I sacked off that Silver/Gold game mode. Just proper sweat-fest every minute of every game
I didn't bother with either the Silver Gauntlet, or the RTTF one they did the week before. Not enough time in the day to make me play sweaty game modes with minimal rewards.
Silver Lounge for these Silver cards, on the other hand, has been surprisingly easy. Strolled through most of the games.
I feel like its been worse than elite rivals. So glad to see the back of it. Speaking of which, not sure I will be getting to 8 this week as I am not sure I feel like grinding out 4 more wins tonight.
I was worried about what I might be missing and then I saw that Tammy Abraham card - "score in 10 separate matches (for a dreadful card)" and I'm quite content.
I think the gauntlet prepped me very well for WL qualifiers. Won 6/7 with the silvers. I think I will play all 10 to try get the 8 done.
The silvers stuff has been great Yev. Not too much time invoked in picking up the online ones and the SBCs are all 82/83 rated.
The battles ones can all be stacked and done now too.
These will all help with first owner and silver stuff for swaps/objectives in the future and also MM mode.
Have yet to dip a toe into WL but why not dive in with silvers? Are you facing many other silver teams Danny?
Kroos is leaked to be in the birthday team 1. He's currently 35k a pop.

He will go up eventually no matter what. I usually pick up a stack when he hits 30k and sell when he flys to 40+ for an SBC

Nothing really excites me in that FUT Birthday team to be honest. Plus that Abraham has to be one of the worst objectives card we're going to get all year.

The Yankee cards we've had tonight look good. Especially the CB. Mukhtar being there for 2 months means there's plenty time to tick it off too. If anything the worst value card there is POWER CUBE. Simply for the effort in getting him.
If you have a full silver MLS team handy, you can tick off this and the Silver beasts PLUS objective at the same time as it requires the same 8 games with things done in it. I've one to go and then saving the ultimate pack for the small chance tomorrow.
Also warning that I believe KDB, Reinier, Pogba and Elanga expire tomorrow at 6pm. As does the silver stars player pick. I havent done the latter yet, but there's only 2 players in there really that would help my team. That's Diallo and the german CB. Seems tough to gamble the 20k on one of those showing up.

I've been neglecting the Future Stars objectives, so rattled through Chukwueze last night and it wasn't too taxing. I'd pretty much made my mind up that I'd give Gouiri a miss - I haven't run a French or Ligue 1 squad all year, and I don't really have a club stocked full of players to make him work in a team.
However, I've had a fair bit of free time today so thought maybe I'll give it a start and see how it goes. It took me almost 20 minutes to find my first game, and despite scoring inside 10 minutes, my opponent was keen to play the whole match (fair enough, I'd probably do the same). After a full length win, I was searching for almost 15 minutes before I packed it in. Too much time for a player that I doubt I'll use.
Seriously surprised at how long it took to find a game for the Ligue 1 squad though - I knew some of you had similar issues earlier but thought it may have evened out now the objective is nearing the end.

So far have played 6 games. All 6 have been against peoples seemingly strongest team. At least 1 meta Icon or TOTY in each. So far sit at 4-2.
I've found it's not so much the meta attackers that are the issue. Seeing a Kante or flashback Varane is much worse. You can't really run by them but the downside of these silvers bar KDB really, is their passing.
From that team, Elanga is class. KDB will score if you get him space and the RW kid seems great too. Cyprien and Joelinton do what they say on the tin, but Pogba. Boy is he crap. Way too slow and clunky. Defence holds up okay for what you're up against, but that Henry is a different kind of speed.
Unfortunately I agree on Pogba. Right now he doesn’t make it in my strongest team (Diallo, Cyprien and KDB being my midfield 3). I was hoping he would bully but he just feels crap.
I should also point out I faced two people who from kick off, turned and smashed it back to their keeper, but then put it out for a corner and left. If you're wasting a game at least pass on the win!
The only card I think I've not done is Welbeck and he might be able to fix some of the issues in the team. Might have to get him in instead. It would also give me options beyond the 4-3-1-2 which I've pretty much been forced to run.

To be honest I had no idea what to expect going into the weekend. First one of the year with a silver team and I'm happy with that. Two of the losses I'd likely not been able to stop with a full gold team, but one I could have. The guy was 4-0 up at HT and I came back to 4-3 but hit the post twice in the last 5 mins.
I won 2 out of my first 4 (but I am playing GG cause I dont want to be here all day). You should be more than fine :lol:

PIMs all released. That Bastian is a shock how great that card looks. But why RM ffs? Almost all moments cards look great now. Some nuts.
Fredericks is todays SBC from FIFA 15. Looks an okay card, but if you ignore the lightning pace he's just average really. Though the 5* WF is nice. Would have been nicer to see him closer to 100k.
