I'll watch a bit before remembering that it's just another way for the NFL and its media to make money and remember that my book and bed are infinitely better.
As long as we don't end up with Joe fucking Mixon.

I'll watch a bit before remembering that it's just another way for the NFL and its media to make money and remember that my book and bed are infinitely better.
As long as we don't end up with Joe fucking Mixon.
Could be worse:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ape-accusation
Imagine getting both of them though. It would be like a more adult version of the Smash Brothers from the Mighty Ducks.
I'm watching and I want us to take Fournette or especially McCaffery if either are still there.
If they aren't I'd look at taking Mike Williams/Corey Davis, but more likely OJ Howard. Double down on targets for Wentz.
No player has gone mental on the red carpet it seems but Takkarist McKinley's (fucking belter of a name) Dad has decided to make up for it:
Haha, he's fucking loving life there was well.
#lad
As for what I want I'm torn between wanting an o-lineman and the fact that this year appears to be a touch thin on that front if the reports I read are much to go by.
They're probably going to try and trade up above the Ravens to get Cam Robinson.
Apparently the Cheifs wants a top 10 pick to get a QB as if Alex Smith wasn't a decent option for them :baz:
Don't get me wrong, Smith is a decent QB, but they can do better.
Smith is very safe with the ball, but as a consequence you don't really see him make a big play. It works in Kansas because they run the ball first, but adding a more expansive QB would upgrade their offense a lot.
That rundown of the Browns recent first rounders is fucking amazing.
Everyone is a fail apart from the last 2 years because it's still too early to tell.
Edit: 2012 - Trent Richardson (3) and Brandon Weeden (22) lol
2013 - Barkevious Mingo (6). After 4 years was traded to the Patriots for a 5th rounder
2014 - Justin Gilbert (8), after 2 years was traded to the Steelers for a 6th rounder and then cut after the season. 'Johnny Football' (22)
Already we have a trade. Chicago move up one whole place
Apparently they gave up two picks this year & one next year to go up from 3 to 2, which seems incredible if your a 49er.
Holy fuck, the Bears have given up A LOT to move up 1 spot.
A third, a fourth and a third next year is pissing mental.
I think it's Solomon Thomas here.
Mental, the Niners must be pissing themselves.
The Bears
What a fucking shambles of a franchise.
They could have traded down and gotten him.
They must be drunk surely.
What did they just do?!
Err...what? :D
That's a potentially Browns-esque move from Chicago, especially as they just signed Glennon. Surely they could've waited one more pick?
EDIT: Gave up 3rd & 4th this year, plus 3rd next year to move up one spot & take Mitchell Trubisky, who probably would've still been there at 3 anyway.
The only team that are annoyed is the Browns who thought they had a great chance at getting him at 12.
That is one of the most mental picks I've seen. They could have moved down a good few spots and still take him.
Only the Bills and the Browns were realistically in play.
@Pleb I was being rhetorrocal.
He would have easily have fallen to them. Unless they thought in some way San Fran were going to take him. What they gave up tells me that's what they thought.
Jags pick went straight in. They got who they wanted obviously.
That really is one of the best things that John Lynch will ever do at the Niners.
To grab some high valued picks and the player that they wanted to take is brilliant.
I think the Jags will take either Fournette or Jonathan Allen here.
Fournette will more than likely be a top 5 fantasy pick for us if HYPE is to be believed.
Not with that Jags O-line he isn't.
Bastards :(
I'm hoping we follow the script and get Howard. I highly doubt it though.
That's a brutal pick Mahow.
This has been a pretty surprising start to the draft. The Jets must be wanking themselves senseless with all the talent they can choose from. No doubt whoever they pick busts though.
Browns are going heavily after Kirk Cousins as we speak. It's getting mad.
Browns must be manic.
We'll give them Ryan Mallett for their other first rounder.
Browns going in to try to trade for Cousins
The family I have in Cleveland must be losing their minds right now.
Brown's offloading Kirk Cousins via a trade :D
Fucking hell.
Jamal Adams :face:
They either think they'll miss out on Watson, or think he's not all that.
Well, fuck.
That leaves the Ravens with either Reuben Foster (please) or Cam Robinson.
Mike Williams gone now. Offensive options drying up for us guys in the teens.
Mike Williams couldn't give a fuck, he's too busy on his phone :D
I knew that was happening but damn it. OJ Howard please.
Either Howard is going to you @Gray Fox or Mahow the sneaky bastard will nick him.
Well, Christian McCaffrey is going to score a lot of TDs against us in the next decade or so :(
The Bengals had better pick John Ross.
If everyone wants to let Lattimore and/or Allen fall to us that'd be just lovely.
If Allen is at play at 16
One to look out for is the Saints sneaking Kizer later on. Could well be the guy you need to replace Breesus.
KC trade, presumably for DeShaun. it's happening
Kansas City trade up!
DeShawn Watson more than likely is heading to the Chiefs next pick.
Bengal's had no choice but to pick John Ross if I'm honest.
Christ, Kansas better hope that Watson shines.
Bengals, Pleb. And they could have done with Allen or Hooker.
The Browns QB plans lie in tatters if Watson goes now.
Can we just trade our other pick up to 12 so we can take both?
Wait... what?
Okay.
That still leaves the Browns with Watson which helps the Ravens.
Scenes.
I never had Allen being there when we picked. If he is I'm suddenly more happy.
Watson must be seething now.
Holy fuck :D
I can hear the Brown's huge sigh of relief here.
If the Browns trade away #12 it shows what teams really think of Watson.
Probably wise, since we're abysmal at corner. Inevitably he'll end up permanently injured.
Browns could get Garrett AND Allen
If the Browns are stupid they trade down or take Watson here, if they're smart they take Jonathan Allen.
I'm hoping for stupid.
That would be mental for them. You're about to learn a lot about what teams think about Watson with this pick.
Browns trade it. Properly stupid.
They gave it to the Texans :D
Texans to take Watson then
This has gone swimmingly for the Ravens (bar the two best WRs going early).
Cleveland, no
Think we can guess that this might possibly be Watson...
If OJ Howard and Allen are both there and we take someone like Dalvin Cook, I give up.
This is almost similar to our TTH draft.
At this rate, the Browns will own all the picks next year.
They'd still fuck it up though.
Scenes.
Browns must surely think they have a chance on Cousins or another QB out there.
Barnett
Hooker
Allen
Robinson
Foster
Howard.
One of those will be available to the Ravens, fucking christ.
Allen/Foster/Howard.
Anyone else and I'll be a little displeased.
Oh my, this is going well.
That's a pretty cool story.
I hope he does well in the NFL.
Don't let me down Philly.
I really want Allen or Foster with our pick.
Fox taking Barnett is sneaky as fuck.
It was nice of the Eagles team to allow Fox to have a say.
Did someone catch Jonathan Allen giving it the Tunsil Gas Mask treatment or something?
I love me an offensive player is all. Barnett broke Reggie Whites records so I have to be happy with that.
@Dan It's just been team needs talking, not so much a reflection of his ability.
Smart pick from the Colts although I thought they might go Cam Robinson as their line is horseshit.
Allen/Robinson/Foster/Howard.
Allen and Foster would be my top two choices but any of those would be great.
Allen and Forster are rumoured to be hurt hence why they are sliding down the list :sherlock:
I see us taking Howard here.
Ozzie loves his Alabama players AND it's a TE like he was.
Okay, I understand that but I wish it was Foster or Allen.
I can't believe Foster and Allen are still there.
I think it's telling that Ozzie passed on Allen.
He must have had words with the Alabama team and his injury is probably a bad one.
Can't see him sliding too much more though.
Smith - Carr/Humphrey - Young is a pretty good CB team.
Thankfully I didn't stay up to see who the Packers picked.
I imagine the articles are already being drafted about teams shitting the beds and spunking some of their draft future away on a bunch of QBs that nobody was that hot on in the first place.
Kind of feel bad for Barnett. Fan opinion on picking him seems to be that while he's good, the names that were still on the board at the time mean we should never have picked him. I kind of get it, but that's very harsh considering he was ranked the 2nd best edge rusher going in.
We pick at #11 in the 2nd round and I'd like to see us use this pick on Cook. May well be unlikely he's still there though so I wouldn't mind a trade up. Beyond that, filling out at defence is the best bet given the rest of the offence is pretty decent now.
Cam Robinson still on the draft board is Batshit mental.
You should try and pick him up @Gray Fox.
He's not falling to us I'm afraid.
It's the same with Humphrey for the Ravens. Great player but all the fans are wondering why we didn't pick Foster, Howard or Allen.
I personally would have preferred Foster and was hoping we'd trade up like the Niners did to grab him. He and Mosley would have made a fucking fearsome partnership.
I'm still seething that we didn't pick up OJ Howard earlier than projected.
Tampa Bay taking him might be the best thing they have ever done. Their O-line looks stacked.
If you've got any sense, if a team is entertaining the idea of trading you the pick for a couple of mid round picks then they're not seriously taking a 'franchise QB'. I think they must've been more scared the Browns were going to jump them and get back to 2. Mental, as it smashed the draft board... as did some later picks.
Interesting second selection from N'orleans too. We probably could use better O-line play, but given Robinson is still there I don't know why we didn't take him instead.
Missing out on Foster by one pick is a shame too. Could even have taken Cook to be our latest Reggie Bush/Sproles/Spiller back, but I was definitely expecting defense at 32 as well.
Browns could have taken Garrett, Allen & Peppers last night :cab:
The Browns are being pretty 'safe' I think, which is what they need to do when the previous regimes have just thrown swings and hoped for the best. The roster is young and pretty shit so picking up clean, versatile and/or dependable players who have the best chance of playing day 1 isn't a bad strategy.
If Allen did a Clowney and spent a couple of years with niggling injuries it does them no good.
Would love to read how Glennon is feeling today, or see how he reacted to the pick. Welcome to the organisation! This is your replacement we're going to groom.
He's shitting himself, his contract has a getout clause apparently so he could only end up being on a 1 year $2.5m deal.
That's next year I think. He's due something like 18 mill this year guaranteed.
What time does round 2 start?
They need to make it more Euro friendly for THE POTENTIAL ENGLISH FRANCHISE.
I think it's time to declare myself a Jags fan.... two years in a row I've celebrated their picks whilst not giving a fuck about anyone else's. I mean, it only makes sense as I watch them every year.
The Bears obviously feared someone else trading with the Niners, I doubt they expected the Niners to take their guy.
Lynch must have been very convincing.
The only other that would have traded up is the Browns but they'd have had to have given up a fucking mountain to move up from 12th.
Jags at 4 still foolishly believe in Bortles, Titans have Mariota, Jets have McCown who wasn't all that bad at the Browns, Chargers have Rivers, Panthers have Cam, Bengals have Dalton, Chiefs wanted Mahomes and the Saints have Brees.
Lynch played a blinder and conned the Bears into thinking they'd take him.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-gary-barnidge
Barnidge is going to be cut which is pretty damn surprising. Browns have loads of cap space and they're taking a viable weapon away from whoever will be their QB. Plus he could have taught Njokou a lot.
Other teams behind them could still trade up, granted they'd have to give up a lot more, but then again the Bears gave up a ridiculous amount as it was.
Besides, Rivers and Brees aren't going to play forever and I'm not convinced the Chiefs wouldn't have taken him if he was on the board.
I do wonder if they would have taken him if the trade didn't materialise. I can't imagine who else will be their starter at QB. Hopefully Kaepernick
Did anything happen with Cousins yet?
Edit- Oh and McCown :D He'll have one good game then get injured right after I pick him up for Fantasy.
The jets aren't taking a qb. They took a shot last year with hackenberg and he's not even stepped on the field.
We're clearly going defence but then again maybe not: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...day-2-of-draft
"Anybody is better than Brock Osweiler," the former Panthers and Ravens wide receiver espoused on NFL Draft Kickoff. "He sure does (have a winning record). That's why Houston got rid of him. ... They gave him to Goodwill and Goodwill is trying to get rid of him.
"I'm not sold on (Kizer and Webb), but you don't have much going on. ... You've got to do something because if you don't, everybody's going to be unemployed. Somebody's got to throw to somebody."
Steve holding back nothing
Keep that eye out for Kizer to the Saints. Maybe Cardinals.
What time does the picking start tonight?
Just after midnight.
Two rounds and it's 7 minutes per pick for the second round and 5 minutes for the third round.
Who do you want @Gray Fox?
Hopefully Thompson's traded 33.
I want us to sign Barnidge and go after corners in the draft. Sidney Jones or Quincy Wilson for me.
If Cook slides to us he has to be considered. But we need corners urgently.
You're taking the disgraceful Joe Mixon.
@Giggles.
I never know if you mean that good or bad, but it could happen. Thompson won't care about need if there's a player he likes at the pick.
Still rather see it traded for an additional though. Somewhere in the 40's would be fine.
EDIT: Never mind, it's disgusting, not disgraceful you always use. I presume you mean he's shit then.
'Mixon entered an Alford plea to a misdemeanor assault charge in October 2014 for punching a woman named Amelia Molitor in the head, causing broken bones in her face which required hospitalization and surgery. The incident happened on July 25, 2014 at Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe in Norman, on Campus Corner.'
There are videos, she gives him a bit of a slap and he returns with a massive hook to her face.
Any other channels this is on? There's no NFL network on SportsMania any more.
EDIT: Was looking in the wrong place.
Game Pass.
It's free till about roughly mid-June.
https://gamepass.nfl.com/nflgp/secure/packages?ttv=0
Got back from watching Guardians just in time for Day 2
Christ I don't know if I could stick much of Eisen and this coverage.
Solid pick.
We nearly bumped up the order there for a second.
Corner was main need. No idea about the player though.
@Browning mate.
Moving up one spot? :baz:
Cam Robinson here.
Edit: They didn't want the Seahawks to take him, Pleb.
Was wondering if he might be there when we pick next, but not surprised he isn't.
Just like yesterday, the team picking third has traded up to the second pick of the day - Jags move up to the Seahawks' spot, presumably to make sure they get Cam Robinson.
Ridiculous that it takes over 5 minutes from the pick being in to actually announcing it.
Seattle actually make a pick. Well I never.
Cardinals must love whoever they take here.
More than likely it will be Kizer.
This is all trades so far.
I was going to :face: that but that's a safe pick considering we mainly need defensive guys and a QB but we'll get that via trades (probably).
Surprised to see no QB going yet, especially with all the trades.
Cook looks like he could be there for us.
That Samuel seems to be a bit of an 'Offensive weapon' ala Denard Robinson which isn't a great comparison.
Unlucky, Fox.
Randle the fucking wanker.
Vikings just napped Dalvin Cook :|
Fox :(
Means we were planning on taking him too. Still, get that defence improved now and please not Mixon.
Willis or Williams for us when we're on the clock please.
Need a great pass rusher.
Here's the section of military bollocks.
I'm out.
I didn't think they'd take him, bastards :(
God I hate the Eagles.
Fox
A bit of the Fresh Prince though
Risk there obviously with the injury, but Jones is a top 10, round 1 pick otherwise. Getting him in the 2nd round seems a no brainer.
We've got our pick here, only one that I could have seen us take that is now off the board was Cam Robinson.
Pass rusher or MLB please.
Okay, I'm cool with that.
I'll also get a shirt with Bowser on it now
Bengals take Mixon :harold:
He'll get on well with Burfict.
Dirty guy to a dirty team.
Good to hear him boo'd.
Jim Brown
Hero.
Is it me or have the Browns done excellent work in this draft?
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-cam-and-brady
"No one else can do what I can do. And I've truly figured out in this process, if I can maximize all my potential in every aspect of the game -- this is bold -- I do have the ability to be the greatest quarterback to ever play," Kizer said, per USA Today. "Imagine taking (Tom) Brady's intellect and Brady's preparation and putting it on a guy with Cam Newton's body. Why can't I be the greatest? The only thing stopping me from it is me. That's what's driving me now."
I give him 2 years before the Browns pull out.
Willie Brown :D
Fucking hell, Drew Pearson :D
That might be the best pick announcement ever.
As we don't pick until 35th in the 3rd, I'm done. Have to be happy with the 2 picks so far.
Bastards, I was hoping JuJu might slip to us in the third.
http://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com...r-in-nfl-draft
Well played Bryant.
I love that Wormley pick, I saw many tipping him to us in the second and Williams is fucking perfect. Offence tomorrow please.
Based on what very little I know Denver seem to have done alright so far. Like the sound of that pas-rusher, though Bolles sounds like a bit of a religious nutter.
The Texans grabbing the bowling ball at number 90 is fantastic.
Arizona not drafting a QB is a bit surprising.
What a draft we're having, yet again.
One of these days we'll move up to 31st best team.
Round 3 saw us pick up our 2nd corner of the draft in Rasul Douglas. Despite my clamouring for a back, the required thing was defence and we've done well. The Jones pick is a gamble, but is the kind you should be taking.
I was still hoping we might snag Dede Westbrook in the 4th, as he was the last of the recievers I knew anything about.
We've taken Mack Hollins at R4 #12, who I don't know, but the tape says he's fast, 6"4 and 221lbs. He could be the long term fix if Jeffery just uses us for the year. Our R4 #26 pick has gone on RB Donnel Pumphery. He's small and struggles breaking a tackle according to his report. Decent pass catcher but not amazing.
I'd have liked to have seen quantity over quality at the corner position here, but once you get down here it's getting to the point of taking a punt by position.
A guard in the fourth and fifth for us which is awesome.
Need an inside linebacker with our last pick.
One of those was a geezer born in London:
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/u...-a7707926.html
At 6ft 4in and 340lbs, Eluemunor is the proverbial brick shithouse and plays on the offensive line, where he is tasked with protecting quarterbacks from invading pass-rushers aiming for a sack.
Great summary there from the Independent.
And we select a safety.
Correa, McClellan or Onwusor to partner Mosely then I guess.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...er-doug-whaley
Bills have fired their GM, Doug Whaley.
As soon as the draft is over. Naturally.
Who was it did that last year? 'Skins?
Possibly, some stupid time or another anyway.
I would guess they were unhappy with their draft haul, or else that's just stupid.
Think out of the first round of the draft the picks I got bang on were Garrett to the Browns, Adams to the Jets and Watt to Pittsburg.
I also had Thomas to the 49ers at 2, which wasn't wrong per se.
How did everyone else do?
I had a 100% no mock draft success rate.
The #1 pick was more a case of guessing whether the Browns were going to do something so idiotic it would have been out of character even for them.
If McCown stays healthy he'll be a good enough stop gap for a year.
I've also heard that the 2018 'QB class' is much better.
Oh and I've just seen this:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...caleb-brantley
Browns picked up a wonderful man in the fifth.
'Brantley and the alleged victim were engaged in a verbal altercation due to crude comments made by Brantley when the alleged victim pushed Brantley, who allegedly responded by striking the victim in the face, knocking her unconscious and causing dental injuries that displaced a tooth, the report stated.'
And we got a druggie who got arrested for gun possession in the third round.
Wankers for everyone.
At least we've got Takkarist McKinley's dad to take from all this.

Him and Vince Wilfork should make a TV show together, just having a lol in mental outfits.

This (from the MMQB today) made me think of @John.
Quote:
9. I think this is my American Landscape observation about the changing face of the NFL through one prism of the draft: comparing names of players 50 years ago to today. See how the country, and the league, has changed, and see how parents have expanded the horizon in names. These are the first names of players drafted in the second round in 1967 versus the names of players drafted in the second round of 2017:
1967: Bo, Bob, Jim, Bob, Leo, Tom, Willie, Lem, Don, Bob, Rich, Spain, Tom, Ron, Dave, Jim, Bob, John, Rick, Larry, Jim, Bob, Roy, Willie, Jim, John, Dave.
2017: Kevin, Cam, Malik, Budda, Zay, Forrest, Marcus, Curtis, Dalvin, Marcus, Sidney, Gerald, Adam, Quincy, Tyus, Joe, Ryan, Justin, Demarcus, DeShone, Teez, Raekwon, Dalvin, Obi, Zach, Ethan, Tanoh, Chidobe, Josh, Juju, Dion, Taylor.
'67 was a good year for Bob.
The most ridiculous name there is 'Spain' from the 1967 draft.
Redskins drafted a dude by the surname of 'Sprinkle.'
The Bears :D
Mel Kiper was being generous with a C+.
I think with us there are 2 main downsides. The first being our very first pick, it was a great pick but there was some serious talent left on the board (Foster, Howard, Allen etc) which should have been taken instead. The second being the risk on Tim Williams.
The Patriots had about 3 picks. People need to fuck off over rating them.
People are confusing the Patriots pre-draft work with their draft.
Their work in the offseason was A* grading. Their draft was decent but nothing amazing.
The Browns were the stars obviously. They funded all of this work by trading away Carson Wentzs' draft pick to us last year. To take the #1 player on the board, along with Peppers and Njonku just in the first round is some top value. 49ers also raking in a load of picks at the Bears expense was pretty lol. Both they and the Chiefs gave up far too much to get their QBs from a limited QB class. The Texans did it just about right. They already have everything else in place, so grabbing the QB fresh off a championship season at college makes sense.
We've done well coming off this considering we were devoid of a lot after the Wentz trade up last year. Howie Rosemans done very well to wriggle it back to our favour. I feel like we're vastly improved on both sides of the ball now, so we'll see how good Wentz really is this season.
Also special shout out to the Bears on managing to fuck everything up. Not only did they give an arm and a leg for Trubisky. They had invited Mike Glennon, who 2 months ago was told he was the teams starter, to their draft party. So he had to sit around higher management and see his job taken from him. They also didn't inform their own coach in John Fox that they were planning on trading and picking Trubisky until the event started.
Stunning work all around.
Jamaal Charles signs with the Broncos. Leaves Blount as the only major RB available I believe.
I expect Charles to make a good difference for Denver the three quarters he's fit for.
So we have some good news / bad news.
Bad news: A change in Air Force regulations for draft eligibility have robbed us of the astoundingly-named Weston Steelhammer.
Good news: Google him and be devastated by his appearance in comparison to the name.
That really is a dick move to change their rules just before the draft.
I blame Trump.
Yeah, it's a shithouse time to do it. Seemingly most of the players and even teams / scouts / staff were oblivious because the Air Force didn't make much of it.
I'll take B-.
It's interesting to find out that it took so fucking long till after the draft to get an undrafted QB.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-reinstatement
Josh Gordon has been denied a reinstatement.
The Patriots fucking over Blount is no more. He's joined the Eagles on a 1 year deal, for a max of $2.8m
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ms-with-eagles
Ryan Fitzpatrick gone to Tampa presumably for cover to Jameis Winston.
Nice one Jets :moop:
$3million too (base) if reports are to be believed. Almost as odd as EJ Manuel signing for the raiders for $800k.
Cortez Kennedy has died.
Overtime has been cut down to 10 minutes now which is lol really.
Sad about Cortez Kennedy though. The fact that he was found by state police may suggest it could be suicide which is :(
They've also added the ability to bring a second play back from IR and are relaxing celebration rules slightly.
Plus Super Bowl LV has been relocated to Tampa with LA getting the next one.
The celebration one is some common sense at fucking last.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-buffalo-bills
He's got some problems but I'd like the Ravens to take a punt on him, we could use more OL help.
And so it begins.
Tavon Young has torn his ACL, so Marlon Humphrey will have to take over in his position.
Dennis Pitta gone now too.
Maybe the Ravens just shouldn't practice?
Pitta's is his right hip again.
He's probably gone for good.
Jeremy Maclin's been cut from the Chiefs. Seems a bit of an odd one. Guess they're going to lean a bit more on Tyreek Hill.
More chances for Hill to have something horrible happen to him, right?
Pitta has been cut.
His face is so punchable but you just can't argue with the talent.
Ravens have signed Maclin to a 2 year deal.
To be expected.
Wallace, Maclin and Perriman should be pretty good.
Well it will be until one or more of them sees a knee turn to putty.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ivate-cash-cow
Why did the Packers not do this?
$110k for losing a touch over 17 pounds in a few months.
He'll be able to buy a lot of cakes when the season starts though ofc.
Decker has been cut.
Maclin has signed with the Ravens on a two year deal. Expect him to get injured in three weeks time.
Apparently we also went in big to get Maclin back, but the Ravens deal was better.
Interesting to see us still looking at picking up WR talent despite big additions. Decker we should price up too.
For somebody who needs a no-frills endzone / posession guy they should definitely be having a look at Decker.
Jets signing Jordon Todman from the Colts maybe a good move for our quest not to finish 0-17 this season.
No, he was signed to help the 0-17 cause.
Suck for whoever the number 1 QB is starts now.
A wild Kaepernick is somewhere loose in the wild I believe otherwise we're starting with the Home Alone QB instead which is all kinds of lol.
Kaepernick sucks i can't wait until this meme is over
Kaepernick will become the new Tim Tebow.
No team will want to give him a shot due to the press fanfare that comes with him.

Orr on the verge of returning to football after some encouraging news.
He'll be a free agent, Ozzie had better throw a chequebook at him.
It's all a bit shit though.
We didn't offer him a contract (likely would have been a second round tender) because he was retiring but he never filed his paperwork.
Dorial Green Beckham has been cut.
Darren Waller a WR/TE for the Ravens, who was expected to really step up this year has been done for drugs again so will miss the whole season. The mong.
Our TE group is amazing.
Pitta - Old man hips
Gilmore- Coming off surgery
Watson- Coming off surgery
Waller- Suspended
Boyle- Not suspended (But has been suspended twice before).
It was going to be a hard decision regarding who to keep before camp so it's nice of Pitta and Waller to rule themselves out so early.
Besides Seahawks being my main team,i also feel a affection for the Ravens on the basis of that championship run on 2012,Ray Lewis being an absolute monster on the field(let's just exclude what he may or may not allegedly have done off it)and Flacco donning people left and right whenever he is doubted by the whole league. That said, how is this season looking for them?I would imagine with the 3 free agent signings perhaps a play off appearance is in order?Or am i just too optimistic?
lol.
And for any former/current WWE fans, that is indeed Chris Masters.
He actually looks pretty decent there :D
Well apart from the faceplant at the end.
The fuck, I saw DeAngelo Williams as a name on the card and thought it was just somebody by the same name.
So the football vs. NFL debate can FINALLY be solved by pitting DeAngelo Williams against Tim Wiese at next year's Wrestlemania.
Is that the same DeAngelo Williams that tore it up every time Lev Bell went down?
It is.
Peyton's got his post-NFL career sorted.
Donned it.
Durant did not look happy.
Apparently he was in on it.
"Unfortunately my brother Eli can't be here tonight.... because that's what I told the folks at the door."
The better brother.
Kirk Cousins has turned down a contract that would have seen him have the highest fully guaranteed amount for a QB in NFL history. Even $72m for injury.
I know he wants to work with Kyle Shanahan but that's a bit daft to turn that down.
Lev Bell also didn't come to an agreement. Both will be free agents at the end of the coming season, unless something drastically changes.
I don't think I'll ever understand all the stupid tags and getting compensation for players whose contracts have expired and all that shit. How long can they just keep tagging cousins?
Indefinitely really but the more they do it the bigger the cap hit.
$35m for the year if they do it next year.
What if he doesn't want to stay there? Can he just fuck off even if they try and tag him?
You can only tag a player 2 times running I believe. So he's a free agent no matter what the end of this season.
And yes, you still have to agree a contract on a franchise tag. You get the average of the top 5 players in your position, in the league, as a wage, so the team wont hand it out willy nilly.
Josh Norman, one of the top corners in the league, was franchise tagged by his then team the Panthers. They couldn't work it out even so and later took the tag off him. He signed for the Redskins the next day. So no they can't force you into it either.
It's generally a good move for the player though. If I'm Cousins, I've earned $25m just last year through being tagged and will earn more again this year. He's going into next season with the ability to sign for the highest bidder, with $50m or so in his pocket already. His only other option this season was signing a long term deal in Washington, but he makes more money this way and is on a better team.
7th overall pick, Mike Williams, could be out for the season.
Apparently he needs back surgery.
Also, I've pretty much finished the second season of All or Nothing today with one episode left. I was a little concerned due to the Rams being so shit last season and the fact that they were also covered on Hard Knocks but I think it's brilliant. They've done a really good job in putting it all together.
Gregg Williams shows himself off to be an even bigger dickhead than first imagined and I was a little surprised at how emotional the team was about Jeff Fisher getting fired.
More bad news for Mahow. Didn't realise Allen & Taliaferro were still on the team :cab:
Also, this is a pretty ironic thing to happen to a guy called Lucky.
New look NFL site is strange, although it does match the new GamePass.
ffs, although it's not exactly all that serious. He's suspended for the first 4 games anyway, our 5th game is about 11 weeks away so he has time to recover.
'Zo' is probably going to be the teams starting fullback so the injury gives more hope to Allen and Taquan Mizzell (although he had a chance of being our primary returner anyway).
That Whitehead thing is fairly poor on behalf of the Cowboys considering the way they've been protecting Elliot the past while.
Yeah, he's not losing too many actual games, but the loss of practice time might mean he needs a few extra weeks to get up to speed once his suspension is over.
Are the Ravens still pretending Dixon is a thing? Get over it, he's never going to materialise.
:cab:
Did you see him run last season? He will be great barring injuries.
Shame he's just got injured then really.
I saw the complete lack of fantasy points he scored every week, that's all I need.
That said, I could have sworn he's been pissing me off for more than 1 season. Maybe it was Buck Allen. It was probably both.
He was a backup, he wasn't going to be a fantasy demon. He would have been had he not gotten injured in preseason though.
Also, he was running incredibly well with a great average per rush.
I dread to think how many round Terrance West has jumped now :moop:
He is done for the year.
So not a thing.
Fuck.
Second player we've lost for the season already.
Flacco out for 3-6 weeks now.
Nice to see that nothing has changed with our medical team.
Jesus. Whatever your lot & the Chargers do to players needs to be stopped.
We both hired Arsenal physios.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-flacco-injury
:face:
Also, John Urschel (the beastly mathematician) has decided to retire. He had a strong chance to start on our offensive liner this year so he's been pulled by the money in maths or he's scared as hell at having his knee ripped to shreds.
At least Kaepernick would give you a run game.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...gns-another-qb
Signed David Olson of Champions Indoor Football league fame instead of Kap :harold:
Brilliant, he might as well retire now.
Oh and it's not a true day without a Raven injury/retirement.
This time it's Crockett Gilmore with a leg injury.
No word yet on how bad it is though.
Quote:
According to Zrebiec, Gillmore grabbed his knee at first, and limped off the field with the help of trainers. In a post-practice press conference, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that it is too early to know the severity of the injury.
Flacco can breathe a sigh of relief.
http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/r...729-story.html
Gillmore could be out for the season.
As could Maurice Canady who was favoured to start after Tavon Young got injured for the season.
The cuts are going to be easy for us this season, at this rate we wont even have 53 to choose from.
Gillmore has torn his meniscus and will need surgery tomorrow. Same injury as Dixon so could be out for the season depending on how bad the tear is.
We've signed former Giants TE, Larry Donnell.
I like Donnell but he's just as injury prone as all our other players so it's clearly going to end well.
I'd have rather signed Gary Barnidge tbh.
Branden Albert obviously didn't fancy the Jags.
http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/b...728-story.html
How does he still have a job?
Rookie guard Tony Siragusa done for the season today. He was likely going to be our starting left guard.
Also Quincy Adeboyejo (a WR) had to be carted off the field and Perriman injured his right leg.
Plus Gillmore is officially out for the season and Canady is looking likely to be out for that long too.
They should just give up already. They'd have less injuries if they were sword fighting in practice.
Indeed:
Pitta (dead)
Dixon (out for the season)
Gillmore (out for the season)
Young (out for the season)
Canady (likely out for the season)
Flacco (out for a few weeks)
Perriman (injured leg/hamstring)
Siragusa (knee destroyed)
Adeboyejo (carted off might be serious)
Urschel (retired, turned to maths).
I'd say you should just go into TANK MODE, but you have to face the Browns twice a year so there's no way you'd finish with anything better than the fourth pick.
I'm fully expecting a run out at Wembley at this rate.
I reckon I could line up as a nose tackle.
Me and Brandon Williams would stuff the whole thing up.
Chargers Rookie Forrest Lamp has torn his ACL
Will Fuller has broken his collar bone
Sterling Shepherd has a low ankle sprain
Jay Ajayi has a concussion
Dominique Easley has torn his ACL
This makes me feel slightly better about the Ravens losing EVERYONE.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...threeyear-deal
We've signed Austin Howard on a three year deal.
I like the signing a lot.
Edit: Gillmore cut to make way. I hope we get him back though as I still think he could have a future in the league.
Jay Cutler has come out of retirement to join the Dolphins due to Tannehill's injury.
Good signing for them. The retirement was a bit premature and he did really well under Gase before.
That's a whole lot of money for Cutler too. $10 mill apparently.
Matt Moore must be pissed, probably thought it was going to be his chance to play.
He had a chance to play and then we got mollywopped by the Steelers in the playoffs.
Sounds like Siemian and Lynch are exciting precisely nobody in training camp.
Also: "Broncos parody Friends theme song"
What the what?
What an absolute hero.
Also, Boldin has gone to the Bills.
That's been coming for a good couple of weeks now. He'll be a great #1 reciever when Sammy gets injured in the preseason.
Vince
I've been watching some college football highlights for some of this year's rookies lately, and it amazes me how I can be shocked at how bad the defending is every single time I watch CFB, both highlights & when I've watched full games. It's no wonder every offensive player looks like a stud & every game had 85 points.
Watching anyone try to tackle Samajae Perine was particularly hilarious, and as soon as anyone gets into the secondary they've basically scored as only about 3% of them could tackle a dummy by the look of it.
Jets have lost Quincy Enunwa for the season which gives them a better hope of getting the number 1 pick.
Well that sucks. Guess they'll be adopting the same 'run every play' style Doug Marrone wants the Jags to use then.
In other news, Brock Osweiler is starting the Browns' first preseason game, while Trevor Siemian gets the nod for Denver. Oh, and Jarvis Landry is being investigated for domestic battery, although the mother of his kid released a statement saying he'd not done anything so maybe he'll avoid a suspension.
Denver have released the depth chart with Siemian and Lynch as "co-starters"....... but Siemian is.... first.... co-start based on seniority?
Presumably, per my previous post, that means they've both looked deeply uninspiring and Joseph isn't even prepared to give one a proper nod yet. Split starts in pre-season maybe, unless one properly shits the bed.
I just saw that :D
Must've been rejected for the Jay Cutler analyst job.
I'm told it's because he owed the Jags money if he retired, but who knows.
Edit- Literally just saw it's in the article.... guess my source wasn't giving me any insider knowledge. :D
We've got a history of keeping an undrafted rookie each year but we've got 3 who could make the team this year:
Quincy Adebayejo, who was carried off the field the other week but analysts at our practices have said he's the WR that's looked the best
Patrick Ricard, a DT/DE (to add to our production line of them) and could see us trading others with experience as he has apparently looked handy as fuck
Tim White, a WR who has been doing stuff like this all summer:
Quincy looks like a lock, with Ricard not far behind. White has been a little disappointing on special teams which hurts his potential.
Not too bad. I'd say there's only 2 or 3 a week I'd want to see anyway, and that seems punctual enough.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ract-extension
Freeman now the most expensive paid RB (bar Le'Veon and his tag) which is pretty mental.
He's a good running back who can make explosive runs but he's not arguably not even in the top 10.
Helps Bell as it moves the RB contract value higher which increases his potential.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/item/4...1-15f6b7f4b897
lol Australia.
Edit: To make it relevant have some Big Quince:
But what do the NFL have to say about it?
lol at me :face:
Just watched the first episode of Hard Knocks. Decent enough start, with the traditional rookie talent show being the obvious highlight, along with Jameis doing a brief turn as David Attenborough.
Yeah I liked it a lot.
Seems that Jameis is either a pretty good actor or he's grown up a lot since his mental college days as he seems a nice chap now.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...hs-after-trade
And people questioned Ozzie when he let Zuttah go for so little.
We'll probably make a play and get him back for cheaper than he was on too.
https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/20...source=twitter
Jimmy Smith has restructured his contract to free up $5.15m in cap space.
He was super into the rookie talent show too.
Nice to have preseason football back for real so we can start getting properly ready for another Patriots SuperBowl win. A few solid performers in the opener too...
As long as he's got the playbook down DeShaun Watson looks like the better option at QB for the Texans - much more dynamic than Savage, who just looked like a boring backup. D'Onta Foreman was impressive too, and might take a decent number of carries away from Lamar Miller this season, while on the other side Run CMC looked every bit as elusive as he's been talked up to be despite only really playing a basic role.
Kelvin Benjamin looked better in two catches than he did at any point last season, and the Texans DEF looks like it might've taken a downgrade in the secondary, but I suppose they're in the same boat as McCaffrey in that they're hiding most of the good stuff away until the regular season.
Woodrum went 4/4 for 85 yards and 1 TD.
Mallet went 9/18 for 58 yards.
Make the change.
Oh and Tucker is still automatic.
59 yards and still had plenty left.
Eziekel Elliott. 6 game suspension.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...x-games-by-nfl
Woof.
Down to 4 on appeal?
Police don't charge him because she can't get her story straight (or that's what I'm assuming from how they've worded it) but the NFL still see fit to ban him for half a season.
Do they just hate having good players actually on the field?
Sammy Watkins traded to Rams. Jordan Matthews to the Bills in a separate trade too.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...quire-matthews
I can understand the Watkins trade as they weren't happy with him but getting rid of Darby too?
Shareece Wright (who was crap for the Ravens last year), Charles James (who is a nice guy but not a brilliant player) and a rookie as their starters? They're going to be torn apart in the passing game.
Edit: Oh and Gaines.
Edit: By understand I mean they weren't likely to give him a contract in the summer or before but they didn't get much for him.
What a shit day for fantasy. Mostly for the Bills though - seems pretty horrible from them at first glance.
Not as horrible as losing to the Browns though :henn0rz:
I think the trade should help Goff and Watkins but realistically Goff is trash and would look so even with prime Jerry Rice, plus Watkins is injury prone as hell.
I think it helps Jordan Matthews the most really as he should now be a number 1 with the team in terms of targets but he needs to finally do something.
Catching and holding onto the ball would be a start.
Wasn't he already number one?
Oh yeah, I forgot that the Eagles brought him into be their number 1.
He didn't last long in that role and had to be moved to the slot.
If you've been usurped by Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith and are looking at fighting Nelson fucking Agholor for a spot in the slot, you're better off just leaving to be fair.
I still laugh that he's related to Jerry Rice.
The way I see it, the only winners here are the Eagles.
Watkins is worse off since he now as Jared Goff throwing to him, while the Rams are worse off since they just gave up a CB & draft picks for a guy who will probably be injured half the season. The Bills have given up their only good WR & both of their good CBs in one offseason, and only have a couple of bargain bin replacements to make up for them. They do at least have a pile of extra draft picks in the first two days next year though, and Zay Jones might not be crippled as soon as someone blows on his foot.
The Eagles, meanwhile swap a guy who was hardly going to play for a much more talented guy who will start at a position of need, and only lose a third round pick for it. I guess Jordan Matthews wins too, but he'll probably be crap & the Bills will just join the Jets & Jags in the '100% Run' Club. Are we even sure he'll beat out the corpse of Anquan Boldin?
I'm with you.
I've heard a lot of people saying that the Rams have hit a home run with Watkins but it says a lot that the Bills didn't even pick up his fifth year option.
He's brittle as fuck and Goof is horrible.
And we've now lost Tim White (the undrafted gem I've been talking about) for the season as well as our starting LG Alex Lewis \0/.
Talks with Zuttah to bring him back after the Lewis injury.
White apparently injured his thumb in the warm ups for the pre-season game but still played and caught a TD.
Just spotted that Aguayo missed an extra point and a 47 yarder.
Second round pick, lol.
Two early contenders to be cut on Hard Knocks there.
They just cut Aguayo. :D
Our fantasy draft is going to be fucking mental at this rate
:harold:
When you can find ABSOLUTE DONS like Justin Tucker after the draft why would you ever spend more than a 6th round pick on one.
From perfect college kicking career, to pretty much unsignable in just over a year. He's done well.
I can't wait for that episode of Hard Knocks :D
Just watching Saints/Browns. Good to see Osweiler still can't pass & Ginn still can't catch.
Slightly comforting to see we were playing our third string QB before the end of the first quarter, while the Browns had their starters out midway through the second quarter & still looked shit against our backup defence. Browns third team DEF could barely go a snap without being offside, so they're probably all getting cut.
Kizer looked no better than any of the other jobbers he's up against. Browns are still going to be in the market for a QB next year it seems. You can tell how starved Cleveland are of any success as they were going crazy at Kizer chucking a couple of bombs against the third string defence of once of the worse defences in the whole league.
I've just realised that the whole experiment was actually even worse.
They traded up from 11th in the third round to ensure they got him giving up a fourth to make sure they got him.Quote:
Kansas City traded this selection to Tampa Bay in exchange for Tampa Bay's third- and fourth-round selections (74th and 106th)
So they basically wasted a second, third & fourth on Aguayo?! :D
Patriots look pretty safe for the future with Jimmy G. Even their backups look like they can play - Austin Carr & Jacob Hollister both looked good for undrafted rookies, and Brandon Bolden continues to look like the best fifth string RB in the league. Cyrus Jones had a nightmare, mind.
Corey Grant looks to be coming along well enough for TJ Yeldon to have to start worrying about his job, and Fournette did a nice job of smashing through the middle when he got the ball.
---
Ryan Mallett cannot start for the Ravens. He's utter trash. As is Samaje Perine right now, sadly - looks like the camp reports of him being unable to block or hold the ball are accurate. I really can't decide whether Washington has an O-Line that can't run block or five different RBs who can't run the ball - there was pretty much no difference between Kelley, Perine, Thompson, Jones or Brown, although that may be in part down to getting dominated by the Ravens DEF.
I'd read nothing into any preseason performances. Players are at about 30%.
I think my interest in pre-season extends to headlines and very little else.
Pre-season is usually for giving the fringe players a shot in an actual game, with those not impressing getting the boot. Like our fallen hero Aguayo. He was given another chance and he pulled it, wide right.
I'd say the second round pick was wasted too, considering he's now jobless.
You can either look at it as them wasting a second rounder or a third and fourth, not all three.
Their other second-rounder is still with them.
The Bears have claimed him.
Thoughts on nobody taking Kaepernick?
Idiocy, unless he's being prohibitive on price. He'd easily be the best backup in the league.
Interesting to see how Marshawn Lynch pans out now.
I'm with Giggles on Kaepernick. He's not going to get back to his best before people worked him out and I wouldn't expect anybody to take him as a starter but the sole reason he's not been signed is because he's dared to have an opinion just the wrong side of what's considered to be acceptable.
And that this is happening in a league where Michael Vick, say, got to work again is... I dunno what word best captures my feelings, but disgraceful would probably be fair.
Dog fighting? Cool. Batter your wife? No problem! Beat your kids with bits of wood? Sure thing, buddy!
Not indulge in mindless patriotism? Woah there, big guy, that's worrying.
I think he's vastly overrated but at the same time there are backups that are a hell of a lot worse than him.
It's clear that he's been blackballed by the league because of the kneeling which is absolutely mental.
Hell, he'd actually be alright as a backup trying to imitate other running QB's so a defence is able to work it out better.
This pretty much sums it up for me.
He's pretty crap, so he might not have got a job anyway if he's asking for stupid money, but you do get the feeling that it's almost exclusively because he has the insane belief that unarmed minorities shouldn't be shot by police officers. Without that somebody would take a punt on him - there's no way he'd be any worse than guys like Matt Schaub & Kellen Moore, or guys like Trevone Boykin & EJ Manuel if you want to look at guys that are more like him.
I think the bigger issue with him is that at this point you only bring him in if he's a clear upgrade on your starter, and I don't see any places in the league where it's that clear cut.
For sure he's close to several starting qbs, but if it's not cut and dried why take on the salary and the perceived baggage?
The concern is that there is perceived to be baggage at all. Has he ever had a real issue in terns of his professionalism?
A team draft Mixon or Tyreek Hill but Kaepernick is too worrying a prospect for them? C'mon.
But that's exactly my point, Hill and Mixon upgrade their teams at their position, unless Kap is a lock to do that why take him on and deal with the perception.
I completely agree that his national anthem stance should be a non issue, particularly given that other players are expressing themselves the same way and are still playing
I still think he could be better than a fair few starters in the league too. Some of his bad play is his own fault, but he had Chip Kelly which gives him a pass of sorts.
Apparently Jordan Matthews got injured 15 minutes into his first practice with the Bills :harold:
2-3 weeks out.
Ryan Mathews has been cut.
Edit: I've just seen the whole 2010 RB class:
Spiller
Mathews
Jahvid Best
Dexter McCluster
Toby Gerhart
Ben Tate
Montario Hardesty
Joe McKnight
Anthony Dixon
Deji Karim
Jonathan Dwyer
James Starks
Charles Scott
All of them bar Spiller are without a club.
Undrafted RB's that year have fared better. Joique Bell (although he has no club now), Chris Ivory and Blount.
Chris Baker heckling the kickers :D
Got a gamepass trial and just watched our game in 40 (great thing tbh).
Again, Woodrum outperformed Mallet and he looks so much more composed. It looks like he's actually in control of things.
Mallet: 13/22, 113 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT.
Woodrum: 8/10, 110 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT. 3 rushes, 15 yards, 2 TD.
Mallet looks shaky in the pocket whereas Woodrum looks like he belongs. I really hope we keep Woodrum as our number 2 but the staff usually play safe for a backup QB.
Also, Tucker is even fucking recovering fumbles on kick offs too.
And, Maxx Williams could be the real deal if he actually manages to stay healthy. No easy feat with our team.
Edit: Just seen that Folk missed a FG and a PAT. BRING BACK AGUAYO.
I would have no faith in Mallet attempting that.
Condensed games are wonderful. If I'm watching a game sociably then sure, the full wankathon is fine but if it's just me I'd rather just get on with it.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-retires-again
Orr has officially retired again.
Makes sense really and was to be expected. He had a lot of interest and yet there was no deal for months.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...o-twoyear-deal
Zuttah is back in Baltimore.
Money paid out indicates a starter but Jensen has been doing well. I assume Jensen will be kicked to left guard though.
Apparently the Jags have finally cottoned on to Bortles being shit to the point that they view the QB job as now an open competition.
It might have something to do with Allen Robinson being in contract year, as well as big investments in both picks and recruits. But we all know they'll be back in the top 5 picks again next year looking down the barrel at another QB.
New team but same old Aguayo:
That might be the worst miss ever tbh.
It's not the worst miss ever, even if it is a weird, swervey shank of a hit. He'll have done worse himself.
In terms of ease of kick and importance, Blair Walsh is the one that sticks in my mind.
Cundiff was also terrible but I remember him being further out.
Just catching up with some of the week two preseason games. Man, Kasen Williams has played himself onto the Seahawks roster already. Still going to be fifth WR at best, especially since all he's done is catch jump balls, but if he & Paul Richardson can both keep getting better each year they'll have a very nice group of recievers for the future.
Still don't think I've seen LaQuon Treadwell in the preseason though, which doesn't bode very well for his chances of making a big jump up the Vikings depth chart any time soon.
Also, Cooper Rush over Kellen 'The Limp-Armed Lefty' Moore all day. His fumble was spectacular. Stephen Morris looked better than Scott Tolzien too, not that either of them should really be near a starting job, even for one game.
EDIT: Anquan Boldin's retired. All going to shit for Buffalo. From memory I think they have Corey/Philly Brown as their most experienced reciever :D Just had a look & they also have Rod Streater (injured) & Andre Holmes (getting talked up by McDermott). WHAT A BUNCH OF STUDS.
Don't forget newly aquired star WR Jordan Matthews!
Jordan Matthews/Zay Jones/??? does not do a whole lot to make me think Tyrod Taylor's going to ball out this year. Fingers crossed McCoy stays healthy, or else they're going to be one of the worst five teams in the league. They might be anyway, to be honest.
That division is going to even easier for the Patriots to steamroller than usual. They could probably play their defence & offence the wrong way round & still go 3-3.
Tyrod will just run it himself.
Have we ever had a QB rush for 1000 yards? Tyrod might have to get there for the Bills to even get to 6 wins. Then again, he might get pulled for Nathan Peterman before the season ends.
EDIT: You know what, Jared Goff actually looked not shit this week. If Sammy Watkins stays healthy they might even be a bottom ten offence, rather than a bottom five one. Justin Davis needs to be on their roster too, he looks better than Gurley when he's out there, albeit he's against GUYS WHO WILL BE WORKING AT PAPAJOHNS NEXT MONTH rather than actual starting quality NFL players.
Nice to see Lynch managing a few carries without falling apart. The catch from Amari Cooper
Mike Glennon's attempt at tacking Honeybadger might be the most pathetic thing I've ever seen :D
Deonte Thompson's FG return, however, was exquisite.
Catching up with the last couple of week 2 games. Josh Dobbs looks to be actively competing with Kellen Moore for the title of worst backup QB. Landry Jones has to be better, which is a terrifying thought for Steelers fans considering Big Ben is injured every third week.
John Conner looks lively though. First time I've seen him play & he already looks to have a bit of Lev Bell patience in him, which is ironic considering Bell hasn't even been there for him to learn it from. Shame he completely whiffed on a wide open catch with fifty yards of open space in front of him though.
Martavis looks to have come back into his old role, with a couple of run plays (that all failed miserably) & a deep catch (where it looked like he pushed off the CB). Still bodes well for the regular season, assuming he's actually allowed to play.
Edelman is gone for the season.
Is too early to tell that the Seahawks look a bit formidable?Or is it just preseason afterglow? The line doesn't look a complete dumpster fire,Russ is firing in all cylinders and we possibly have Kasen Williams and Chris Carson who both have looked absolute dons so far.Thoughts?
I've got relatively high hopes this year, injuries really disrupted last.
The Browns are 2-0 in pre-season having beaten the Saints and the Giants. Patriots 0-2 losing to the Texans and the Jaguars. Pay no attention to pre-season results/performances.
For the first preseason ever Eddie Lacy doesn't look like Warren Sapp.
For some reason the Jaguars have named Bortles starter for week 1.
It looked like Henne was looking like the starter.
I'd have signed Kaepernick, he's as good if not slightly better than both and would sell more shirts.
For week one, maybe. But when the Texans get three INTS it'll be Chad Henne's time to shine.
Add another one to the list of teams trying to get a QB in the first round of next year's draft - could end up with a quarter of the league fighting it out to try to nab one of the top guys if things fall right.
Edelman is confirmed done for the season.
Can't rule out the possibility he doesn't play in New England again either. Speaking of which, they've just let Kony Ealy go as nobody would trade for him.
Onto week three games now & every time I watch Jacksonville I like Corey Grant more & more. They should really be going with him & Fournette as their main two guys, keeping Ivory to spell Fournette & cutting TJ Yeldon who's just awful. Also, what did Allen Hurns do to get himself buried down the depth chart?
Bortles throwing a pick & an intercepted 2pt try against backups is starter quality for sure.
Apparently Justin Tucker ran down a kick off, attempted a tackle (pushed the guy out of bounds) and is now in concussion protocol.
Last week he's recovering a fumble and trying to run it back, this week he's trying to run down his own kickoffs to ensure we don't give up yards.
Edit: It also seems that I've just started my 3rd free trial of Gamepass this preseason.
Edit: He laughs in the face of a concussion, he's back on the sidelines with his helmet.
Just grabbed Tyrod off waivers and the Ravens smack his head into the floor. Dicks.
Our backup defenders are absolutely dicking on the Bills first team offence (bar Tyrod now).
Again Josh Woodum is showing why he should be our backup QB and the same with Jaylen Hill but as our starting nickel corner.
Just got his second pick of the pre-season.
I'm pretty sure the Bills first team offence is equivalent to an average second string at this point, so putting them up against any of the Ravens defensive units is probably still a mismatch in Baltimore's favour.
Justin Tucker needs to calm down a bit. He's going to want to play linebacker next week.
I'm starting to worry about a McCoy in R1 pick. He's obviously great, but he may have the Todd Gurley problem in which all other teams knew the Rams were going to run it so stack the box. The Bills don't seem to have a lot else.
Yeah, same. They really need to go out & get another WR that can actually be a threat, because Jordan Matthews, Zay Jones, Corey Brown & Andre Holmes are going to do nothing to scare anybody.
Having said that, they didn't really have anything last year either while Sammy was injured, and McCoy still did well. He's also pretty good at turning plays that should be losses into small gains, so he could well still have another elite year in him despite all the odds being stacked against him.
Shady is more elusive which helps and he can actually catch the ball, which Gurley can't do.
Cameron Meridiths knee just bent a way his knee is not supposed to bend.
Be surprised if he plays this season.
Jordan Howard is going to see a fuckton of stacked boxes then.
Chris Johnson had a horrible game last night - two fumbles & a dropped catch inside the first ten minutes of play.
Damn I had high hopes for Howard too.
TIME FOR KEVIN WHITE TO SHINE or get injured again!
White, Victor Cruz, Markus Wheaton & Ruben Randle is pretty close to the Bills unit in terms of sheer depth of nothingness.
EDIT: Having watched pretty much every team's local coverage through these preseason games, I've got to say that the Bucs easily have the best score display, although the constant 'unsheathing sword' sound effect gets annoying after a while.
Browns defence looks to be going the way of the Saints defence & going from horrible to below average this season. Kizer just looks like he wants to throw everything deep though. He's starting week one too, so we'll see how that works out.
Going to be interesting for osweiller when he gets cut. He can probably get a backup gig at another team or can spend the year on holiday. The offset language in his contract means he's getting 16 mill regardless of what happens.alrhough getting beat out by tom savage, deshone kizer and a limp hero in Peyton doesn't shine his resume much.
Stunning.
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.c...preseason-game
Burfict likely out for 5 games.
Seems like it's been a while since a Ravens injury, so have one today:
Albert McClellan is out for the year after tearing his ACL.
He started 11 games last year and was a special teams specialist.
Opens the door for one of two UDFA those (we could be looking at 5 or 6 in our 53 this year).
About time really.
The Bills are continuing their fire sale, sending Reggie Ragland to the Chiefs for a 2019 fourth rounder. Meanwhile, the Jets have claimed Kony Ealy off waivers after he was cut by the Pats.
I also quite liked the news that Lev Bell is reporting to the Steelers just in time for a three day break :D He's going to have almost zero practice with the team before week 1.
In before Lev-Bell goes on a fantasy points spree...
Gone a bit mental and ordered some 'jerseys'.
I wanted Bowser but there wasn't a shirt (customisable player/number) with my size so I ended up ordering a Mosley colour rush shirt, a Brandon Williams home shirt and a black hoodie with Bowser's name on the back.
Also bought a hat so I'll look like a proper fan at Wembley.
Well he is playing the Browns in week one...
Where did you get them from? I keep wanting to get some stuff but (a) it's so expensive, and (b) I don't really know what I'd get. Coming up to my 30th birthday though (:uhoh:), so maybe I'll chuck something on the list this year.
American shop because I'm too fat for the European one :(
Expensive as fuck though.
The American NFL shop is still way superior to the NFL Europe store.
Fansedge used to be great, it still is if you want college football stuff, but it just has the same stock at the US NFL store now.
You can pick up some proper bargains if you keep checking there. Last year after we traded Murray to the Titans, they reduced everything with his name on it. They listed one of the elite jerseys of his (usually $300) for $10. I snapped it up quick. The shipping on it was $25 I believe, so I got it to me for just under £30.
I bought a hideous orange Miller jersey at Wembley. It's the second Broncos Jersey I've had but I only spent about five quid on the first one in total so I didn't begrudge it too much.
Why don't the Cowboys use Brice Butler more? He's always looked like a far better receiver than Terrance Williams, and seems to consistently do well in the Dez role when given a chance, but yet he seems to be permanently stuck with the second string while Williams does nothing but run block pretty well.
EDIT: Browns are apparently trying to trade both Cam Erving & Joe Haden, as well as Brock. I guess none of them should be that surprising, given that Erving has been poor, Haden is on way too much money for his current level, and Osweiler is super-expensive garbage, but it does seem like the Bills, Jets & Browns are actively competing to see who can have the most picks next year.
At this rate they might end up being the only three teams picking in 2018. They'd probably all still botch it, mind.
---
Also talk that Zeke might play week one, even if he loses his appeal today, as he might do a Brady & take it to court.
Matt Stafford, a man whose entire career has been "launch this aimlessly up in the air and hope Megatron can somehow catch it", is now the highest paid player in the NFL.
Fucking hell.
QB money  You forgot 'whip it two yards to Golden Tate' though.
I'm really not looking forward to the point where the season starts & it turns out our defence hasn't improved as much as preseason suggests. I also hope the motherfucker blowing a whistle loudly for the entire Saints/Texans game is never allowed in any sporting event ever. Almost vuvuzela levels of annoying
EDIT: Steelers have traded a 4th rounder for Vance McDonald & a 5th. Maybe that Bruce Miller pick isn't so bad after all...
Zeke taking his appeal to Brady levels would be hell for Fantasy players. He'd be fine to start the season but could have a season ending ban hit him any time.
49ers looked pretty good last night, particularly as the defence seems to be on the way back to being a top unit - Reuben Foster & Eric Reid were smacking Vikings all over the field.
Stefon Diggs, however, was a shambles. Two dropped passes that hit him right in the chest.
The Browns just cut Joe Haden.
:cab:
Not that surprising.
He had a few mediocre seasons and they had been trying to trade him for a couple of seasons.
What is surprising is that no one offered them something, they still have loads of cap space too so could have held on.
I've read that they have an undrafted guy that they really like.
Also read that the cap hit is only 4m this year though which helped their decision. They'd have dicked on their cap space had he not gone this year.
I was going to come in and make a crack about how only teams with shit defences would be interested in him, so I'll be looking forward to seeing him play for the Saints this season. Apparently we are in fact interested :D
In other news, the Chiefs (another team interested in Haden, along with the Steelers) have given Cleveland a 5th round pick for Cam Erving; Cameron Meredith 'only' has a torn ACL & a partially torn MCL, despite which Victor Cruz is still unlikely to make the roster; the Zeke trial is going at least til Thursday as a key witness isn't available, and the Packers have signed Ahmad Brooks.
Best of all though, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League rejected Johnny Manziel after a try-out as he wasn't fit enough, mentally or physically.
Jesus, that was quick.
EDIT: Redskins offence has looked utterly hideous through the first three games. Pryor's drop when he was wide open with half the field in front of him was almost as bad as Diggs' two shockers. Kirk Cousins chasing down Vontaze Burfict after throwing a pick was potential suicide - I wouldn't have been surprised if Burfict had stopped just to be able to destroy him before scoring.
The Lions have shipped Laken Tomlinson (former 1st rounder, c. 28th pick) to the 49ers for a 5th rounder.
Quite a lot of teams giving up on first round picks the last few days.
I wish Hard Knocks didn't end every episode with the players watching Game of Thrones :D
I hate the way the audio goes out of sync every week on fucking Gamepass.
Interestingly, Woodrum only got a couple more snaps that Mallet did.
I so hope that we stick with him rather than the experience as Woodrum flashed a lot of potential at times.
I can see us keeping quite a few undrafted guys this year (Jaylen Hill who might be our starting nickel corner, Patrick Ricard who was signed as a DE/DT but has found a home playing at FB and Bam Bradley who has really done well on special teams and at MLB).
Could even seen 'Smoke' Mizell make the team.
We also have a player (Maurice Canady) who needs to be on the team after the cut deadline and some people are reporting that we'll take a chance on cutting Zuttah before bringing him back.
Oh and Carl Davis has fought hard to be on the team, this pretty much sealed it:
I am trying hard not to be caught up in Mahomes mania, given that it's just pre season and all, but he is looking a bit like the love child of Favre and Rodgers.
I brace myself for the inevitable disappointment :)
Zuttah and Donnell our two biggest cuts so far, both were expected.
Also traded a 7th pick for a tackle.
Seahawks get Sheldon Richardson from the Jets for Jermaine Kearse, a second round pick & a seventh round pick swap.
Jets making one last move to establish themselves as the preseason favourites for the first overall draft pick.
They've been trying to deal him for a couple of years.
Osweiler's apparently being cut, in another not very shocking move.
Snead's been handed a 3 game ban. Not sure why NFL.com hasn't reported it yet.
Substance abuse. Originally 4 but dropped on appeal. Surprising it didn't come out earlier really.
Read a hard knocks spoiler on NFL.com accidentally. Beware reading the "notable cuts" piece.
Couple of interesting moves though. Sammie Coates getting turfed to Cleveland and the panthers waiving / attempting to deal their punters and kickers.
Does it really count as a spoiler if it's reality?
True. I try to avoid the info before the show though so didn't post what it was. Assume others do they same.
Nevermind that, I've just seen the trade the Colts & Patriots made
EDIT: I've also just seen the Hard Knocks spoiler...
Some great college games on tonight. Michigan Florida is on espn right now and Alabama Florida state on after it.
Quality to have it back.
Sadly Woodrum has been cut but we have kept 3 undrafted rookies (Jaylen Hill, Patrick Ricard and Bam Bradley) with the team which is pretty cool.
So we get rid of Sloter who'd looked good in limited time in pre-season (I know, I know), we bring back sodding Osweiler and get rid of TJ Ward on the same day.
The only solace is I can take some amusement from the fact that 18 months after he left we're giving Osweiler about ten percent of what he wanted when he left, by the sounds of it. Also that Elway is so high on Lynch (or high on not being made to look like he picked a duffer) that as soon as he's back Osweiler may well get the boot again.
Just imagine Siemian gets injured in week 1. Just. imagine.
We should re-sign Jake Plummer for a few weeks, just to be safe.
The Snake.
Elway must really know something the rest of us don't...
To be fair, it's a very cheap solution to a problem he had. I think it's smart business in some respects.
He knows the offence, basically will accept next to no salary because he's being paid by Cleveland anyway, isn't going cause much controversy because he's effectively third string and most likely gone when Pax returns and has a point to prove that he can still play.
It would be hilarious though if that's what the Broncos have to revert to.
Nevermind.
Williams has been picked up by the Browns though, as has Mahow's boy Josh Woodrum, so they're definitely making some nice progress.
Around the rest of the league, the Saints have picked up Austin Carr, Indy have taken Matt Jones, Will Tye has swapped NY teams,
Any news on Gano, I have him in one fantasy league and am interested to see if he lands in a good spot.
Seems to still be on the Panthers at the minute.
Bit of college football stuff but...
Deondre Francois (FSU QB) took a brutal looking hit to the knees and could be fucked.
Bama have a freshman RB who's an absolute monster, scary prospect all around (number 22, forget his name). This Bama team doesn't look that great, but they'll still be there or there abouts. They're beatable, FSU basically gifted them 14 points and the game.
Potential number 1 pick overall Wyoming QB Josh Allen isn't going to have it easy this year, Wyoming took a beating from Iowa.
Texas still suck.
Malik Zaire at Florida (QB) is complete shit. If he gets drafted next year god help the team that takes him.
I fucking love football season.
Woodrum :(
No idea why he was cut in favour of Mallet.
'Smoke' Mizell has gone to the Bears too :\
He's better than Buck Allen who we kept.
You've got Alex Collins now instead, as the Seahawks let him go. Bears have waived Langford too.
Got my ticket today for Ravens/Jags
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ssion-protocol
He's still in concussion protocol.
Don't mess with our defence this year, fools.
So who here has Game Pass that can answer something for me?
It says you can get 25% off with the code when you sign up, but it only lets me sign up for a "7 day free trial" and I can't use the code for the trial (obviously) but I'm fairly certain it'll just charge me the full price at the end of the trial. Is there a way I can pay for it now and use the code? I might just be being blind.
I wouldn't bother yet anyway, it's been shite so far. I really regret paying up.
For me it's that or shitty streams of Red Zone as I don't have Sky Sports or anything.
I've tried to cancel the trial, but it seems to still be letting me access it, so I guess that "cancel trial" means "Don't renew" and hopefully I get the option to put the code in when I purchase.
Some games have been scrambled, some have been the wrong game. Most of the shows like Hard Knocks go badly out of audio sync the longer the show goes on, and the compressed 40 minute games sometimes take days to appear.
Just make sure you give it a good try out during the trial and see if it's worth paying for.
Fair enough, thanks for the heads up. As long as I can get Red Zone at a reasonable quality it'll be worth the £63 or whatever it is with the discount. I'm kind of sick of watching it every week through streams that die every so often and are shit quality and even when they aren't, they're typically behind so my fantasy leagues tell me stuff that's going to happen before I see it.
I've only tried the trial (3 times) but it really annoyed me.
No PS4 app and nothing on Amazon Fire which was seriously weak.
Supposedly there is a PS4 app if you put in a US address, so I may look into that.
Needs an Android TV app too. Fuck casting.
That's shit then.
I mean I'd likely watch it on my Laptop anyway, but I would like the option to watch it on there.
Just announced that Miami v Tampa won't be played in Miami because of a hurricane. No word yet on whether it moves venue this Sunday or gets postponed until later in the season.
I've not had any real issues with GamePass, save for not being able to go to a specific play by selecting it from a list like you could last year.
The Xbox app works fine - used it on my 360 & now on my One.
Do you have any idea how I sign up? I'll probably wait until I see how it works on Sunday anyway, but the only option I see is to start a trial and when I click that it fails because I'm already in a trial. Will that change when my trial ends? I would have paid £85 but if there's a 25% off offer I'm not going to miss out on it by letting it renew at full price (which I assume it would as it never let me input the code).
Not sure, to be honest - auto-renewed mine from last year. When does your trial run out? Seems odd that there isn't a way to upgrade to the paid version early.
In a week, I guess. I only just did it. I pressed cancel (don't really care about the trial) but it hasn't cancelled so I'm assuming it just won't renew. I'm going to be pissed if it runs out and then I have no option to sign up.
Edit- I tried to contact them to confirm and it just took me to a blank page when I hit submit and I've received no automated email to say they got it. This is going so well. It's like they don't want my money.
EZE is getting his six game suspension but can play this Sunday.
What's he even suspended for? Seems an odd one in that from what I can tell he's been suspended for something that he wasn't convicted for (i.e. charges dropped). How the hell does that work?
While that's shite and probably turns 2 wins into 2 losses for me in fantasy this week.
I seem to have Game Pass to work though. As soon as my trial officially cancelled I was able to add another one and the code worked, so if I let it renew it'll be £63. Not too bad.
Our depth chart for the first week has thrown up a couple of interesting things.
Boyle is listed as the number 1 TE with Maxx Williams as number 3, which should be switched really. Might be like that as Boyle could be our starting fullback (along with defensive tackle Patrick Ricard) and we play 2 TE sets so Maxx will be a starter anyway.
Correa, who was favoured all along, has won the starting MLB position despite looking shaky during the pre-season.
Jaylen Hill, who was amazing in the preseason, is seemingly behind everyone at the CB spot but I think he will take over the starting nickel position soon enough as Webb is shit.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ed-for-week-11
Week 11 for Dolphins/Bucs so no bye for them.
Nothing like playing in London then playing the week right after yayyy
Latest Hard Knocks has made me like Mike Evans even more. Such a good, likeable chap.
If he wasn't recognised he'd probably be on death row by now.
Season kicks off tonight with Chiefs @ Patriots.
Got it set to record, but can't see anything but a Patriots win. Pats, minus Edelman should still be pretty solid at Gillette. Thoughts?
Patriots gonna win 31-14
I don't like the language he's used in that statement - it's very emotive & designed to sway people to his side, rather than to portray the incident in fair, balanced way.
Having said that, I can completely believe that it happened as described, and I'm on his side in the whole thing.
Yeah, Pats will win easily in the end, but hopefully it'll be close for the first few quarters. I'm tempted to watch it live, but I'm already in for a 16 hour day with work & cinema, so I don't fancy adding a whole night with hardly any sleep on top of that. Might try to sneak in a nap shortly or something.
As long as Amendola starts and gets the ball a lot then I'm all over the Pats.
Browns have cut Calvin Pryor for fighting with a teammate and CJ Spiller has been cut by the Chiefs.
Marky Mark
That's pretty lol seeing Kareem Hunt fumbling on his very first pro carry.
Dammit now I have to watch the highlights before work today.....although the injury to Berry is a bummer
I was going to lol at the Pats but I'm more worried about the Chiefs being in our division if that score is anything to go by.
Big Andy's Arrowhead Express rollin' again.
Patriots looked a bit stale but i think it's just how they threw the team together. Cooks is going to have a field day once he develops a rapport with TB12.
The chiefs were a good team last year so it's not that much of a shocker.
Anyone bet on American football regularly? College football seems to be a bunch of mis matches with low odds on the money line that tend to come in as predicted a large proportion of the time.
Although, I quite fancy Stanford to upset USC this weekend but have "played safe" and taken the standford +6 route.
He did indeed, fair play to the lad.
He picked himself up well from it.
Not a bad debut, that.
Chiefs problem last year was they ran out of steam. I believe all their points against the Steelers were from Boswells boot.
Berry is done for the season which wont help their cause.
Only for people like Foe.
Well, that was a pretty good way to start the season - Chiefs spent half the game actively trying to lose too.
Alex Smith throwing the ball downfield :cab: Also threw about fifty shovel passes to Hill, Kelce & Hunt, mind.
I was sort of thinking the same watching it back. One of those you don't know how they won by such a scoreline. Their offense is infuriatingly conservative to watch at times.
I don't even really know what the Patriots did wrong, other than give up two big pass plays & loads of rushing yards.
Actually, nevermind.
I knew you lot would hate it. :henn0rz:
Also watched the last Hard Knocks episode. The McNichols saga was quite odd to watch.
He's here, but he's not signing...
I'm really over looking for gammy streams these days, so when does it normally appear on Gamepass?
Elliott has got off.
So, I've found a handful of row 500 tickets for the Saints/Dolphins game online for about £100. Buy or don't buy? Anyone going to that game?
I'm also trying to resist temptation to drop £200 on NFL merch :uhoh:
I've caved & bought them. Tickets had a nice fuck you fee not included, so that was lovely, but I got a 15% off voucher for the merch, so that covered the extra costs of the ticket.
This week has quite probably been the most expensive week of my life
What march did you buy?
I'm trying to justify about $400 on a signed jersey. That's before customs and the cost of framing. :uhoh:
Pristine Auction seems to pop up whenever someone talks about signed stuff lately, you tried looking at them?
A couple of the guys from work have managed to bag free tickets to the Jags v Ravens game through the Sky VIP app. Jealous is not the word...
Michael Thomas jersey, Brees colour rush jersey, Saints bobble hat & colour rush scarf. Bloody order sat for 15mins processing though, so I'm not sure if it's gone through or not. Have emailed them so hopefully I'll hear back fairly promptly.
Pristine Auction comes up a lot on some of the football podcasts I listen to. They sound like they'd be way cheaper for signed merch, but I've never actually looked at the prices to confirm that.
Pristine Auction website is an abomination. Fuck that.
You're a saints fan then.
That would seem likely, yes.
I've got an early quad of Cardinals -2.5/Steelers -8.5/Ravens + 3/Falcons -6 and a late double of Colts +4.5/Panthers -4.5.
Also gone in big on the Panthers -4.5 as a single and a little bit on Maxx Williams to score a TD for the Ravens today.
Ha I was just looking to see what bets you were going to put on.
I've gone Ravens + 3, Denver, Minnesota, Carolina, Detroit +2.5.
I actually think both the Ravens and Detroit will win, but I've taken the spread anyway. I suspect AP will score against Minnesota tonight though and Minnesota were average against the rush last year so that's where they could be undone. Snead is suspended though and New Orleans traded away Cooks so Minnesota should just load the box.
Saints/Vikings is tomorrow night.
I'm hopeful that we'll keep it close tomorrow, although I'm not sure how we're going to stop Dalvin Cook & Stefon Diggs - hopefully the new linebacking corps & Marshon Lattimore will be able to give us a nice boost. Michael Thomas will probably see Xavier Rhodes most of the game, but he's got enough about him to still be able to have a good game, particularly if he works inside more, and Ted Ginn can run past anyone, so he'll probably get at least one chance to drop a long TD.
Being optimistic, I'll say we win 20-17, but it's a pretty tough game to call & I could easily see Minnesota putting 30 on us if the defence doesn't hold up.
I think we'll win too but I wanted a bit of room.
Jimmy Smith is fit and he is usually able to lock down AJ Green and out defence as a whole looks seriously good.
Offence is a bit more of a mystery though, Flacco has been struggling with his back and our offensive line is muddled due to injuries.
FFS. Well done Foe.
Also chucked a double of Peterson/McCaffrey TD.
San Francisco were shocking against the run last year and McCaffrey is just a freak of an athlete, so every expectation he's going to tear them apart. AP just because.
Quite interested to see how the Browns play this year. So fucking happy the season is back.
College football is pretty boss too. Watched Oklahoma v Ohio State this morning - Ohio looks pretty average and it's a shame the California QBs are about otherwise Baker might have a legit chance at the Heismann.
I've also got £5 on McCaffrey to be the first Panther to score a TD and £5 on him to score 2 or more.
Completely forgot about the weapon that is David Johnson at Arizona. Fuck.
Titans opening with a failed onside kick :D
That was brilliant by Wentz.
San Fancisco have improved their run defence just by drafting Reuben Foster, who already looks like a stud. They've put a lot of high picks into the defence in the last few years, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're a lot better this year.
Proper quality, Big Ben type stuff, that was
Woodhead injured, by the look of it.
Fantastic block by Delanie Walker to let Mariota stroll in.
Can't even go a quarter without an injury.
Already listed as doubtful so he's done for the day at least.
That counts as an Agholor fumble, right?
EDIT: Allen Robinson ruled out too. All going wrong for @Browning.
Detroit doing everything in their power to fuck things up.
The Texans also struggling is concerning.
Brownings hate/hate relationship of Robinson continues.
Ryan Shazier blowing up Kizer as he slides :D
Cardinals have 29 yards of offence, and 10 points.
Mother fucking CJ Mosley
2 picks and a sack already for our defence.
Seems that they've all graduated from Suggs's Ball So Hard University.
How the fuck did Michael Crabtree catch that? :cab:
EDIT: Ronald Darby fucked his ankle off the ball - looks like he'll be out a while.
Already two out in less than a half.
http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/...-imgu-L3yP.gif
Maybe Dalton will be able to stop throwing picks now.
Maclin
Maclin
That was a really nicely designed play.
Dalton :harold:
Our defence is going to be fucking incredible this year.
Well it will until 90% of it gets injured.
JJ Watt injured - apparently a dislocated finger.
EDIT: Crowell has 13 carries for 19 yards. That revamped Browns line coming up big so far,
Tom Savage and his O-Line are going to be having nightmares about Calais Campbell for a long time.
Edit: The whole Jaguars defensive front line actually.
This is almost worse than Harvey.
That thud of the field goal hitting the post was so satisfying.
The Houston offensive line will not be getting a pat on the back at HT. Savage doesn't stand a chance if he has the entire defensive front of Florida chasing him straight after each and every snap. Number 71 in particular seems to be getting whooped, whoever the fuck that is.
Xavier Sua'Filo - pretty sure he was like a 2nd rounder too.
Duane Brown must be at home mentally spending all the extra cash he's going to get.
He timed his hold out well.
T-Sizzle with the strip sack
Oh my word.
Get AJ McCarron in now.
Speaking of QB changes, DeShaun Watson is in already :cab:
Made no difference whatsoever :D
EDIT: Nevermind, Watson's saved by a penalty. David Johnson's been very quiet today.
Ravens currently on a 12 play drive where all 12 have been runs. And they immediately throw a pass after I post about it.
What a drop by JJ Nelson.
That was Ted Ginn-esque.
TJ Watt's started his NFL career pretty well. Gotta love Kerwynn Williams & Mike Tolbert scoring rushing TDs while DJ & Shady stand on the sideline injured.
Seth Roberts must have one of the highest Receiving TD:Catch ratios in the league over the last couple of seasons.
Commentator in the Texans/Jags game just made a comment about the patience of Bill O'Brien, possibly not realising he was talking about a guy who just pulled his starting QB in the season opener for the second time.
Then Watson turned the ball over.
That hurdle
https://i.imgur.com/ZUucmBf.png
Arizona 2 up
Steelers 11 up
Ravens 20 up
Falcons 3 up.
I need a point from Arizona and 4 from the Falcons, 'Mon lads.
Don't listen to him. 'Mon the lions.
Antonio brown is so good. Just so, so good.
Him and Julio in their prime at the same time is great. Just need AJ Green to get some better play from Dalton and the bengals.
Bears might actually upset the Falcons here :yn:
I should never have spoken.
Everyone bar the Ravens and Falcons (who look shaky) have had a TD scored against them.
Andy. Come on.
Jordan Howard's eye surgery hasn't improved his ability to catch.
Another pick for us, this time Jimmy Smith.
Just give us the Super Bowl.
Dalton's lucky Bill O'Brien isn't his coach.
Da Bears :( Would've been really handy if they could've pinched that one.
That looks like Cousins passed that ball and it was batted down.
Edit: :cab: That looked clear.
That's clearly an incomplete pass. But that's a nice W to start with.
La Rams clearly have a big support in LA. Nice and empty collesium.
I was debating to go on the Browns favour in the handicap but never in favour of the Lions so it was always going to lose :(
What an ugly throw.
I had forgotten just how shit Tolzien is.
Rodgers throwing a pick six is practically unheard of. ONE in his whole career before that one.
EDIT: And it's still one, thanks to a penalty that's got Jeremy Lane ejected.
What bastards, you don't take a pick 6 off the board for a rookie DL in his debut.
Equally shocking is Frank Gore just broke a run for SIXTEEN whole yards. Think he did that twice all last season.
Hilton :harold:
Jeremy Lane must have incriminating photos of the top brass to still be persevered with.
That punch that Jeremy Lane threw looked brutal. Oh no, wait, he didn't throw a punch at all.
EDIT: This Rams/Colts game might throw up the worst QB play of any game other than me v Browning in the TTH league,
I'm really sad the 49ers took Reuben Foster in front of us. He already looks like a potential elite linebacker. And now he's injured. Good job, me.
Horton Hits a Hoyer
That is what I want from a commentator, stunning.
Seahawks are having a good time with the Green Bay O-Line so far.
As are the Rams with every part of the Colts. Cooper Kupp
Very nice pick from Jaquiski Tartt to make up for blasting Olsen earlier.
How do you miss that pass?
Dickson was miles open.
M&S do a lovely Jaquiski Tartt.
Thanks John :D
So much for this Seahawks/Packers game being a shootout.
Two pick sixes for Tolzien. Is he worse than Dalton yet?
EDIT: Seahawks line looks every bit the mess it was last season. Doesn't bode well for Wilson, Baldwin & Graham having the seasons I'd anticipated.
Tolzien was obviously bad enough for the Colts to see what Jake Brisket can do.
They might need to get someone to replace Vinatieri as well.
They still bottled Gurley up too.
19 carries 40 yards. ELITE.
What I really like about Rodgers is his ability to know when he has a free play (via offsides) and then just lob the ball out as far as he can to try and get something more.
There really isn't a better QB to watch go about it than Rodgers.
One commentator just suggested that Dan Bailey might be the best kicker in the league.
He should be fired for blasphemy.
Fears that Robinson has torn his ACL.
He's in contract year too, so may well end up staying with the Jags but for less money than he'd hope.
Very lucky win for the Packers. They were septic.
That catch from Beasley was a thing of beauty.
Eli, meanwhile, looked trash behind a line that's also really, really bad. That offence is 100% garbage without OBJ.
David Johnson is heading to IR and missing at least 8 weeks, seemingly.
 for not having any shares in him in fantasy.
Glad I didn't draft him #1 overall in any leagues (that matter). Hopefully someone mad will drop him & I'll be able to pick him up.]
Saints game in 10mins  Can't wait to see us suck.
EDIT: This MNF theme song is as awful as all the Carrie Underwood ones.
Decent first drive. Shame it didn't get to the endzone, but the backs all started well, and the line looked alright, aside from a few penalties. Now to hope the defence isn't as bad as usual...
That's a typical Saints DEF penalty from Marcus Williams twatting Diggs about five yards out of bounds :moop: That one on the other rookie Anzalone (and his beautiful hair) was bullshit though. Overall a pretty encouraging start, assuming we can avoid the penalties. A whole new set of linebackers looks to have improved the run defence, although we might still be there for the taking through the air.
If Anzalone grows a moustache he's the blonde Yanni.
I hope they don't keep showing this fuckboy with the purple suit & viking horns every time they want a crowd shot.
Offence hasn't been up to much so far really, which is concerning. Maybe trying to spread it around too much, and a bit too run heavy.
EDIT: Sweet, we could be without both our starting tackles inside the first half of our season opener. Just call us the Ravens.
Good to see Will Lutz, former Justin Tucker protégé, doing well.
Fingers crossed he ends up as good as Tucker. No doubt if he does we'll have cut him beforehand though.
That was a fucking brilliant drive by Bradford.
That was awful :D
Three plays to go 74 yards & it was all way too easy. At least I have Diggs & Bradford in a fantasy league, I guess.
Adam Thielen justifying why I kept drafting him
Still can't spell his name though :)
I'm not enjoying having to see adverts for the same stamps & recruitment sites that advertise on a load of fantasy podcasts.
Fixed.
Diggs
Can we stop running Alvin Kamara up the middle already?
Didn't realise we'd re-signed Adam Bighill
How is Drew Brees still a thing in fantasy?
Our playcalling has been shit. Give up on trying to showcase Alvin Kamara & just start trying to pass the ball more than two yards downfield.
That punt from Morstead
Well, I think we can officially say our pass defence is still utterly shit :D
Thielen running wild here.
How did he hold onto that?
Not entirely sure how he held onto his head, nevermind the ball.
Great work from our defence as two guys run into each other to stop either one of them catching a simple pick.
That's picked if Klein doesn't get involved.
Diggs is brilliant.
He is, but I think it's helped by us being bad still. Last team he shredded was Green Bay, and they were also a shitty pass defence last season.
Toyota are using John Cena's entrance music to advertise the Camry :D
I missed that hurdle on Sunday, it's brilliant.
https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/N6xE...d_kicker.0.gif
Kicker did duck but that's some leap. Didn't even have to kick anyone in the face.
Absolutely roasting them.
Who would have thought that the Saints would have more success throwing the ball than trying to run up the middle?
You mean to tell me that Drew Brees is good at throwing the ball?
Yeah, but only if he's throwing to a running back.
We need to spend all our top three round draft picks on the secondary & O-Line over the next 2-3 years. Well, except maybe one on a QB next year...
We've given up seven 20+ yard passing plays today :cab: I think they've probably all been at De'Vante Harris too.
I reckon that I might be able to catch a ball going against De'Vante Harris.
Will Lutz & Thomas Morstead the only ones who are going to come out of this game looking good for the Saints :uhoh:
Hey Dan, I'll race you for that number one draft pick next season.
Even Treadwell is getting a catch against Harris.
Even LaQuon Treadwell is catching against Harris now :D
EDIT: Snap.
Brady next week? If Harris is still on the team then it's going to be one almighty fisting.
Before the game I had us 9-7 for the season. Now? 6-10 probably.
Well that Denver result needn't have been quite so hairy as that. Not comfortable with the number of big plays we gave up over the top but there was some stuff I liked about the defence. In the first half Gotsis looked quite lively and I thought Shaq Barrett did well to make the most of the attention the Chargers were paying Miller on the other side. Siemian's footwork was a bit jumpy so while that led to some decent rushes he was desperate to get out of the pocket even when there didn't look to be a huge amount of pressure sometimes.
Quite liked what I heard of Beth Mowins in the condensed game as well.
She was good, Rex Ryan was pointless.
There's a woman commentator on MNF? Fuck that.
Was that who it was? Didn't even recognise the voice. He got about three sentences in during the condensed version.
She was genuinely good and as Mahow says, far better than some of the mainstays.
I couldn't stand her voice to be honest. Didn't know if it was a bloke or a woman until reading this.
John Ross :harold:
Although last week Kareem Hunt picked himself up quite amazingly after his fumble with his first carry.
Edit: Christ, Geno just blasted the shit out of Watson. No idea how he didn't fumble.
Yeah, the Bengals are garbage. So happy Brown dropped to me in our fantasy league as otherwise my choice was between Beckham & Green, who have both failed to be any use whatsoever so far.
Also, let's not get too hyped about Watson because of his TD run. He still doesn't look ready as a passer. He's just lucky Dalton looked even worse - he's been spraying passes all over the place so far, mostly about four yards away from his receiver.
He was never going to be ready, but he's definitely the way to go from here on.
I didn't get the story on NFL.com (it was a headline which I didn't click) about him starring in his debut. He looked fairly shit bar the TD run.
He was basically RG3-lite.
He would have one read, if it wasn't there he either try to force it (he had a lot of passes which should have been picked) or he'd tuck and run.
Bengals have fired their OC.
Not that surprising. They looked completely inert against the Texans.
The Texans must be pretty pissed, they've never really had Watt, Clowney and Cushing fit and playing together. JJ gets fit and Cush decides he wants to pop a bunch of pills. Smart move Brian.
It's probably a blessing in disguise though.
Cushing has been trash for two or three years now and it allows their rookie, Zach Cunningham, to get a lot more snaps.
Remembered that I can watch ESPN through BT Sport so I've been watching some college football today.
Caught the end of the UCLA game, which looked like a typical college pointfest. Josh Rosen didn't look all that impressive, but it's hard to judge someone off less than a full quarter of a game. Now watching Florida/Tennessee & Florida have a lad called Kadarius Toney who looks like a livewire. He'd probably be Tavon Austin in the big leagues though. However, this play from Justin Martin is absolutely incredible. One of the best bits of defensive play you'll see, college or NFL.
That save is absolutely incredible.
That's the best TD saving play I've seen since D-Jax was denied by D-Jax.
The play to end the game was pretty crazy too.
I was just about to go to sleep but Clemson v Louisville is on at 1. Might have to record it for future viewing.
Christ, I hope that kid does well.
That's the sort of shit you love to see.
College game day On a Saturday at 2pm - 5pm is usually great. I watched all of the ucla game and Rosen is an odd one. At times looks like he'd be great but he through two picks that both a "what the fuck are you doing" moment you'd get run out of the NFL for.
1. Late, across his body into the middle of the field while scrambling
2. As he's on his way down being sacked trying to "throw the ball away" down towards his wideout being covered on the sideline.
Based on what I've seen he won't go ahead of Sam darnold at USC because I think they're going to go well this year. The Wyoming lad josh Allen just seems to be able to launch it ridiculously so it's not wonder the NFL guys fancy him. I wouldn't be surprised if 4+ qbs go in round one next year. Bills, Arizona, jets, saints, browns, heck even the Giants have plenty options to fall in love with. 49ers and Chargers too maybe with one of the California guys to groom after Phillip rivers.
Yeah, I think any team that finishes with a top ten draft pick next year & doesn't need a QB is going to get some hefty offers from teams wanting to trade up before they all vanish.
It'll be soul destroying If the Texas have a mare this season because there's just so many options. I'm hoping deshaun turns good, but yeah. Year of the qb 2018.
Gone for Chiefs -5/Cardinals -7/Ravens -7.5/Patriots -6 and Jets +13.5/Dolphins +3.5/49ers +14.
Plus Ravens DST to score a TD.
I feel that the handicaps in the late games are so huge.
Word is Sam Bradford misses tonights game. Keenum to start instead.
Teddy's apparently in with a chance of being back by midseason too.
Just copped that the Packers are a stupid o'clock kickoff tonight :moop:
They're going to get milled by 30+, but still.
My 13/1 five fold came in last week.
This week I've gone:
Treble TD scorers of Fournette, Amari Cooper and Mike Gillislee @ about 9/1.
NE outright, Ravens -7.5, Seahawks -14 (sorry Mahow), Rams outright, Cowboys outright and Steelers outright.
I could well end up being about 1/6 in but this week it feels a bit more difficult to predict. I'm banking on the Seahawks needed to show face after opening 1-0 vs a poor 49ers team. The Rams are a bit of a long shot for me as they're definitely not a sure thing (I'm hoping the Redskins are poor this year). Hoping the Browns last week was a 1 off keeping it close and the Cowboys run all over Denver at mile high.
All depends on which Seahawks team turns up.
Maclin injured now.
I might fly over to Baltimore for a job next week.
Suggs already with a strip sack to get us points on the board.
That gronk play
The saints defence is trash.
We're fucking pathetic :D
Not one game worth watching in this early slot. Redzone it is.
That was so fucking stupid by Cohen.
Fucking supreme catch by Weddle.
2 turnovers already.
That catch from Weddle was top.
Yeah great INT.
Saints pats should be a shoot out when New Orleans wake up.
They're literally going to score a hundred points today :face:
Hogan in for Kizer at QB. Browns are super fucked.
Kizer already being spared by our D :harold:
He's got RandomLegend syndrome.
Does that mean Cody Kessler after being the starter last year is 3rd choice?
Considering he was a healthy inactive for this game, yes.
Pure stupidity from the Browns. If he's not injured then the coach should be sacked within an hour of the game ending.
The fuck is Payton at? Hopefully they miss the FG now.
Bring back Kizer :uhoh:
Ertz  I quite like watching Carson Wentz play. Certainly more than the Saints defence.
If the cards aren't careful they'll have a top draft pick to replace Carson with.
Couple more defeats and Bruce arians would be as well benching Carson and launching in a young pup to fuck it up completely.
Get Blaine Gabbert in there (not today because I have Palmer in fantasy, but maybe from next week) :nodd:
Tyus Bowser with his first pick
Jags/Titans & Chiefs/Eagles are great games, by the look of it. Bortles in particular appears to be having a stormer.
Saints picking Brady off twice in a few passes & having both nullified by penalties is about right.
Kareem :)
I regret backing fournette for a td. Forgot about agent bortles who could ruin that plan.
That catch from duke Johnson... is he not a running back too?!
For someone built so well, Newton is brittle as fuck.
Yeah, but they're basically going to use him as a slot guy this season as they already have Crowell & a bunch of shitty WRs.
Cam's dead again. Panthers lost Olsen earlier too.
Gronk too.
Him and Newton should start a support group.
Newton missed a series.
Travis Kelce
Fournette td
That's 2/2 now. Just need an Amari cooper td and my treble comes in. When's the Oakland game?
Next set of games.
God I love Kizer.
Webb
Kareem Hunt showing us why he's a potential number one fantasy pick next season.
Kizer :harold:
The Browns should've kept Kevin Hogan in, and if Hunt keeps playing like this he won't be available to pick next year.
I'd really like overtime in the Cardinals game so Palmer can get some more yards & a game winning TD.
That onside kick was strange.
Could have probably gone all the way.
Once a Brown, always a Brown.
Played, Dawson.
Game halted due to weather?
Sigh.
He walked off the field with it too and we lost UDFA Bam Bradley who was doing well on special teams.
That catch from Cooper Kupp  He was literally laying on the floor when Goff threw the ball to him.
Gates just got the all-time TD record by a Tight End.
That looks like that could have ended a lot worse for Dak.
Always liked Gates, even despite being a filthy Charger.
Christ, what a catch from Parker.
That looked like it was going to be picked and Parker just stole it from Hayward.
Fuck's sake, Trevor.
Not that the line did him any favours there.
Dallas player in concussion protocol after two helmet-to-helmet hits..... both from his own team-mates.
That's a great catch by Fowler, that may even be a TD but I doubt there'll be anything to overturn it if Denver even tried to challenge it.
Todd Gurley must've watched Travis Kelce earlier today.
He needs to piss off. Bringing my opponent back into it.
That's it, Dallas. Just leave Emmanuel Sanders the space to pitch a tent.
Younghoe :(
2 gamewinners/ties he's missed now.
I guess we've seen the last of the Asian demigod.
Looks like Garrett Bolles might be done for the year.
Such a shame, he seems like a nice chap.
http://www.denverpost.com/wp-content..._001.jpg?w=620
Gamepass wouldn't let me watch the second half of the Denver game so just checked the score.
Fuck yeah.
Post saying Bolles is "week to week."
The Giants offence is awful. Any decent offensive lineman whose contract runs out this year should be going to free agency, because the Giants & the Seahawks ought to be throwing stacks of cash at them.
This guy agrees.
Decided to look for a 'big and tall shop' online for a Ravens shirt and for the same price as a regular shirt I got one of the elite ones which is pretty swish.
Also, that guy looked like he was having a stroke halfway through that.
American sizes are all Big and Tall aren't they? My Von Miller short is a fucking medium, I think, and I'm a proper fatty.
I had to get a small which still seems a bit bigger than if I'd got something in large here. My old Hasselbeck jersey in the proper mesh material claims it's Medium but it's like a muumuu on me.
Jesus :D He sure does hate Pythagoras. And the Giants, obviously.
I got a large in the normal jersey, which is slightly on the large side of fine, and an XL colour rush one (they advise 1-2 sizes larger on those for some reason), which is alright, but a bit tight to stick my head through.
Yeah my 'color rush' is on the smaller side.
I'll be wearing a Williams 98 shirt and Bowser 54 Hoodie over it on Sunday.
Aiming to get there asap so I'll probably leave home around half nine and get there an hour or so later. There had better be loads of shit happening, I'm going to want to load up on food and mooch about.
Is yours a 2.30pm kickoff too? Think they have the doors opening at 12.30 for the Saints/Dolphins game, so I'll probably be aiming rock up somewhere in those two hours & have a quick wander round before finding my seat.
Two games in back to back weeks
Then two shitty trips to Twickenham, including one that kicks off at 6pm so I'll probably get home about 4:30am knowing the trains.
Still, live NFL
Is every team going to get a London game eventually?
The Jags are going to get 8 a year, probably.
Well that TNF outdid expectations just a touch.
Where do you guys normally get Jerseys from and how long do they typically take to arrive?
Jersey from Nike direct and I've used the NFL Europe shop for other bits, best part of a week for delivery for each. I've ordered from the US previously but they all tend to use the same Fanatics site and the shipping went sky high at some point so that was out.
Bradford out again.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
Brandon Williams is out of the London game :(
I wanted to see some of these moves live:
http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/2-23-2016/5cO4L9.gif
I've gone for the following:
£20 on Buck Allen to score a TD/Ravens win
£20 on Buck Allen to score 2 TDs or more
£10 on Buck Allen to score first TD/Ravens win
£3.34 on Buck Allen to rush for 100+/Ravens win
£10 on Ravens by 1-13 point win
£10 on Ravens D/ST to score a TD
£10 on Buck Allen to score a TD
£10 on Tampa -2/Chiefs -3/Bengals +7.5/Seahawks +2.5
£10 on Panthers -5.5/Eagles -6/Broncos -3
£10 on Dolphins -5.5/Bears +7.5/Patriots -14.
Clearly going to end in tears at Wembley.
Not confident in Flacco & the passing game, huh?
He's still playing injured tbh.
You can see that his back is still troubling him although he did manage to take a step forward last week. He can't go deep right now at all and considering that we have 2 speed demons that hurts our passing attack. Wallace and Perriman can't get much separation underneath, especially compared to Maclin.
I'm loving the NFL owners who supposedly won't sign Kaepernick because he's a bit of a troublemaker now bristling with indignation because of what Donald Trump has said.
And his comments about concussion are stupid as well.
Would be a perfect week to sign Kaepernick but I doubt any of them have the balls.
For the teams who 100% have a backup who is worse than him there's really not much of a downside to signing him this week unless he's asking for silly money.
Jesus Christ, Trump has me favouring Kaepernick.
Lots of kneeling for that one.
Baltimore hasn't turned up yet then Mahow?
Well that was something.
Flacco getting shafted is quite entertaining.
The Ravens look absolutely horrendous.
This is a mulling :D
Loltimore.
That's how you make a point.
Absolute bumming, though it's still a bit early for Jacksonville to start going soft like they're doing now.
Fake punting at 37-0 ahead :D
The ravens are easily the worst team I've ever seen live. Mahow.
28 yards passing for Flacco.
Jesus. what the fuck happened in London?! Hope the game next week is as high scoring (Saints being the Jags in this example, of course).
Poor 'how :console:
GamePass coverage starting with a video package about living united
Cam Jordan coming through with a nice sack. If only anyone else on our defence could play like him.
Mahow is probably having a MELTDOWN after that shitshow.
Fucking hell Jameis, you maniac, why are you still throwing that pass into coverage? :D
Lol at Deshaun Watson having a first down on a QB run, only to trip over his own feet, fall over two yards short & fumble the ball out of bounds.
Did he go to it?
What a horrible kick from Catanzaro :D Bears have turned the Steelers over twice already too,
Mickey T
I've obviously missed Reinebold becoming the former Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive coordinator.
Look at the state of him now. That necklace.
Fucking GamePass is randomly losing its mind at the minute
Are you getting the 'This video is temporarily not available, please try again shortly' shit on every stream too?
Yeah, flicks on & off. It's back again at the minute. First time I've had a problem with GamePass, to be fair.
Ted Ginn didn't look to be running quite as quickly as you'd think he should on that deep ball :sherlock:
Jacoby Brissett doesn't want to score passing TDs apparently. Happily, Drew Brees does.
EDIT: Jake Brisket's thrown his first TD. Pleasingly for my dynasty team, it's a long catch & run from TY Hilton, who already has 145 yards :cab:
Guess we can conclude that the Browns still suck then - getting smashed by the Colts here.
What the fuck was that runback from Marcus Cooper :D That's the same play as that college one from last week, but with the exact opposite reason for it happening.
Absolutely glorious from the Bears.
They've got away with it though.
Then they false start the untimed down :D
What a complete shambles. Only thing that could've made it better was Barth getting his kick blocked & it going back the other way.
Ted Ginn making amends. Can't wait to see how the defence fuck this one up.
RIP Jacob Hollister.
Double RIP the Giants offence.
Nah, it did suck but I enjoyed the whole experience. So much so that I'm going to buy a season ticket next year.
Was quite funny seeing 4 Ravens fans from Baltimore in front of me leave early (I was one of very few who stayed until the end).
It was nice of us to send lookalikes to the game so our starters don't get injured.
Missed Yanda on the O-Line massively and Williams on the D-Line. Our O-Line couldn't block at all, our D-Line got barely any pressure (and when they did Bortles dealt well with it) and our secondary was lol as hell. Went away from the run game far too early too and why West got so many of our carries. I think our co-ordinators accidentally took last years playbooks to London as we looked abject.
It was fun seeing Tucker practice though. Kicks it from 50 yards on way, does it the other way and then goes to the 45 to boot it the opposite side.
I was seething at the queue for the shop (I also asked for the biggest hat they had as I was hot and it fit me like a pork pie hat so went right back into the bag) which made me miss Ray Lewis' interview with Neil.
Oh and AJ Bouye and Ramsey (especially so) look seriously good.
Ramsey in particular was all over the place in terminator like mode.
Oh and the first Man United game I went to was also at Wembley (old one) and we got smashed 3-0 by Arsenal in the Community Shield. We won the treble the season so pile your money on the Ravens to win the Super Bowl.
IT'S FATE.
Gerald McCoy injured :(
Was brilliant seeing so many Ravens kneel during the anthem too.
I also stayed sitting (I think I was one of only 5 in the whole block) during the anthem too.
Someone should tell Desean Jackson that his team are still 2 TD's down.
We just got a turnover from our defence. It's a miracle.
OBJ just destroyed Jalen Mills for a TD. Bet they wish they'd taken those two field goals earlier now, the stupid fucking twats.
OBJ's celebration
Glad they gave him a penalty for that (and hopefully a fine tomorrow).
That's nuts by Beckham.
I really hope we play like this next week, and perhaps more importantly, the Dolphins play like they have this week too.
This Lions defence is a proper turnover machine. Three picks of Matt Ryan today, three of Carson Palmer in week one, and one of Eli last week.
After a decent start Denver have gone to absolute shit. Lucky to be in the game.
Well, the offense are lucky. Defence playing their socks off.
Lol at that unsportsmanlike call.
Throwing into triple coverage.
Played, Jameis.
Did they really flag Von Miller for faking helping Tyrod Taylor up? :D
Giants doing a great job of helping me out in fantasy this week. Now I just need Jay Cutler to stop being shit & Jack Doyle to get out of the minus column.
I'm playing Madden watching my CPU v CPU Saints franchise team smash the Panthers (Newton has 3 picks & 2 fumbles in three quarters), while watching the actual Saints smash the actual Panthers, who've totally given up & put Derek Anderson in
How about them Pats, huh?
Some cracking close finishes in these early games. Could well have two overtime games & yet another Matt Stafford comeback.
What a run by Tarik Cohen
SOMEONE KEEP ME COMPANY!!
Well at least the Steelers have lost.
Tarik Cohen is mental.
Ugh.
They had better not screw this up now.
Jordan Howard
I'd rather they'd have let Cohen's run stand.
Huge call in Detroit.
The refs wont leave alive.
Fairly farcical end to the Lions game there (particularly when you factor all the penalties in). No way that doesn't stay with the on the field decision at almost any other time in a game.
Why don't they ever freeze the frame when they do the replays?
What a kick from Jake Elliott to win the game for the Eagles. And yeah, the end of that Lions game was a shambles.
What a boot.
Eagles :harold:
That doesn't help me fantasy wise :sherlock:
Davante Adams :moop: Looks like he's down before the ball comes out, but you never know with the call being set as a fumble on the field.
Richard Sherman committing three penalties on one play & trying to get himself ejected.
Sherman SEETHING there.
That's him done for the day, surely? He's come in hot as a motherfucker today for some reason.
He's got to go before he just stabs a ref for kicks.
He's on LSD and thinks everyone is some 10 foot Sherman eating monster.
The Packers are done here.
Jimmy Graham really hasn't worked out as he should have done, injury or not.
Banging Younghoes.
Strange that no one reported on the Bengals and Packers swapping QBs before this game.
Big plays galore for the Titans in this one.
lol at Jeremy Lane getting destroyed.
Kareem Hunt, I'm yours
He's not normal.
Geronimo!
At least our defeat doesn't mean that much as everyone else has lost.
Brilliant pass and awareness by Rodgers.
My feed went grainy on that play & I saw Rodgers bomb it to a black dude, only to discover it was Geronimo not Devante Adams :moop:
Pretty wild week of football, all things considered.
Only for Rodgers. The Packers roster is some steaming pile of shit otherwise.
They're 10-0 since Thanksgiving against teams that aren't named the Falcons according to the commentators last night.
Has a shitty Eagles stream going where I was but marked out at that FG. 61 yards and dead straight. He'll never hit a better kick. Beckham can fuck off :D
Bad side of that game is we've lost Sproles. He's torn his ACL and broken his arm on the same play. At 34 he could very likely be done for good. Shit way to go out.
The only other big thing I've seen is the end of the Lions game. They were robbed. Fair enough it happened too fast for the officials to clearly see, but for them to essentially punish the Lions for reviewing the play is wrong. They might not have been able to line up in 8 seconds, but at least give them the chance of another play.
http://www.denverpost.com/2017/09/25...-nfl-protests/
:face:Quote:
“They don’t have the right to express themselves freely when people died for (them),” said Leonard Rowe, 79, of Denver, an Army Corps of Engineers veteran who served in Korea in the early 1960s.
And he goes on:
It's not because he's too busy to take your call, mate, it's because you're an old crackpot.Quote:
“I’ve been trying to get through to (Broncos general manager John) Elway, and they won’t even give you his line because there’s so many people calling, ” Rowe said. “It’s up to the owners to address this. And if they don’t put it together, nobody’s going to go to the games and their source of revenue will get cut off.”
I just don't understand why protesting during the anthem is a direct insult to the military. If they were literally going up to veterans & giving them the finger I'd get it, but it's very clearly been established what the underlying issue that's being protested is, and that it's nothing to do with the military in any way.
Clearly I just don't understand the relationship between state & military in America. It just seems like all the nationalists are kicking up a fuss about a flag, meanwhile police are shooting unarmed black dudes for no reason & that's fine because they stand up for the anthem.
In other news, Trent Richardson has been signed by a CFL team.
And in not so surprising news, we have another injury.
Brent Urban went down in the Wembley game and has been diagnosed with a lisfranc injury and will be out 'long term'.
Do you have any starters left at this point?
Just spotted that he may well go on IR and Langford went a couple of days ago.
That's 17 (if Urban does go on) excluding Pitta and Orr.
Romo in the booth
He's already better than any of the others in a few weeks of doing it.
I was actually pleasantly surprised, I thought he was going to be shit but yeah I would agree.
Can't remember who it was but someone said he studied for the play-by-play gig by playing Madden & just ended up going full QB & smashing people.
Damn.
I was gonna reference that, read about it in MMQB. Don't think I've heard him yet but I've read some good stuff.
Indeed.
I thought he would be shit as he's a smug wanker.
He is shit. Who the fuck wants some twat telling you what's about to happen?
I'd rather watch the damn game than have this guy smearing his ego all over it
If you don't want insight that might improve your understanding of the game I'm sure you can get plenty of games with Daryl Johnston colour-commentating on them still.
Or just mute it.
Or just hope that Snoop Dogg/Lion/Hippo/Meerkat decides to have a go at the NFL:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZUgZfvhJLI
That last post comes across as more cunty than I really intended it, but it just feels like when people were slagging off Neville back when he was actually still good, but on principle because it was Gary Neville. I've no expectation that Romo's enthusiasm for being a good commentator won't wane and be taken over by his ego and soundbite-o-meter but if he's good now then he's good.
That said, I never particularly hated Romo anyway, despite him being Jerry's boy. At his frantic best he was one of the most entertaining (not best) QBs in the league.
College game day isn't on because of some bullshit on ESPN. What the fuck.
Lee Corso is and shut your face.
It's streaming on youtube, so I'm saved.
I watched last week's Oklahoma State/TCU game earlier, but the recording ended as Oklahoma State were getting the ball back one score down with 2mins left
Watching Tennessee/Georgia at the minute. Justin Martin, the lad who ran down a Florida receiver & saved a TD a couple of weeks ago, just got a pick after almost downing a punt on the 1 a few plays earlier. He's going in the Spencer Ware category of guys I liked in college despite only seeing them play about five snaps.
Tennessee turned the ball straight back over when the centre snapped the ball up his own arse, so it was all worthwhile.
It's a bit of a battle in the trenches game, which isn't great.
This Tennessee qb is toss, seen him In a couple of games this year. Georgia qb is better but very young.
Mental about that lineman though. 6 foot 6 and 320 pounds as a freshman. Imagine being a spotty 17 year old and running into him in high school.
Yeah, I've enjoyed the games i've watched so far this season because they've all ended up being more sensible scores rather than insane shootouts. Fromm's run in a couple & his TD pass was pretty nice too, shame he doesn't understand how to slide at all :D
I like the chequer pattern thing Tennessee fans do in the stands. Might get pretty patchy soon if their team keeps turning the ball over though.
EDIT: Another turnover :D Big play from the running back Kelly, who looked pretty good last time, and he gets the ball pulled out while trying to fight for more yardage. Just a complete disaster from the whole offence.
Started the fourth quarter by punting into a lineman's head for negative yardage. Why not at this point?
Off to Wembley today. No doubt the it'll rain the whole afternoon, the Saints will be shit & Jay Cutler will throw 6 TDs now i've dropped him in the TTH league.
Still, should be a fun time.
I should probably watch it and see how I get on really because I went to Saints / Chargers at Wembley (nearly a decade ago now :|) and the guy I was with was doing it before every play but in his case it was because he wanted to do the I-told-you-so look whenever he got it right.
In hindsight I can't remember why he ended up being the only other one I went with given I don't really like him that much.
Didn't realise there was a UK game this week again. Is it early like the Jaguars one last week?
That punt that Dan mentioned was great.
Watched the rest of the game (fast forwarded to interesting moments) this morning. Tennessee have always been shit when I've seen them.
Currently watching a recording of the Auburn v Miss State game and hopefully it gets really lopsided so I can bin it off and watch Clemson Virginia Tech instead.
Buying one of those 2TB sky boxes is paying dividends. I've got more american football recorded than I've got time to watch. NFL and college american football season is
If you haven't been before.
Get into the tailgate bit as soon as possible and into the queue for the merchandise (if buying).
I spent too long pissing around in the smaller bit, listening to Neil. There was no one there at the time but when I went to the tailgate, it was fucking heaving.
Is this not fucking being televised? Cannot be arsed taking up my phone for hours casting game pass.
Snead's out :( Dolphins have lost Byron Maxwell too though, so hopefully their secondary is dogshit.
Only problem is Mahow has Thomas against me this week, but I have him in dynasty. Hopefully he has lots of short catches & someone else gets all the TDs. Best result for me would be Thomas being bad & Parker running wild.
@Giggles It's on BBC, right? Not sure if you can watch it through BBC Sport website.
I bet Dan is going to be a woman and stand for the American anthem.
Also, fuck you. I couldn't get on TTH (or anything) for shit in the stadium before the game despite full reception :(
A Coby Fleener TD here would be good.
Hoping this is a shoot-out.
Opted for a TD four fold of Fleener, AJ Green, Devonta Freeman and Kareem Hunt.
Then gone for a 5 fold of New England, Atlanta, Kansas City, Baltimore and the Eagles+2.
Think the Steelers will absolutely fuck Baltimore but history suggests the Steelers are wank at Baltimore and they struggled on the road at Cleveland.
I think we're going to see a return to form for us today, at least defensively.
We like to play down for the mediocre teams and play up for the bigger ones, especially with those we have a rivalry with.
Would also be good if we actually run the fucking ball again, with Buck Allen and Alex Collins instead of West who is a bit meh.
I've gone big on the Dolphins on the handicap here (+3 IIRC) as I think they'll win it.
I didn't, and I was rewarded with Anzalone going down the tunnel within two minutes :moop:
Is the atmosphere better in the stadium in these than it comes across on the telly?
Mongler :face:
Although Thomas shouldn't be losing a one-on-one against a midget corner.
Edit: He actually looks smaller than he is, he's 6 foot 1 but Thomas should still be muscling him out.
Cutler :D
It's pretty loud, but I'm going to murder someone if I have to hear 'THAT'S ANOTHER MIAMI DOLPHINS FIRST DOWN!' the whole game.
Great start from Cutler. At least he's chucking it to Parker a lot.
Cordrea Tankersley?
Well that goes near the top of the list for mental names.
Neither team getting sideline radio. Should make for some top fuck ups along the way.
It's a retractable NFL field. Interested to see that in action.
How bad are both teams then @Dan?
Tech issues asides obviously.
This game is trash.
Absolute dogshit.
More flags than last week.
What a fucking terrible half of football. The only redeeming factor is that someone behind me brought a load of dusters to throw every time there's a penalty. They've seen quite a lot of use so far :D
We're watching kids football at halftime. They've already scored two TDs - I want them to stay for the second half.
Michael Thomas you beautiful mother fucker.
91 and 95 should be shot for not recovering that.
Just fall on it you fools.
It's not too bad for you lot when you can just drive up or down the road but imagine getting a flight and dealing with Heathrow or Stanstead, then ending up at utter dross like this. I don't think I'd ever chance going to one.
They're taking our flags away now
Not the ones they provided, the dusters :D
They weren't happy when we started throwing have them off the balcony to the stand below. Had a few security people come round to confiscate the ones they could find, but there are still a few left.
Roethlisberger looks like a lineman.
Dalton :harold:
Fuck sake :D
That Tucker trade is looking :harold: at the moment.
Cutler
That's how you sell your role in the wildcat.
The Texans are touching the Titans. Did not expect that.
No one did.
Run the fucking ball, Baltimore.
It's really not hard to understand, our passing game is built on our running game. Flacco is much better when the run is going so he can use play action passes.
We miss Yanda and Brandon Williams so much.
We can't run or pass that effectively behind our O-line now and we can't stop the run defensively.
Dalvin Cook has gone down
https://i.imgflip.com/17n1kj.jpg
That looked horrible for Cook.
Should've trusted my head earlier. Pittsburgh were always going to muff this lot.
Aj green and freeman both have Tds too. If hunt scores for Kansas later I'll be annoyed. I added fleener to make the early game interesting. :moop:
Our OLine is horseshit but Flacco really should be doing more.
Might as well just tank the season, rest the starters so they don't get injured (bar Flacco) and get a QB in the draft.
'Joe' is done.
49 passing attempts compared to 15 rushing...
Mornhinweg is a fucking tool.
It's not hard to comprehend that Flacco will always look shit when asked to pass almost 50 fucking times (30 is pushing it for fucks sake) and that building the passing game comes from the rushing. We have always looked better when being a run first team pounding the football. This then sees the defence being more susceptible to play action passes or deep balls as they load up for the run.
The sooner we fire the cock the better.
That's fucking lovely from Derby.
Tight end starting at fullback to do a wheel.
Buffalo  Shame the Patriots fucked everything up against Carolina though.
I think I've said it every week so far, but I really love watching Carson Wentz.
Me too. :D
I love Mike Evans.
I do too, but I'd love him even more if you didn't have him. As with Michael Thomas though, it's balanced by me having him in dynasty,
Right call, sadly.
Yeah, looks to be.
Shame that long bomb wasn't to Amari Cooper.
ACL tear for Cook apparently.
If jerserys weren't so expensive I'd probably consider starting a proper collection by getting Wentz, Hunt, DJ, Gordon & Kupp.
That's a good question actually. Which one player would you get from each team if you could? Past or present, if that helps.
Toggle Spoiler
Dolphins & Browns were the only ones I struggled to think of someone for.
EDIT: You can tell how long it took me to do that :D
A Reggie White Packers one and that's it.
Toggle Spoiler
Influenced by A Football Life and Madden really.
I debated a Butt Fumble reference too :D I also got tempted by Clinton-Dix.
Get Aguayo back in Tampa Bay.
Rivers has been fuming a couple of times already this season :D
Hoyer gets his leg bent in half & comes back in a few plays later
Mack is tearing strips off the o-line here.
Fuck off Austin Eckler.
I don't care how dominant the Denver defense has been against them so far, why the fuck are you fake punting there at 9 points behind with over a quarter left?
And lol at being done for taunting when YOU'VE been stopped. Idiot penalty.
Shit, I somehow forgot about Wilfork.
They were thinking that King faked the punt off his own back, rather than it being a designed play. If that's the case that's absolutely mental.
He has form for it:
https://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/LCY...423/king.0.gif
He started off as a wide receiver in college.
It was almost like Newhouse wasn't even there.
I have to say that's probably the worst game I've been too today. It was just really, really dull. I still enjoyed the experience of going but I hope the other 2 games are more entertaining.
On top of the good stuff that had been said by others, I like that Romo just sounds like he's actually enjoying himself.
Browns - Bernie Kozar
Bengals - Munoz
Ravens - Reed
Steelers - Bettis
Patriots - Gronkowski
Dolphins - Dwight Stevenson, all world centre
Bills - Bruce Smith
Jets - not a single one comes to mind
Broncos - Mecklenburg
Chiefs - Derrick Thomas
Raiders - Bo Jackson
Chargers - Little train James
Titans - Moon
Texans - Watt
Colts - Faulk
Jags - Boselli
Panthers - Steve Smith
Falcons - Gerald Riggs
Bucs - Sapp
Cowboys - Herschel Walker
Giants - Taylor
Eagles - Cunningham
Redskins - Art Monk
Packers - Favre
Bears - Payton
Vikings - Cris Carter
Lions - Sanders
Cardinals - Fitzgerald
49ers - Montana
Seahawks - Largent
Rams - Dickerson.
I'm old school
I thought he might have got that toe in.
Brilliant effort though.
Fitz is such a Don.
Just read the posts from the UK game :D not sure how I missed that last night. Genuinely thought someone had nicked Dan's flag at the end until he explained it, but man, I've taken my flag home from every UK game and they're all lovely (the Bengals one from last year being the worst of the bunch) but yesterday's was so shite I left it. Please don't let that become a thing, replacing nice flags with team logos on with some coloured tin foil.
As for the Jersey question, mine would almost all be Fantasy related, but I'd likely go with:
Browns - McCown, just because I won a game with him last year!
Bengals - Green
Ravens - Just leave it blank in protest of the idea of ever starting a Raven.
Steelers - Brown
Patriots - Wilfork
Dolphins - Jones
Bills - Not sure.
Jets - Decker
Broncos - Manning, despite the final season.
Chiefs - Smith, just love him.
Raiders - Probably Cooper but I wouldn't be happy about it.
Chargers - Maybe Keenan Allen as he's on almost all my teams this year.
Titans - Mariota
Texans - Wilfork again.
Colts - Luck
Jags - Probably have to be Allen Robinson.... Ugh.
Panthers - Wouldn't buy one.
Falcons - Ryan or Julio.
Bucs - Evans
Cowboys - Probably Dak.
Giants - Beckham
Eagles - No one comes to mind so let's just say Wentz.
Redskins - Reed
Packers - Rodgers
Bears - Howard?
Vikings - Peterson
Lions - Even though I never had him, probably Calvin as the only good Lion I ever saw.
Cardinals - Fitzgerald
49ers - Smith again, so I can pretend Kaepernick didn't happen.
Saints- Graham maybe, or Brees.
Seahawks - Probably Wilson.
Rams - Already got Gurley as my only jersey, so him.
Edit- Actually, stick Woodhead in for Chargers and the Ravens. Not sure how I forgot him. Don't care if he never plays again, he's still the best Ravens player by default.
It's worth pointing out that for some of them I wouldn't ever buy one (Ravens or Patriots being the main ones) even if money were no object.
Cam Newton says a sexist thing to a female reporter.
Turns out she's a racist.
Cunt looks like a cunt but there is no direct victim because he was being a cunt to another cunt.
Everybody wins!
Internet being the internet went back 5 years on her Twitter for dirt. Turns out she posted racist stuff back then.
There are 2 fouls on the play. Personal foul, unsportsmanlike conduct, interviewee #1. Personal foul, unsportsmanlike conduct, interviewer. Both of these penalties offset, 3rd down.
I've lost my Younghoe :(
Her saying she was belittled immediately made me turn not give a fuck about the entire thing.
I doubt he meant 'funny' as in 'LOL women talking about routes??? The only route a woman knows about is the route to the kitchen to make my dinner :henn0rz:' but more 'It's uncommon to see a female reporter here & I'm going to clumsily point that out because I'm a fucking moron'
He was brought up in Georgia and is now living in North Carolina.
He's programmed to be sexist, it's all he's known.
Why would he be saying that? NFL players have been getting interviewed by female journalists since before he even started playing.
I'm not saying it's not possible that he's not just just that thick, but it's also possible he is a megacunt.
It's the look on his face that drives it home.
Nervous about today.
We should make EJ Manuel's life hell with our secondary but we could also make him look like Prime Vick. On the flip side, Khalil Mack could get about 30 sacks on his own against our OLine.
I just hope your lot get so excited getting after Manuel that you totally forget to cover Amari Cooper.
Looks like being a hideous game though.
Is anyone else unable to connect to Game Pass at all?
Yep, just cut me off & now won't load back :moop: Will try it on my Xbox in a second.
EDIT: Works fine on Xbox, so probably working on mobile as well.
I'm just getting a loading screen on the laptop. It'll open on the phone but won't load any games.
It's been such a shit service, no wonder they needed to do all those fake reviews.
The Chargers are a mess.
GamePass back on the web now, although for how long I don't know.
EDIT: I do know. It was about eight seconds :D
Getting the same on my mobile as my Laptop, just the big GAME PASS logo and the dots under it. A few times it connected but when I selected red zone the video didn't load. What a load of shite.
Yeah, if i didn't have an Xbox I'd be pissed, as it is I'm just inconvenienced.
I downloaded the mobile app and it kept telling me the password was wrong (fairly sure it wasn't) so I reset the password, logged in and it just took me to my profile with no option to view anything. Closed the app and re-opened and now it's telling me the password I literally just changed is wrong. Fuck off.
Edit- So I press forgotten password again and for some reason that logs me in. I now find the option to view so click on it and it keeps asking me to sign up for a free trial... I already have the fucking paid option. What is going on?
Has DeVante Parker gone off injured?
Got my connection back again, and actually watching stuff.
Nevermind, it's gone again.
I'm hearing Parker is done for the day, via text from a mate rather than actually seeing it.
Yeah, just looked it up. Ankle injury, questionable to return.
Speaking of ankle injuries, Dalton just got rolled up on & AJ McCarron came in briefly. Dalton's back in, but we'll see how he fares.
One person who won't be back though is Charles Clay, who's apparently been carted off with a knee injury. Matt Cassell has also been taken out to be evaluated for a concussion, meaning Brandon Weeden is in after only being signed a few days ago. I'm sure that will end well.
EDIT: Ed Dickson running wild  Who's going to be the one to overreact & pick him up this week then?
They deserve it for signing Weeden in the first place.
All worked well... for about 3 minutes. Gone again.
Kizloler.
Cleveland :D
If this year was meant to be one where they test out Kizer to see if he's their guy or whether they should take another QB next season I think we probably have an answer already,
He's so shit.
Ryan Shazier
Gotta love the quirks of football that make that an interception rather than a fumble.
Cutlery man wishing he had stayed in the booth.
Yeah, at this point you'd think he's gotta be heading back there next week.
Jets, Saints & Titans are probably three of the worst defences in the league, and he's been awful against all of them.
Zane Gonzalez showing solidarity for Nick Folk by deliberately missing two FGs in the first half.
EDIT: Giants receivers are dropping like flies. Marshall & Shepard both injured. Must be because I picked up Eli.
Larry Fitz with his 200th consecutive game with a reception :hail:
That stiff arm from Melvin on Janoris Jenkins
Hogan coming in was a must.
Fucking LOL :D
You do wonder what Cody Kessler's done to get pushed behind all these shitbags after being adequate last season.
Hogan made our D look silly when it looked monstrous for 2 weeks.
Looks to have worked mind, they're leading at last. Admittedly it's almost entirely down to a godly catch from David Njoku.
EDIT: Add Bilal Powell to the injury list. I own him on the cursed fantasy team too :D Another one that helps me against Fay though, so I'll take that one.
I think AJ Green has been paid off. Two tips for INTs & now a fumble.
Green :harold:
Telvin Smith is really damn good.
Seems to have a few of those each season he's been in the league.
Yeah, he's been a good player for them for a few seasons now. Titans TE Phillip Supernaw just scored his first ever TD - I swear he's been in the league at least eight seasons :cab:
Packers team news for tonight - Adams is playing, Montgomery's inactive. Presumably Jones will start with Williams mixing in.
EDIT: Also Nelson Agholor  Mugged poor Budda Baker off to get into the endzone there.
Nice pass too.
Fucking lol at the Steelers.
Colts have something in Mack when Gore goes.
Giants have lost Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard & now Dwayne Harris from their WR corps, and OBJ was just on the sideline with a towel over his face.
Still, they do have Roger Lewis, which is all that matters
David Njoku is having a stormer here. The Arizona defence, however, is not. Somehow Legarrette Blount has managed to break off two huge runs, and I don't think he can actually run.
Kapernick has caved. He'll be on a field by next weekend.
https://www.balls.ie/american-sports...-anthem-375324
Green finally does something and gets injured.
Cutler has THIRTY THREE yards passing coming to the end of the third quarter, and he's completed two of his last thirteen passes :D
Matt Moore has to start next week.
