Chargers are looking another step closer to LA.
Yeah when the fans stop turning up to the games, the nails are being prepared for the coffin.
I didn't realise America's Game for last season had been aired in America. I wonder if Sky will get it (assuming I've not missed it.) Can't find it, stupid internet (I probably just don't know where to look.)
Looks like the Chargers have publicly said they expect to lose the City vote on their stadium funding. They're trying to put the pressure on now by making noises about the LA move again.
I honestly don't get it. It's a no brainer to me. Give them the funds. All they'd need is to host one Superbowl in the next 10 years or so and they'd make it back through that alone.
It's absolute nonsense that NFL teams seem to get stadia paid for by the cities they're in anyway.
Okay so the city or state or whatever argued that they'd put up things like hotel tax so they could cover the revenue but not punish local people or whatever it was they claimed but it's still rubbish.
You're not short of money, lads. Build your own fucking stadium.
It's mad. I'm sure it's $350 million from the City/State and then the NFL themselves would throw another $250 million in.
Surely you can build a state of the art 90k seater stadium complex for that? Look what Football teams do in Europe. The Emptihad cost £110m at the time. Imagine if they'd had 4 times the money.
Fucking hell. Wembley was a massive pisstake but even that at around £800 million, would do a team like the Chargers fine.
Love this note from MMQB, that Adam Vinatieri's debut was in 1996, two months before Clinton was elected.
Warrant out for Josh Gordon in a paternity case. I'd say we can draw a line under that career at this stage.
What a fucking mong.
And it'll cost him millions of dollars as well.
Good. He's a fucking shitbag.
What an absolute fucking mug.
In other news, if 'Jimmy G' can't go on Thursday, they will play Edelman as a QB.
Also, Peterson is out until at least December.
Is the League still hellbent on a London team?
Less talk of it these days. I'd say they're realising it hasn't a chance.
I think they're more trying to push the Jaguars as 'our' team instead.

Not too long to wait.
How many on here are going to games this time round then? I'm going to the Redskins game as my brother-in-law is a fan and I don't care enough about any of the teams involved this time to have a preference.
For what it'd cost me, I'd rather pay the extra and go to one in the US. I never like the idea of it full of a big mixture of all 32 teams fans.
There was a group decision among the work lads that before the last game, if the Rams ended up facing the Giants that we'd go. Obviously I wanted an Eagles loss in that game so the Eagles came over instead but I'm still waiting for them. Going Giants v Rams instead.
I'm a season ticket holder so yea, I'll be at all 3.
I wont be going to any, I'm holding out for either a MEGA game that I can't resist or the Ravens.
If I end up going to LA for Christmas I will be going to the Rams/Cardinals game in week 17 which will either be shit (if they're no playoff ramifications) or fucking amazing. Even if it's a shitter of a game I imagine I'll have a decent time. Especially if the food is as good as the rest of the league.
Corey Coleman has broken his hand. The Browns are the NFL's Arsenal.
I don't understand how you can hate Gordon. He's a beautiful example of humanity, with all it's flaws and wrinkles. 100% talent, 0% fucks.
Peterson might be out all season, so congrats if you won the McKinnon waiver wire race in your fantasy leagues.
The Browns :(
Asiata & Hillman will ruin the McKinnon hype within two weeks.
Thursday Night Football, anyone?
I'm banking on a shit anthem.
In terms of the uniforms, the Patriots win.
Nice run by Brissett, liked that he didn't want to step out and went for the end zone.
Charles James has clearly got his 'play like shit' socks on today.
Pats can barely lose if they try.
The Patriots are just the hands down best run organisation in US sports.
I thought we (Texans) were garbage from what I've seen.
ASJ(Bucs TE) has been arrested on suspicion of a DUI offence and a 'Drivers Licence Violation.'
As a result the Bucs have had enough and cut him.
I think they've been waiting for something like that to get rid of him.
Promised so much when he came in as a rookie but has been woeful.

A third year guy not knowing where to line up in practice is proper mental.
Oh and Brissett has a thumb sprain so the Pats might have to use another new QB (or Edelman) if he or Jimmy G can't recover from their injuries.
They host the Bills next week, so they could probably line up with Belichick at QB and win 27-0 again.
Just a damn shame that Tebow has a job.
Washington and the Giants is the biggest reason for Redzone ever.
McCown is out 2-4 weeks, strain and hairline crack to his non throwing arm. He asked the team to put a harness on it so he could play today, but they said no. Fair play to him.
McCown is a tough dude, you have to give him that. I hope Kessler doesn't get destroyed, but he really has nothing around him even if he does well. At least Gary Barnidge might see twenty targets I guess.
Yeah, I thought Kessler was the next man up. Opportunity for hue jacksons man to prove why he opted for him over Prescott, cook etc.
If Miami weren't hopeless I'd fear for them for another drubbing. They could legit go 0-16 though. Relying on terelle Pryor to be your go to man. :uhoh:
It's alright, Josh Gordon will be back soon to save them (and my fantasy team).
