The Clubs are going to produce mental numbers. Their target audience is pretty much entirely unvaccinated / newly single dosed. But they're also low risk.
We need to get away from thinking about Case numbers. We don't monitor how much Flu is going around and we don't spend time testing people to track variants like this either.

To a degree but there comes a tipping point whereby even with far fewer percentage of people in hospital then it still hits the numbers of last year. Not sure if that’s 150k a day, 200k a day or it may be far higher but 1% of that many cases ending up in hospital starts becoming big numbers. A girl in my daughters class was off school yesterday isolating because her brother has Covid. The girl has woken up with symptoms today and had a test.
Should my daughter be off school? Or does that only happen when they get the positive test back? OR does she not have to at all because the girl only got symptoms when already isolating (she was last in on Monday)?
