If you were looking to pick up Mbappe (gold) then now is a good time: he's absolutely cratered 150k once the POTM was announced. I even suspect he'll rebound when people realise the SBC is mega expensive

Yeah. It's ballsy if you're not planning on keeping him around but I've been wanting him for a while so I pulled the trigger and got him at 328k (Xbox). Just checked and he's already back up at 370k
I only just checked out of interest as I saw all versions of his card are top searches on FUTBIN. That's crazy that a leak like that can tank a card 130k or so in a matter of hours.

Yup. I'm hating Tammy in elite division, but it's worth putting up with him to enjoy Mkhi and he's only on about 7 chemistry. He's just as good a striker as he is a CAM.
Managed to work it down to 5 games to go now with some play and some AFK. There are some right freaks at the game in this division.

I am 2 wins from 8 but still 12 away from the 90. At the very least I will win to 4 and AFK the rest.
The main difference is the skill moves. Most can do the odd one or two and it's sometimes helpful. But these guys can get through your defence with a chain of them. I've been absolutely ruined a few times.
TOTY cards also seem to have been generously given out to this lot.
True on the skill moves. Too many ball roll scoops for my liking.
I can do those but my hands can’t keep up with what needs to happen afterwards most times.
My biggest peeve is when they skill move through your player.
Yeah some moved just glitch people through with no real reason.

Went AFK during the game and both guys I faced for my last 2 games immediately left. If I've counted right I've something like 5 x 100k packs, 2 x 50k and 2 x 45k to come tomorrow. No doubt that will get me fuck all, but it's there.
I could add to it with the final birthday tokens, or try to take Ansaldi. I'm really not sure we're going to get 24 if I've counted right. So that cuts off the team 1 player.

Got My Nan as a red which was surrounded by 77s and such so the rating was nice to get. Thought I'd do the packs until I got a decent rated dupe. Still got all of the 100ks to go but did get a Lewangoalski from a 50k.
Got a dupe Cavani now though so will wait to see what horrors await with the Mbappe requirements. I have a sneaky feeling he may require a version of himself submitted to it. It's going to be disgustingly expensive either way.

I opened most of my packs. I was thinking about it and I am going to have all the swaps (Icon and Birthday) for the next promo so decided to get some players in the club. A few walkouts allowed me to finish off Quaresma.
He's quite lovely off the bench, but if you play him wide do watch out because his low defensive workrate means he'll leave you exposed over that side.
I was thinking giving him a try as a super sub but will keep it in mind. He will be likely on for Beckham in front of Hakimi so hopefully not too bad.

I now have to commit to something to put the fodder in. I have close to 600k coins and can maybe at a push knock out an 89 squad. I’m still looking at a 30 day grind for a million coins plus beyond that. I’m not sure it can be done.

They do indeed come back Monday. I want Cafu for my team so I'll only have 7 tokens spare. The 25 x 83+ can be mine along with the 81 x 25 but I can see that being wank.
I can indeed cover off one of the 89 squads. But even with that and my coins I'll need 1.2m ish worth of stuff in 30 days to get him done.
From a club perspective, the last thing I need is a big attacker. My team is crying out for a 2nd CM and some CBs. However, as with Messi last year, this card will likely have negligible difference to his TOTY/S cards and as such be likely the only chance to pick one of those up.
I could legit do Ramos and The Fridge or Prime Desailly, or even look at that Matthaus. But that's pretty much giving up all chance of Mbappers. At a bit of a fork in the road.
Yeah thats a tough one to sit on. What about Ramos and then hold fire for a little and look to do Mbappe in a couple of weeks? Get some obj fodder in etc.
