.
Raiders have signed Bowman for $3m (he also gets his 49ers contract for the year), which has surprised me slightly. I thought he'd end up with the Patriots or the Saints.
Edit: Fuck you, Browning.
Apparently we had a deal in place to trade a 7th round pick for him, but then they cut him & it only really sounded like he was going to end up in Oakland. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have re(re?)-signed CJ Spiller.
Mariota starting tonight, so I await the impending demise of my perfect fantasy week.
We only had 3 WRs practicing today.
Michael Campanaro (strange seeing him not dead this late in the season), Chris Moore and newly signed Griff Whalen.
raiders chiefs was AMAZING
Alex Smith has been a God this season.
Any interest in a weekly pick’em contest? I have too much free time now I’ve got weekends off so I need something to do :D
Pick the winner of each game, maybe a position based pick (best WR/QB etc) and stuff like that.
Sure.
Here's what I'm thinking:
- Pick the winner for every game (or just Sunday games if people prefer) - 1pt for each one correct
- GAME OF THE WEEK - Pick the winner of a major/close/big game (2pts if correct) and over/under on a points total for the game (another 2pts)
- The #1 QB will be...(5pts if correct, otherwise 1pt for the person who picks the highest scoring player - based on the scoring in TTH league*)
- #1 WR
- #1RB
- Maybe #1 TE & DST if people want to (no kicker though, obviously)
- Individual player prediction (guess the final score for one specific player each week, to the nearest whole point) - 10pts minus 1 for each point off
Highest total score wins the week. Maybe I'll tally it for the season too.
*For those outside the league it's basically standard fantasy scoring, but 6pt passing TD & -2 for an INT.
EDIT: This is the draft for this week:
Toggle Spoiler
Chiefs/Raiders doesn't count this week, obviously.
I'm out.
Kickers (well Tucker) are real people too.
Maybe I'll make Tucker the individual player every now & again :)
This week the number 1 WR will be... on dan’s bench.
GAME OF THE WEEK - Patriots v Falcons - Over/under 64.5 total points
---
Bucs v Bills
Jags v Colts
Saints v Packers
Ravens v Vikings
Jets v Dolphins
Cardinals v Rams
Panthers v Bears
Titans v Browns
Chargers v Broncos
Cowboys v 49ers
Redskins v Eagles
Seahawks v Giants
Steelers v Bengals
---
The #1 QB this week will be... Dak Prescott
The #1 RB this week will be... Le'Veon Bell
The #1 WR this week will be...Julio Jones
The #1 TE this week will be...Gronkowski
The #1 DST this week will be...Tennessee Titans
---
This week, Alshon Jeffery will score... 10 points
Ronnie Stanley is questionable with the reason/injury being 'mouth' :cab:
GAME OF THE WEEK – Patriots @ Falcons - Over/under 64.5 total points - This will be tighter than most people can imagine, saying that cue Falcons blowing another massive lead in a big matchup to anyone including the Patriots. The Patriots needs this win badly so that we can all suck on their Super Bowl dicks.
---
Bucs v Bills – The NFC South looks rammed plus they are not getting out of it if their lives depends on it. The Bills on the other hand are praying for a massive Patriots fuckup.
Jags v Colts – Dumpster match.
Saints v Packers – The Packers offence won't show up. The Saints can grab this matchup by the balls.
Ravens v Vikings – For fuck sake Mahow, supporting the Ravens can only give you constant migraines. Adam Thielen to run riot please.
Jets v Dolphins – Oh boy another dumpster match. This doesn't help both teams so expect this to go the distance with a Jets win to save our sanity.
Cardinals v Rams – London games won't be kind to the Rams. AP to run riot and Palmer to throw bombs...and probably a few INTs while he's at it.
Panthers v Bears – Fuck you Cam Newton. Jordon Howard to go on a tear please.
Titans v Browns – Another dumpster match though Titans really need to win this to top the division.
Chargers v Broncos – Complete garbage. Seriously couldn't care less about this game. Probably went for the sensible option come to think of it.
Cowboys v 49ers – Christ alive. No doubt the Cowboys will go 3-3 with Ezekiel still not suspended due to reasons. A fuckup from the Redskins on Monday night would be nice.
Seahawks v Giants – Godspeed Giants, I hear Sterling Shepard is back to soften the blow somewhat. Dear Russell Wilson, please turn up for the sake of my fantasy team, thank you...Pleb.
Steelers v Bengals – Should be a dumper fire of a matchup so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bengals turned up just for shits and giggles.
(Monday Night) Redskins v Eagles – Eagles need to get out of the division quickly.
---
The #1 QB this week will be...Cam Newton (because it’s Cam Newton)
The #1 RB this week will be...Jordon Howard (sure why not)
The #1 WR this week will be...Doug Baldwin (he's due a big game surely?)
The #1 TE this week will be...The Gronkster (playing the falcons helps)
The #1 DST this week will be...The New Orleans Saints because Aaron Rodgers is dead and their offence is now garbage.
This week, Alshon Jeffery will score... 7 points probably. Who knows.
Hope I got that right. I'll probably get none of those right.
Patriots beat the Falcons. Under 64.5 points.
Bills beat the Bucs
Saints beat the Packers
Vikings beat the Ravens
Jets beat the Dolphins
Rams beat the Cardinals
Panthers beat the Bears
Titans beat the Browns
Broncos beat the Chargers
Cowboys beat the Niners
Redskins beat the Eagles
Seahawks beat the Giants
Steelers beat the Bengals
The #1 QB will be Matt Ryan (was tempted by Dak but I'll pick different to those picked already)
The #1 RB will be Todd Gurley due to the power of my jersey.
The #1 WR will be Julio Jones
The #1 TE will be Zach Ertz
The #1 DST will be Sacksonville
Alshon Jeffrey will score 8 points
Better do mine, I guess:
GAME OF THE WEEK - Patriots v Falcons - Over/under 64.5 total points
Tough one to start with, as both offences have the potential to run wild. I'm also pretty happy with where I set the point spread, as I can easily imagine it being 38-34 or something similar. In the end though, I think the Falcons defence is slightly better than the Patriots, and Julio Jones will finally have a big game. Falcons RBs should both do well too. I'm still not really sure why I'm betting against the Patriots, but I am. 32-28 win for Atlanta, just for the record.
---
Bucs v Bills - Bills have been good, and the Bucs DEF is bad, but their offence is good enough to pinch this one if Jameis plays, which he should
Jags v Colts - Two not good teams, but the Jags DEF should be enough to see them through. It'll be a horrible game if Fournette doesn't play though.
Saints v Packers - Hundley still settling in & a weakened O-Line should be just enough for our DEF to cope with their receivers. Could go very wrong though.
Ravens v Vikings - Two iffy offences facing strong defences. Another horrible game, Vikings win by a field goal. Sorry Mahow.
Jets v Dolphins - I'm not sure I even want to think about this game. Dolphins because Ajayi, I guess. Don't make me watch it.
Cardinals v Rams - Should be a good game, but the Rams to nick it with good defence & ball control. AP to be solid, but not great.
Panthers v Bears - I can't bet on Trubisky, even if their DEF is sneaky decent & Cam's all over the place.
Titans v Browns - They're playing the Browns. That's usually enough.
Chargers v Broncos - Could go either way, but the Chargers can't tackle & Rivers can't stop throwing picks. Hoping for a big CJ Anderson game.
Cowboys v 49ers - This could be a better game than it sounds. Cowboys fairly comfortably though.
Redskins v Eagles - Kinda want to go Washington, as it's a divisional game, but I can't. Hopefully I don't jinx Wentz.
Seahawks v Giants - Two teams with shit O-Lines, patchy run games & good defences, but Wilson can actually move, and they have receivers.
Steelers v Bengals - It'll be close & probably pretty scrappy, but Steelers scrape a win.
---
The #1 QB this week will be...Matt Ryan. I really like Dak too, but the Patriots are awful & they could need to throw a lot to keep up with Brady.
The #1 RB this week will be...CJ Anderson. The Chargers are pathetic, he just needs to get the work. Tempted to say Ingram, but that's a bit too bold.
The #1 WR this week will be...Julio Jones. Only way he's not good this week is if he doesn't get thrown to.
The #1 TE this week will be...Zack Ertz. He's a beast & Wentz loves him.
The #1 DST this week will be...LA Rams. Aaron Donald will murder Carson Palmer if the Cards O-Line is as bad as it's been so far.
---
This week, Alshon Jeffery will score...9pts I fancy him to do basically the same as last week, but I'm going slightly higher to account for a potential TD.
Josh Norman has been ruled out against us. Get Jeffery 1v1 on his replacement.
Fournette not expected to play against the Colts, but not yet officially ruled out. They’re on a bye next week too, so he’ll have a good amount of rest before his next game.
Thank Allah
I almost caved and bought a ticket for tonight after my Wembley game but there's fuck all parking on site apparently and I'd have had to use the park and ride.
I drive to escape public transport you knobs.
Is there a UK game today? Why isn't it on early like the others?
Cardinals/Rams.
They're experimenting a bit I guess or they think the game is big enough to hold up at primetime?
I think to test one being more like a lunchtime kick off in East America. Never mind the fact that the west coast is still in bed through our usual kick offs.
http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/2-23-2016/5cO4L9.gif
He's back
Jaylen Hill is also active for the first time and he looked fucking incredible in the pre-season.
Brandon Carr
I so hope our D is back.
Turned on just in time to see Aaron Jones walking into the endzone :D
Treadwell made a right jumble of that, basically tipped it up to let Carr pick it off.
This Hundley thing would go well if they could run like that all the time.
Panthers :D
Bears defence is getting some plays recently.
Typical Ravens - Wallace comes back, immediately drilled & injured again.
Another WR dead? Fun.
I believe we're at the following right now:
Michael Campanaro
Chris Moore
Griff Whalen
All our other WRs are injured.
Nice attempt at diving into the endzone from Marquise Lee - basically superman dived & chucked the ball about fifty rows into the stands :D
What a jammy catch from Kenny Stills.
EDIT: Good old Saints, stumbling when people start to get their hopes up.
Breesus has money on the Packers handicap.
Drew, please.
LOL at the Dolphins entire defence failing to tackle the corpse of Matt Forte while he hobbles 20 yards for a first down.
Cordrea Tankersley seems to always give up a big play or two.
Pleb :console:
Join the 'Wrong QB Club' with me & 'how.
Bears D are shafting the Panthers.
The juke of Cam
Looks like Crowell's good game this season might be today. Already has 50 yards from scrimmage, which is probably more than any game this season.
Tucker
Oh and Mike Wallace is done for the day.
That's disgusting from Crawley.
Just push Hundley out, make them work for the TD.
Ken Crawley with some standard Ken Crawley coverage on Jordy there :D Luckily it was offset by some holding, but not so luckily he just let Hundley run into for a TD the next play.
I think i may have given Pleb a bit too much confidence in our defence.
If the Bills hadn't recovered that loose ball whoever it was that failed to pick it up twice, then kicked it out of his own hands the third time, would've been cut.
The Packers are doing what teams should be doing - targeting the middle of the field & working over our linebackers.
Still, at least the Panthers & Bucs are losing too.
Maybe now they'll have a gameplan instead of the usual one of, 'see that guy wearing 12? Yeah he throws the ball real good, let him to that all game.'
The Panthers :henn0rz: Chicago are good at home, so it's handy that we're playing them in the Superdome next week.
Trubisky's not in seeing that on replay. John Fox is such a miserable, unambitious coach. Why not go for it inside the 1 when you have Jordan Howard?
Gurley is great when he's on it.
Is Kizer elite?
About as elite as Jay Cutler, I'd say.
What was that from Buffalo? :p
It's amazing how much better the Rams are without Jeff Fisher. In the sense that they're so much better than expected, rather than them just being better off without Fisher, which was always going to be the case.
Speaking of Jeff Fisher, he appears to have silently got the job as the Dolphins offensive co-ordinator this season.
Is the Blaine Train going to leave Arizona station? He's probably not even active, but if he is
Jeff Fisher only ever planned to play against the Seahawks. Forget every other game, so long as they beat them.
Damn. Maybe next week then.
Can the Browns bench Kizer again?
Didn't the Browns trade down, passing on Watson for Kizer? lol.
Passed on Wentz and Goff too ofc.
And Dak.
Yep. Passed on Wentz the year before too. There's talk that the Colts should trade Luck - they'd probably be the favourites if that's actually possible. Then again they could just draft Sam Darnold, who's basically the same guy from what I hear.
Disgusting one-handed catch from CMC.
http://www.espn.com/blog/cleveland-b...they-passed-on
Passed on Rofflesburger too because the coach was a moron set in his ways and now Ben has more wins in Cleveland than any Cleveland QB at home since 1999.
Ben has 11 wins in Cleveland (since 2004) and the best Browns QB, Derek Anderson, has 10 wins at home.
Nice to see that even will Brandon Williams back we're giving up big TD runs.
To Latavius Murray as well.
Jefferson, who has been shit, had a good shot at him too.
11 years without missing a single snap (until now) is some fucking going.
Edit: Over 10,000 you gimp.
10,363 consecutive snaps for Joe Thomas. The poor guy deserves a ring just for suffering as long as he has.
Cutler's injured. Maybe the Dolphins will be good now.
It's not a true NFL season without a snap for Matt Moore in Miami.
I genuinely had no idea he was still there backing people up.
Either Goff is overthrowing Watkins every single time or Watkins is missing a step.
Guess it had to be quite serious for Thomas to go down.
Already ruled out.
Joe Thomas ruled out with a tricep injury. Browns may as well trade him now.
Aiken :D
He ran back about 6 yards to try and find something.
Marlon Mack really deserves more touches.
Kemar Aiken catching a pass & running backward five yards to get tacked. I see why he's not playing more now.
Good to see the Colts still shitting the bed.
That QB sneak, if that's what it was meant to be, was hilarious.
Julius Thomas used to play basketball. I know nobody ever mentions it, but he did.
Fucking hell Jets I know your meant to be shit but winning against Miami? :harold:
And there's the customary Matt Moore interception.
Poor Jared Goff getting thrown like a small child by one of the Cardinals on that INT return.
We're on a fucking rampage in Miami.
Someone hold my beer.
I was always surprised at how badly Seferian-Jenkins did in Tampa. He's about 8 foot tall, just lob it up when midget linebackers/safeties are on him.
He's good when he's not being a fucking moron.
Palmer's officially done for the day.
Cam Newton is getting dangerously close to being cut from my team due to the way he's been playing this week.
Could the Bills forget to defend Mike Evans and not 'Juice'.
Someone forgot to cover OJ Howard. Guess we know who the TE #1 will be this week.
Kevin Byard has three INTs in this game
First time that Treadwell has done multiple catches in back to back games.
Nice of Kessler to throw it to the Titans there.
Receiver wasn't close.
Doug Martin with some really nice ducking & diving to get a first down. He's looked like the good Doug Martin this year.
We could really use a TD on this drive to give us a cushion.
Dan
Is Fuchs drunk?
Browns getting their hopes raised, only for the inevitable 50 yard Succop FG at the death. Still, for them even to be in the game after all these INTs is pretty surprising.
My boy Cooper Kupp getting in the endzone
WOOOOOOOOOOO
Garbage time TD.
$57m dead money in cap if we cut Flacco so in Joe we trust forever.
Titans should of gone for it at 4th down with seconds left.
Tossers.
I can't wait for the shit off on Thursday.
Which offence will be worse?
There will be one true loser though, the viewing audience.
I know it's only his first start but it's blatantly obvious that Hundley has zero talent to play QB in the NFL. Get Romo on the phone.
Nice one Jets keep fucking up.
Looks like my prediction of a 32-24 win for the Saints is going to be pretty close to the mark.
Landry's been really good since Parker went out.
Have you got him on the practice squad?
Go Bills Go! Quite happy to get all my predictions wrong if it means the Saints can get another jump on the rest of the division.
I'm not surprised that Desean Jackson would be the one to end a lateral pass back thing.
The Titans made a right hash of that, but Cleveland literally can't win any game, so we've all got one pick right at least.
Did one Dolphins defender just slap the guy who picked the pass off so hard that he lost his balance?
Amazing :D
That's a proper chimp out by Robby Anderson.
Carson Palmer is out for around 8 weeks after breaking his arm.
GET THE BLAINE TRAIN ROLLING
There's no way either he or Stanton survive more than three weeks though.
They can have Joe Flacco for an avocado, a cactus and a postcard from the Grand Canyon.
What a goalline stand that was.
Turned on the Denver game just in time to see a 4th-and-goal attempt from the Chargers get stuffed at the line.
Gordon can't get a decent amount of yardage against anyone, so I'm not all that surprised he failed to get a yard against Denver. Quite surprised they didn't go play action at least once.
That was far too easy.
That's some great special teams work from Denver.
Yeah that was pretty ugly. :moop:
49ers looking so bad the Cowboys benched Zeke at 14-0 up.
When does Pro Bowl voting normally start? Feels like it's due to start around now, but I can't remember when exactly.
The Broncos offense is vile.
That hurdle attempt :D
Told you Witten would score today.
So much for Martavis getting featured today & not losing snaps to Juju.
I've had to give up on Gamepass. Apparently my mum and dad's rural internet isn't up to streaming. :moop:
Might be a blessing in disguise.
Twickenham is still shite compared to Wembley but Gurley is the man.
A safety on kick offs?
Dan Bailey injured. Nice of the SF returner to bobble it, read a book then decide to run it out with defenders already in his face.
Dan Bailey injured. Tucker is finally the best in the league.
I don't know, Ryan Succop & Greg Zuerlein are both playing pretty well...
That drop :|
That was an elite level drop from Jimmy Graham.
Melvin Ingram just got flagged for roughing the passer when Siemian was still holding the ball :D
Melvin Gordon has eight yards so far, and CJ Anderson has nine :moop:
Great game for fans of running football, that.
Younghoe Koo to come in for Dallas for next week please.
Contest for the job between him, Aguayo & Nick Folk
Younghoe has to go to Tampa Bay and be cut again for that contest to be fair.
Just got in (made great time to be fair) and of course Game Pass is more broken than Carson Palmer.
'Zeke is shifting on the Niners.
Fuck off Zeke.
What a PAT :D
PAT's are a piece of piss - even a safety can make one.
Well hello, Ezekiel.
Laces out.
Not the finest PAT I've ever seen, that one :D
Jatavis Brown showing why he plays defence. That was actually a worse drop the Jimmy Graham's earlier.
What an interception :D
Straight down the middle.
He's zoned in now.
GamePass starting to fuck up now
Stunning by the chimp.
Speaking of things starting to fuck up, what was that from Trevor Siemian?
We might as well look to give Lynch a go unless he's stinking it up in training. The line isn't the only issue for Siemian.
So, in the market for a QB in this draft we have:
Cleveland
Jacksonville
San Francisco
NY Jets
NY Giants
Arizona
Also possibly:
Washington
Indy
Denver
New Orleans
Pittsburgh
Buffalo
LA Chargers
Miami
Baltimore
Minnesota
So basically all the shit teams & every team that hasn't drafted a QB in the last five years. We can probably expect some hefty trades in the offseason as teams try to get up the draft board & grab one.
Jacksonville won't need one. They'll sign Alex Smith and he'll finally with a Super Bowl.
OK the last part is a stretch, but I think he'll land there.
That would be really nice, actually.
Smith to the Jags
Cousins to the 49ers
Luck to the Browns
Brees to the Jets
Steelers taking the piss with the fake punt
21-0 to the Chargers. :face:
Unless Lynch gets a go and shows something Denver will definitely be looking at QBs again, though I wonder if Elway would like to get a veteran in again.
Timberlake is doing the half time show in February.
He's not happy about it either.
https://i.gyazo.com/fb2b1817916de922...dbe068ccf1.png
We should take bets on what day this week he's traded and to whom.
LOL.
Browns, obviously. They love fast guys who get suspended.
Nailed on Bears.
Also a good shout. Bills or Giants maybe? Basically anyone with shit WRs.
In other news, Joe Thomas is officially done for the year, and Dan Bailey is out a few weeks. Mahow will be pleased to know that Younghoe is in line for a workout.
https://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/fbf...06-8283347.JPG
The family are on their way.
First throw by Wentz was from in his own end zone, looking for a long bomb to Smith and intercepted. Bit of a shakey start for us, need to get on it.
I think he recovered alright
EDIT: Just watched the highlights. That play where he 'gets sacked' :cab:
Jerry and the rest of his racist brigade have signed Mike Nugent to kick for them.
The more I see of Wentz this season, the more I think we've got "our guy."
Only 24 too. We could have him for the next 10+ years.
Aguayo beat out Younghoe for a spot on the Panthers practice squad. When you’re a kicker you fall far & fast.
Especially when you're attempting to make a team owned by racists.
@Sir Andy Mahowry - Your Ravens are on tonight, please let the defence give Jarvis Landry the ball :)
More chance of Ajayi going for about 200 yards and 4 TDs.
Pass D is still relatively good (shit against Kessler and Trubisky though), especially at home.
No Wallace, Campanaro or Chris Matthews so our receiving core will be fun.
The TNF intro song
The SNF one is worse.
Flacco wanting to get more aggressive with passes on early downs? FFS, we need to run more not pass more.
First rush for Ajayi and he has his best of the season, lol.
Fuck
The penalty didn't help.
That pass to Maclin was
That Kiko alonso hit on Flacco was troubling.
Mallett at the helm would be a real concern if the Dolphins had any offensive poise to speak of.
So, I’m thinking you’re pretty happy right now Mahow?
Also, someone remind me to do picks tomorrow - I’ve barely been in this week so completely forgot until now.
Was surprised to see Ajayi got me so few points. Having seen the score I'm pleased he got me so many points.
That hit by Alonso was absolutely disgusting.
What a game though and it's time we give Alex 'The Irish Dancer' Collins the keys to the backfield, he even caught a couple of balls.
CJ Mosley  That was a stunning play.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xAIkAaXW04
Romo :D
Yeah Alonso needs a fine and ban for a few games. Good to see the Dolphins could actually be worse without Cutler.
Romo's cat commentary.
The hit by Alonso actually looked like he was trying to make it worse than it was too, dirty bastard.
Let's all lol at the pre-game talk as well, especially Deion with his (Matt) 'Moore points' bollocks.
Classy Dolphins.
Bob McNair is a dumb twat.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...ing-the-prison
Oh and Judon (with a little help but Landry was going) showing Jarvis the way to suplex city:
Hero.
Bills have trade Dareus to Sacksonville for a 6th rounder.
He hasn't been that great this year but if he can recapture his form that's outstanding by the Jags.
I've tallied up the scores from last week's pick'em, and here are the results...
@Sir Andy Mahowry - 16pts
@Pleb - 18pts
Me - 19pts
@Browning - 22pts
So our winner for the week is Browning, who had a clear margin of victory despite not even picking the Jags/Colts game :D He got the correct winner & over/under in the game of the week, as well as the best guess for every positional pick except QB.
I'll get the week 8 picks up shortly. Trying to do it while watching Oklahoma State & Western Virginia trade turnovers.
Damn, wonder how I missed that one. Obviously would have picked the Jaguars too :(
Oh well, I'll take the win. I knew Gurley wouldn't let me down.
Week 8 Pick'em:
Game of the Week: Cowboys v Redskins. Over/under 49.5pts.
Vikings v Browns
Patriots v Chargers
Steelers v Lions
Saints v Bears
Bucs v Panthers
Chiefs v Broncos
Raiders v Bills
Seahawks v Texans
Falcons v Jets
Eagles v 49ers
Colts v Bengals
#1 QB:
#1 RB:
#1 WR:
#1 TE:
#1 DST:
Doug Baldwin will score:
Man, this Oklahoma State/West Virginia game is a mess.
I've already lost count of the number of turnovers & almost turnovers in the first half. I was hoping to get a look at the two QBs but they've barely done anything as it's been mainly run plays then a turnover.
EDIT: Another turnover. Think we've had five fumbles & two INTs with more than a quarter to play, and there should've been at least two more INTS.
Now we've got a punt blocked in the endzone for a TD. This has been a horrible game :D Pick-6 on the next drive too - gone from 30-10 to 30-24 in about 2mins.
Cowboys, Over
Vikings (but it'll be a game of the year contender... it has to be after I thought it would be the only shite game of the UK slate and instead all the games have been shite so far).
Patriots
Steelers
Saints
Bucs
Chiefs
Bills
Seahawks
Falcons
Eagles
Bengals
QB: Wentz
RB: Lev Bell
WR: AJ Green
TE: Kyle Rudolph
DST: Vikings
Baldwin will score 12 points (I think he has a TD in him this week).
18 points? I'll take that. Right here goes...
GAME OF THE WEEK: Cowboys v Redskins. Over - Well this one should be pretty obvious. Unless Kirk Cousins suddenly turns up and goes all Tom Brady on us I cannot see this any other way other than a very dominant Cowboys win. Is Ezekiel Elliot still banned/relevant/a beast?
Vikings v Browns - Keep on eye on this one. London games have a huge tendency to go into overtime and/or become right belters. As this is a "pick an outright winner" contest I sense a Vikings victory because the Browns are still fucking horseshit.
Patriots v Chargers - Hide behind the sofa Chargers fans, your fucked.
Saints v Bears - Oh boy I feel so sorry for you @Dan, this is not an equally exciting matchup for you. Unless Jordon Howard turns up and does his thing...which he will more than likely will I sense a Bears victory. Let's hope your defence can match up to Jordon Howard's running game.
Bucs v Panthers - I feel inclined to back the Bucs. That being said the Bucs can't kick for shit and Cam Newton who is benched in my TTH league will more than likely go on one and give the Panthers a much needed win.
Raiders v Bills - Someone hold my beer I'm backing the Raiders.
Seahawks v Texans - Not a good time to be facing the Seahawks at their home ground Houston. Pray for a fuckup from their defence.
Falcons v Jets - Let's hope for another Falcons fuckup. By fuckup I mean getting close to a huge shutout only for the Jets to laugh in their faces and get an unexpected W on their season record. That's probably not going to happen though surely?
Eagles v 49ers - Not a good time to be facing the Eagles 49ers fans. Continue on your quest to go 0 and 16 this year and get yourself a decent team for once with a regular starting QB.
Colts v Bengals - Oh boy we got a bore fest here lads. Flip of a coin time. Sure Colts take it. Oh wait there defence is shite. Never mind.
(Sunday Night) Steelers v Lions - The Lions are praying that Big Ben will throw picks and lots of it. Great choice for a Sunday Night game NBC. Muppets.
(Monday Night) Chiefs v Broncos - The Chiefs are on a bit of a slump. There facing the Broncos. What a time to be alive. Go and grab that Super Bowl slot and quick before the Patriots steal it from you (probably will never happen).
#1 QB: Carson Wentz - The man, the myth, the legend. Keep doing what your doing.
#1 RB: Kareem Hunt - He's been quiet lately. Expect that to change.
#1 WR: Tyreek Hill - If Kareem Hunt is still quiet, expect him to get the ball a lot.
#1 TE: Zach Etrz - Carson Wentz loves him the mad bastard.
#1 DST: The Eagles - It was a tossup between them and the Patriots so I'm inclined to pick them because the Lions look more shit than the Chargers are at the moment.
Doug Baldwin will score: 12 points - I'm with @Browning on this one. Maybe 15? Who knows.
Your notes for the Vikings and Saints games are real head scratchers.
Those are the only two matches I'm not really sure about. I feel the Vikings match may go into overtime though and I'm not a huge fan of the Browns at the moment.
The Saints match should surprise me though.
Game of the Week: Cowboys v Redskins. Over/under 49.5pts.
Vikings v Browns
Patriots v Chargers
Steelers v Lions
Saints v Bears
Bucs v Panthers
Chiefs v Broncos
Raiders v Bills
Seahawks v Texans
Falcons v Jets
Eagles v 49ers
Colts v Bengals
#1 QB: Wentz
#1 RB: Devonta Freeman
#1 WR: Antonio Brown
#1 TE: Travis Kelce
#1 DST: I would have picked the Ravens (fuck you Dan) but as is I'll go for Chiefs
Doug Baldwin will score: 7 points.
Game of the Week: Cowboys v Redskins. Over/under 49.5pts. Redskins are banged up & relying on Cousins to keep them in it. Zeke & Dak are studs, and should be enough to carry Dallas to a win. Feeling like this will be around the 50pt mark, but I'm going over since neither defence is really looking like they'll be able to keep the score down.
Vikings v Browns - Obviously.
Patriots v Chargers - Considered this for GOTW, as I think it could go either way, but the Pats D is just awful, so I'm taking the upset.
Steelers v Lions - Should be another good one, but I fancy the Steelers to nick it.
Saints v Bears - God, I hope we don't fuck this one up :D Surely we're going to crowd the box & make Trubisky throw to beat us?
Bucs v Panthers - Divisional games are always close but Panthers' D is better than Tampa's so I'll give them the edge. Cam to drive Pleb mad again.
Chiefs v Broncos - See above, but Chiefs offence is better than Denver's. Could be great or miserable, this one. Not expecting much from Kareem.
Raiders v Bills - Bills missing a lot of defensive players, potentially. Raiders to win a close one.
Seahawks v Texans - Wilson to outperform Watson in yet another close game.
Falcons v Jets - Kinda fancy the Jets, but I can't convince myself to pick them.
Eagles v 49ers - Second most obvious pick of the week, I'd imagine.
Colts v Bengals - This might be a close third unless you're Mahow. Colts are trash.
#1 QB: Brady - Wentz is so obvious that he surely won't finish top, so why not bet on the GOAT?
#1 RB: Melvin Gordon - Fancy this could be a shootout & Gordon will get lots of touches against a shit defence.
#1 WR: AJ Green - He's AJ Green, and he's playing the Colts.
#1 TE: Double H - Sticking to the hope of a Pats/Chargers shootout here. Just don't throw to Gates please Phil.
#1 DST: Vikings - This could end up exactly the the Thursday game.
Doug Baldwin will score: 13pts Fancy him for 65-85 yards & maybe a TD.
So, I didn't even realise that the Vikings/Browns game had already started. Doesn't look like I've missed much :D
Holy shit Crowell scored a TD. Should've guessed since Mert's playing him against me & I benched him in dynasty.
I thought it would be a 5pm game.
Yeah, didn't do us any favours by making the other one a late game, then starting this one early :panda:
Pleb's repeated drafting of Adam Thielen looks better each week.
He's Thielen good.
This was always likely to be shit I know, but Jesus.
Why can't you stay shit Crowell? :moop:
Cheers Kizer. We're not looking too good on our predictions of Minnesota being the #1 DST so far.
And that's why they're the Browns.
It's more than a Thielen.
The Vikings are such a likeable team with thielen, diggs and Rhodes.
Case keenum is a really solid backup too. The browns could've done a whole lot worse than plugging him in for a year on a 2million contract. As is, he's the number 3 at Minnesota and whilst not excelling isn't terrible. Think he was pretty unlucky to lose the starting job to Goff last year.
All Browns fans must shit their pants when the play call in the red zone is for Kizer to throw.
Thielen is looking too handy. Needs an ACL or something.
Is anyone surprised that a TE scored against the Browns? :D
Probably not going to see as much Crowell now Cleveland are two scores behind.
Is anyone surprised that the Browns got about 5 defensive penalties there?
I wish I was at this game just so I didn't have to put up with this fucking interviewer on the BBC.
Who the fuck is Bryce Treggs?
Love the commentator calling that he'd be proved wrong on that catch :D
How many college QBs are shitting themselves about being drafted to Cleveland next year?
Darnold
Jackson
Rosen
Allen
Mayfield
Grier
Kizer has won as many games as Kessler did last year. A big, fat 0.
Would not surprise me to see the top ranked draft QB pull an Elway/Manning next year.
Mayfield & Grier won't go until the second or third round, so you'd imagine Cleveland will have taken someone by then. Darnold still seems like the favourite, with Rosen the other likely candidate. They'll probably end up trading back & botching it again, or end up getting someone like Tyrod Taylor or Tannehill in free agency.
Kizer is rancid.
He can't even hit a five yard pass reliably. I have no idea what they're going to do, but whatever it is I'm pretty sure it'll be wrong.
Mike Carlson calling this the best game of the International Series pretty much sums up how awful the games have been this year.
We've had two big shutouts. A blowout and then that. Almost glad I missed it this year.
It's the fact that he zones in on one target completely too, especially after they went 2 TD's down.
He wasn't going through any reads, he wanted to pass to X and would wait until he could. It was like how I used to play Madden but I got annoyed at how many times I was being picked off.
Also, redzone starting 15 minutes late and Skysports covering Tennis instead of the NFL?
Have they given up?
The Tennis is on two channels as is the Leicester game.
This new system is bollocks.
Buffalo? Zzzzzzzzz
Gamepass or Redzone it is.
Nice catch & run from Coleman, and even nicer of Chicago to jump offside & give us a free first down.
Kamara
Kamara
My Younghoe would have made that.
Eat it, Chargers.
The Jets
Looks like I should've trusted my gut & picked the Jets. Gonna say it now so I can take partial credit if it pays off, my second pick for #1 TE was Tyler Kroft.
Love that I'm playing Richard & Washington, only for Olawale to be the one to score :D
Melvin
Think that's probably the first TD he's scored from more than 8 yards in his NFL career.
EDIT: Great leap from J-Stew to get in for the TD.
Matt Ryan :harold:
Alvin saved by a review too.
Clearly doesn't like the rain.
What a muffed punt that was.
Pretty much passed it right to a Colt.
That Colts pick is looking handy right now.
Benjamin :face:
Jesus christ.
What a spectacular mess that was :D
Did Hooper's hands just turn to bricks there?
I'm so glad that Mixon got tripped before the endzone.
Just a shame he didn't lose the ball.
Falcons are so, so rubbish this season. It's fabulous :D
Now we've got to grips with the wet ball, we're mincing the 49ers. Could get ugly.
How have we let Howard break off a run like that?
Giving up big plays every drive by the look of it. Defence has gone back to week one coverage.
The Colts coach expression change there :D
Dalton
Shame the Amari Cooper from last week seems to have gone back into hiding though.
Tyrell Williams should just give up.
Makes a big play but it's called back as he went out of bounds and now he just juggles the ball.
Finally a good-ish UK game this year.
I had to leave as soon as Rudolph scored because my daughter was really ill, but seems I missed nothing after that so it's fine.
So many fans that have come all the way from Cleveland around me made it fun too. Shame their team is garbage but at least they made a go of it for 3 quarters.
It feels like the Bills have had the ball for this entire game.
I seem to say this every week but the Colts really should give Marlon Mack more touches. He looks absolutely electric.
Alshon with a mega catch there.
Hell of a catch from Sanu there.
Matt Ryan :D
Fingers have been greased with oil.
Someone give Matt Ryan four pairs of gloves so he might actually be able to hold the ball.
Well there's a Mixon fumble.
Eat shit, dickhead.
Speaking of fumbles, Ingram doing us no favours today. Inevitable Bears victory drive incoming.
Lattimore
Fuller
Watson fisting the Seahawks already.
Will Fuller has something insane like 5 TDs from 9 catches this season.
Perhaps not.
That's a good start. More please!
Heh, almost everyone knelt after Bob McNair went full retard the other day.
Some stormed out of practice that day.
So, who picked Doyle and Robby Anderson?
They were too obvious. I fancied taking a punt on a longshot.
A Jordan Reed injury? I'm stunned.
Credit to Alfred Blue, his QB asked him to block for him & he definitely did the job :D
Nice block it was too. Laid out.
Redskins trying to throw the game now.
Russell Wilson just false started :cab: I'm not sure I knew that was even possible.
Hopkins is a don.
Hopkins has been rather good this season.
Watson > Warner.
Wilson with the stiff arm :D
Just imagine how shit Watson would have been had the Browns not passed on him.
Cousins is a jammy fucker :D
Bound to score a TD now.
How does Bob Marley like his donuts?
With Josh Doctson?
Richardson has some great catches in him.
Might be wise to defend Jimmy Graham.
Graham, Richardson & Lockett have had a thousand yards & eighty TDs in this game, and Doug Baldwin has been out there running around too, probably.
Great game.
Shame the Texans lost.
What a stupid, mad game that was.
Time for more garbage time for Washington...
Or that.
21 seconds for Cousins to throw another pick.
That pick six put the total points over the pick'em line
I don't know if any of you saw Zach Millers' called back TD, but he fucked his leg up pretty bad. I'll spoiler the pic of it below for the squeamish of us but he's needed emergency surgery to apparently save the leg, not just fix it.
Toggle Spoiler
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/41805844
That’s a TD every day of the week even with the horse shit rules.
Jesus, didn’t realise it was that bad.
He's gone through successful surgery and is being scanned. Looks like it's leg saved, enjoy early retirement.
We(Seattle) just traded for an offensive lineman. Duane Brown. Ready your anuses gents, the Wilson train is on it's way....
Apparently the Eagles have asked the Lions about trading Megatron to them.
He doesn't sound like he wants back in though.
For Jeremy Lane and a draft pick.
Considering the reports were that Graham might be dealt, the Texans have played it poorly.
Lane is a bomb scare and has been since he broke himself picking off Brady on the night Lynch should have just run it in.
Edit: 5th in 2018 and 2nd in 2019 isn't too shabby actually, especially considering that Brown has held out for most of the year as he wanted a huge contract despite being 32.
Jimmy G’s gone to San Fran! No, not Graham, the other one.
Oh, and Zeke’s gone again. For now...
Second rounder is decent but it's puts them back to square one when the day comes that Brady's play goes off a cliff. That said, Belichek will probably retire too so he won't care so much.
Watch them take get someone like Mayfield or Grier with that pick & them be better than Garoppolo.
It’s more interesting for Kirk Cousins, who was basically already a 49er in most people’s books.
The Pats depth chart is now Brady, Edelman (IR) and then..... who?
Hoyer got cut, so they’ll probably bring him back.
Jay Ajayi to the Eagles for a 4th rounder
Always.
Wow, that’s pretty mad.
There's always been talk of him being an absolute locker room cancer but it's still a low return for a guy on such a friendly contract.
Proper derp.
The Dolphins surely want to tank.
Not like the Colts who reportedly have put up Hilton,Gore,Moncrief for trade.
Dolphins still trying to shift Landry as well, by the sounds of it. Everyone’s desperately trying to offload as much talent as possible so they can be shit enough to draft early & get a QB.
If you’re a free agent this offseason you’re getting paid big money regardless of how good you are.
I would like to officially declare my eligibility as a QB.
I'd like to think of myself as a slightly more mobile Jared Lorenzen but with less passing abilities.
I'd take $5m a year no problem.
In before Mahow throws picks
Kiko Alonso wont be getting a suspension for trying to decapitate Flacco :cab:
Absolutely mental decision.
[gyfcat]sombergiftedbobcat[/gyfcat]
So this is legal now.
It's a horrid hit to see but I can see why they've not suspended him. It's a terrible slide from Flacco and the defender has to defend the line to gain against the runner.
It looks troubling when you see it in full speed, but if you break it down it's difficult to tell whether Flacco is even down by the time he's hit. QBs are protected heavily in the pocket, if they decide to scramble you can't just let them have a first down - they need to be tackle-able like a runner, and aiming at their knees is a legit method.
The referee deemed it a penalty, so it's not legal. He just wasn't suspended, because he had a legitimate right to try to stop the run.
There's trying to stop the run and there's going for his head.
He was down, mid-slide (they're not to be touched at that point) and Alonso goes in knowing he wants to hit his head.
Not sure about that.
On an aside, Kelvin Benjamin is swapping Charlotte for Buffalo. Obviously they have faith in Funchess.
For only a 3rd and a 7th? Fucking hell.
Bills have gotten away with murder there.
Browns apparently agreed to give up a second & third for AJ McCarron, only to spend too much time celebrating & not get the trade finished before the deadline :D
Benjamin deal is pretty mad - it'll be interesting to see what happens to both Tyrod & Cam now.
That might be the most Cleveland Browns thing ever.
Buffalo have quietly traded their way to dark horse territory for me.
And Eagles "going all in" apparently with a legit RB1 now in Ajayi. Although you have to wonder why on earth would the Dolphins part with him with such a low pick. Something fishy perhaps? Or just plain stupidity?
He’s always had knee issues & Gase has always hated him.
Brock is back
Someone please trade me the Eagles defence!
Apparently Gase is teaching the squad that if you don't impress you get traded. Sending him to Cleveland would have been much more effective than the league leaders... "Play well or else I'll trade you to the best team in the league!"
Gase is a mong.
As is the Panthers (interim) GM who decided to trade Kelvin because he wants MORE SPEED.
Which worked really well for the Raiders under Al Davis.
The cynic in me wonders whether Osweiler ahead of Lynch is less of a perceived better chance to turn things around in the short term and more protection for Paxton Lynch to give him more time before he's chucked in the deep end.

“The NFL has hurt us,” CEO John Schnatter (you know him better as Papa John) said via ABC News. “We are disappointed the NFL and its leadership did not resolve this.”
He also added that he thought the issue had been “nipped in the bud” a year ago.
The company is reportedly predicting a sales decline for its next quarter and feels the blame falls on the NFL’s shoulders. However, the company declined to disclose numbers to prove any type of loss.
:harold:
Who knew Papa John was a dickhead?
If minorities are kept down they'll continue to buy pizza to make them feel better. Good work, Papa John.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ditional-basis
Josh Gordon is back and now in 3 of my fantasy teams.
The Colts have put Luck on season ending IR. About time.
I think the time for me to release him has come. I've been in denial for 3 weeks.
DeShaun Watson has possibly torn his ACL in practice. Having an MRI to confirm.
Yea just seen that. Fuck.
I wonder if we can talk them into taking Brockweiler off us again.
Damn, they've had such shit luck. He looked genuinely good as well.
For. Fuck. Sake.
Matt McGloin coming in for them, whoever that is.
He was Derek Carr's backup when his knee blew up. Then got injured and the Raiders had to use the woeful Connor Cook.
Day after the trade deadline too. In before endless Kaepernick rumours.
As if Adams would have such a bad influence on his inmates.
Are you able to watch Thursday Night games on Game Pass (I only have the basic level, but it says the game is on NFL Network which you get 24/7) or will there be some block on it when it's a live game forcing me to find a dodgy stream?
You should watch it through GamePass surely?
Don't they have the NFL Network channel as a separate thing?
That's what I mean, but I'm not sure if the Network channel works when a live game is on the network if I haven't paid for that game. My subscription only covers 1 game per week.
I'm hoping it does work though.
I think it's only the Sky Sunday 6pm and 9pm games that are blacked out on Gamepass.
Though they work a lot of the time anyway. Gamepass can't even get blocking right.
Just realised it's on Sky Sports so if it doesn't work I've got some 24 hour NOW TV passes laying around so I'll whack one of them on and watch it there. First and probably only TNF game of the season for me
I was nearly tempted to flex-start Bilal Powell for my TTH team but since this is the Bills we are facing I cannot be arsed to start him.
Hell he's probably droppable at this point.
Thank you Bills you just made our defence look like the Patriots D from a few years back.
Muppets. What happened to Kelvin Benjamin? :cab:
FFS, I keep forgetting that America is backwards with time changes.
The Bills defense looks fucking wank so far. They better improve because they're making McCown look good.
Stay on your fucking feet Taylor.
I still haven't really got a clue whats going on in american football really, but I've enjoyed my first season watching properly. Taking advantage of my week off work with my first ever TNF. Go Jets?
The moment I put a few Bills into my fantasy team the whole team turns to shit.
Garcon joining Watson & Luck on IR. Not been a great week for injuries.
The never ending circus of shit continues. Zeke’s back in the game this week.
Can we just fucking end this shambles one way or the other? Everyone looks like a cunt in it at this point.
Saves me a little this week but when the inevitable ban hits he's done for the fantasy season, unless you reach the championship game without him.
That win last night has just put us firmly into an unexpected Wild Card playoff hunt for the AFC.
Hopefully Mahow's lot will put us all out of our misery by taking 6th seed come week 17.
@Dan how are we doing on the Pickems?
We need to put in the OP who people support. I know a couple, but not so sure on others.
Mahow = Ravens
Dan = Saints
Ian = Broncos
Bruh(RIP) = Dolphins
Pleb = Jets, though I was sure this was Chiefs after last seasons draft.
Meant to do pickem yesterday, but my laptop has gone dodgy, so I’ll try to do it on my phone tomorrow.
I’m thinking Hopkins or Fuller for the player prediction this week :D
Justin Tucker
I’m unsure whether my team is the Jags or the Rams purely because both come to the UK often. One of the two though.
Wentz could be an interesting one. He's facing by far the best defence he's seen this season and we just lost 2 key players before the 49ers came to town.
So Alonso got a $9k fine and Judon got double for this:
[gyfcat]healthyinbornboa[/gyfcat]
:cab:
Suh also got nothing for grabbing Mallet by the throat and neither did Hayes who eye poke Austin Howard.
Which I disagreed with.
Fine, they didn't suspend him but do you honestly feel that that tackle (he doesn't even take him down) by Judon is worth double the fine?
Did you see Suh grab Mallet by the throat? Yes he was provoked but push him away ffs.
The eye poke by Hayes? He stuck his finger deep into Howard's helmet to do that and could have caused serious damage.
An intentional poke in the eye should be a very lengthy ban. Maybe even a ban from the league of it's genuinely aggressive. Absolute dickhead move.
Okay, so I've managed to do the week 8 pick'em results, and we had a clear winner this week:
Me - 16pts
@Pleb - 17pts
@Browning - 19pts
@Sir Andy Mahowry - 26pts
Huge win for Mahow, helped by correctly predicting Travis Kelce as the #1 TE, and being far less confident in Doug Baldwin than the rest of us were.
I'll get the week 9 list up shortly.
I'm amazing.
Right, here's the pick'em for week 9:
Game of the Week: Chiefs v Cowboys. Over/under 52.5pts.
Jags v Bengals
Texans v Colts
Saints v Bucs
Panthers v Falcons
Lions v Packers
Redskins v Seahawks
Ravens v Titans
Giants v Rams
Broncos v Eagles
Cardinals v 49ers
Raiders v Dolphins
#1 QB:
#1 RB:
#1 WR:
#1 TE:
#1 DST:
DeAndre Hopkins will score:
You utter bastard.
He will not be jinxed.
Tom Savage is the jinx, not me :D
I think he's the ideal candidate this week, as the variance is so enormous. I could easily imagine him having 5 catches for 40 yards as Savage ruins everything, but at the same time he's so good that he could just as easily have 130 yards & 2 TDs.
Wentz was a good option too, but I'm probably going to avoid QBs for it unless someone particularly interesting comes up. Might try to do a RB next week, as it's all been WRs so far, but I'll have a look at the matchups & see how I feel when it comes around.
You can do 'Zeke next when his suspension gets suspended again.
Game of the Week: Chiefs v Cowboys. Over/under 52.5pts.
Jags v Bengals
Texans v Colts
Saints v Bucs
Panthers v Falcons
Lions v Packers
Redskins v Seahawks
Ravens v Titans
Giants v Rams
Broncos v Eagles
Cardinals v 49ers
Raiders v Dolphins
#1 QB: Breesus
#1 RB: 'Zeke
#1 WR: Mike Evans
#1 TE: Ertz
#1 DST: Sacksonville
DeAndre Hopkins will score: 12 points.
Edit: TE now Kelce please.
Game of the Week: Chiefs v Cowboys. Over/under 52.5pts.
I'll go with the Cowboys. Not really sure why. Over.
Jags v Bengals- Jags, as per every week.
Texans v Colts- Texans will still find a way.
Saints v Bucs- Saints. Brees will carve them up.
Panthers v Falcons- Falcons. The Panthers are really woeful and constantly over rated.
Lions v Packers- Lions. The Pack will still be struggling.
Redskins v Seahawks- Hawks. Thank fuck I benched Cousins for Tyrod where I could.
Ravens v Titans- Titans. Mariota will be back to his best.
Giants v Rams- Rams. No one can stop Gurley.
Broncos v Eagles- Eagles, because the Broncos are terrible on offense.
Cardinals v 49ers- Cardinals but this could easily be a clash of two of the worst teams in the entire league right now.
Raiders v Dolphins- Raiders, I woudn't back the Dolphins over anyone.
#1 QB: Hate to pick the only one already taken.... but Brees.
#1 RB: Why not. Gurley.
#1 WR: Let's double down with Michael Thomas.
#1 TE: Sir Jimmy (Graham not Saville)
#1 DST: Eagles.
DeAndre Hopkins will score: Not a clue. Let's play safe with 8 points, but I'm hoping it's a lot more.
GAME OF THE WEEK:: Chiefs v Cowboys. Over/under 52.5pts. - With Ezeziel Elliot suspended...oh hang on...he isn't suspended...the shitshow continues. Expect that Dak Prescott guy to throw to Elliott because why the fuck not. Any updates on this shitshow then? I thought he was done for the season.
Jags v Bengals - Shit I guess I have to back the Bengals. Extra points for guessing how many sacks the Jags Offence will take this week? My money is on 10...wait I'm feeling generous...how about 5?
Texans v Colts - Well that one was easy. Let's hope DeShawn Watson goes off on one...oh wait his ACL is fucked. I'm still backing the Texans God damn it.
Saints v Bucs - That was easy. Brace yourselves for a garbage matchup. Sorry @Dan :(
Panthers v Falcons - God help you Atlanta, fuck you Cam Newton.
Redskins v Seahawks - All hail Sir Russell Watson.
Ravens v Titans - I would say Ravens defence to boost Mahow's ego but they are playing the Titans for fuck sake.
Giants v Rams - Don't bother turning up Giants.
Broncos v Eagles - Not a good time to be facing such a rampant Eagles team. Hide behind the sofa Bronco fans, this could get messy.
Cardinals v 49ers - Oh boy this one has garbage written all over it. Christ I have to pick one don't I...uh...Cardinals...yeah sure them. They might want to start trading picks...shit the trade deadline has passed. Never mind carry on.
(Sunday Night) Raiders v Dolphins - Another thrilling Sunday Night game on offer here lads, shame the Dolphins are still shite. I expect a blowout #stickingmyneckout #boldstatement
(Monday Night) Lions v Packers - This one is literally a headache. They are both shite mind you. Oh wait this a Monday Night game? Jesus christ...Lions takes it which makes me feel slightly dirty.
#1 QB: Russell Wilson (Tossup between him and Wentz)
#1 RB: Marshawn Lynch (Must be due a big game soon so him)
#1 WR: Paul Richardson (Any of the Seahawks WR's will get targeted by the Wilson so I'm banking on him)
#1 TE: Travis Kelce (Saying him to prove my prediction of the Cowboys game is completely garbage, let's hope Smith uses him a lot)
#1 DST: The Eagles (Clearly)
DeAndre Hopkins will score: 6 points (That was a guess)
Haven't the Jags given up the least sacks in the league?
Game of the Week: Chiefs v Cowboys. Over/under 52.5pts. - Close one, but Dallas will ride Zeke to victory again.
Jags v Bengals - The Jags DEF is just going to decimate a horrible Bengals O-Line here.
Texans v Colts - This is going to be a horrible game, but Houston's DEF is probably the best unit on the field, so I'll give them the edge.
Saints v Bucs - Shootout. Their defence is trash & Doug Martin will run all over us. Winston to do Winston stuff & lose it for them.
Panthers v Falcons - Probably not a great game, but I really like CMC to be the difference here.
Lions v Packers - Just can't bet on the Packers with Hundley yet.
Redskins v Seahawks - Seattle might be the best team in the NFL right now.
Ravens v Titans - Expect a lot of FGs. This will be turgid.
Giants v Rams - Giants won't be able to do anything against the Rams DEF.
Broncos v Eagles - The Denver DEF will keep them in the game, but not enough to overcome their miserable offence.
Cardinals v 49ers - 49ers best chance of a win, this. Shame they have no offence. Fitz & Peterson to carry the load here.
Raiders v Dolphins - Please Derek, only throw to Cooper. Could be a shootout, could be a mess. Probably the latter.
#1 QB: Russell Wilson - Nobody really stands out this week, so go with the in form guy who has to chuck it every play
#1 RB: Zeke - He's Zeke, and I'm against him this week. I'm expecting 50 fantasy points.
#1 WR: Larry Fitz - Again, nobody really stands out, but Fitz destroys the 49ers, so he'll do.
#1 TE: Cameron Brate - Jameis loves him, and he'll probably have a few chances to catch a TD.
#1 DST: Seahawks - Philly is probably the wise choice, but Seattle won't be as bad as last week.
DeAndre Hopkins will score: 9pts - He doesn't have Watson, but he'll probably still get peppered with targets. It's just a question of how many are actually catchable.
Joint 6th on 11 sacks.
Saints O-Line has been the best as Breesus has only been sacked 6 times.
The worst? Easily the Colts with Brissett being sacked (Tolzien might have a few too actually) 33 times.
Also, the Browns have given Joe Thomas some bonuses:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...s-after-injury
Nice of them given how long he was plugging away with abject failure going on all around him.
Well that at least makes me feel better about sticking with the Texans DST this week :D
Hilton will inevitably have a 200 yard, 2 TD game now.
Clowney could have a career day.
Also, Sacksonville are on course to beat the Bears sack record of 72.
Bears averaged 4.5 whilst Sacksonville are currently on 4.7.
Colts, despite being inept are nowhere near the Eagles '86 season where they allowed 104 (6.5 a game ffs) sacks that season.
Any betting tips for tonight's games gents?
I quite like a wee small stakes accumulator to add more zing and pep to red zone.
Look at our Pick'ems for guidance (...or don't :baz:).
I would avoid the Giants and the Bucs at the moment as they both look garbage and are pretty much out of playoff contention.
Chiefs/Cowboys, Lions/Packers, 49ers/Cardinals, Panthers/Falcons, Raiders/Dolphins & Titans/Ravens are all close games to call, so you could probably do okay from them if you pick the right sides.
Colts, Bucs & Bengals are good shouts for upsets too, depending how much of a gamble you want to take.
Went for a saints, Rams, eagles, jags, Titans five fold.
ALso went for a td accy which is never getting close. Zeke, Ingram, Peterson, gurley and the panthers against the spread.
Fournette's a scratch as he broke some team rule. Bengals seem a whole lot more appealing now.
Zach Ertz is also out against Denver, so that's a downgrade for Wentz.
That is not good news for me.
I've changed my TE prediction to Kelce.
Surprised the Jags had the balls to do that.
I'm quite tempted to switch my pick to Cincy, actually. Think I'll stick with the Jags, but it's probably going to come down to a field goal.
I'm pissed off as I have them at -6 in one of my accas.
Also the rich get richer, our defence (that's the rich part, well the pass defence) is getting Maurice Canady back from IR today. He was our starting nickel corner when Tavon Young got injured but got injured in pre-season. He was then replaced by Jaylen Hill who also got injured (but came back last week).
I'm stunned that Lardarius Webb didn't get injured when stepping in for them.
No Campanaro this week (it was only a matter of time until he died) but we do have Maclin, Wallace, Perriman and Moore today which is nice.
Gonna miss the first set of games as I'm off out to celebrate my 30th :moop:
sky game is denver @ philly, or buccaneers at the saints on game pass. thoughts, lads?
Bucs/Saints, for sure.
Apparently Fournette missed some meetings, treatment, workouts and the team photo.
Would think that there was more to it than that though as you'd just bench him for a quarter or something to punish him.
What the fuck is Rob Ryan wearing?
We just let a corner back rush for 20 yards...
Nice to see Brother Eli stinking it up.
The fake punt
Yes lads.
What a fucking punt block from the Saints
Wentz just mugged the Broncos off big time.
Can we please stop passing to Perriman? He's a bust, let's just shun him and then cut him.
Should have never trusted a man with this hairline:
https://b.fssta.com/uploads/applicat....medium.77.png
4 rushes, 2 fumbles? Played Jonathan Stewart.
Brock is back
Just lobbed it right at the fucking defender.
How's the turnovers then Denver?
This is unpleasant.
3rd and 33 and Woods takes a screen 50 odd yards to get a TD, fucking hell.
The refs clearly trying to fuck Mahow over with that bizarre 1st down call earlier.
Perriman has fucking bricks for hands.
Absolute cock.
Force a turnover by punching the rb in the mouth. Genius.
The Giants look horrid.
What a stupid call by the Saints.
That being said, they also need a new offensive line.
Ereck flowers is a hideous tackle. Number 9 overall pick a couple of years ago too I think :moop:
Kamara is fucking brilliant.
My biggest fantasy regret this season.
AJ Green :cab:
Drove past blinn college a few weeks ago too where cam newton went before auburn. It's not in a particularly big place.
Pretty close to A&M too.
Have AJ Green on both teams. Goodnight in both leagues...
The fuck is AJ Green doing there? And why did Ramsey get ejected for being attacked?
Not sure why Ramsey was ejected for getting his arse kicked in.
Fuck off the pitch Winston.
Evans :face:
Team is pressing the implode button.
Ramsey gets ejected for being punched. Evans attacks lattimore and throws several punches, not ejected.
Am I blind, or did that second db not obviously scuff ty Hilton as he was on the ground? The only thing I can think is he was on his way back up, but that's not what it looked like. FFS
He just walked right past him thinking Hilton was down, who played dead really well.
Number 29, Andre Hal definitely touches him (almost like a petulant little kick - does that even count?).
Yep, think it does. Officials must've focused on the guy trying to tackle him. BS
Also, Ingram td for the saints would be nice please.
Julilol.
I came in just in time to see that Julio drop :D
I'm starting him one league, mind.
Hopkins saving himself.
Eagles mugging off the Broncos by putting Foles in, only for him to immediately lose a fumble for a TD :D
Think they're probably still alright though.
So, looks like THE IMMORTAL MARSHON LATTIMORE fisted Mike Evans today
Top tier seethe from Magic Mike too.
Wilson throws a huge bomb to Lockett to the end zone...
Toggle Spoiler
More importantly is Kirk Cousins and Mert alright? :baz:
Blair Walsh is getting cut from another team tomorrow.
Get Koo & Aguayo on the phone.
Younghoe and the family are waiting.
How the fuck does Tyreek Hill score that?
Fucking hell.
Never seen something like that.
Madness.
Ha :D
That's a stupid TD. Great blocking from Robinson taking two guys out for Hill to run in.
That was fucking mental.
Not Reuben Foster again :(
The Kansas City Sack Race might be enough reason to bring back the ban on excessive celebration.
The laterals from the Redskins DBs
I really, really wanted the Redskins to score that.
Please let this end on a Blair Walsh miss.
I remember beating the Vikings a few years ago when Walsh ballsed up a very close attempt with seconds on the clock. Bring back Hauschka.
Fat Rob is disgusting.
14 carries, 18 yards, 2 TDs.
A hero to everyone facing Cousins this week.
He's a poor man's Asiata though. Asiata would have had 4 carries for 0 yards and 3 TDs after losing 3 yards on his opening carry.
Mike Alstott, he was the one of that ilk that I liked.
Winston's out for two games with his injury. Bucs are also going to be without Mike Evans this week, as he's been suspended for blindsiding Lattimore. Meanwhile, AJ Green has somehow not been suspended for trying to kickstart an MMA career on Jalen Ramsey.
Probably because he was actually ejected whereas Evans was allowed to stay in.
Winston should have gotten a fine really. He started that by coming on to the pitch and jabbing his finger at Lattimore's head, you're meant to be injured you nonce.
So, since Watson went down the Texans have signed TJ Yates, Matt McGloin to back up Tom Savage, and now they've let McGloin go to pick up JOSH FUCKING JOHNSON.
No idea why Kap feels like he's been blackballed :D
No one cares, mate, who won the pick'em?
I'll do it tomorrow :D
Dan
Shock horror, Bradford has been placed on IR but Bridgewater is back.
Also, Menelik 'Turnstile' Watson has been placed on IR. Even if they don't replace him (they've signed Kouandijo) it's an upgrade.
There are concerns Bradford could be done for good for this one.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-time-since-14
Dion Jordan, the number 3 pick that the Dolphins took in 2013 is set to make his first appearance since 2014.
He was the defensive Josh Gordon but had done relativwly nothing prior to getting banned.
Speaking of possibly done for good, Martellus Bennett has been released. Apparently he failed to disclose a medical condition or something. He was planning on retiring at the end of the season, so maybe he'll play again, but he might just call it quits a few months early.
More news of people who should retire now. Vontae Davis needs season ending surgery, and has been released by the Colts.
If Antonio Brown has a bad game this week I’ll cry.
Pick'em for Week 9 has a familiar winner...
@Pleb - 14pts
@Browning - 16pts
Me - 18pts
@Sir Andy Mahowry - 19pts
Basically won it by being optimistic about Hopkins, the bastard :panda:
I'll get on this week's once I've had dinner.
I checked myself quickly yesterday.
No one getting any of the number 1 positions right
Kelce & the Jags were the closest. We didn't do very well with WRs - I was closest with Larry Fitz, who I found at about WR35 :D
Pick'em time. Boy, the games this week are pretty not good :D Gonna put the Thursday game in but if we don't all pick I won't count it in the actual scores.
---
Game of the Week: Vikings v Redskins. Over/under 42.5pts.
Seahawks v Cardinals
Lions v Browns
Packers v Bears
Texans v Rams
Saints v Bills
Patriots v Broncos
Giants v 49ers
Dolphins v Panthers
Steelers v Colts
Cowboys v Falcons
Chargers v Jaguars
Jets v Bucs
Bengals v Titans
#1 QB:
#1 RB:
#1 WR:
#1 TE:
#1 DST:
Devonta Freeman will score:
Why must you keep picking my fantasy players? There will be no jinx.
Elliot is back suspended again.
Its not intentional, I promise :D He just seemed like the RB with the most interesting matchup this week, although I did consider Miller & I guess Mixon or Howard might've been options too.
I'll try to not pick one of your guys next week.
:D
It's flip-flopped so many times at this point that it's lost all validity. It's basically the Big Show of disciplinary news stories.
Game of the Week: Vikings v Redskins. Over/under 42.5pts.
Seahawks v Cardinals
Lions v Browns
Packers v Bears
Texans v Rams
Saints v Bills
Patriots v Broncos
Giants v 49ers
Dolphins v Panthers
Steelers v Colts
Cowboys v Falcons
Chargers v Jaguars
Jets v Bucs
Bengals v Titans
#1 QB: Tom Terrific
#1 RB: Bell
#1 WR: Antonio Brown (I wanted to pick someone outlandish like Robby Anderson but the matchup is golden for Lego hair)
#1 TE: Gronk
#1 DST: Rams
Devonta Freeman will score: 14 points.
Picking between the Giants and Niners is like trying to answer would you rather be deaf or blind.
You backing the Jets against Tampa is proper flithy.
Tampa have Ryan Fitzpatrick under centre and no Mike Evans. I'd be having some on the Jets too.
And a muddled backfield too.
I'm doing the same
Game of the Week: Vikings v Redskins. Over/under 42.5pts. This was about the most appealing game I could find without using Dallas again, which sums up how bad the schedule for this week is. Anyways, Minnesota to shut down the Redskins & win something like 24-16.
Seahawks v Cardinals - Wilson v Stanton at QB. Yeah...
Lions v Browns - You know the drill, bet against anyone playing Cleveland. Lions are legit good though, so this could get ugly fast.
Packers v Bears - Please don't make me watch this. Jordan Howard to dominate this one & the Bears DST should make some plays too.
Texans v Rams - This one would've been GotW if Watson was still healthy :( Texans are bad, Rams are good.
Saints v Bills - Gotta stick with my team, but someone's gonna take Lattimore & co. down soon, so don't rule out an upset here
Patriots v Broncos - Broncos can't even rely on their defence to save them. They're fucked.
Giants v 49ers - This could be nearly as depressing to watch as Chicago/GB. Eli to give us false hope again.
Dolphins v Panthers - Carolina are the best shit team in the league.
Steelers v Colts - Who gets stomped more, Indy or the Browns? It might actually be Indy.
Cowboys v Falcons - I don't even care that Zeke's out. He'll probably have three more appeals by Sunday anyway...
Chargers v Jaguars - All the things the Jags do well are all the things the Chargers are weak at. Lots of pick & Fournette TDs here.
Jets v Bucs - Remember when we thought the Jets would go 0-16 & Tampa would walk the NFC South?
Bengals v Titans - AJ Green game, innit?
#1 QB: Matt Stafford - They can't run, but they sure can pass. Did I mention they're playing the Browns?
#1 RB: Fournette - Chargers are garbage against the run, and that's all the Jags do.
#1 WR: Sammy Watkins - Yeah, that's right. I'm fucking crazy, me.
#1 TE: Gronk - Denver are bad against TEs, and he's the best one. That's bad news.
#1 DST: Jacksonville - Gotta go with them at last. They could have a field day with Rivers.
Devonta Freeman will score: 9pts - Coming off injury, splitting with Coleman, playing Dallas who just blanked Kareem. Not a good situation, but maybe he sneaks a goal-line TD. I'll hedge my bets again.
Patriots have claimed Marty B off of waivers :D Guess he'll get another ring before he retires after all.
More news from the circus too - Zeke's next hearing is set for 1st December, so he'll probably end up having served his full suspension before he even gets it ruled on. Utter fucking shambles.
Lads, any good websites to read about the NFL/good podcasts? Especially for someone like me who still isn't really sure what's going on?
I can't be bothered to do the whole lot tonight so I'll just do tonight's game and then do the rest tomorrow or something....
Seahawks.
I'm stunned :D @Pleb needs to get his pick in quickly, even if just for that one game, otherwise it won't get included in the scoring.
@igor_balis Around the NFL is usually an entertaining podcast, and there are places like MMQB online that have good articles & interviews. They also do a few podcasts too, I believe - just downloaded some of the Peter King ones to listen to, as well as a couple of Know Them From Adam. I'd also recommend Brett Kollmann's Film Room stuff on YouTube, as it's easily the best analysis I've seen.
Not sure in terms of good places to get a basic understanding, but the BBC NFL show is probably worth a look. There are plenty of NFL 101 guides out there that explain things like route concepts & formations too.
GAME OF THE WEEK: Vikings v Redskins. Over/under 42.5pts - After the shitfest that was Seahawks-Redskins last week, we can only assume that Kirk Cousins will be on one. That being said Adam Thielen is shit hot and Stefon Diggs is probably going to have the game of his life if he can overcome a visit from the tooth fairy (Yes that's a legitimate questionable tag injury from yours truly Yahoo!). I would go Redskins but my head is saying Viking because why the fuck not.
(Thursday Night) Seahawks v Cardinals - Let this be a lesson Seahawks, you had a bad day last week and your facing an inconsistent Cardinal team with an apparent rampant AP in the lineup...if he turns up. Your in a shit NFC West division and on the verge of making the playoffs as a wildcard entry if you win the division. Do me a favour. Start winning and consistently.
Lions v Browns - Your facing the Browns. Enough said.
Packers v Bears - Well shit Packers, Huntley is throwing wild blind picks. The Bears however are more than likely to run at your defence than passing it probably. Hide behind the sofa.
Texans v Rams - Oh boy I reckon this one will be garbage. Expect fireworks.
Saints v Bills - Dan's lot are on a bit of a roll here. Oh wait there facing the Bills...coin toss...yep still backing Dan's lot.
Giants v 49ers - Garbage. Next.
Steelers v Colts - Another garbage matchup but your facing Big Ben so that softens the blow somewhat. Still...another garbage matchup. Pray for a blowout.
Cowboys v Falcons - Will Ezekiel Elliott be suspended this week? Will Ezekiel Elliot play this week? Will the Falcons hold a solid lead for the first time in a few weeks...or months? Will the Falcons make the Super Bowl only to shit the bed at the fourth quarter? Who will win this tasty matchup? Who knows. Potential game of the week there which will probably mean that the kickers are going to have a bad day in this match. Oh yeah guess I need to pick this game then...uh...Cowboys...sure them.
Chargers v Jaguars - Ouch. Garbage. Next.
Jets v Bucs - The quest for an unexpected AFC wildcard spot continues. I feel proper dirty backing them to be frank but we are playing the Bucs who can't kick for shit according to Hard Knocks.
Bengals v Titans - The Titans are in a bit of a tight spot in their AFC South division so getting a timely win may help them out a bit...a bit. It's basically a shootout between them and the Jags for winning the division isn't it?
(Sunday Night) Patriots v Broncos - This is a Sunday Night game? Jesus Christ expect this to be a blowout.
(Monday Night) Dolphins v Panthers - Will Cam Newton have a decent game of football for once? I highly doubt it but it's always fucking funny to see the Dolphins shit their way to another loss.
#1 QB: Josh McCown - Proper dirty pick this. Someone hold my beer.
#1 RB: Jordon Howard - I don't think the Packers defence will cope with him personally.
#1 WR: Marqise Lee - Insurance policy. Worth a gamble at this point plus he's pretty good in fantasy.
#1 TE: Jimmy Graham - Praying that Thursday Nights will be kind to me.
#1 DST: New York Jets - Yep...feeling proper dirty now.
Devonta Freeman will score: I'm no good at this so...10 points
Buy Madden and just play it. That's how I learnt.
I was going to mention Kollmann. I came across his channel a few weeks ago.
Also +1 for Madden. That's where I got my knowledge too. And that's from a 2 week pickem winner.
Picks and writeups updated.
I like the MMQB (though it just seems to be the front page of Sports Illustrateds NFL now) but don't like their podcasts at all. There's very few NFL podcasts I listen to, though I try catch Mike Williamsons one as I liked him on the old Ross Tucker show and Andrew Brandts new one is decent also. CBS cancelled the one I always downloaded.
Going back to 'Zeke, I would just accept the suspension now.
5-3 right now and he'd miss Falcons (A), Eagles (H), Chargers (H), Redskins (H), Giants (A) and Raiders (A).
Chargers and Giants should be bankers regardless and they should be able to beat the Falcons. I'd say at worst they should be looking at being 8-6 with Seahawks (H) and Eagles (A) to end the season. They're not going to catch the Eagles to win the division so it's all about the wildcard spots which is achievable.
If they keep going he could miss a playoff game or two which would be fucking massive.
With the early schedule they had it was dumb as fuck not to take it in week 1.
I'm surprised the NFLPA are wasting their breath over this.
Inside the huddle is just an extension of the sky coverage so a good podcast if you watch nfl on sky
The Dave damashek podcast is an acquired taste, rarely about the actual football but I find it fun. Most people will really hate it though
I could easily have picked the same as Dan on everything, but chucked in a few differences to make it entertaining:
Game of the Week: Vikings v Redskins. Over/under 42.5pts.
The Vikings have looked good of late and the Redskins have looked poor so got to take the VIKINGS for the win. The over/under is more difficult after the shit fest the Redskins served up last week and with both defenses being good... err.... I'll go under, but I don't like it.
Seahawks v Cardinals - Already picked SEAHAWKS earlier which is bound to win me this contest because no one else would have seen that coming.
Lions v Browns - I wonder who will win this. LIONS maybe? Just a hunch.
Packers v Bears - This one is tougher because neither team can throw the ball and both are alright on defense. Packers look lost without Rodgers though so let's go BEARS.
Texans v Rams - At this point I'm always picking the RAMS.
Saints v Bills - So far I've matched Dan with every pick so let's mix it up. That and the Bills were shite when I needed them in fantasy so they are nailed on to bounce back big here. BILLS.
Patriots v Broncos - The Pats defense is shit.... the Broncos offense is even worse. PATRIOTS to win.
Giants v 49ers - Can't see the Niners digging a win out from anywhere at the moment. GIANTS.
Dolphins v Panthers - I really don't want to pick the Panthers ever. That said... it's the fucking Dolphins. PANTHERS to win.
Steelers v Colts - STEELERS. No doubt.
Cowboys v Falcons- Meh, I'll back them to get it together. FALCONS.
Chargers v Jaguars - Like the Rams, I have to side with my UK teams. JAGUARS.
Jets v Bucs - Potentially the toughest match up on the slate. Fitzmagic is a fantasy God though. BUCS.
Bengals v Titans - Yea... AJ Green is going to be running wild. BENGALS.
#1 QB: I would normally pick Stafford but fuck it, let's be loyal. Jared Goff.
#1 RB: Why change the habit of a lifetime. Shit match up but GURLEY.
#1 WR: No shocker here.... Brown to win it.
#1 TE: Give me Engram in that shit fest.
#1 DST: Sacksonville, as per always.
Devonta Freeman will score: 6 points.
Georgia getting stomped by Auburn here, by the look of it. I'll be interested to rewatch this one, but it sounds like they've been completely outplayed on both sides of the ball. Guess we'll be back to normality with Alabama on top of the CFB rankings then. Looks like Oklahoma State had another shootout too.
In NFL news, Drew Stanton tweaked his knee on Thursday night, so it might be time for the Blaine Train
I can never understand college football.
How the hell do they work the playoffs?
I think they just take the teams with the best records, put their names on bowls of dog food & pick the first three that the dog goes to, then chuck them in with Alabama.
I fall in love with Allie LaForce every weekend. She's just so lovely.
Auburn have some big boys up front which seems to work pretty well against Georgia and their Freshman QB.
Georgia have made some stupid, stupid mistakes though.
This auburn team has a chance against bama in the iron bowl, bama are pretty beat up this year and haven't really been tested yet. Florida state lost their only qb in the first half against them and have basically been a nothing team since.
Nice to see corso was bang on in the Miami game too.
Also, I've no idea how drew stanton has a job in the NFL. Watched the highlights of the game v Seattle and he hasn't seemed to mastered throwing the ball in bounds.
I thought much the same thing watching the Giants/Rams game back. Eli spent most of the game missing receivers by four or five yards. It’s no wonder they’re thinking of taking a look at Davis Webb before the end of the season.
You should have been at Twickenham. Stanton made Flacco and Cutler look like Batman and Superman. Ok maybe not but he did a good job to get in the conversation of worst UK QB against such stiff competition.
He must have a sexual harassment case against Bruce Arians or Steve Keim just sitting there waiting to explode if he ever gets cut. There's no way he's an NFL QB. Arizona can't not take a QB in the first round this year. They've been shit enough that they'll be high enough to have at least a shot at one of the good ones coming up.
Could easily be 3 or 4 first round QBs this year.
Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Josh Browning, Mason Rudolph, Josh Rosen and then the outsiders Grieg, Finley, Mayfield etc.
Josh Allen and Mason Rudolph are pretty stereotypical pros whilst Lamar Jackson is probably loving the effort Deshaun Watson put in at Houston.
Darnold might be the best of the lot if he comes out. Watched a bit of Josh Allen earlier & it's easy to see why people fucking love him even though he's been in an awful team this year - there's a bit of Wentz & Rodgers about him. Rosen's the other one who'll probably go top ten, then Rudolph & Mayfield are 1/2 guys. Not seen much of Lamar Jackson, but he'll probably be around the same as the Oklahoma guys, then the rest will probably be mid-round developmental guys.
Lamar Jackson is akin to a Deshaun Watson - he's carried Louisville a lot since joining them. Distinctly remember seeing him in his very first game, very first throw throwing a hideous ball down the sideline in desperation which was picked off, rather than just throwing it away.
Darnold isn't eligible to come out, he's only a Sophomore, he can only come out next year... which makes it a bit more interesting.
Even some of the middling teams might fancy a QB now... Minnesota if Teddy is gubbed for good, Pittsburg if Big Ben fancies walking away, Cincinnati if they've had enough of Dalton (doubt it) and can use AJ McCarron as leverage, NY Giants, Jets, Browns, Arizona, Washington if they can't sort Cousins, 49ers if they decide Garapollo isn't the man, Bills, Jags, Broncos, Miami...
About half the NFL could be in the market for a new QB.
He's definitely eligible, they've been talking about him as the potential #1 pick for months, it's just a question of whether he'll stay if he doesn't finish strong of if he really wants to not get picked by Cleveland :D
Jackson will probably end up going R1 as everyone needs a QB, but I can't imagine him being the same sort of player that Watson's been. I just think he'll end up being a better Tyrod, which is probably enough to be a long term starter at this point. Will have to watch a few games & see how he shakes out.
The Niners/Giants are probably due a QB.
I would say Jets as well but we'll probably waste our first/second round pick on a random safety or a rookie tight end.
Yep. I'm totally wrong, I was thinking of the 2017 draft. Fuck me, there's a lot of qbs eligible. Might end up being a bit of chicken between them. If they're not being talked about as a top 15 pick you could see one of the big ones opt to bet on themselves the following year.
Difference between being number 1 and number 12 or 13 is about $10million, if you drop out the first round it's a mare. Kalil Mack is a Good example of it going well, Matt Barkley an example of it going terribly. Interesting that the niners now have garapollo because you can bet the two California qb kids fancied they're chances of being 1/2 picks there. Rivers is the same era as Eli and Big Ben though, so if he's not enjoying LA then Rosen/darnold could work there I suppose, if they feel to the chargers.
Cleveland will probably go completely left field and take josh Allen.
Cleveland taking any QB with their first pick would be completely left field. They need to pass on 2 or 3 at least, who go on to become world beaters and then take some guy who can't actually pass.
Then wait for trade deadline day and get an agreement to trade for a new QB in place minutes before it closes, only to forget to submit it due to celebrating the deal.
Gone for a Jags, Lions, Panthers, Rams, Steelers five fold (no upsets please) and a 49ers+2.5, Saints -2.5 and Jets treble.
Hoping Garapollo plays, if he doesn't I'm fucked. CJ Beathard isn't ready to be an NFL QB. Also think the bucs will realise Fitz > Winston for 'win now' but hoping the Jets take it in a close one.
Game Pass is so fucking shit.
What's it doing now? It's an absolute mess this year.
I must admit Game Pass really needs to sort itself out.
I lost feed for the Jets games there for a second.
They could have at least fixed it before they started handing out partial refunds.
I wanted to get it this season (I did get 2 or 3 trials to watch preseason games) but no Amazon Fire or PS4 app made it too shit.
It's working now though
42" Brett Hundley :(
That's a magnificent catch from Harris.
I'd challenge, he was in.
Yeah, that was a brilliant catch.
Stafford off to a great start then.
Dan
Bills are all over the place here.
Fair play to the Bills fans, sort of.
Imagine that in football? You'd never see the player again.
I'm very impressed with the Saints turnaround this year. They have everything on offense and have majorly sorted defensive issues. Only their corners now are a bit iffy.
Lol at the Lions letting Britt score a TD.
Shame on me for forgetting Lattimore then.
grabbing the face mask seems like such a stupid thing to do when it's 15 yards and 1st down. am i being unfair?
If you're certain of conceding a TD then sure, anything to give the D another chance, but in midfield it's moronic.
Corey Grant
It's better when he's not doing it to your team.
Ingram  I'm not against him in TTH this week, am I?
EDIT: Yep, of course I am :D
Nice of Fitz and McCown to exchange picks.
Lol at the Bears challenge.
Out at 5, challenge and it's called a fumble and touchback to give Packers the ball.
Daniel Lasco taken off in an ambulance :(
In lighter news, Vontaze Burfict has been ejected :D
Burfict ejected? I'm stunned.
The steelers need to wake the fuck up.
What did burfict actually do? None of the replays showed him anywhere near any officials.
He was making money signs to the opposing fans whilst walking off too.
He's such a cock.
Dalton lost his second fumble of the game - I fucking hate fantasy football sometimes :D
How did Thielen hold onto that?
Ban leapfrog plz.
Thielen is a beast.
Browns :cab:
It was only ever going to end that way :D
Keenum is such a good backup QB.
The vikings are so likeable too.
Fucking lol at the Steelers.
Pittsburg :moop:
Have the Colts & Steelers defences swapped uniforms?
Kamara
I'm glad we're kicking the shit out of the Bills. it's the only thing that's masking the misery of this week in TTH.
Josh Doctson :D
Jamison Crowder needs to learn how to catch too.
I find it strange seeing the Titans give carries to their corner back Adoree Jackson.
More so that he's actually damn good at running the ball.
Adoree Jackson is just an elite athlete.
He can play both ways in NFL, long jumper and wouldn't be a terrible sprinter either. Just one of those Swiss Army knife kind of players.
That little slut just stole my chat.
I saw that :D
We're so good at running the ball now that Drew Brees just ran around Russell Wilson style for a 7yd TD.
Stealing from female sideline reporters? Classy.
Anyway, Marquise Goodwin is better at Long Jumping than Jackson.
He actually went to the Olympics and reached the final (finished 10th), but Jackson clearly edges the football side of their rivalry.
BROWN QB SWAP TIME!
Admittedly this time it's due to an injury, but Kessler's in either way.
Those 'athletes' never last too long.
Adoree Jackson does look incredibly handy but yeah, they don't usually do that well in the league.
Goodwin for instance qualified for the Olympics at the US trials with a jump that would have beat Rutherford in 2012 and he finished as the join highest in qualifying at the Olympics but his NFL career has been absolute shit.
Good to see Scott Tolzein's in to throw the game away for Indy.
Cousins
Edit: That's coming back for a Cousins TD. FUCK.
That's Hundley's best pass ever and he'll never be able to beat it.
You've now got randomers suiting up for the Saints and rushing for TDs.
If Drew Brees can do it then we can pretty much roll anyone out there.
I know that Fournette has been bottled up today but only giving him 12 carries is criminal.
Bortles wont win you games, Fournette will.
lol at the Chargers.
I bet they give it to Bortles and he throws another pick.
What a miserable onside kick that was in Washington.
Marqise Lee :D
What a fucking mong.
The sun got in his brain, nevermind his eyes.
Bortles :D
Fucking knew it.
Rancid player, well done Marrone for throwing the game away.
Bortles is not getting that 5th year option. He's getting cut and he's going to be a backup somewhere. You just can't trust him.
Okay so the Jaguars have run 41 plays in the second half and counting (not including punts), 3 have been rushes by Fournette the rest were passes/rushes/sacks taken by Bortles.
Bosa is an idiot.
Biggest point deficit they face in the second half was 7 but most of the second half was spent at a tie so it really makes no sense at all.
That was the only way that the Jags were going to win.
Commentator was waiting all game to say that.
Woof in the Jags game.
That flag :D holy shit :roflol:
OH BOUYE! :moop:
I love the Jags making cunts of you all
Tipped slightly but still goes through, woof.
Lambo
Meow.
Baaaaa?
That was missing before the tip too. Great stuff :D
The guy who got the INT for Dallas is called Xavier Woods?
Holy shit the Giants are actually doing something.
Not sure why Jared Goff checked to a play where Cooper Kupp had to block Jadeveon Clowney, but it ended up exactly as you'd expect.
She's not just some slut, you know.
Or at least (possibly) not for people who aren't pro wrestlers.
Goodwin was obviously going to score today after I talked about his long jumping abilities so much earlier.
I could tackle better than the Giants secondary.
There was nothing on that TD.
There's the obligatory TD for whichever TE plays the Giants :D
Goodwin injured too though, but hopefully he'll be back in the game.
Chaz Green is playing on a treadmill that only goes backwards.
Tom Savage is a jammy motherfucker.
EDIT: Nevermind, he's falling apart now.
San Fran
The Giants are total garbage, as is whoever's been trying to block Adrian Clayborn today for the Cowboys.
How are the Giants this bad?
Or are they just better than the Niners at throwing a season?
How many times do I have to tell you to fuck off Matt Breida!
Only one to predict the Niners to win? Swish.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ing-sons-death
Holy shit. I have no idea how he managed to suit up.
I did wonder why he was down in the end zone like that. No way I'd have been able to play hours after that.
That’s awful :( Unbelievable that he still played & it makes the win & his contribution even more memorable.
Would his wife not have needed him more than the 49ers?
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...d-750k-pay-day
Clayborn who has never had more than 7.5 sacks in a season had a $750k bonus for getting 8 in a season. The 6 he got against Chaz Green saw him take home the bonus.
He should send him some of that.
He really doesn't get the credit he deserves, easily a top 10 corner in the league when he's healthy.
So the Bills response to getting thumped by the Saints? Benching Tyrod Taylor.
We knew the higher ups dont like him anyway but still, that loss was all on the defence. They couldn't get the ball back.
I really don't get the Bills backroom.
They're in the hunt for a wildcard spot with Tyrod doing his thing and now they turn it over.
It's no mystery why they've been so shit over the years.
I have Tyrod in two leagues :moop:
I better news, the Blaine Train is officially about to leave the station. It’s probably perching on the edge of a canyon, but I’m still considering picking him up in place of Taylor for the lols in one league.
Can’t be any worse that Stanton, surely?
Week 10 Pick'em wasn't even close...
Me - 9pts
@Sir Andy Mahowry - 12pts
@Browning - 12pts
@Pleb - 17pts :cool:
Won it by nailing Jimmy Graham as the top TE. I decided to exclude Freeman from the scoring given he left almost immediately, and there weren't exactly a lot of points to be scored in that bit.
I'll do week 11 later.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
Losing my win streak :(
I might embarrass myself at it this week.
Stunned that I lost considering I didn't have the Ravens in there to muddy my picks.
I’m taking that as a victory over Mahow as I knew Freeman would do fuck all.
Would have picked Graham too if I wasn’t being lazy on Thursday. Oh well.
Tyrod is benched for Nathan peterman.
Good move from a team pushing for the playoffs.
Add them to the list in the QB hunt.
That's it with a QB though, if they don't think you can get them a Super Bowl, you're not the answer.
I suspect Mr Winston in Tampa Bay might get to that in a year or two time. He's like a regen of Alex smith in that regard for me.
Nah, Koetter's getting the boot at the end of the year & Gruden will come back to coaching just to work with Jameis.
Winston needs something to change anyway. He's a year off dumping.
I agree with Dan.
The Hard Knocks this season made Gruden look so positive and giddy about Winston.
He's obviously got some talent and he's the right personality to lead the team, but he's not backing that up with wins and play.
I think fitz will show him up until he's back.
Id like him to succeed, because he's great to watch from a neutral stand point.
Week 11 Pick'em has a much more interesting slate of games than last week, with several potential GotW candidates, but we've done Dallas a lot, and Washington last week recently, so it's back to the Patriots! That game being in Mexico makes it worth edging the Seattle/Atlanta game out for the spot, I reckon.

Lead them where, exactly?
Fuck her right in the pussy is also a great thing to shout in a College cafeteria.
Real leadership qualities.
Zeke has withdrawn his appeal and will serve the full 6 games.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...helped-me-play
"It was definitely her decision for me to go," Goodwin said Wednesday. "I gave her the option: Did she want me to go to the game or stay at the hospital with her? And she insisted that I go and play with my team and get a victory. So it was very selfless of her to allow me go and do something like that.
"... Her insisting that I go and do something else instead of being by her side at a time when she needed me most, [it] speaks volumes about her character. A lot less about me and more about her. Her resiliency and her willingness to be so selfless and allow me to go and do my job -- words really can't explain."
He also didn't tell any of his teammates until after the game.
I saw that he didn't tell them and it made sense when you saw one or two clearly running up to see why he was celebrating the way he was.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Patriots v Raiders. Over/under 49.5pts. - The AFC conference in general looks garbage. The Patriots have overcome a slump (lolasif) for the first few weeks of the season and the Raiders are in for a decent shout at a shot for a playoff spot which is batshit mental if you ask me. That being said the league is in Mexico City this week so expect the Patriots to lol in the Raiders face while two teams in the AFC South take the last two wildcard spots.
(Thursday Night) Titans v Steelers - Did you hear my speech towards the Patriots Pittsburgh? Your facing the Texans on Thursday night though and I can only assume and hope that Big Ben is pretty good under the primetime lights. Expect fireworks.
Saints v Redskins - Kirk Cousins doesn't like this pick. Saints are on a massive charge. This can only get messy.
Lions v Bears - Garbage.
Jags v Browns - The Jaguars are in a playoff spot? Holy shit. Back to the matchup in hand...uh...Browns, garbage, easy win. No wonder Sackonville are doing so well in such a garbage conference...uh...division.
Bengals v Broncos - This is a fist fight...I mean a coin toss.
Bills v Chargers - Hold the fort Bills, you got an easy win here. Oh your benching your star quarterback huh? This will be messy.
Chiefs v Giants - Someone wake me up when this is over.
Ravens v Packers - Christ sake Packers get yourself a decent team in the draft for the love of my sanity. This maybe the only time I back Mahow and now I feel proper dirty.
Bucs v Dolphins - Joy we got ourselves a Florida derby in town. Shame both teams are complete garbage. Expect this to go into overtime because DRAMA!!!
Rams v Vikings - Uh yeah sure them. This one will probably be garbage.
Cardinals v Texans - Not feeling this one. Expect this to be garbage.
(Sunday Night) Eagles v Cowboys - It's happened, the football gods have spoken. Dallas Cowboys are fucked. Add Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz (if he's fit) in the mix to add insult to injury and you got yourself a matchup. At least the Cowboys have got Ezekiel Elliott back for the playoffs right...right?
(Monday Night) Falcons v Seahawks - Expect fireworks, pick sixes and a team who likes to blow healthy first half leads heading into the fourth quarter. Russell Wilson is in town Atlanta, throw him a party for party sakes.
#1 QB: Tyrod Taylor...wait he's benched...shit...uh...Alex Smith because he's facing the Giants.
#1 RB: Kareem Hunt because he's Kareem and we believe in him.
#1 WR: Doug Baldwin...and now I've jinxed him :moop:
#1 TE: Zach Ertz
#1 DST: Baltimore Ravens because god damn it Mahow you had to pick a great moment to face the Packers didn't you?
LeSean McCoy will score: Uh...5 points.
Doesn't feel right having everyone (thus far) backing the Ravens.
12-3 coming off a Bye though for a LEAGUE BEST and it is fucking Hundley.
Extra players
I’ll be backing the Ravens too, so it’s bound to be a crushing win for the Packers.
Dede Westbrook expects 200 yards receiving on his debut.
Man, my fantasy team hopes you guys are right with your #1 player picks - Brown, Hunt & Carr all in there
Guess I'd better get mine it too...
Game of the Week: Patriots v Raiders. Over/under 49.5pts. - I really wanted to go under, but neither of these teams can defend (Pats have got better though, to be fair). I hope it's a shootout, but I just can't trust the Raiders to come out of this one with a win.
Titans v Steelers - Lots of running here, I feel. Might be quite a few deep throws too. Should be good, but the Steelers will edge it.
Saints v Redskins - I'm waiting for the loss. This could easily be it, but they have no reliable offence & we could win 24-17ish.
Lions v Bears - Probably closer than you'd expect, but the offences are the difference, particularly at QB & WR.
Jags v Browns - Just following the formula...
Bengals v Broncos - This could (will) be an atrocious game, but the Broncos are a mess right now.
Eagles v Cowboys - Great game to watch young, stud QBs, but Philly should take it unless the bye ruined them.
Bills v Chargers - Has anyone considered that this could be Nathan Peterman v Kellen Clemens? Ugh. Bosa to tear them up.
Chiefs v Giants - Gonna take a gamble here. KC have slipped off, and the Giants still have enough to be able to nick it of they show up.
Ravens v Packers - Gotta love the Ravens defence here. That's about all though. Should be GB/Bears all over again.
Bucs v Dolphins - Probably not a good game, but there's shootout potential. Jameis can watch his team eat an L.
Rams v Vikings - Another one I'm taking a swing at - Rams have been great, but the Vikings can give them a game in every phase.
Cardinals v Texans - Gabbert's playing.
Falcons v Seahawks - This might end up being the hardest game to call this week. Wilson magic to make the difference.
#1 QB: Russell Wilson - He's always got a chance it a potential shootout.
#1 RB: Lev Bell - Why not take a punt on a guy who gets 30 touches a game?
#1 WR: DeVante Parker - This isn't quite as bold as Sammy Watkins last week, but it's close.
#1 TE: Jared Cook - Kelce's too easy, and Cook's been playing well lately.
#1 DST: Chargers - Peterman probably won't throw a load of picks, but he probably won't lead many scoring drives either.
LeSean McCoy will score: 11pts - He's still a freak, and he gets peppered with touches. He'll find a way.
Game of the Week: Patriots v Raiders. Over/under 49.5pts.- Patriots, Over
Titans v Steelers- I desperately need this to be a utter shoot out, preferably with no rushing TDs and all passing TDs (though if they go to Bell, even better). Steelers to win.
Saints v Redskins- Saints are on a roll, so I'll pick them.
Lions v Bears- Lions, of course.
Jags v Browns- Jags.
Bengals v Broncos- This one is actually tough because the Broncos look SO bad but the Bengals do too. Broncos to shade it.
Eagles v Cowboys- Eagles, Dak can't stay on his feet.
Bills v Chargers- Chargers, by a long way.
Chiefs v Giants- No contest. Chiefs.
Ravens v Packers- Ravens.... I guess, but I'm not happy about it.
Bucs v Dolphins- With Fitzmagic at QB? The Bucs.
Rams v Vikings- Rams
Cardinals v Texans- Ugh, do we have to? Cardinals....
Falcons v Seahawks- Seahawks.
#1 QB: Tom Brady
#1 RB: TODD GURLEY of course.
#1 WR: Antonio Brown
#1 TE: Travis Kelce
#1 DST: The Jaguars.
Shady will score.... 8 points.
Browning & Limoutsonik have the exact same game picks. Don't think we've had that before. They also have three of the same position picks :sherlock:

I call collusion!
Really? That's fucking weird. Last week I copied Dan's picks into word and edited them and felt like it influenced me too much so this week I made a point of scrolling back to find the blank post to copy. Guy obviously just knows his football.
So the question is do they return for another crack at the Franchise QB in 2018 or 2019?
There are also rumours swirling of Peyton Manning coming in at Cleveland. They own 2 picks in the top 10 R1 of the coming draft currently. They should trade back a little and gain more R1 picks for the future, but should still have 2 top picks with which one will almost certainly be a QB.
Surely Manning will be a better judge of a potential QB.
As what, GM?
Yeah, though Hue Jackson probably wont last to 2018 in any case so expect a new coach too. I don't see Peyton taking up coaching.
Would inject a bit of life there at least.
Genuinely thought that Peyton would be suiting up for one last ride.
@Dan
The Blaine Train is officially leaving the station:

The Browns throwing money at a veteran qb who's well past it would be an idiotic move. They're out of the playoff hunt and it's not a long term solution. Test your team to find out who the guys to keep are and give them experience and re group in the draft / free agency.
OMGugotme.
Not really though.
On a side note, college gameday is in Wisconsin and it's fucking freezing there. Reckon we could be close to some snow games. :youpi:
The fumble that just happened in the Arizona/Mississippi State game :D
Just watched the USC/UCLA game to get a look at Darnold & Rosen. I've seen a little bit of USC before, but I don't think I've watched any UCLA this season, so this is the ideal chance to see them both in action.
For me, despite the loss, Rosen looked like a better QB than Darnold, although USC are working with a bunch of new WRs that don't always help Sam Darnold out, and the UCLA guys made about ten huge gains off short catch & run plays. The USC special teams made a big difference, with a TD & lots of big gains to set them up in good field position.
Rosen has a nice arm & impressive accuracy - almost every throw hit the receiver exactly where you'd want it to, including a few deep balls that were right in stride. Darnold's more athletic, and his arm talent is as good as Rosen's, but he's not as accurate & he gets out the pocket every second play, which more often than not results in him slinging it downfield while running out of bounds under pressure.
As for other guys, Jordan Lasley had a monster game for UCLA, with something like 200 yards & 3TDs, and he looks like a decent WR2 with great acceleration & run after the catch ability, while on the other side of the ball Ronald Jones looks like a stud. He wears 25, and he pulled off a jump cut in the backfield early in the game that was proper Shady material. Quick, can run inside & out, good catcher, he was impressive when I watched USC before & I'd say he's the second or third best RB in the class, depending on what I think of Derrius Guice when I actually watch him properly.
He's probably a stronger runner than Saquon Barkley, which is mad considering Barkley's size & physical strength, and RoJo's almost as good as him in most other areas, but Saquon just has the spark of a superstar, even if it's hard to produce superstar numbers when every team sends four guys out to get you on every play regardless of whether you have the ball or not.
Sterling Shepard likely out due to illness. I’m officially changing my pick in that game - can’t see the Giants pulling off an upset with only Evan Engram to throw to.
I didn't even see that, you picked the Giants to win?
Were you completely hammered at the time?
I didn't even see that, you picked the Giants to win?
Were you completely hammered at the time?
I was taking a gamble based on the Chiefs defence being shit & the Giants still having a decent enough D-Line to shut down Kareem Hunt, but with Shepard out there's only one good receiver for Eli to throw to, and Snacks Harrison might be out too, so they'll have less against the run than anticipated as well.
Considering three people will probably get 5pts for picking Antonio Brown I should really change all my picks to the underdogs, but that's a bit too drastic to work out.
I think it's quite smart. Their defence is young and actually pretty good now(bar at CB). It just gets tired due to the offence constantly going 3 and out, or short drives without scoring. Their problem is the other side of the ball. The QB just isn't getting it done. Their RB corps is okay as are their receivers. Josh Gordon should help the latter part.
As for Manning you could probably name the amount people who have played QB better than him ever, on one hand. He should know quite well who has got it and who hasn't. If he doesn't then they're still in the same situation they are now.

Perriman is going to be a healthy inactive today  Been mooted all week but there was always someone saying 'Oh but it can't happen'.
Completely deserved as he can't catch a damn thing.
I hope this means more for Chris Moore who looks like he could have something about him.
Just because someone is a hall of fame level player doesn't make them a good evaluator of talent - if it did the NFL would be littered with elite ex players at GM or director of player personnel positions, and it isn't. Having said that the second sentence is probably true
An experienced QB maybe, Manning? Nah. If they go down that route snap up someone like Ryan Fitzpatrick / Case Keenum and a young rookie QB in the draft who's got the talent to be elite and let Fitz / Case train him. If he's ready to step in, let him loose.
Not entirely sure what the Browns will go with, but unless that QB is going to be around next year too, it's a waste of time and effort.
It's interesting that they made a play for AJ McCarron. Does it mean they don't fancy any of the guys in the draft, or do they not expect Darnold/Rosen to declare? I find it hard to believe that they actually consider him better than those two guys, although maybe safer due to the ties with Hue. But then if it's all getting blown up again in the offseason does any of it even count for anything?
It's a pretty secure and cheap safety net. Unless the NFL changes its views mccarron still is under contract next year on a cheap salary, so it would've given them 6 months to get him up to speed. In 2018 they would rock with AJ or their chosen QB and at the end of year they can cut him loose if needs be. If AJ showed signs of being the guy, they use the draft choice to trade down and pick up some decent picks and a stud in another position. They could easily trade away the first pick and still pick in the 3-8 range.
Personally, I think the NFL group consensus will effectively tell the Browns where they need to go at QB in the draft.
No Redzone of the early games because of the ATP next gen tennis finals, the fuck?
Edit: Red button despite a million fucking Sky Sports channels these days which means no HD stream. Gay.
Sir Jimmy 'Top 5 CB' Smith
Lattimore looks like he's fucked his ankle there.
Shane Vereen doing his best Brother Eli impression with a pick.
The Giants :harold:
What's happened to Lattimore? :uhoh:
Brees is getting decimated by the Redskins defence which really is lol.
Ankle looked fucked @Dan
Hundley :face:
Hundley :harold:
Cutler's having a great day throwing picks in Miami.
We're doomed. It's all going to fall apart
What the fuck are Green Bay wearing? :D
We let Adoree Jackson, a cornerback, get a 25 yard run in against us a couple of weeks ago.
Doesn't take much to run against us.
Saints D looks like a shambles again with Lattimore gone.
Giants leading is disturbing for my picks.
Ingram
Why did we even bother with AP again?
Steelers throwback is still the worst:
https://cbssports.com/images/blogs/s...rowbacks15.jpg
This drive shows how the Packers run. Two runs, two yards.
EDIT: And that wasn't the worst bit :D
Peanut
What a don he is.
Doesn't get enough snaps too as the backroom staff prefer Correa next to Mosley for some stupid reason.
How long until Randall Cobb's playing RB today?
OJ Howard needs to fuck off fast.
Jordon Howard
Cutler showing his magic.
He needs to fuck off as well.
Jay's gonna get the cigarettes out in a minute.
Flacco trying to make Hundley feel better.
That Ravens/Green Bay game needs a QB of Blaine Gabbert's calibre.
Matt Judon is turning into a fucking animal.
He's come so close so many times on sacks this year so it's nice to see that he has two already today (plus the forced fumble).
Cooper :(
Trying to ice Justin Tucker :harold:
He has ice pumping through his veins.
For a moment I thought Davante Harris had done something good. but it's going to be overturned.
Both these teams should be allowed to just wrap up the season after this week and look forward to 2018.
Fitzpatrick showing Winston how to play QB here.
Fitz will make tampas season look respectable.
Mike Wallace
It's because I didn't play him.
Almost took the old guy's glasses off.
Judon (plus Willie Henry) again
That injury to Cutler must help the Dolphins.
He 'has a concussion' apparently. Had it before the game by the look of his first half showing.
Matt Moore coming in & feeding Jarvis
How do you get that call so wrong seeing those replays?
Blaine Train is ploughing right through Houston.
Get him a starting job again.
We're done here.
T-Sizzle with the (possible) strip sack
Thielen is a baller.
Why did the Chiefs try another non-QB throw? Not only have they seen one fail today, they'd already had one picked off this season :cab:
Kelce isn't a thrower.
They haven't any backup officials?
Jeremy Sprinkle?
Can we pretend I didn't change my pick? Got it pretty much spot on first time.
Our defence is more co-ordinated with a sack dance than our entire offence.
Marlon Humphrey
:D fucking hell Hundley.
Kizer :harold:
This has ended up being a much more competitive set of games than you would've expected beforehand.
Shame Connor Barth bottled it.
Kenny Stills is trying to challenge Antonio Brown this week it seems.
Kamara is fucking bonkers.
Alvin Kamara
If we'd had Lattimore today we'd have won this easily.
Kamara for ROTY?
The Redskins have bottled this. Shame the chiefs are stinking things up too.
It's arguably him or Lattimore, which is mad when you think I'm talking about the NFL ROTY, not just the Saints.
Oh, classic saints defence is back. As you were.
We still can't cover anyone - Crowder just had one all alone which is going to set them up for a game winning FG.
That intentional grounding :D
That's not normal by Lewis.
What a fantastic catch that is from Roger Lewis. Chiefs have fallen apart since they stopped riding Kareem. Coincidence?
Yeah, I'd have Kamara for it (offensive), it looked like Hunt would run away with it but he's been on a massive slump or Fournette but his injury has hampered him.
For the defensive side it's looking like Lattimore, Tre'Davious White or TJ Watt at the moment.
Edit: Or Watson for OROTY until he got broken.
:D 10 point win for Tampa.
Miami LOLphins
Remember when KC were 5-0 & already printing SuperBowl shirts? Now they're 6-4. What a ridiculous collapse. How long before we see Mahomes?
Took 3 pass attempts for Peterman to throw a pick 6.
Played, Bills.
Peterman decision looks great.
RedZone is behind, he got picked again.
2 picks (one returned for a TD) within 5 attempts.
http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/...-imgu-L3yP.gif
Tyrod must be pissing himself on the sidelines.
I hope he throws ten, I've picked the Chargers DST in roughly 60% of the daily leagues I've done this week.
EDIT: Cam Jordan :hail:
Well that's my McCoy prediction already dead.
Just keep giving it to him instead of Pickterson.
Shady's a massive prick, but he sure can play football good.
As can Mark Ingram, but he's a top bloke.
I benched him for Kareem the dream. Dammit.
