I think it's already too late. Max is not a bad enough driver to be finishing down in 7th or something, by anything more than a fluke.
You'd be thinking a DNF for someone more than something like a 7th.
At the bare minimum, they need McLaren 1-2's with Lando taking the wins.
Problem for Lando fans is your top teams are remarkably reliable in terms of mechanical failures.
