I was 5-0 up so brought on Rooney and he scored a 9 minute hattrick (all 3 outside the box) with this at the end.
I might need to use him more.
Carried on with Benedetto tonight and met a guy who did golden goal when I scored. We ended matching 9 of the next 10 games and traded wins off :lol:

Finished up Caputo. Despite making it obvious I only needed an Italian goal and giving the win away, 3 people on the run fought their hardest to stop me getting it even when over 5 goals ahead.
Still, I took him straight into One Nation and got that done too. I might play WL, I might not. I've 1 token left to get now for UCL squad battles but there's a lot of SB objectives I need to tick off so I'll have to try and work them all in.
All being well this is my last weekend before my internet gets a 10x speed bump. That should allow me easier play through the daytime.

Just finishing up the grind on Swaps giving me my 9th token and decided to open to 81+ x25 pack, as I was going to anyway in the future. The game appears to have been spying on me:

He's the one I wanted out of this team because I plan on using him and if he can get +2 he'll be very good indeed. They do seem to come out of these x25 packs very commonly too.

85+ x5 is a bit of a hefty price tag but really you should be able to craft it easily with the 81+ PP's and the 82-88 upgrades.

Not bad but that formation for the 85+ is a right bastard. May put them into El Shaarawy instead.

Not too bad, really. Pereyra becoming an 89 will make it a decent trade - looks a decent card, and I'm only a little annoyed I traded in first owner Donarruma, De Ligt and IF De Paul to get there as I might've had a crack at the Serie A FUT swaps objective with them all.

I was half expecting another What If but I'll take it.
I did a few more 81+ and got WIF Lees-Melou along with more fodder.
Ended up putting it into El Shaarawy and he is now complete. I did have to buy an 85 and an 84, which are through the roof right now, so there was a little cost. But I've ended up doing Jones and El Shaarawy for a combination of about 80k and into the club have also come WIF Yuri, WIF Mbabu and 90 Handanovic.
I'd say taking the weekend of FUT Champs has turned out well. Though I may need someone with squad building skills to actually get me a team out of this.
Also. Do I now take my win and just grab Deco now, or do I hold off and maybe do the 83 x 25 pack to fill the club back up?
Out of non-rare golds now but that was some haul.
I even bought a couple of 25k packs with coins the first time I ran out and got an Oblak.
Also managed to finish off Raphinha.
Ran the rest of the club through the upgrades and got a couple of ok cards, nothing above 85, until I got 86 UCL Varane.
Been running through a few 81+pp this morning and so far all I seem to get is keepers - De Gea, Sczezcesczscsczny and IF Handanovic. Not bad fodder but I'm going to keep going until I get a couple of WIF players.
EDIT: bit more and out comes WIF Berchiche and gold Varane, meaning I can sell my purchased one for 90k back into the club :thbup:
